TOPIC: SHOWERS OF NEWNESS
TEXT: ISAIAH 43:18-19, ISAIAH 62: 2 & 4, MALACHI 3:12
BIBLE READING: ISAIAH 43
Good day, sis. How do you do? I trust you are fine. I trust you keep sowing in prayers? Please do not give up now. The Bible says ‘They that sow in tears shall reap in joy’
The process of sowing (planting) could be so tedious and sweaty. You’d pull off the weeds from the field, till the ground, build beds, sow the seeds, water and expose to enough sunshine. You’d bend and sweat and it would feel as though you are wasting your time. It would feel as though others are enjoying while you are wasting away!
But when the harvest time arrives! Ha-ha! There would be a very distinct difference between those who have sown and those who were having ‘fun’ when they were supposed to be sowing!
Galatians 6:19 says ‘So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing IF WE DON’T GIVE UP’ (NLT)
Hallelujah!
The good we are doing our lives, future, families and all is the fasting and prayer we are putting ourselves in right now!
If we do not give up, at that right time, we will real a harvest of blessings. Amen?

It’s the twelfth day since we have been tarrying in God’s presence and I want to encourage you not to relent or relax, we keep squeezing till we squeeze out all the juices that the Lord has for us in this seventh month of the year.
Amen?
Amen.
12 is a very significant number in the kingdom and assuredly, that significance will bring significant things our ways from this day forward in Jesus Name.
Oh, so, twelve (12) is really significant? Let’s see Revelation 21: 10-14
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.
11 It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.
12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel.
13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west.
14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Can you see for yourself?
The disciples/apostles of Christ were twelve!
The tribes of Jacob are twelve!
The walls of the new Jerusalem in heaven have twelve foundations, twelve gates and twelve angels with the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
So, we can’t take today with levity. And to crown it all, the Lord has promised us something spectacular on this twelfth day! What?
Newness! Can I hear you at all? Call it loud and clear?
NEWNESS!
What does newness mean? It is the state of being new. A state of novelty.
It signifies freshness, it represents greenness, and it symbolises tranquillity. (You feel calm and at peace when you get a new thing)
God has chosen to give us “NEWNESS” on this great day.
Amen????
This means God has decided to give you and me something different, current, unique, original, unusual, exotic, uncommon, etc.

Isaiah 43:18-19
18 “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Did you see that?
Read it over and over again!
Proclaim and claim this great promise for yourself!
Even the remembrance of old things in your life is gone! He is doing something great in your life and it is springing forth NOW!!!
Impossibilities are becoming possible!
Road in the thick wilderness!
Rivers in the deserts!
Help in strange, unexpected places!
And our second text, Isaiah 62:2-4:
2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
Ayaaaaaaa!
New name!
The Lord is changing your name today!
From ‘that olodo girl’ to ‘that genius, intellectual’!
From ‘that ugly girl’ to ‘that beautiful angel’!
From ‘that old spinster’ to ‘that happily married lady’!
From ‘that waiting mother’ to ‘that happy mother of healthy children’!
From that ‘beggar’ to ‘that generous giver’!
From ‘that sickler’ to ‘that strong, healthy lady’!
The Lord is changing our names!!!!
What is the Lord changing your name to? Write it down in your note!
The Lord is changing my name from ………………… to …………………………! So shall it be in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

We’ve got new names! Our names have been changed! Glory! Halleluyah!
We are no longer FORSAKEN! We are no longer DESOLATE! We are Hephzibah! We are Beulah! Glory!
And our last text, Malachi 3:12
And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.
Did you say a loud ‘Amen’ to that?
My family and I shall be called blessed! We shall be the choicest and delightsome land. That is the Word of the Lord!

We have been asking God for showers of blessing, favour, mercy and all good things since we commenced but God is telling us today that He wants to give us a shower of NEWNESS!
Let’s take this illustration. When it rains for the first time in a long while and it rains heavily, the rain would surely be dirty. And though everyone might have been expectant of the rain, the first rain would be dirty since it had been a long time since it rained.
But those who can be patient enough to wait for the rain to wash the dirty roofs for ten to fifteen minutes, and then put out their bowls and pans would get NEW water.
When others are saying the water is too dirty, you who waited till this twelfth hour, the twelfth day will have a new rain.
Do you get my analogy?
We have stayed till this day before the Lord, so, we are receiving showers of newness from the Lord!!! Halllllellluuuuuyah!
Let’s sing our theme hymn together. Showers of blessings– but we will be substituting ‘blessings’ for ‘newness, freshness and greenness’. Amen in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

