Dear sisters, Welcome to Day 16 ofa carving out great things for your destinies.
I am glad that God has been faithful to us in giving us strength for this spiritual exercise.
My prayer for every one of us involved in this exercise is that our charged battery will not run out.
We shall always be connected to Christ Jesus the Sun of Righteousness and source of Life and strength in Jesus Name.
Let us say these Words of Prayer.
Father in heaven, I thank you for your inexhaustible strength you have given me to seek your face.
Father, speak Your word to my soul today. Let Your word accomplish its purpose in my life. Let my soul blossom in your word, let Your word come to manifestation in my life in Jesus Name. Amen
Now let us open up some concepts in our topic- the making of a precious Gem.
According to Webster Dictionary, A gem is a precious stone, that is cut and polished for ornament. It also means something prized for great beauty or perfection. It is also a highly prized or well-beloved person.
I am excited about these definitions because it shows who we really are in the sight of God.

Glory!
So that is who we are!
We are children of God!
We are precious!
We are gems!
C’mon, look at our text:
NIV: Then our sons in their youth will be like well-nurtured plants, and our daughters will be like pillars carved to adorn a palace.
AMP: Let our sons in their youth be like plants full grown, and our daughters like corner pillars fashioned for a palace.
KJV: That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace.
This passage of the Bible reveals to us that God is interested in both the male and female gender. He loves both gender alike.
Know that as a female, God loves you as much as he loves the male gender. Therefore, remove any inferiority complex making you feel less of yourself. Daughters are not left out of God’s plan and agenda. (Joel 2:28)
God desires that young men (your husband, your sons) be strong, well rooted and grown up and developed in his image. God also desires that women (you, your daughters) be as corner stone polished after the similitude of a palace.
As a corner stone, God is bestowing much care and grace upon you to adorn and fashion you.
Note that the process of growth and polishing takes place in the secret place of the most High.
Remember Esther who had to go through series of purification processes before she could appear before the King Ahaseurus and obtain his favour.
Dear sisters, you need to submit yourself to God’s process of polishing so that you can become a precious gem through which he can showcase his Glory.
God the Father, has taken us as a project and he is working to refine us into precious gems by removing the impurities from our lives. The ultimate goal of effort is that we can be Christ-like and pure.
Look at our second text again in Malachi 3:2-3 and notice these statements:
And he shall sit like a refiner and purifier of silver, he shall purify,… and purge them as gold and silver.
One of the ways God the Refiner purifies us is to pass us through the cleansing fire, so that our impurities are burned off.
As we walk through trials in life, God may use those times to refine us in character, and other areas of our lives.
Maybe you are facing a challenge at work, at home, in the school, in your academics. God may be using that challenge to work on your trust, your compassion, your patience, or to reset your priorities.
We all need to be refined. We need to be worked on. We need to be purified!
What happens during the refining process?
The first step in refining gold or silver is to first crush the larger rocks of ore into small pieces so that the hidden treasures of the precious metal can be revealed.
So, there’s a crushing! A crushing to reveal the hidden treasures inside us.
Not only that. The next step is: The refiner places the bit of metals into a crucible and places it over the fire to burn away debris.
There’s a fire. A burning away of the debris. Wow!
Thereafter, more heat is added and the temperature increases, the metal melts and the impurities and dross rises to the surface and is removed.
There is a melting! A very shattering state of our lives. No wonder that songs says:
Spirit of the Living God
Come afresh on me
Spirit of the Living God

