TOPIC: DRIPPING DOMINION

TEXT: GENESIS 1: 26-31

BIBLE STUDY: EZEKIEL 37

 

Hey fam, glory be to God for another beautiful day! Today is Day 5 of our Juicy July 2022 and it has been raining heavily at my side over here. I do not know about you. Has it?

 

Let me encourage you, sis to keep holding on. Please, keep praying. You might not see it; it might not look like it; it might not look like anything is happening; it might seem as though it’s becoming tougher and tougher. But hey, it’s usually darkest before the dawn. And even though You can’t see it, He’s working! Our God is working! He is faithful! He says when you call on Him, He will answer! If you, as unfaithful as you are can fulfil your own part of calling on Him, do you think He would fail in fulfilling His own part of answering? No way! My God is not a man that He should lie. Neither is He the son of man that He should repent. Be of good cheer sisters, for your prayers shall never be in vain with the Lord. Remember, you aren’t even praying for the ‘now’ alone. Prayer is an investment that yields much! Hold the fort, sisters- dominion is near!

 

So, today, we are going to be entering into the rain of victory until we are soaked, drenched, fully immersed in and dripping dominion! Somebody, shout ‘Glory!’

 

Now, repeat after me with such much FAITH!:

I am soaked in dominion! (3x)

I am immersed in dominion! (3x)

I drip dominion! (3x)

I have dominion! (3x)

Dominion is my new name! (3x)

In the Mighty Name of Jesus! (3x)

For many years now, Satan’s tried to stop us

But the church of Jesus, is still alive

Halleluyah! Are you charged? Ha-ha, the devil is a liar! We’ve got the Power to knock him off! He can only rage and get angry and roar but if he lifts his hands, he will only hit himself! Halleluyah! Amen!

 

Looking at our text for today, verse 28 says: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth

 

 

Reading through this passage, you can see that we were actually created and equipped with dominion right from the very beginning. Unfortunately, dominion is a topic that many of us talk about but a few of us really possess. According to the Word of God, we are made to have dominion in life. It is God’s will for us to walk in dominion. God never created us to live at the mercy of the Devil!

 

What really is Dominion?

• Dominion is power over something or someone!
• Dominion is authority over something or someone!
• Dominion is control over something or someone.
• Dominion is the ability to command and expect that what you command is carried out!
• To have dominion is to rule, to be in charge.

 

That is how we are supposed to be living! But should I ask you? Is that how you live? Are you living in dominion?

 

What then happened?

 

Why are we living like slaves?

 

Why the so much suffering?

 

Why has the power of darkness taken over??

 

The only answer to the above questions is SIN.

 

When man was not watching, his greatest enemy unknown to him creeped in, introduced sin into him and took away the weapon of dominion leaving man with fear and problems and insecurity, even curses and so many issues that we now see.

 

So, everyone born through the seed of Adam is cursed, with his dominion, taken away!

 

But something happened!

 

To reconcile us and God back and to have man’s dominion given back to him, there must be the shedding of blood! The Bible says ‘Without the shedding of blood, there is not remission of sins!

 

For a long time, the blood of pure animals could do but to have a forever, lasting dominion, so we won’t be buying animals every time and so we can now fully access God without the veil in between, Jesus volunteered to come and shed His pure Blood for us!

 

And He came, He was ridiculed, He bled and died for you and me!

 

Matthew 26: 67 says: Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,

 

Spitting on Jesus was making our Lord to partake in the sin of our fallen nature. He was also using that means to be baptised in our shame and reproach.

 

He was also scourged! To be scourged means to be whipped! Look at it below:

 

Matthew 27:26-27 So he released Barabbas to the people. He ordered that Jesus be beaten with a whip made of leather straps embedded with metal, and afterward be crucified. Then the guards took him into their military compound, where a detachment of nearly six hundred soldiers surrounded him.

 

Ayaaayaaaaaa, just because of you and me! He went through it all!

 

The whip was made up of leather straps embedded with metal! No wonder when it was released, it tore off his flesh! And Jesus received 39 strokes of that whip! That was a demonstration of His great love for us. He endured it all for our dominion!

 

Jesus endured the lashes of the whips; our Deliverer was in chains—for us, to get us back in the good book of our God!

 

What Jesus must have suffered as each strip of leather with its sharp bone or metal entered into His skin, ripping and shredding it is unimaginable to us.

 

Dear sisters, those whips were for our healing in fulfilment of prophet Isaiah’s prophecy- our dominion over sicknesses!

