Theme: Reclaiming Biblical Womanhood
A woman who submits to God’s design joyfully, willingly, and wholeheartedly is no ordinary woman. She carries a quiet, devastating authority. Every yes to God is a firm no to Satan, and with that yes she pulls down what darkness builds and frustrates the works of the enemy. Rejoice if this is your path. You are rare. You are costly. Heaven rejoices over you! – The BUD Family Africa

Why Heaven Backs A Submissive Woman
A woman who submits to God’s design joyfully, willingly, and wholeheartedly has stepped into something spiritual and real.
She has aligned herself with God Himself!
She has agreed that His way is right, His order is good, and His will is best.
The Path of Christ
And the Scriptures show that this is the very path of Christ.
The Scriptures that, “The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do… for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner” (John 5:19).
Again, Jesus confirmed that by saying “I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things” (John 8:28).
This was the life of the Lord Jesus. Total submission. Total yielding. And because of that, the Scriptures say, “The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand” (John 3:35).
Authority followed submission!
The entire Kingdom of Heaven followed submission!
Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the whole Kingdom of Heaven! The whole possibilities of Heaven! The Whole Presence of Heaven!
So when a woman embraces God’s design, not struggling with it, not resisting it, but receiving it joyfully and wholeheartedly, she is walking in this same pattern.
She is not reduced. She is established.
Christ was not reduced, He was exalted!
A Spiritual Law
There is a spiritual law at work here, sis. Pay attention.
In the same way the body receives nutrients from what it submits its stomach to, the spirit steps into strength from what it yields to.
When a person eats well, the body is supplied with nutrients, with vitamins.
When a woman “feeds” on obedience, humility, and submission to God’s will, something is supplied to her spirit.
The Scriptures say, “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19).
It is like a divine equation already set by God.
When she joyfully receives God’s order, she automatically comes under His backing. Just as food produces strength in the body, submission produces covering, support, and spiritual authority.
The Result of Christ’s Submission
Because of the submission of Jesus, did you see what the Father did?
The Scriptures say: “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9–11).
Because He humbled Himself, because He submitted fully, because He became obedient, God responded.
God exalted Him.
God honored Him.
God established His authority openly.
This is the pattern.
Submission first. Exaltation after.
The Scriptures say, “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up” (James 4:10).
And again, “Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted” (Matthew 23:12).
So the submission of Jesus was not loss. It was the pathway to glory.
And it is the same principle, dear woman who the Lord has asked to submit. Submitting first to God and next to her man.
When a life is fully submitted to God, God Himself takes responsibility for lifting, establishing, defending, and honoring that life.
This is why that path is powerful. It may look quiet, but heaven is behind it.
The Order of Authority
The Scriptures say:“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
Did you notice the order?
Submission comes first. Then resistance becomes effective.
I mean! Satan must just flee at your resistance, woman!
Every Yes Matters
So every yes to God is not empty, sis.
Every yes to purity.
Every yes to submission to your husband.
Every yes to joyfully making your home.
Every yes to being led of the Spirit and not your flesh.
Every yes to God’s order in the home.
Every yes to His instructions.
With each yes, you are taking a stand against Satan!
Satan opposes God’s order. He works through rebellion, disorder, and independence. So when a woman embraces God’s design, she has already turned against darkness. Her life itself begins to frustrate the works of the enemy.
The Scriptures say, “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8).
And now, in submission to God, her life begins to reflect that same victory.
Heaven’s Response
This is why heaven responds to her.
The Scriptures say, “The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him” (2 Chronicles 16:9).
This is that woman. Her heart is fully toward God. Not divided. Not negotiating. Fully yielded.
So God backs her.
He guides her.
He preserves her.
He answers her.
The Scriptures say, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16).
There is weight in her life because there is alignment in her heart.
Patterns from the Scriptures
You see this pattern in the Scriptures.
Mary received a divine promise, yet she still walked in submission within God’s order. She did not exalt herself above her husband. She yielded, and obeyed all the leading of Joseph. And God fulfilled His word through her.
Sarah followed Abraham’s leading, trusting the God who called him. If she had refused to go with Abraham; if she had said ‘You go! You can’t just uproot me from me people like this because you heard a voice. You said you don’t even know where you are going to!’
No! She followed her husband without fear. Where you will be, I will also be.
The Scriptures say, “…You are her daughters when you do what is right without fear of what your husbands might do.” (1 Peter 3:6).
The Battle with Fear
Fear loses its hold when trust in God is complete.
Many struggle here. The heart begins to ask, what if?
I have heard women say:
What if my husband dies?
What if he is unfaithful to me?
What if he changes?
What if I am left alone?
What if I am not loved the way I should be?
So, they quickly build walls around themselves and say no to God’s order. You see, these questions they ask feel real. Yes, there are different examples around that can attest to their fears BUT…
The fear reveals something deeper!
It shows where the heart is still trying to secure itself outside of God.
A woman who has truly submitted to God’s design has settled something within herself. Her life is not preserved by a man. Her future is not sustained by a man. Her safety is not guaranteed by human behavior.
Her life is in the hands of God.
And God is not careless.
