JUICY JULY 2025: ABBA FATHER

DAY 15: THOU WHO LEADETH JOSEPH AS A FLOCK

TEXT: PSALM 80:1-3

BIBLE STUDY: JOHN 15

ECHOES OF TRUTH

We are standing right at the middle of Juicy July 2025, fifteen days in, sixteen more to go. And for two full weeks, God has been actively at work. He has been teaching, through the exhortations, through moments of silence, through unexpected instructions, through inner restlessness, and deep convictions. He has been molding, pressing us into shapes our flesh never wanted, yet our spirit desperately needed. He has been breaking, breaking pride, breaking old thinking patterns, breaking self-sufficiency. And through all this, He has been revealing, unveiling things hidden, not just about Himself, but about ourselves.

This is what happens when a person yields herself to divine dealings. As 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image…” When your face remains open, no masks, no defense mechanisms, no pretending, you will begin to see the glory of God, and that glory will begin to transform you.

That is what has been happening if you have stayed sensitive. If you have not shut your heart to the whisperings of the Spirit, you would have started seeing beyond the letters on the page. You would have started feeling His eyes watching over you, hearing His feet walking through your inner temple.

How beautiful it is when the things of God begin to make sense to a soul. How precious it is when the Word of God starts to live in you, when your eyes tear up in prayer, out of a deep longing. That is when you know that the dealings of God are taking effect.

Is the Flame Still Weak?

But if that hasn’t happened for you yet, if spiritual things still feel like a burden, do not ignore the signs. If fifteen days into this endeavour, your heart still struggles to rise in worship, if your soul still craves entertainment more than the presence of God, if you feel more drawn to status and things than to purity and intimacy, then there’s no time to waste. This should be your turning point. It is time to cry for mercy.

You must be courageous enough to admit it: “Lord, I’m not burning. I’m still cold. I’m still distracted. I prefer the carnal to the spiritual. I love sleep more than prayer. I think more about my clothes and followers than about your holiness. Help me.”

This is not a time to defend your state or explain it away. It is a time to fall before the Refiner’s fire and say,

“Deal with my flesh. Deal with this self that keeps competing with You.”

OPENING PRAYER

Abba Father, we invite You into today’s session. Grant us Access, Abba! Take over. Take the whole atmosphere. Saturate this moment with Your presence, Lord. Break every chain, raise every weary heart, and fill us with Your fire again. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TESTIMONY

Sis, let us read through this testimony before we go any further:

I’m really grateful to God for how He started with me in this year’s Juicy July. The bulletins have been aligning with my needs spiritually. It’s like the more I pray, the more God shows me areas of my life that needs to be dealt with and surrendered to Him for pruning. I bless God for Mama Yaks and the Leadership of BUD Africa for yielding to God in this season.

First of, I really want to thank God for my marriage. I got married this year, how everything happened is a miracle cos the man God gave me is according to what I asked Him, even to the letter! I was in shock when everything unfolded that I felt like running away from it cos I thought I wasn’t ‘ready’. God is really intentional about His children! Don’t think He’s not listening to those conversations you have with Him concerning the man you want to marry, He is, trust me, He is! I can tell you this for free cos I’ve tasted it, I’m living it.

Right now, God has answered 3 of my requests and I’m trusting Him to reveal more to me on one of them that He has answered. A particular one I’m in awe of, is the one concerning my marriage. The first Saturday in July I acted very strange towards my husband that I was even afraid of myself. It was later I was reminded of my request(God reveal and heal me of every character flaw that will harm my marriage). This behaviour led me to pray sincerely and God dealt with me, really He did. It has brought my husband and I closer such that I’ve grown past the old self. Sometimes we don’t know how our prayers implicate us, Lastly, thank God for the help of His Spirit to pray and overcome the temptation to eat before praying. It has happened 3 times(if not more) now that I’ll feel serious hunger and the need to eat. When I start going through the bulletin and praying with it, I’ll see how powerful the prayers were and understand that the devil would have rubbed me of travailing light.

TESTIMONY PRAYERS

Shout ‘Halleluyah’ on behalf of our sister. Amen.

Our God is a wonder! Yours is just next in line! May God’s people rejoice at the sound of your testimony, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

Let’s take this moment to lift our voices with gratitude:

Thank You, Lord, for these testimonies. We give You ALL the glory. None belongs to us! Father, glorify Yourself even more in the life of the testifier in Jesus’ Name.

