These are deep words that we will be considering today and I will beg you to patiently follow each prayerfully, asking the Lord to open your eyes and spirit to understanding every detail.
Before we go on, let us confess our need to God. Let us bow humbly before Him and cry out. That we need Him. That our husbands need him. That our fiancés need Him. That our children need Him. Our fathers, mothers, siblings, in-laws. They all need Him more and more.

What does ‘Escape’ mean?
It means ‘an act of breaking free from confinement or control.’
Psalm 141:9 says: Keep me from the jaws of the trap which they have set for me, And from the snares of those who do iniquity.
Escaping can mean breaking free. It can also mean ‘being kept from’ something!
Either ways, we need an escape!
There needs to be an escape. If there is no escape, there will be problem.
We need escape. Our husbands need to escape. Our children need to escape. Our loved ones need to escape. Our glories. And destinies. Our precious marriages. Our peaceful lives- all of them need to escape!!!!
Okay, what are we escaping from?
- THE DEATH-TRAP
From the verse above, we need an urgent escape:
From the traps!
From the snares!
From the jaws of the enemies of our souls!
From those who do iniquities!!!
And from our topic, we can see that we need an escape from a DEATH TRAP!
What does a death trap mean?
‘DEATH TRAP is a structure or situation that is potentially very dangerous to life’
Oh, what is so dangerous which can be a death trap that we need to be delivered from, kept from or seek an escape from???
- THE SEXUAL PERVERSIONS
Sexual perversions!
Oh, we know what sexual means. But what does perversion mean?
Perversion is “a twisting /diverting from the true intent or purpose” of something.
Satan twists things. Every good thing that God created, Satan works to pervert.
God created sexuality and called it good. He made it for marriage! For a dual purpose:
- Procreation (Genesis 1:28; 9:1) and
- Joining two marriage partners, a man and a woman as “one flesh” (Genesis 2:24; Mark 10:8; 1 Corinthians 6:16).
These are the ONLY two reasons why sex was created. Anything outside of this is a perversion!
There are so many perversions everywhere now. Let us look at some of them.
– FORNICATION:
Fornication is any sexual activity between two unmarried people of the opposite sex done outside the boundaries of marriage.
Whether in courtship or with someone you are cohabiting with (co-habitation is sin) or sex with an under-aged person. This is fornication.
– ADULTERY.
Adultery is any voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a person who is not his or her spouse
– HOMOSEXUALITY
Homosexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction, or sexual behavior between people of the same gender.
– INCEST
Incest is a sexual activity between family members or close relatives.
– PROSTITUTION
Prostitution is the practice or occupation of engaging in sexual activity with someone for payment.
– BESTIALITY
Bestiality is a sexual intercourse between a person and an animal.
– RAPE
Rape is a type of sexual assault involving sexual intercourse or other forms of sexual penetration carried out against a person without their consent.
– VOYEURISM
Voyeurism is defined as an interest in observing unsuspecting people while they undress, are naked, or engage in sexual activities
– POLYGAMY
This is the practice or custom of having more than one wife or husband at the same time.
– MASTURBATION
This is the stimulation of the genitals by oneself for sexual pleasure
– SEX WITH TOYS OR ANY OBJECT
This is an act of using an object to increase one’s sexual pleasure.
– HEART ADULTERY
Heart adultery is the act of experiencing lustful emotions, thoughts, desires, and intentions toward another person in committing actual physical adultery with that person. The only thing lacking would be the expression of those mental processes in physical action.
– PORNOGRAPHY
Pornography is any printed or visual material containing the explicit description or display of sexual organs or activity, intended to stimulate erotic, unholy feelings.
– IMMORAL JOKES AND SPEECHES on the phone, via text messages, via video messages, send of naked photos.
How do you feel reading all of these???
My own heart feels so heavy!
Oh what a bad guy the devil is!
He saw the beautiful design of sex and turned around like this?
And perverted it in different forms like this?????
- THE DESTINY-DESTROYING
Oh yes! All these things we have mentioned about destroys destiny!
They defile glory!
They delay the manifestations of the sons of God!
They kill marriages!
We will still look at this extensively as we go on but I hope you have started joining all the words together now and they have started making sense to you.
- THE NOW
You might check your life right NOW trying to scan your life to see if there’s any of these sexual perversions there. And you might find one, two or more present right now.
You might find one or two present in your husband’s/fiance’s life right now.
You might find find one or two in your friends or families right now.
You need a total, immediate escape from these evil death traps that seek to destroy your destinies!!!!
- THE TOMORROW
And you might search your life and thankfully, none of these things are found right now. You, your husband, fiancé, siblings, parents, loved ones are all living sexually pure right now. Oh, glory be to God!
But what of tomorrow?
