DAY 18 : REPOSITION ME OH LORD
TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 1 : 1-8, GENESIS 41, PSALM 71:21
BIBLE READING : PSALM 46.
Sisters in the Lord, it is with great joy that I welcome you to the 18th day of our Juicy July. From day 1 it’s been amazing and I know that our lives will never remain the same again.
Do you believe?
It shall be so in the Name of Jesus.
Some sisters have started seeing the results of their prayers,while for some, it’s like why am I even praying?
Let me assure you beloved sisters that even when you can’t feel it nor see it, God is working something out for you, He never stops working. He may not answer you the way you want it, but when He shows up, His own answer is the best you could ever get.
Isaiah 55:8-9 : “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.)

Now to the topic of today – REPOSITION ME OH LORD!
Everyone is created for a purpose. You need to be located in a particular place, church and career to enable you fulfill destiny. Many people are not properly positioned and the direction they are going is against the current for fulfilling destiny.
To reposition is to change position or direction. God has always been in the business of changing position and direction for the better. God is prepared to change your position and direction. Are you ready?
Repositioning is necessary when:
-You are poorly positioned
– You are not improving in all areas
– There is no clarity of purpose
-There is no alignment between your action and your purpose
-There is a gap between where you are and where God want you to be
– God desires quality service from His people
– The re-positioning will bring honor and glory to Him
– The divine destiny of His chosen children as designed by Him is threatened.
– You are under afflictions that defy solution even after serious and genuine spiritual effort
– You are living in fear of your environment as did Jacob in the land of Shechem
– You see destruction in your environment instead of deliverance
– You see death in your environment instead of life
– You encounter constant failure in your environment instead of success and progress
– You are not happy where you are, even after serious and genuine spiritual effort.
LET’S LOOK AT SOME TYPES OF POSITIONINGS:
GEOGRAPHIC POSITIONING: There is a location designed by God for you to have the most fulfillment, success, happiness and productivity.
A position by location, will either put you at advantage or disadvantage, will give you either a clearer vision or narrower vision or blurred one.
You are tied to such position and such position is tied to your life. This position can be by location, status, inheritance profession, position by acceptance or forced on you, by volition or circumstances.
The question is what or where are you positioned?
Will this position locate or dislocate you?
Is this position advancing your destiny or destroying it?
2. POSITIONING BY BIRTH/INHERITANCE
Acts 3:2
And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple.
Where are you placed or positioned by birth or inheritance?
What did you inherit that is today ruling, controlling, or determining the course of your living?
Is the family history saying diabetes, sickle cell anemia, abnormal or strange behaviors, phobia traits or genetic aberration.
Is every body in the family prone to hot temper or losing temper that will always result in regrets, drop outs, unusual occurrences? cycles of poverty and failures? Etc.
This man in Acts 3:2 was born lame from birth! Lameness was his own birth right!
He was placed outside the temple at the beautiful gate but there was nothing beautiful about his life anyway.
He stayed outside the temple until his life was repositioned by the commanding faith of Peter and John and the compelling faith of this disadvantaged man.
Also in Acts 14: 8 another man was born a cripple. God didn’t create him that way but somehow something interfered and passed on such fate to him.
Is you language like, ‘I was born with it?” Yes, but you don’t have to live with it.
No matter your position there is a God of divine repositioning
A right positioning and plugging in of a compelling faith in the truth of the Word will provoke the force of a commanding faith that will unplug the negative fate you acquired by inheritance or otherwise in the Name of Jesus!
POSITION BY SICKNESS: 2 King 5:1
Naaman was a great man with his master (employer) and honorable, because by him the Lord has given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man of Valor, but he was a LEPER.
Naaman was great and honorable, a deliverer but couldn’t deliver himself. A mighty man of valor.
What a credential!
But his life was punctuated by leprosy. A play of honor and dishonor.
POSITION BY A CURSE/MANIPULATION: 2 Kings 5:27
The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed forever. And he went out of his presence a Leper as white as snow.
You see what greed had caused even the unborn generations of Gehazi? There is always a reason for a curse to abide.
The curse causeless shall not come (Prov. 26:2)
People are also manipulated into positions or manipulated out of position!
Where you are now, how did you get there? By design or by error? By witchcraft or divine enablement, by merit or maneuver?
For Gehazi and people like him they can reposition themselves in repentance and correct the anomaly
“but the Lord thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee’. (Deut. 23:5B)
POSITION BY RACE, TRIBE, OR COMPLEXION: Acts 21:39
I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city. Suffer me to speak unto the People.
Your race, tribe, complexion or even language can place you into a position. White or black, low class or high class etc.
Your being heard in society can be tied to your tribe or race or complexion.
Looking into the world as a whole you’ll see these features play a part in shaping people’s destinies.
Paul was denied audience but telling them where he came from, opened the way.
Some people are born to rule and they call them royal family. That is to say others are born to be ruled.
Some people can enter some places not because they earned it but because of their color or race or name or language.
POSITION BY ASSOCIATION
Some people by association have been positioned to carry and live under another person’s deserving yoke or curse perpetually. Some are tied to a position simply their friends are there.