Now, say:

Oh Lord, don’t leave me out. Let me carry my own testimony with dancing from the beginning of Juicy July 2025 to the end and thereafter. Lord, may everyone praying in Juicy July 2025 have something tangible to show in Jesus Name. We receive it by faith in Jesus Name. Amen.

TRUST HIS HEART by Babbie Mason

AUDIO:

All things work for our good

Though sometimes we can’t

See how they could

Struggles that break our hearts in two

Sometimes blind us to the truth

Our Father knows what’s best for us

His ways are not our own

So when your pathway grows dim

And you just can’t see Him

Remember you’re never alone

God is too wise to be mistaken

God is too good to be unkind

So when you don’t understand

When don’t see His plan

When you can’t trace His hand

Trust His Heart

God is too wise to be mistaken

God is too good to be unkind

So when you don’t understand

When don’t see His plan

When you can’t trace His hand

EXHORTATION: THOU WHO LEADETH JOSEPH AS A FLOCK

God has many names. We call Him Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our Provider. Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our Healer. Jehovah Shalom, our Peace. Elohim, the Creator. El Shaddai, the Almighty.

Some know Him as the Lord of Hosts, others as the Most High. These names are true, powerful, and full of revelation. But in this journey we are on, the name that carries the deepest intimacy, the name that Jesus Himself constantly used, the name that is the sweetest on the lips of the truly led, is FATHER!

If you have been following the book of John with us in this season, you would have noticed something remarkable about how Jesus referred to God. Time and time again, He didn’t call Him “God.” He called Him “Father.” It was the title that defined their relationship, every action, every word, every prayer. And it was only in that one moment, when He hung on the cross, bearing the weight of our sin, and the Father turned His face away from Him, that Jesus said, “My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46). That was the only moment in all of Scripture when Jesus addressed the Father as simply “God.” Every other time, even in teaching and rebuke, it was always “Father.”

A Not-So-Popular Name of Fatherhood

Today, we are opening up to a not-so-common name of the Lord that flows from this posture of fatherhood. It is found in Psalm 80, where the Psalmist cries out, “Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, Thou who leadest Joseph like a flock…” (Psalm 80:1).

This is not one of the popular names we often pray with. But how powerful it is. It reveals the God who doesn’t just own the flock, but leads it. He leads Joseph, His beloved, as a shepherd leads sheep. With patience. With protection. With insight. With a rod and a staff.

And that, again, is the heart of a Father!

A true father leads. A father nurtures. A father cares for what is weak, fragile, or vulnerable. A father doesn’t exploit the sheep but defends them. He doesn’t rush the sheep, he guides them. He doesn’t scatter the sheep, he gathers them. That is the dimension of God we are dwelling on today. A God who leads not just generals, but Josephs. A God who shepherds the ones who may feel sold out, betrayed, confused, or forgotten. A Father who carries the responsibility of direction, covering, and preservation.

Let this name settle in your spirit, sisters: “Thou who leadeth Joseph as a flock.”

That is your Father. He is not distant. He is not cruel. He is a Shepherd. He is a Father. He is the one who leads you.

THOU WHO LEADETH JOSEPH AS A FLOCK

The Courage to Admit Foolishness

One thing that Juicy July has helped to uncover in many of us is the depth of our foolishness. If you have truly been participating with sincerity, if you have been allowing the Lord to probe your heart through the Word, through prayers, and through personal reflection, then perhaps you have started to see parts of your own foolishness.

And it is a good place to be. Because the beginning of wisdom is not in pretending that you are wise, but in acknowledging that you are not. So if there is one bold, maybe even frightening, prayer to pray today, it is this:

“Father, reveal my foolishness to me. Show me the gravity of Your wisdom. Help me to stop leaning on my own understanding. Show me how deeply I am nothing without You.”

Daughters Are Led

We have also come to see that one of the clearest evidences that you are a daughter of God is that you are led by Him. Romans 8:14 says, “As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” It is not being active in church, not being popular on Christian platforms, not even your consistency in devotionals. It is this: are you led? Are you led by the Spirit?