What if the Devil, the enemy of your soul introduces one of these into your life or into your husband or even your children? In the future? What will you do???
Many thing about tomorrow we don’t know or understand. Many things about tomorrow, we can’t
But we can rescue our families. We can secure our homes, families and marriages by what??
PRAYING AHEAD!
Oh yes! Prayers can go ahead of us into tomorrow.
We can ride on the wings of prayers into our tomorrow, safe, sound, secure, with no fear for attacks, manipulations or traps of any type of sexual perversion!
Amen?
And that is what we are doing today.
We are looking beyond ourselves.
We are looking beyond the present!
You must have heard of marriages that crumble after 40 years of marriage because of adultery, right?
So, that’s to tell you the devil doesn’t rest.
The number of years you have spent as a happy couple doesn’t scare him.
Send prayers ahead!!!
Your future husband is somewhere right now. Maybe he’s been keeping himself for many years, for God, for you. But maybe today, one Jezebel, destiny-destroying Jezebel would go pay him a visit to terminate his purity and deflate his glory.
Won’t you stand in the gap for him???
And see that innocent child you have. He will grow up o. Aren’t you aware the Devil hates his glorious destiny? Aren’t you scared of releasing him without cover into this highly sexualised world?
Won’t you send prayers ahead into his future?
Won’t you help him win battles over all these sexual perversions before he even gets there?
This is why I pity women who don’t pray!
They are busy doing every other thing except praying!
They are busy pursuing ministry and purpose outside their marriages and homes.
They don’t know the weight of the works that have been laid before them.
They get into prayers and doze off.
All day long, they sit before the TV, living on the social media, blind to the activities of the enemies
They only know the road to their prayer altars after the enemy has struck!
Foolishness!
Oh God, chase foolishness out of my heart!!!!
Fill me with wisdom, oh Lord!
Do you think you are infallible because you are a woman?
Ah, women also fall into sexual perversions o. Don’t you trust yourself! Fall upon the Lord and ask Him to pump in strength and victories into you today and tomorrow.
The same thing for your husband. Men are the targets of demonia attacks ooooooo. If someone is shot on the hand, there’s hope for survival. On the leg, there’s hope. Even in the tummy, there can still be hope but you see the head ehn, the chances of survival are simply…..
Even if the shot person survives, many times, the whole body is already withered. Many parts of the body remain useless.
Won’t you protect your head in prayers????
Don’t think your husband is infallible. Take him into the Blood of Jesus and hide him there.
His fall will affect the whole family.
His destruction is gonna shake you terribly.
Save him woman.
Save him now and tomorrow!!!
Both of you should hold each other so tightly and send prayers into your future so that the Lord keeps supplying escape from sexual perversions whenever they come knocking!!!!
Do the same for your lovely siblings!
Do the same for your parents!
Do the same for your pastors!
And those people you love so dearly.
So that sexual perversions, this ugly demon, will not destroy their destinies!

Having understood our topic to an extent, let’s take a look at these subjects a little more closely:
Let’s us look at our text:
PROVERBS 6: 25-33 (MSG)
Don’t lustfully fantasize on her beauty, nor be taken in by her bedroom eyes.
You can buy an hour with a prostitute for a loaf of bread, but a promiscuous woman may well eat you alive. (Sexual perversions will cost you something special, even the essence of your existence! Your destiny! Your glory!)
Can you build a fire in your lap and not burn your pants? (Sexual perversion is a fire. And fire burns. It burns to ashes)
Can you walk barefoot on hot coals and not get blisters? (Sexual perversions are hot. They leave you and your family in blisters. Hot, bleeding, fluid-exuding blisters!)
It’s the same when you have sex with your neighbor’s wife: Touch her and you’ll pay for it. No excuses.
Hunger is no excuse for a thief to steal; When he’s caught he has to pay it back, even if he has to put his whole house in hock. (You will pay for sexual perversions one day one day, even if it means paying for them with the whole house you have laboured to build all your life)
Adultery is a brainless act, soul-destroying, self-destructive; Expect a bloody nose, a black eye, and a reputation ruined for good. (Sexual perversions leave you with terrible terrible scars)

THE DANGERS OF SEXUAL PERVERSIONS
Praying about and against sexual pervertions is very important, considering the havoc it has wreaked in many lives, and the present and eternal consequences inherent therein.
It is so serious that many souls have gone to hell through that hellish path unprepared.
In fact, the scripture considers a man or woman who commits immorality as a foolish person because of the aftermath implications.
Whoever commits adultery/fornication joins himself in infinity with the individual spiritually. At that point, destiny is stolen and destroyed without the knowledge of the sinful partners.
The reason why there is misbehaviour and hardship in the lives of people who live in immorality is because of the spiritual transaction that takes place on the bed of immorality.