 

Isaiah 53: 5. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

 

So, those afflictions of sicknesses, diseases, infirmities, fibroids, barrenness and all have been paid for- they should have no place in our bodies! They shouldn’t be the ones controlling our lives! We shouldn’t live our lives under their rulership! They should be under our feet! Drugs, hospitals, debts, admission every now and then, radiations, exposures to scans and the likes do not spell dominion. They must go!

 

Also, Jesus was stripped naked. Matthew 27: 28 says And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.

 

Jesus was dehumanized and ridiculed because, how could you take off the clothing that covered the dignity of a 33 year old man in the public? That’s pure ridicule!

 

That was what happened when man lost his dominion also! He became naked, shy and started covering himself here and there! So, just like the first Adam was chased out of the garden of Eden, so also was the last Adam (Jesus) dehumanized in this world and even killed!

 

Sisters, I don’t know who must have stripped you in life. I do not know what has been taken away from your life. I do not know if you have anything left even!

 

But I know for sure that they stripped Joseph of his coat of many colours (Gen.37:23) but God compensated him with a throne of the prime minister (Gen.41:41-44)- Halleluyah!

 

I know that Jesus was dehumanized and disgraced, stripped of his beauty (he was left with many scars and wounds), beaten hard and spat at but he entered into a greater dimension of glory thereafter, his name exalted over every other name. Glory!

 

Luke 24:26 says ‘Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and then to enter His glory?”

 

I pray for you today, that everything that sin, self and Satan have stripped off of you, the Lord shall restore all to you today in the name of Jesus.

 

You might have been stripped of your honour, your opportunity, your promotion, your riches, your health, your voice, your purity, your strength, your hope etc. The God of restoration shall restore all that you have lost in Jesus name.

 

 

So, dear sisters, John 19:29-30 says: Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, IT IS FINISHED: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

 

Here is the good news, sisters!

 

Jesus has conquered for us on the cross!

 

He said ‘IT IS FINISHED!’

 

Your afflictions are finished!

 

Your pain is over!

 

The debts, hunger, sorrow, hatred, rejection, failure, barrenness, is over!! It is finished!

 

Jesus did not do an incomplete job. He finished it! He’s won us the victory! Halleluyah!!

 

So, the Lord Jesus has restored dominion back to our bodies, our spirits, our souls! We should be reigning like kings!

 

What is stopping you from reigning?

 

As kings and priests, our calling is to reign. In Deuteronomy 15:6, we read about this great promise made to Israel: “For the Lord your God will bless you, just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.”

 

This is the set time to reign in life by Jesus Christ, sisters!

 

You may have suffered conditions and been through situations that seem to linger and take so long to be fixed, but I have come to announce that this is the set time to reign and rule over all those bad situations of your life in the mighty name of Jesus!

 

Romans 5:17 says “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

 

So, through Adam’s offence, death reigned. But through Jesus, we that have received grace in abundance and the gift of righteousness reign! Halleluyah!

 

Anything in your life that has ruled and controlled your life before now, I command it to break off now because this is your set time to reign in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

 

Just as by the sacrifice of Christ, death which had rule over all men was broken, I command things, situations, and circumstances that have ruled and controlled your life and family to break their holds now so you can rule in the mighty Name of Jesus!

 

The same God who lifted Saul, the least in his tribe to rule; David a shepherd boy to rule; Solomon the son of the other woman to rule; Joash an eight-year-old to rule; and Paul, the worst of sinners to preach grace; is setting a stage for you to reign from this day forward! Amen? Amen!

 

The Lord is setting a stage for me to reign; therefore, I reign henceforth in the Mighty Name of Jesus! I reign henceforth! I reign henceforth (14x)

 

Sisters, are you ready to start reigning in Christ?

 

Are you ready to be in control of those situations that had held you captive in the past?

 

Are you ready to overthrow those powers that have been in control of your life since and have Jesus be in charge from this day forward?

 

Then, let us pray!

Let’s begin to appreciate God for His faithfulness

 

Thank Him for His goodness and mercy

Come boldly to the throne of grace and plead for mercy

 

Ask the Blood of Jesus to cleanse you from your personal sins and ancestral transgressions

 

Cry to the Lord loud and clear: ‘Jesus, Thou Son of God, have mercy on me!’ (7x)

 

Begin to take charge of your environment

 

Cover your environment with the Blood of Jesus

 

Pray for the heaven upon you to be opened right now. In the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.

 

NOW, LET’S TAKE A STEP HIGHER!

 

Father! Your will is for me to walk in dominion, therefore, from today, I begin to walk in dominion in Jesus mighty name! I take my rightfully place now as a king in the mighty Name of Jesus.

 

I plead for mercy over every generational sin that has made me a mediocre and I obtain mercy in Jesus mighty name. I am no longer a mediocre in the mighty Name of Jesus!