That is what today is all about. Saying, “Father, I see now. I can’t make any decision on my own. I have tried and failed. I have seen the results of self-leadership. And now, I come to You, my Father. I am not an orphan. I am not abandoned. I am not meant to wander through life clueless. I belong to You. Lead me.”

That is the cry of today. And it must come from a real place in your heart. In what aspect of your life do you need His leading? Don’t act like you know what to do. Ask. Let Him lead you. Say it boldly: “Father, in this area, lead me.”

Walking as True Daughters

Sisters, there comes a time in your life when you must ask yourself a real question: am I truly walking as a daughter of God, or am I just living like everyone else around me?

See, sis, the Christian life was never designed to be lived from a place of guesswork, confusion, or survival. There is a supernatural life available for daughters. A life of knowing. A life of walking in revelation. A life of divine alignment where nothing meets you by surprise. It is a life where every step you take was already spoken about in the secret place!!!!

One of the teachers God gave my life once said, “If you are truly someone of the Spirit, the season you are in now should be a place that the Lord led you to. You must have heard about it before. You must have seen it before.”

Those words have never left me. A real daughter does not just walk blindly into seasons. She enters into the very things her Father has shown her before time. He whispers things into her spirit. He drops visions, impressions, confirmations, sometimes even dreams and inner peace. And so, when the season comes, she recognizes it. She says, “Ah, this is what He was showing me.”

Think of your current stage of life. The location you are in. The relationships you have. The work you are doing. Did you hear from God about it? Did the Father lead you into it? Or did you simply stumble into it and are now trying to make it work? You see, this walk is meant to be deliberate. It is meant to be led. When you see a true daughter of God, there is a quiet assurance she carries. Why? Because she is walking in what the Father already revealed. She is walking on the path of leading.

Let me paint it with a few simple but powerful examples. A family is preparing to move houses, and instead of rushing to the next available apartment, they wait. They ask God: “Father, where do You want us to go?” And then He reveals it, sometimes with clarity, sometimes through repeated nudges. And they wait for that confirmation. One day, they walk into a place that isn’t even up for rent. They feel a pull. They sense peace. They ask questions. And somehow, the place opens up, just as He said. That’s leading!!

Or maybe it’s a visit to a car showroom. You’ve seen this car before, not physically, but in your spirit. You’ve seen the key. You’ve seen the color. You’ve seen yourself behind the wheel. And when you touch the one that is not yours, you know: “This is not it.” But when your hand lands on the one that is yours, your spirit leaps. That is how the Father leads. That is how daughters walk. There is no confusion. There is knowing. Not because they are smart, but because they are led.

That is how dominion is born. Daniel 11:32 says, “But the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Ayaaaa, sis! When you truly know your Father, your life becomes supernatural. You don’t just respond to life, you walk ahead of it. You don’t just receive surprises; you receive instructions. You don’t just adapt; you are positioned!!!!!

Sisters, I, I mean, I don’t want to just know God. I want to know Him real good. I want to be so intimate with the Father that my ears pick up even His whispers. That’s the life of a daughter. Not just a believer, not just a churchgoer, but a led one. And that is the invitation for today. Walk as a daughter. Ask for the grace to live that supernatural life of intimacy, of alignment, of leading.

Those Who Were Led

As you open the Scriptures carefully, you will notice that those who were truly great in the eyes of God were those who were led!!!

You don’t see divine impact apart from divine guidance in the Bible.

Let’s take Jesus for example. From the womb to the cross, His life was ordered by the Spirit of God. From being hidden in Egypt as a baby (Matthew 2:13), to stepping into public ministry at the exact time God appointed, to the moment of His death, Jesus was always in sync with the Father. He even said in John 5:19, “The Son can do nothing by Himself; He can do only what He sees His Father doing.” That is leading. That is divine precision. That is total surrender to the Father’s hand.

David is another example. The man after God’s own heart was a man who constantly inquired of the Lord. Before battles, he would ask, “Shall I go up?” (1 Samuel 23:2). He didn’t assume. He didn’t just attack. Even though he was a warrior, he was first a worshipper who trusted the Lord with his life.

He knew what it meant to shepherd because he had been a shepherd himself. He understood what it meant to gently guide a flock toward still waters and green pastures. So when he said in Psalm 23, “The Lord is my Shepherd,” it wasn’t just a poem, sis. It was experience. It was encounter. He had tasted divine leading and he trusted it.

