DAY 17: NIGERIA, BE HEALED!

TEXT: 1 CHRONICLES 7:14

BIBLE READING: ISAIAH 64:1-12

Welcome to day 17, sisters. We have been through this for the past 16 days, God has been our help and stay, it’s my prayer that He will see us through in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Today, we will be carving out answers and solutions for our nation, Nigeria.

I know we are not all Nigerians. I know, sisters, so, just pray for your own country also and also help pray for our Fatherland also. Thank you.

Sisters, this is our land, and anything that happens in it affects us one way or the other, whether directly or indirectly.

Sisters, let’s be sincere with ourselves, Nigeria is sick!

It was known as the giant of Africa but ehn, if you know where Nigeria stands now, we need God’s mercy!!!

How can we children of God be in the land and terrible things would be happening like this?

How?

The kidnapping and the abductions, have they touched your heart yet?

Kidnappers now raid schools to carry many students and pupils, there’s nobody to touch them!

Gunmen kill a lot of people every now and then.

Civil wars threaten all over the regions of Nigeria!

Where shall we turn to???

Who do we have, if not God?

Have you been to the market lately??? That’s another tale!

Nigerians are sad!

Many businesses have failed!!

Many people have the sicknesses of the heart now because of worry, overthinking and anxiety!

That it has not reached your side, doesn’t mean it’s not happening. Aren’t you going to pray, sisters?

The convenience of a bird, depends on the convenience of the tree!

We can’t keep folding our arms, we can’t keep giving the enemy chance over us. We need shun the enemy and let him know that “enough is enough”.

We know our authority in Christ, we have got the power to pull down and raise up with the words of our mouths like we learnt on days 1, 11 and 12.

Let’s see Isaiah 60:18:

*Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.*

Absence of violence depicts *PEACE!*

When there’s peace in our land, there would be peace in our vicinities, there would be peace in the church, and there would be peace in our home and lives at large.

We seriously need peace in our land. Our land is thirsty, she needs to drink from the well of life.

Quickly see God’s promises to us in Isaiah 35:7:

*And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water…*

*Isaiah 41:18…ย  I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.*

He said, our land will no more be thirsty, but will become springs of water… You know what that means? I will tell you!

Nigeria shall burst out with water and water means life. One can’t do without water for too long.

BUD, all deadness and lifelessness are gone niyen oo. Every dead situation would begin to resuscitate too. Hopes become restored. All those who have given up on Nigeria begin to turn to her for help. That’s when God steps into the situation!

I’m few minutes, pray this with aggression.

*“Fatherrrrr! Step into the situation of Nigeria. Restore and revival us again!!! “*

You see, a once giant of Africa has been relinquished. Why? Because things have gone wrong somewhere.

Yes, we cannot give up at this point. Therefore, it’s our responsibility to call forth our greatness again. We want to be relevant again… Like we prayed on day 13.

Come with me…

*Isaiah 62:4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.*

God’s promises are in the Bible for us to key into, but before we can do that, we have to work in the light of those promises.

Before our land can be called Beulah, the Lord must delight in us. We must follow His steps and precepts. Sin must be far from us. We must forsake what angers God. He hates sin.

*Numbers 14:8 If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.*

See again, there’s a condition here, “if”.

The word “delight” again!

If He delights in us, He will make our land flow with “milk and honey”.

It means sweetness, richness, abundance, plenteousness, etc.

The Lord says “… prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

*Psalms 85:6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?*

Revival our land, Lord!
Restore our land, Lord!
Replenish our land, Lord!
Resuscitate our land, Lord!
Renew our land, Lord!
Pass through our land, Lord!
Heal our land, Lord!

Sing this song passionately and zealously till you’re led to move on!

La ile wa koja (pass through our land)
Kaye wa koni yanju (so that our lives can be sorted out)
La ile wa koja (pass through our land)
Kaye wa koni itumo (so that our lives can be meaningful)
Oba toni le (Lord, the Owner of our land)
Wa la ile wa koja (please pass through our land)

We need to pray for our country!

Sisters, are you ready????

OUR LAND IS BLESSED, WE DECLARE! AMEN.

Let’s begin to worship the Lord for His goodness and tender mercies.

Bless His holy name. Thank Him for how far He has brought us in this juicy July.

Thank for His strength and stay!

Thank Him for our blessed land, for what He has done and for what He will do for us.

Let’s begin to ask God to show us mercy. That His mercy will prevail over judgment.

2 Chronicles 7:14- If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Lift up your hands to the heavens as we begin to plead for God’s mercy over our land.

Every sin committed, let’s ask the Lord to forgive us and blot out our transgressions.

A leader’s sin is a leading sin.

Every sin our leaders, forefathers and predecessors have committed that’s affecting our fruitful yield, Lord show mercy and forgive us.

As one, we begin to plead the blood of Jesus over our land. To every nook and cranny in this land, we plead the blood of Jesus. (Continues to ask for the Blood of Jesus over Nigeria right now)

Every evil powers operating in the affairs of this Nation, hear the word of the Lord, loose your grip in the mighty name of Jesus! (Declare seven times)

Lord, come and rule and reign in the affairs of our land.

All powers seated in the place of authority over our land, we dethrone you this day in the most precious name of Jesus.

Jesus, come and take your place in our land.

All our leaders putting us in trouble, oh Lord cause them to change their ways. If they fail to repent, Lord overthrow them by Your mercies in the Name of Jesus!

Because we trust in the Lord, and we are children of the King. We refuse to keep living like paupers and beggars. (Declare your lot)

It’s our right to eat the good of the land. We decree that Nigeria begins to emit goodness.

Nigeria, begin to emit goodness in the Name of Jesus!!!

Every cloud of darkness hovering over this Nation, clear off right now in Jesus’name.

Oh Father, let Your heavens be opened over us in this Nation.

As a citizen of this country, my blood will not be shed either by abduction, accident, stray bullets, robbery and other ways in the Name of Jesus.

Nigeria, I will live on you and prosper!!!

Nigeria, my family and I live in you and no arm will befall us!

My blood and that of my family will not be used to appease you, oh Nigeria in the Name of Jesus!!

The good Nigeria that is about to here, I will live to experience it!!!

Nigeria, you’d be an eternal excellency again!

People and governments all over the world will come to Your light oh Nigeria!!! In the Mighty Name of Jesus!

All my rights and privileges in Nigeria, I call you forth, come to me now in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

(Continue to pray as led)

Sing this song if you know it :

Orile ede wa oo (Our Nation)
Bere si ni serere (Begin to prosper)
Ni gusu (From the North)
Ariwa (To the South)
Ila orun (To the West)
Iwo orun (To the East)
Gboro Oluwa (Hear the word of the Lord)
Serere oooo (I declare prosperity over you)

As we round off for today, we sing our second song. *My Nigeria by Victoria Orenze.* Sing it prayerfully and prophetically.

Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
