A Special March!

March is Going to be Special!

Oh yes. The month of March is no ordinary month. It is a month that has long been used for one of the fiercest battles over womanhood. Every year, voices rise, narratives are pushed, and definitions are enforced, many of them standing in direct opposition to what the Scriptures say.

By God’s grace, this year will be different for us in The BUD Family Africa. Instead of yielding ground, we will be taking our stand. March will be a month of intentional return, a season of clarity, and a time of reclaiming womanhood as God Himself designed and defined it.

So, this is to officially announce that the month of March is going to be a very beautiful and very significant month for us. By God’s grace, it will be a month dedicated to Biblical womanhood.

The world sets aside March 8th as International Women’s Day, and throughout the month of March there is always a strong focus on womanhood. Institutions, especially global bodies, take it upon themselves to define and redefine what womanhood is.

Unfortunately, many of these definitions do not come from a heart that reverences God. They are shaped by culture, ideology, and human reasoning, and as a result, they are often erroneous, destructive, and ultimately lead women into confusion and ruin.

Many of us in Africa have never truly been exposed to Biblical womanhood. In many of our churches, we are not even aware that womanhood is clearly described and defined in the Scriptures. We have grown up with cultural versions, religious versions, and modern versions of womanhood, but not necessarily the biblical one.

During the month of March, we will not be going deeply into every aspect of Biblical womanhood here, by God’s grace. We already have the Biblical Womanhood Africa Course, which is available for those who want to engage deeply, especially with more complex and sensitive issues.

However, throughout the month, the Lord will lead us to highlight and celebrate some key areas of womanhood. These are truths meant to gently pull our hearts back to the foundations of what it truly means to be a woman as defined and described by the Lord God Almighty.

You can expect content on the blog, our YouTube channel and our WhatsApp channel. The Echoes of Truth for March will be fully dedicated to womanhood, by God’s grace. Our YouTube channel will also feature teachings, short videos, and other materials, all aimed at blessing, grounding, and strengthening us.

I also want to encourage you to ask questions. If you have questions about womanhood, you can use the question and answer form just below the blog. As you navigate social media in the new month and encounter many messages about womanhood, I encourage you to be discerning.

Ask questions. Bring them forward. We would love to address many of these questions throughout the month.

March is very special to me. It is my birth month, and I could not think of a better way to dedicate it than to womanhood as God intended it to be.

I pray that the Lord, in His infinite mercy, will take full control of this month.

I pray that March will be a month of victory for us, a month of glory, and a season of moving from glory to glory.