He maketh me to lie down…

He leadeth me beside the…

He restoreth my soul….

He leadeth me in the paths of….

But look at that twist in the same psalm. “Yea, though I WALK through the valley of the shadow of death…”!!!

That wasn’t the Lord’s doing. It was David’s own walking. He didn’t say, “Though He leads me,” he said, “Though I walk.” A clear distinction. That moment was birthed by David’s own leading, not the Lord’s. And it cost him.

But thank God mercy still found him there. Grace still located him. But let’s not be quick to forget that the valley is the best result our own leading can offer us!

The best your intellect can give you is the shadow of death!

The most your instincts can offer is wandering in valleys!

But when the Lord leads, He makes you. He restores you. He guides you in paths of righteousness. That’s what He does. That’s who He is.

The Shepherd Who Led Joseph

And that brings us to Joseph. That young boy with dreams. That favored child whose entire life looked like a contradiction to the promise. He was sold. Betrayed. Lied against. Imprisoned. Forgotten. Everything seemed out of control. But then comes Psalm 80:1 and you see the name of God that explains it all: “Thou who leadest Joseph like a flock.” That changes everything. It tells us clearly that God was in the story all along.

Joseph’s life wasn’t spiraling disorientately. It actually was unfolding. The hands of his brothers that stripped him of his coat were not stronger than the hands of the God who had clothed him with destiny. The journey to Egypt wasn’t a detour but a direction. Potiphar’s house wasn’t a punishment but a preparation. The prison wasn’t a burial but the birthing ground for what was ahead. God was leading him as a shepherd leads his flock, patiently, carefully, lovingly, even when the terrain was rough and the path unclear.

And sometimes, like Joseph, we miss it in the moment. Because being led doesn’t always feel like being loved. Sometimes it feels like abandonment. Sometimes it looks like betrayal. But the truth remains, our Father is still leading. That dream Joseph had as a teenager, the one the enemy tried to silence, was actually being fulfilled step by step through the very chaos the devil orchestrated. What Satan meant for evil, God used for good (Genesis 50:20). And that’s how our Father works.

He That Dwellest Between the Cherubim

One of the most powerful and awe-inspiring names of our God that I have come to love is the next to the one we’ve been considering: “Thou that dwellest between the cherubim, shine forth” (Psalm 80:1).

What a weight! Oh my! This reveals to us the positioning, presence, and authority of our Father. The Lord chose to place His glory, His voice, and His presence between the cherubim atop the mercy seat, the very place where blood was poured once a year by the high priest on the Day of Atonement. Two cherubim with their wings stretched upward and inward faced each other, and in that space, between mercy and reverence, glory would descend!

That picture is the pattern of intimacy. The place of the mercy seat is the place of communion. It is where the leading of the Lord becomes clear. It is where light breaks forth. In ancient Israel, when the high priest came in with the blood of the spotless animal and poured it between the cherubim, something supernatural happened. The glory would fall. The Lord would respond.

The Urim and Thummim were sacred objects used by the High Priest in the Old Testament to seek God’s guidance.

The Urim and Thummim were two special things God gave to the High Priest, kind of like holy lights or stones, and they were kept inside a little pocket on the priest’s clothes. When someone needed to ask God a really big question, the priest would use them to help get an answer.

It’s like when you’re playing a game and you ask, “Should I go left or right?”, and then a special light shines to say “yes” or “no.” That’s how God helped His people know what to do a long time ago. He used the Urim and Thummim to show His answer.

When a serious matter was brought before the Lord, such as a national decision, the stones would respond with divine light, supernaturally glowing or indicating God’s answer. This was one way God led His people clearly.

This was before the blood of Jesus. How much more now, with the true blood having been poured, do we have access to that same presence, to that same glory, to that same leading?

Hebrews 10:19 boldly declares, “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus…” This is our reality now. You, dear daughter of God, are not outside the veil. You can enter. You can come before the One who dwells between the cherubim and say, “Shine forth. Lead me.”

What a cry that is: Shine forth. Make decisions for me. Order my steps. Help me know what job to take, who to marry, which door to walk through, where to serve. I have no wisdom of my own. I cannot make sense of life without your voice. I don’t even trust my desires anymore. I trust Yours.