The Backing of Heaven
So she obeys. She rests. She follows.
And in doing so, she comes under the backing of heaven.
The Analogy of Trust
Let me paint this with this analogy:
A good father stands below while his child is on a height. He says, “Jump. I will catch you.” The child looks down and begins to calculate.
What if I fall?
What if his hands miss me?
What if I get hurt?
All those questions come from one place. Lack of trust. Fear.
But when the child settles it and says, “I trust you,” everything changes.
She lets go. She jumps. It wasn’t that the height reduced, but the trust had risen!
And what does the father do?
He positions himself. He stretches out his hands. His attention is fixed. He is not careless with that child. He knows the child has placed everything on his word.
The Scriptures say, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven…” (Matthew 7:11).
If an earthly father will act with such care, how much more God.
What Submission Looks Like
This is what submission to God looks like.
It is a woman standing at the edge of her own understanding, her own control, her own calculations, and choosing to trust God’s Word above all of it.
God says, walk this way.
God says, yield here.
God says, follow My design.
And she says, “I trust You.”
So she lets go of fear. She lets go of self-preservation. She lets go of needing to control outcomes. And she steps into obedience.
That step is her “jump.”
And heaven responds.
The Scriptures say, “Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass” (Psalm 37:5).
And again, “He will give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways” (Psalm 91:11).
God is not absent in that moment. He is attentive.
His hands are sure.
His eyes are watching.
His power is engaged.
Looking steadfastly at this woman who is banking on His Word, rolling down a cliff, trying to fall in His hands.
No power of darkness can override her! The angels are at alert!
Oh, a life that is truly yielded to God!
That life is not acting alone. Heaven is backing it.
Submission is powerful, sis. It is not falling into emptiness. It is falling into the hands of God.
And the Scriptures say, “Underneath are the everlasting arms” (Deuteronomy 33:27).
So when she yields, she is not losing herself.
She is being held.

The Value of This Path
This path is not common. It requires surrender. It requires trust. It requires letting go of self and embracing God’s wisdom fully.
But the Scriptures say, “Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised” (Proverbs 31:30).
And again, “She is far more precious than rubies” (Proverbs 31:10).
She is rare. She is costly. She is precious in His sight.
Authority Through Alignment
And you see, when a woman is truly under God’s authority, her life carries weight in the spirit.
The centurion said to the Lord Jesus, “I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes… Only speak a word, and my servant will be healed” (Matthew 8:9).
He understood something many of us can easily miss.
Authority flows from being under authority!
He recognized that the Lord Jesus operated under the Father, and because of that, creation itself responded to Him. Sickness obeyed. demons fled. Situations shifted. So, just speak the Word!
That is it, my sister! It is not noise that makes authority, it is alignment.
When Things Don’t Move
This is why there are situations where a woman may be praying, crying, asking God to intervene, yet nothing seems to move. It isn’t that God is unwilling, but there is disorder.
The Scriptures say, “God is not the author of confusion but of peace” (1 Corinthians 14:33).
Where there is resistance to God’s order, there is a limitation in spiritual authority.
If there is rebellion, dishonor, or refusal to yield, it creates a contradiction.
The life is asking God for intervention while resisting His ways. How will it work?
But when she comes under God’s authority, and from there honors every authority He has placed over her, her life becomes aligned.
Her heart is no longer fighting God’s order but agreeing with it.
And that agreement carries power.
A Life Backed by God
The Scriptures say, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you” (John 15:7).
And again, “The prayer of the upright is His delight” (Proverbs 15:8).
Now when she cries, heaven responds quickly.
When she calls, God answers.
The Scriptures say, “Before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear” (Isaiah 65:24).
When she speaks in prayer, it is no longer empty words. It is a life backed by God.
So when she stands against darkness, there is response.
The Scriptures say, “Resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
And again, “In My name they will cast out demons” (Mark 16:17).
This is not for those who are independent of God. This is for those who are yielded to Him.
The Kind of Woman She Becomes
So she becomes something uncommon.
Gentle like a dove; Soft like a lamb; but when she stands in prayer, she is a lion.
The Scriptures say, “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4).
Submission does not produce weakness. It produces authority. And that is what the Lord is looking for. Women with authority!
They are the only ones who can crush the heads of the serpent! The only ones who can build peaceful homes and raise fiery seeds!
They are the only ones who can make the home, the church, the society the way the Lord made it to be. And if there is orderliness, the Spirit is enthroned and the Devil is thrown out!
The Resistance to This Path
This is a path many do not want to walk in!
Because of fear.
Satan tells them ‘what if’s and they agree with him!
So, Satan keeps having a field day in their lives, marriages, health etc.
The Call
Will you rise, sis and trust Your Father?
Will you rise, sis, and trust your Father?
Will you silence the voice of “what if” and hold fast to what God has said?
The Scriptures say, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5–6).
You may not see the full picture. You may not understand every instruction. But the Scriptures say, “We walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).
So you choose to believe Him.
You choose to obey Him.
You choose to rest in Him.
Rise
So rise.
Take your place under God.
Walk in His design.
Embrace His order.
Trust His heart.
And watch what He will do.