POSITIONING BY CIRCUMSTANCE OR ENVIRONMENT
In some environment or community you discover everybody has developed a particular character or behavior or lifestyle. They are positioned into a pattern of living by dint of their living there.
Also circumstance can give someone a permanent seat or controlling position.
Have you seen some people in a particular environment being branded a general kind of name though from different background, status, profession but they seem to flow along together?
WHAT CAN BE REPOSITIONED?
Your marital destiny can be re-positioned- if you want and pray for it
You can be re-positioned financially
Your ministry can be re-positioned.
You can be re-positioned academically
Your destiny can be repositioned
Your career can be repositioned
Examples from the Bible:
Abraham:
From barren to fruitful man
From failure to success
“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country and from thy kindred, and from thy Father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee”:
Genesis 12:1 (KJV)
Abraham would have died without being the father of faith, if he had remained in Haran.
The Scripture tells us that his wife was barren and he was already old and his father died there. He would have remained there, but thank God he did not. God repositioned him and his wife. He called them out the Ur of the Chaldees. Get thee out…. And I will bless thee, and make thy name great… (Genesis 12:1-2) .
Abraham had to be separated from his family in order to be positioned for what God had planned and purposed to do in his life.
You might need to depart from certain things that hinder you. Some of you need to give up certain habits. Some of you need to cut off from friends who are not enhancing your progress. There are places you go to that you need to stop going and there are people you hang around with that you need to stop hanging around with.
There are some of you who have to depart from tradition. You are going to church, but you are tied to family tradition. You are wrongly positioned. You need to reposition yourself.
The Bible says….. Come out from among them and be ye separate (2Corinthians6:17 KJV)
You are not the same with them. You have already changed location by becoming a Christian.
If any man be in Christ, He is a new creature… (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV) . You cannot be in Christ and still be in tradition.
Your folks will tell you: “When you get to church, you do church own. “When you get to village, you do village own” Nothing like that! It is either God’s way or you are not doing it at all.
Only God’s way is successful. “Except the Lord build the house they labour in vain that builds it, except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain”. (Psalm 127:1 KJV).
What God is not building will not last. It is important therefore, that you come out from the things you do in secret.
Come out from the things you have involved yourself in. God wants to reposition you for your next level. You cannot say you are serving God and you are still going to a herbalist. You cannot do that! You must come out.
Abraham departed and the rest is history. When he moved out in obedience to God’s word, things began to happen in his life. That shall be your portion in Jesus name.
JACOB:Genesis 35:1-7.
The re-positioning of Jacob and his household from Shechem to Bethel was a divine one.
Gen 35:1 And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.
God told Jacob to move away from Shechem to Bethel and live there. The immediate decisions taken by Jacob, show that he heard God clearly. And he did not waste the opportunity.
It is clear here that God did not tell Jacob the details of his journey from Shechem to Bethel. God did not tell him of the kinds of problem he would encounter on his way to Bethel. There was no in-between instruction. But Jacob took some strange decisions.
Gen 35:2 Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garment.
Gen 35:3 And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.
Gen 35:4 And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.
The question one may ask here is that why did Jacob take such decisions?
Jacob knew God as a jealous God who will not share His glory with strange gods.
Jacob knew God as clean and Holy God.
Jacob knew that he had not positioned himself well with God to enjoy His divine protection on his way to Bethel.
The result of the drastic decisions taken by Jacob was awesome.
Gen 35:5 And they journeyed: and the terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.
Gen 35:6 So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Bethel, he and all the people that were with him.
The above verses show that there were hostile nations on the route to Bethel. But they could not come against Jacob and his household, for he has redeemed the time. God did assign His angels to encamped round about them.
A believer must have sound knowledge of God’s words and know God through His words as to escape the snare of the devil in making him to do contrary to His will.
Gen 35:7 And he built there an altar, and called the place El-bethel: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.
The main purpose of God re-positioning Jacob to Bethel was to begin to establish the covenant He had with Abraham. The foundation of this was laid by building an altar of worship unto the Lord.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN GOD REPOSITIONS YOU?
He would have prepared a place for you
He will assign an angel to guide you to the place He prepared for you
Your protection is guaranteed on your way to the place He prepared for you
The Holy Spirit will speak to you to direct you
He will make a way for you where there is no way
He will make people you do not know to serve you. Ps. 18:43
He will glorify you Is. 55:5
He will deliver you from the strivings of the people. Ps. 18:43
He will make you the head over the unbelievers. Ps. 18:43 It is the boss that has the authority. When God makes you the boss, nobody can lift a finger against you
The strangers there will submit themselves to you.
But God will certainly do all that I have enumerated, if only you will take note of the following:
You must pay steady attention to the direction of the Holy Spirit.
You must obey the direction of the Holy Spirit
You must not grieve the Holy Spirit. Eph. 4:30
You must guard against sin
You must guard against anything that will take the number place of God in your life.
You must serve the Lord in your re-positioned place
You must pray without ceasing in your re-positioned place.