The Cry of the Foolish Daughter

And that is our posture today. Not of strength. Not of pride. But of surrender. “Daddy, I am foolish.” That’s where leading begins, where we acknowledge that we are nothing without Him.

In 1 Corinthians 1:25, the Bible reminds us that the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of men. So how dare we trust our intellect over His instructions? Left to ourselves, our choices will lead us to repeated cycles of frustration and dryness. Our intellect, our emotion, our culture, our fearsz none of these make good shepherds. But He does. He leads Joseph like a flock. He knows the terrain. He sees the wolves. He knows the green pastures. He knows the times and seasons. And if we will be still enough, surrendered enough, we too can be led.

So today, we pray. “Father, arise and shine forth. Show me the way. I surrender my plans. I repent for the times I led myself. I thought I was wise. I thought I was strong. But I realize now, I am not. I am only safe when I am led. Help me stay with You until You speak. Help me trust Your silence until You show the way. Lead me out of my valleys. Restore what I’ve lost. Unfold Your plan. Order my life”

The Major Areas of Our Lives Where We Need to Be Led

One of the lies the enemy subtly whispers into the ears of many daughters of God is that we only need to be led by God in spiritual matters, like ministry or evangelism. But the truth is, there is no compartment of your life that does not require divine leadership. Every corner. Every step. Every turn. God wants to be involved. He wants to lead you, not just in church, but in the living room, in the market, in the school, in the office, in your kitchen, in your relationships, in your decisions, and even in your emotions.

When we talk about God being our Shepherd, we are not talking about a distant Father who only shows up in prayer vigils. We are talking about a present Father who wants to hold our hands in every area of life.

Let us look at some major areas where we must be led:

1. Marital Decisions

There is no area where destinies have been most shipwrecked like this one. Choosing whom to marry is not a decision you make based on feelings, compatibility tests, or societal timelines. It is spiritual. It is prophetic. It is warfare. Proverbs 19:14 says, “Houses and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the Lord.” If a prudent wife comes from the Lord, then certainly a husband should too. Your marriage must be the product of divine leading. A daughter of God does not stumble into marriage. She is led. She hears. She confirms. She waits. She prays. She aligns. And when He leads, she follows. There are too many women today crying tears that should have been avoided, if only they had waited to be led!!!

2. Career and Life’s Work

Many people choose their careers based on pay, prestige, or what their parents desire. But what if God had a different plan? What if He wants you to be a light in a field you’re avoiding? What if your assignment is in the mission field or the classroom or the boardroom? Jesus said in John 4:34, “My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” This is our model. True fulfillment comes only from doing what He sent you to do, not just what looks profitable. And sometimes, He may place you in something that doesn’t look like much, only to train and launch you from there. If Joseph had tried to avoid Potiphar’s house or the prison, he would have missed the throne!

3. Friendship and Association

Every friend you allow into your circle either waters your destiny or pulls it into weeds. Proverbs 13:20 says, “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”

The wrong voice in your ear can become the voice of Satan in disguise, just as Peter unknowingly became when he told Jesus not to go to the cross, thank God Jesus was discerning. God wants to lead you in choosing friends. He wants to instruct you on who to open your heart to and who to love from afar. Some people are in battles they were never meant to fight, simply because of a wrong connection. If He leads you, even your friends will be divine reinforcements to your destiny.

4. Church and Spiritual Covering

You don’t just attend the nearest church because it’s close or lively. You attend where God plants you. Psalm 92:13 says, “Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.” God leads His daughters to spiritual families and coverings that align with their call, their burdens, and their assignments. Many are dry spiritually because they are rooted in a soil God never ordained. Your church must be a place where the Word of God is alive, where your spirit is sharpened, where your gifts are stirred, and where your spiritual growth is supervised. Same with the books you read, mentors/coaches/counsellors l, YouTube channels, prayer meetings online, offline etc

5. Finances and Resources

It is very possible to give generously and still be disobedient. The fact that it is a good thing to do doesn’t mean it’s what God is asking you to do at that time. God wants to lead you in how you spend, where you invest, when to save, and what to give. Proverbs 3:9 says, “Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.” That honour comes through obedience. Sometimes, He will ask you to sow. Other times, He will ask you to wait. His instructions carry harvest, but they also test your heart. Many people have lost their financial stability not because God didn’t want to bless them, but because they refused to be led.