 

I walk in dominion in my spiritual life (mention other areas) in Jesus mighty name!

 

No more oppression in my dream in Jesus’ mighty name!

 

You power of darkness oppressing me in my dream by feeding me with evil food, Jesus has given me dominion, therefore, be fed with your own flesh and be drunken with your own blood in Jesus mighty name.

 

Oh, ye spirit husband, having sexual intercourse with me in my dream, I take dominion over you, and I command you to be destroyed by fire in Jesus mighty name. Lose your hold over me now and be burnt to ashes in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

 

Oh, ye powers of darkness, ruling over my finances, causing me to live in poverty, I take dominion over you in Jesus mighty name. I reign in the riches of Christ Jesus henceforth in the Mighty Name of Jesus

 

I take dominion over every territorial demons of my father’s house in Jesus mighty name. I rule over you all now in the Mighty Name of Jesus! (Repeat this prayer severally)

 

I take dominion over every territorial demons of my mother’s house in Jesus mighty name. I rule over you all now in the Mighty Name of Jesus! (Repeat this prayer severally)

I take dominion over every power that has laid embargo on my marital life in Jesus Name. I rule over you all now in the Mighty Name of Jesus! (Repeat this prayer severally)

 

I take dominion over every power that has laid embargo over my fruitfulness in Jesus mighty name. I rule over you all now in the Mighty Name of Jesus! (Repeat this prayer severally)

 

I take dominion over every power making me to be a mediocre in my ministry in Jesus mighty name. I rule over you all now in the Mighty Name of Jesus! (Repeat this prayer severally)

 

Every power of darkness fighting my destiny is destroyed now in Jesus name!

 

I take charge of my life now and hand it over to the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Holy Spirit, take over my life! Teach me how to reign in life! Teach me to reign, Lord! (7x)

 

By the blood of Jesus, I flush out every evil deposit placed in my body by evil powers that ruled me in the past in Jesus’ mighty name

 

Oh Lord, by your spirit, empower me to overcome every spiritual battle that may come my way in the mighty Name of Jesus.

 

I declare that every arrow of the kingdom of darkness targeted at me returns back to sender in the name of Jesus.

 

The power to mount up with wings as Eagles, fall upon me now in the name of Jesus!

 

I subdue the powers of darkness fighting my destiny in Jesus name

Infirmities, leave me now!

Evil deposits, leave me now!

 

Sicknesses and wickedness, leave my body now in the mighty Name of Jesus.

 

 

(Touch your body from your head to your toes right now. Then say:) I am soaked in the Blood of Jesus! I am immersed in the Blood of Jesus! I triumph over every battle against my body in Jesus’ Name.

 

Jesus has won the victory for me for my spirit, therefore, every satanic activity going on in my spirit right now, your time is up, I cast you out of me now, go into the sea to perish there forever in the mighty Name of Jesus.

 

I have dominion over sin!

 

I enjoy victory over self!

 

I have the gift of righteousness and grace in abundance!

 

Every addiction, causing me spiritual death, I curse you today, pack your load and go in the mighty Name of Jesus!

 

You besetting sin (mention it) causing me to have spiritual ill health from time to time, your time is up, go right under my feet forever in the mighty Name of Jesus (Repeating seven times, stamping your feet as you do)

 

Jesus has won the victory for me for my mind, therefore, every satanic activity going on against my peace right now, your time is up, I cast you out of me now, go into the sea to perish there forever in the mighty Name of Jesus.

 

I regain my peace in the mighty Name of Jesus!

 

Every mental issue the devil is reserving for my future, you lie, I send you into the Red sea now to perish there in Jesus Name.

 

Satan, you have no place in my mind!

 

I believe no lie from the pit of Hell in the mighty Name of Jesus!

 

I shall not be disgraced in any area of my life, in the name of Jesus.

 

I refuse to be dismayed, in the name of Jesus.

 

I shall not die but live and declare the works of the living God, in the name of Jesus. (Repeat 3ce)

 

I obtain joy and gladness today; sorrow and sighing flee from my life forever, in the name of Jesus.

 

I receive deliverance from all spirits of adversity and afflictions, in the name of Jesus.

 

I command the angels of the Lord to execute judgement on the evil forces militating against my family, in the name of Jesus.

 

I have clarity of purpose!

 

I am led by the spirit!

 

I subdue!

 

I reign!

 

I dominate!

 

I drip dominion!

 

I recover all the devil has stolen from me in Jesus mighty name! 

 

Continue to pray as the Lord leads you.

 

When you are done, raise your prayer journal and cry to the Lord ‘Oh ye requests of mine, I command you to begin to turn to me now for testimony in the Victorious Name of Jesus!’

 

Begin to thank God for answered prayers