In conclusion, dear sisters, God is ready to reposition you but you need to prepare yourself for repositioning. Go back to God. He is the one who can reposition you. Be obedient. Fear God and have a burning desire for the kingdom project. Trust Him and you will be repositioned to fulfill destiny.

SHALL WE PRAY?
O Lord, if my journey in life has been altered, correct it by your power.
O Lord, let me walk in Your timing, in the name of Jesus.
All evil powers assigned to frustrate my divine purpose on this earth, be paralyzed, in the name of Jesus.
Father Lord, arise in Your almightiness and re-possess my occupied territories for me, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, make me sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus.
Hornet of God, go forth and drive away all evil powers occupying my promised land, in the name of Jesus
O Lord, align me to Your divine agenda, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, plug me into Your divine calendar, in the name of Jesus.
My Father, let me walk in Your timing, in the name of Jesus.
Let my days co-operate with the plan and purposes of God, in the name of Jesus.
Let the will of satanic agents for my life be dismantled, in the name of Jesus.
I claim heavenly diplomatic immunity over my life, in the name of Jesus.
Every evil targeted against my dwelling, backfire, in the name of Jesus.
Evil arrow shot against me by day, die, in the name of Jesus.
Night terror assigned against me, die, in the name of Jesus.
Every power assigned to frustrate me, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
Every good thing that is wrongly aligned in my life, receive divine alignment, in the name of Jesus.
My Father, anoint me to think creatively, in the name of Jesus.
My Father, bring me into new realms of power, in the name of Jesus.
My Father, bring me into new dimension of divine inspiration, in the name of Jesus.
My Father, upgrade my brain and mind by the power in the blood of Jesus.
Cycles of death and failure, scatter, in the name of Jesus.
I silence every wind assigned to bring problems into my life, in the name of Jesus.
My Father, assign Your angels as my security escorts and supernatural security, in the name of Jesus.
Let the angels of God arise and repossess my occupied territories for me, in the name of Jesus.
Gate of death, close, in the name OF Jesus.
Doors of affliction and confusion, close, in the name of Jesus.
New effectual doors of opportunity, open unto me by fire, in the name of Jesus.
Multiple rivers of income and cash flow, locate my life, in the name of Jesus.
My Father, make me sensitive to the wave length of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus.
Let every good thing I touch turn to prophetic gold, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, grant me wisdom to do my work more effectively, professionally and accurately, in the name of Jesus.
I call forth by fire, all individuals and resources divinely assigned to move me forward, in the name of Jesus.
Anything or anyone assigned to demote and frustrate me, move away, in the name of Jesus.
I receive power to excel in productivity, in the name of Jesus.
Let me always maximize my potentials, in the name of Jesus.
Begin to adore the name of the Lord
Call Him His names(Awesome God, Mighty God,the Great I am, Yahweh, Jehovah Elshaddai…….as many of God’s name that you can remember please adore our Maker).
Thank Him for His faithfulness over you and your family! It is of the Lord’s mercies that we’re not consumed because His compassions fail not, they’re new every morning and great is God’s faithfulness.
Thank Him for answered prayers so far in this Juicy July and also thank Him in advance for what He’ll still do.
Begin to ask God for mercy, the Bible says if I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.
Tell God to cleanse you with the blood of Jesus and also pray for the grace to live holy and righteously.
Begin to take charge of your environment, bind every forces of darkness in that vicinity and pray that the heavens will be opened upon you.
Pray that the Lord should reposition you spiritually. Enough is enough for lukewarmness and spiritual dryness,tell God to fill you with the Holy Spirit.
Tell God to open your spiritual eyes and ears once again. Pray for the grace to be spiritually sensitive.
Pray that God will deliver you from evil curses, generational curses and evil pattern. Tell God to reposition you and shift you away from such in Jesus mighty name.
Pray for repositioning in your academics. It is time to move forward,begin to advance in Jesus name!
Pray that God should reposition you financially, no more indebtedness, no more borrowing to do good things. Pray that God will deliver you from poverty in Jesus mighty name!
If you’re into business,pray for a supernatural shift in your business, pray that the Lord Himself will reposition your business to a higher level. You will no longer be a mediocre in that business in Jesus mighty name! Rich customers are directed to your business in Jesus mighty name!
Pray for repositioning in our careers, tell God to make us international from now on. We get the best of employment in Jesus mighty name!
Every invisible chain holding me stagnant in life, break by fire in Jesus name.
I oppose every spirit opposing my forwardness in life in Jesus name.
O lord, reposition me by mercy today to where my glory shall shine without limitation in Jesus name.
O Heavens, connect me to everyone assigned in life to lift me up speedily in Jesus name.
Every negative force in my family line that frustrates peoples effort to break new grounds, scatter in Jesus name.
Father baptize me with unusual favor that will launch me into a new realm of testimonies in Jesus name.

Begin to commit other aspects of your life unto God and that God should reposition you.
Pray that God should reposition the BUD family to where He wants us to be this season.
Pray for Nigeria,that God will reposition Nigeria to be a better place.
Begin to appreciate God for He has answered.