6. Location and Timing

Where you are is just as important as what you do. And when you do something is just as important as doing it!!!

God led Elijah to specific places at specific times. The ravens fed him at the brook because God said so. But when the brook dried, he had to move. If he stayed, he would have died in the place of yesterday’s instruction!!!

Some of us are where God once asked us to be, but we didn’t hear when He said move. Or we moved before He spoke. Ask God: Should I still be here? Is this still my season in this location? Joseph could not sit in Canaan to fulfill his dream. The throne was in Egypt. He had to be led there!!!

MINOR, OVERLOOKED AREAS WHERE WE NEED LEADING

I don’t want to assume that you already got my point of being led in every every. So, here is a long list of minor, often overlooked areas of life where we absolutely need God’s leading, even though we may not realize it:

  • Choosing whether or not to read a popular book

  • Deciding if a trending worship song is for you

  • Knowing who to follow or unfollow on social media

  • Making food stretch creatively at home

  • Planning meals for your family’s health and season

  • Choosing the right perfume/cream for the day

  • Picking a hairstyle that reflects modesty, femininity and grace

  • Selecting the right dress for an outing

  • Deciding which WhatsApp status or post to upload

  • Knowing how to respond to voice notes or messages

  • Choosing when to sleep and when to wake

  • Picking what time to pray in a day

  • Deciding whether to visit someone or stay back

  • Choosing what snack to give your children

  • How to greet someone who once hurt you

  • Whether to borrow or lend money

  • Picking out gifts for birthdays and anniversaries

  • Choosing the right home décor or color scheme

  • Deciding how to relate with in-laws

  • Knowing the time to speak to your husband about a matter

  • Choosing the right friend to open up to or not.

  • Knowing whether to talk or keep quiet in a quarrel

  • Choosing how to decorate the children’s room

  • Picking what game to allow your child play

  • Deciding which part of the house to clean first

  • Picking what Bible passage to study that day

  • Knowing the best way the Lord would have you discipline ypu child

  • Deciding when to reply a DM

  • Knowing whether to help someone financially

  • Choosing what to do with extra airtime or data

  • Picking what to watch on YouTube

  • Knowing how to comfort a grieving friend

  • Choosing what to allow the kids watch

  • Knowing what tone to use in a conversation

  • Picking what scripture to send to someone

  • Choosing which route to take to a destination

  • Picking whether to confront someone or wait

  • Deciding whether to attend that online meeting
  • Picking what podcast to listen to on a walk

  • Deciding whether to sign up for a course or not

  • Knowing how to welcome your husband home
  • Picking what time to have intimacy in marriage

  • Deciding whether to correct someone or leave it to God

  • Choosing how to position your bed or couch

  • Picking what drink or water bottle to buy

  • Deciding whether to change your child’s school and where?

  • Choosing what facial product to use

  • Knowing what to cook when a guest shows up

  • Choosing whether or not to join that group on Telegram

  • Deciding what story to share during evangelism

  • Picking whether or not to like a post on social media

Every decision, no matter how small it may seem, can have spiritual weight. That is why we lean on the Shepherd. A favorite hymn says:

All your anxiety, all your care,
Bring to the mercy seat, leave it there,
Never a burden He cannot bear,
Never a friend like Jesus!

The Danger of Living Unled

There is a real and tragic danger in choosing to live an unled life. Scripture and experience testify to this truth: man, when left to himself, goes astray!!

Proverbs 14:12 tells us, “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” This is not just about spiritual death; it is a warning about the destruction of destinies, the loss of time, and the misplacement of divine assignments.

When a man walks without divine leading, he may appear to be progressing, but in truth, he is journeying far from alignment. He may be applauded by men while being mourned in heaven.

The very beginning of man’s fall was tied to a rejection of divine leading. God said, “Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it…” (Genesis 2:16–17). Yet Adam and Eve decided to lead themselves based on sight, appetite, and suggestion. What followed was not pleasure but shame, not clarity but confusion, not dominion but disaster.

The moment man steps away from divine guidance, he enters into an environment of guesses and gambles, exposed to satanic manipulation and errors that can cost him decades.