MELT ME
MOLD ME
FILL ME
USE ME
Spirit of the Living God
Come afresh on me.
That melting must happen. It is the state of brokenness, of liquidifying, of disassembling! Kaaaiiii!
After that, the refiner will continue to heat the metal in the crucible at hotter and hotter temperatures as some impurities will only burn off at higher temperatures.
Hmmmmm…. Some impurities need hotter and hotter fire!! They won’t go until the fire is increased.
Those impurities that won’t allow us to shine and the glory of God revealed in our lives, they must be licke away by fire!!!
Once the impurities are removed, the refiner would continue heating and watching for the molten metal to become shiny, until he can see his own reflection.
Did you see that???
UNTIL HE CAN SEE HIS OWN REFLECTION!!!
That is when He’s done!!!
Are you shiny so much the Lord, the Refiner can see His own reflection when He looks at you???
Oh my Father!!!!!
Note that the refiner does not abandon the metal in the fire to burn away, rather, he sits and watches the transformation closely. The refining fire is usually hot, but it is controlled by the refiner. So, it might be uncomfortable but He’s not far from you.
Have you been put through the refining fire?
Have you felt that God is breaking up larger rocks of sin and doubt and fear and addictions in your heart?
Have the fires around you been heated to hotter temperatures to cleanse your character and remove excesses?
Remember that God is the refiner and he is watching the process carefully to make sure that you aren’t consumed by the fire.
Beloved sisters, it is important that as we pass through the refining fire, we do the following:
1. Submit to the process. God is at work to improve you.
2. Trust God in that moment and let your faith in him be more firm (Romans 5:3-5)
3. Lean more fervently in prayers and cling to God’s promises. (Romans 8:26)
Finally, let us also take a look at Isaiah 62: 3
Thou shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
My Beloved sisters, I want to emphatically tell you that if you have been redeemed by the Blood of Jesus, you are a diadem in God’s hand.
But if you are not yet Born Again, I am afraid, you are like a wood that will burn off when you pass through fire.
At this juncture, I would like you to pray this prayer with Faith in your heart, if you are not born again.
Lord Jesus, I thank you for your Love that you have extended again to me to see you today.
I Confess that I am a sinner. These sins (mention them) still have dominion over me. I can see they are impurities not allowing my glory to shine. Not allowing your reflection to be seen in me.
Lord, I ask for your mercy over my life, to cleanse me and wash me with the precious blood of Jesus. Write my name in the book of life. Give me grace to continually live in victory over sin, satan and sickness in Jesus Name.
I forsake these sins and I promise not to go back to them. Help my decision oh Lord. For I have prayed in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen

Father, I thank you for your love for me and your purpose for my life.
Thank you for choosing to refine me as a polished corner stone to beautify the world and show forth your glory.
Father, let your mercies prevail over judgment in my life as a result of my sins and shortcomings in Jesus Name
I cover myself with the blood of Jesus. (pray this 7 times)
I separate myself from any inherited bondage and limitation in the name of Jesus.
Blood of Jesus, flush out from my system every inherited satanic deposit in the mighty name of Jesus
O Lord, send your axe of fire to the foundation of my life, and destroy every evil plantation there in the Name of Jesus

Blood of Jesus and the fire of the Holy Ghost, cleanse every organ in my body in the Name of Jesus

Lord Jesus, I receive grace to trust Your will over my life. I receive the spirit of endurance to wait for the promise of God so that my end will be prosperous and glorious in the Name of Jesus. Jeremiah 29:11.
I arise and do exploits in every area of my life. Lord, lift me up from the shambles I am in. Let the glory of the Lord fall heavily upon me for greater success and achievement in the Name of Jesus.
Lord, do a new thing in my life. Open doors of opportunity for me. Bring me out of the wilderness of failure and let the world know through me that You are a God of wonders in the Name of Jesus.
Lord, give me the grace to do Your will so that I may eat the fruit of the land which you have given to your children who obey and do Your will in the Name of Jesus.
Lord Jesus, I pray that You will bless each of my family members. I pray that we shall have dominion everywhere we step our feet on. Our name, Lord Jesus, will be heard all over the world for good in the Name of Jesus.
Lord, help me to understand every season in my life so I can be able to do what is right at all times. Father, plant in my heart the consciousness of time so that I can fulfill Your plan for my life in the Name of Jesus.