We shall experience newness, freshness and greenness in the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen!
For those of you who have been holding on to an old job for a while and needed a change in job, location or pay check, God is saying that He will do a new thing. There shall be newness.
For those who have been barren for years, mocked and reproached, coming to Shiloh (B.U.D Juicy July annually), and it seems that there is no turnaround, that scriptural verse is saying that, no more shall your land be barren, you shall carry your bundle of joy and call him & her newness. (Yeah, him and her because the Lord will give you double for your shame.)
For those who have sowed the seed of prayers, tears and perseverance for years trusting God for God’s best maritally, but it seems your status is not changing anytime soon, God is saying to you and me through that scriptural verse that your land shall be married.
You shall be called a delightsome land. No more shall you be termed forsaken and desolate. You shall be called by a new name.
For those who have been trusting God for relocation abroad, scholarship opportunities, global relevance, a divine announcement of your business and promotions at work, God is telling you today that there shall be showers of newness.
In place of your old job, you are getting a new one!
In place of your old, dilapidated house, God is handing over to you, the key to a new house.
In place of your old 504 car, God is gifting you a brand-new car this season!
In place of time wasters and destiny destroyers coming as suitors, God is sending you “Mr Newness” in this season.
In place of stagnation and delay, the Lord is giving you new promotions at work coupled with mouth-watering incentives and divine placements beyond your imaginations!
In place of low-income clients for your business, God is sending you new profile customers and clients for your business. He is connecting you and your business to clients both within and outside the shores of your country!
I believe you are charged and ready to call forth newness in all areas of your life.

For those who have gotten the assurance that the Lord will do a new thing right now, at this moment and season of their lives, begin to call him sweet names and worship!
LET’S PRAY:
Lord, I want to thank you for bringing to pass the former things you have spoken about me, now Lord, I pray and declare a new start for me again, in Jesus name.
Lord, you said you will do a new thing; that you will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, Oh Lord, do it in my life and give me a new beginning, in Jesus name.
Oh Lord, inspire in me new ideas, new thought, new insights that make for accomplishments in Jesus name.
Father, I ask that you help me begin anew in my marriage, family and ministry by divine wisdom, in Jesus name.
Father, I thank you for the opportunity for relocation/job/marriage/motherhood. I pray that as I settle into my new home/community /job/marriage/motherhood, help me to integrate well. And also bless me with new opportunities there, in Jesus name.
Father, I want to thank you for the spirit of revelation and knowledge, I pray that you fill me mind with fresh new revelation and insights into your word, in Jesus name.

I decree and declare newness! Let the new things begin to manifest in and through me. Let there be showers of new things for me over my life, work, business, spouse, children, family and in all ramifications!
I decree and declare that my land shall be married and no more barren! I decree and declare that my land shall be fertile and fruitful!
I decree and declare that my children shall surround my tables because the Lord is set to do a new thing in my life!
Your word says, ” Your glory will you not give to another nor your praises to another”, Lord, permit not a man to share your glory with you over the new things you are set to do in my life this season.
I enter into my season of new things! It’s my season of abundance of new things! When I look to the left henceforth, I see new things and newness, when I look to my back, I see new things and newness, when I look to my front and right, I see freshness, newness and new things!
Henceforth, I have a new song on my lips! I no longer sing the song of old because the Lord is commanding the release of newness for me!
I see the Lord commanding his angels to open the windows of heaven for me that there may be showers of new things! There shall be no room to contain the abundance of new things for me!
I decree and declare that in my life, home and family, old things are passed away and all things have become new because the lord is doing a new thing! He makes the crooked paths to become smooth in my favour!
I decree and declare that I enter into my palace of newness! I no longer live in the old mansion! I am entering my palace of newness! The angels on good tidings and newness usher me in.
This is my season of newness galore! I key into it! Every eye and ear shall see and hear of the declaration of newness in my life and shall praise God with me.
My name becomes Miss/Mrs newness this season! The Lord calls me by a new name and everyone who sees me calls me by a new name as well.
I decree and declare that I enter into my era of newness! I enter into my era of freshness! I enter into my era of greenness!
Old things are passed away in my life! All things become new for me and my household!
God of the twelfth hour, visit me with newness in all spheres of my life today. (Begin to mention it to the Lord).
God of the twelfth day, visit me with my twelfth-day miracles, breakthrough and testimonies in all ramifications of my life today.
I decree and declare showers of newness upon me, my life, family, spouse, children, and all that is mine.