The story of King Saul is another tragic example. In 1 Samuel 13, Saul was instructed to wait for the prophet Samuel before making a burnt offering. But in impatience and pressure, he led himself. His action may have seemed religious and reasonable, but it was rebellion cloaked in zeal. God’s response was immediate and grievous: “The Lord hath sought him a man after his own heart” (1 Samuel 13:14). That is what the unled life costs him- replacement!!!! When a man refuses to be led, he is not simply stagnated; he is replaced.

David, on the other hand, though he made many mistakes, was still called “a man after God’s own heart” (Acts 13:22) because he desired and valued divine guidance. Even when he was to go into battle, he would still ask, “Shall I pursue?” He knew that victory in the kingdom is not always based on experience, strength, or previous success but on instruction. Without divine instruction, even past victories can become future casualties.

Living unled is dangerous because it will always lead to a form of self-destruction. A person may choose a marriage, a job, a location, a friend, a habit, or a moment of pleasure without being led, and that single decision could open a gate of long-term pain.

Even spiritual activities that seem noble, fasting, giving, preaching, or choosing a church, can become strange fire if not born of God’s breath. The Holy Spirit is not a decoration to our Christianity, sis. He is the compass without which we will surely drift!!!

The unled life is costly. It is full of regrets, reboots, returns, and waste. It turns kings into beggars and sons into orphans. It causes people to miss divine timings and ignore divine alarms. It is the reason many die full of potential and empty of impact. And that is why we must cry out like David did in Psalm 143:10: “Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy Spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.”

To be led is a privilege. To live unled is a danger. Choose wisely. Let Him lead. He who led Joseph as a flock is still leading today.

DEAD ON ARRIVAL

STIRRING THE WATERS

Dear sister, it is that special moment. 10 good minutes of stirring the waters, of praying in the Holy Ghost. Please gladly take this short pause. Let the instrumental below play and just stir. Don’t rush this. Pray in the Spirit. Abba to Daughter. Spirit to Spirit.

And if you haven’t received the gift of the Holy Spirit yet? This is YOUR TIME! Cry out to Abba:  “Father, fill me! Baptize me! Immerse me in Your Spirit! I need You for life, Holy Spirit, come. Baptize me with the Holy Ghost and Father, please grant me another pentecost in Jesus Name”

Let’s start stirring.

TAKE CHARGE

We are daughters, let’s take charge over the territories where we are represented right now.

Father, by Your mighty Name, I sanctify my body, my home, and my atmosphere right now. I cover myself with the blood of Jesus (Revelation 12:11) and declare every strange spirit, every demonic stronghold, to flee by fire (Psalm 34:7). I cleanse this place and myself from every trace of darkness (2 Corinthians 6:17). Let Your Holy Spirit fill this space and my life with Your perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). I take authority as Your beloved daughter and refuse to be moved. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

START PRAYING

Sis, if you’ve ever prayed before, now is the time to turn it up! You’re not here to joke.

  • Father, protect my marriage from every enemy attack, from strife, misunderstanding, and bitterness. Lead me to forgiveness and reconciliation where needed. Let Your peace guard my heart and my home.
  • Holy Spirit, when I face moments of overwhelm, exhaustion, or discouragement, remind me that Your grace is sufficient. Renew my strength and lead me into rest and restoration.

PRAYERS FOR LEADING IN RELOCATION, SETTLING DOWN, PURCHASES, AND INVESTMENTS

  • Oh Lord my God, You are the God of times and seasons, lead me into the right place, at the right time, with the right purpose, in the name of Jesus.
  • Abba, I refuse to relocate outside Your will. No matter how beautiful the land looks, if You’re not there, I will not go. Guide me by Your Spirit.

  • Oh Lord, ignite in me a desire to be led every moment. May I not grow familiar with Your presence.
  • Let my life be a living proof of what it means to follow the Shepherd. Lead me, Lord, and I will follow.

NOW DECLARE!

I declare that the Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want for direction. I shall not lack clarity. I shall not grope in darkness. I shall not be stranded in life.

I declare that I am not fatherless. I am not an orphan. I am not unloved. I have a Shepherd who leads me beside still waters and into green pastures. He restores my soul and leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

I declare that my life shall not be a sum total of trial and error. My steps are ordered by the Lord. I will not marry wrongly. I will not relocate wrongly. I will not invest wrongly. I will not partner wrongly. I will not study wrongly. I will not plant my feet in wrong soil.

I declare that the voice of God is not scarce in my life. I will hear a voice behind me saying, “This is the way, walk ye in it.” I am led by the Spirit of God; therefore I am a daughter of God.

I declare that I have the mind of Christ. I do not live by emotions, feelings, or suggestions. I live by the breath of the Spirit. My ears are open. My heart is receptive. My flesh is silenced. My soul is yielded.

I declare that I will not be manipulated by the devil. I will not be tricked into a future God has not ordained. I will not be emotionally blackmailed into destiny errors. I will not fall for good-looking traps. I choose the will of God, even when it looks hard.

I declare that just as Joseph was led through pits, prisons and pain into glory, every step of my journey shall be wrapped in divine wisdom. Even when I do not understand, I will still follow.

I declare that the spirit of dependence is at work in me. I will not be wise in my own eyes. I will acknowledge the Lord in all my ways. And He shall direct my paths.

I declare that I shall not lean on human logic, on mentors, on friends, or on instincts above the Holy Spirit. I receive the oil of direction. I receive the fire of discernment. I receive the wine of divine guidance.

I declare that I live a life of accuracy. A life of divine timings. A life of prophetic alignment. My feet walk the path that the Lord has written concerning me before the foundations of the world.

I declare that I am not confused. I am not afraid. I am not hasty. I am not indecisive. The Spirit of the Lord leads me with power and precision. The Shepherd of Israel goes before me.

And I declare, finally, that I will not die in confusion. I will not die in regret. I will not die in rebellion. I will live a life of joyful following, intimate surrender, and glorious fulfilment, because the Lord leads me as He led Joseph, like a flock.

In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

STANDING IN THE GAP

Now, please intercede. Stand in the gap for others. Take these as if they were yours:

ONE: 1. I have a brother who is truly a child of God, but since the beginning of this year, things have not really been going well with him especially in his finances and he has a lot of things to cover financially, but the means are not available. I want my sisters to pray for him that God will provide a better paying job for him, as he has applied for a lot, and that God will open His door of abundance upon him, provisions that he would have no other words than to glory God for coming through.

2. Of recent, my Mum was sick that she was immediately placed on drip, the attending nurse said all was good, just that she was short on blood, though she’s much better now, I want my sisters to pray for her that God will perfect His healing in her life and there would be no reason whatsoever for her to fall sick again.

TWO:1. I pray that God will grant me a supernatural childbirth. I want to give birth like the Hebrew women.
2. I pray that God will help us clear our financial debts and also God should give my husband a good job that will give him time for his ministry, family and also himself. I desire that God will raise men to attend to our financial needs.
3. Sisters I want you to help me pray for my elder sister, the devil is really fighting against her, help me pray that all the plans of the enemy against her life should be destroyed and also Gid should settle her maritally and also make her return to the faith of her father and turn from every worldly life.

THREE:Good day sisters. Please I want you all to join me in prayers concerning the following issues:
1. I applied for a job at OAU, let me be given the job. Let the working environment also be conducive for me. Let the job not take me from God but closer to God.
2. I also want God to heal my mum of dizziness, ulcer. She almost can’t eat anything without being scared whether it would eventually trouble her or not. I want God to take her to a place where she can beans and many other good foods without trouble.
3. I also need God to heal me of forgetfulness absentmindedness. Sometimes, it’s just like my memory is wiped of. I need help.
4. I also need God to show my dad mercy. God should sharpen his spiritual vision, and help him to be a better husband, father and leader.

FOUR: I am praying that the Lord grants my brother, Samuel, an angelic encounter. He has made several regrettable choices that have brought reproach to our family. My father is deeply hurt and once considered disowning him. IMay the Lord do a genuine work of salvation in his live. I ask that God touches my father’s heart, heals the wounds in our home, and restores peace and unity in our family.

I also pray for my other siblings, who currently attend church out of routine. May the Lord do a genuine work of salvation in their lives and draw them into a personal relationship with Him.

I lift up my brother, Faith, before the Lord. May God remember him, favour him, and guide him in establishing his company successfully. I also ask that God settles him maritally and grants him peace and joy in his personal life.

As for me, I am trusting God for a good remote job, divine favour in my upcoming exams, and supernatural help in every area of my life. I ask the Lord to bless me with vision, strategy, wisdom, clarity, favour, the right environment, and the right people to fulfill His purpose for my life.