Whatever evil happens in the life of a sinful partner is automatically transferred.
Many have sold their birthright at the altar of sexual immorality. Such persons end up with sufferings, strange occurrences, curses, woes, and myriads of evils.
Precious visions, destinies and dreams are wasted in immorality.
Some married men and women have brought unprecedented curses and problems upon their families, occasioned by the sin of adultery and other sexual perversions.
The world of the youth is polluted today and overtaken by the sin of fornication. This is the shortest way devised by the devil to take young ones to hell untimely.
There is no gain in immorality! It hurts!
The sting of pains that accompanies it is indescribable.
Men of God lose their anointings through this medium.
The devil hijacks glory through this means.
The enemy rearranges the paths of God’s children who stray into sexual perversions.
Sexual perversions are simply things we should not venture into!
They are so destructive!
Sexual perversions are one of the dangerous sins that saps energy and makes a mess of one’s spiritual life.
Samson had a bitter experience that no wise believer would like to go through.
He lost his power, vision, heavenly assignment, destiny and ministry on the lap of a harlot, Delilah.
He did not live to tell the story!
Many careless souls are today grinding in the prison house like Samson because of immorality, while some are already entangled in it and find it very difficult to break loose. They are under the yoke and live as slaves.
Be careful who you make friends with. Be careful who your husband makes friends with. Be his guide, humbly counsel him. Guard your kids from children with exposures. Some kids are exposed to sexual perversions as young as 4-5 years old.
Jonadab was a bad influence on Amnon. He influenced and advised him to sleep with his sister, Tema. Amnon had a brief moment of pleasure but died afterwards. He paid with his blood. This is the resultant effect of sexual perversion.
Sexual perversion has reduced the glory of Christianity and Christian ministries.
It has forced many preachers out of the pulpit; those who are persisting only do so under a cover of a fading anointing.
We may remember the tragic situation that developed in David’s life.
David!
A holy man of God!
A man devoted to the Lord from His youth!
The Goliath-slaying David!
This man fell flat before a naked woman!
Nothing could fall him but the rod in his pants!
He couldn’t control that!
Do you recall how he called for Bathsheba and committed adultery with her?
In order to cover his tracks, David had her husband, Uriah, murdered. Thus, David was guilty of adultery, deception, lying, murder, and other assorted sins.
Oh David!
He couldn’t have thought he could do that years before when he was a humble shepherd.
Now he was rich, in control, a king!
A king that was supposed to be in battle, fighting and leading his troops to war. He was busying.
Oh how resting destroys the Christians!
Resting when we should be fighting!
I am not saying you should not rest physically. No way! I am saying we are not allowed to rest spiritually.
We might be physically lying in our beds but our spirits are warring. We need to train our spirits to that level!
Summarily, sexual perversions are:
-killers of destiny
-destroyers of glory.
-demolishers of marriages.
-caging spirits
-destroyers of God’s temples
-failures and disasters introducers
-pain and suffering generator
-eternal doom ushers
-setback and backwardness organizers to many people.
The spirit of fornication and adultery are spirits that offer nothing good than evil.
HOW CAN WE OVERCOME SEXUAL PERVERSIONS NOW AND TOMORROW?
- STOP RELYING ON YOURSELF. RELY ON GOD THROUGH DAILY PRAYER! IF YOU DO NOT PRAY EVERYDAY, YOU’D BE A PREY EVERYDAY! MAKE A DECISION TO ENSURE YOU PRAY EVERYDAY.
- STOP EXPOSING YOURSELF TO SEXUAL PERVERSIONS. ANY TV SHOW, MOVIE ETC. NO MATTER HOW INTERESTING WHICH EXALTS FORNICATION AND ANY OF THE PERVERSIONS LISTED ABOVE SHOULD NOT BE FOUND IN YOUR LIBRARY! DON’T WATCH THEM! DON’T LIKE THEM! EVEN CELEBRITIES AND ONLINE PEEPS THAT PROMOTE THESE SHOULD BE AVOIDED!
- SACRIFICE YOUR SEXUALITY TO GOD EVERYDAY AS A LIVING SACRIFICE. CONSISTENTLY DO IT!
- STOP STAYING WITH THE OPPOSITE SEX ALONE! DON’T YOU DARE TRUST YOURSELF OR THE PERSON NO MATTER HOW SPIRITUAL HE SEEMS. GIVE NO ROOM TO THE DEVIL!
- READ YOUR BIBLE EVERY DAY IF YOU WANT TO GROW! THAT IS THE FOOD TO YOUR SOUL. YOU ARE FAINTING BECAUSE YOUR SOUL ISN’T WELL FED!
- GET BUSY. AN IDLE HAND IS THE DEVIL’S WORKSHOP. STOP STAYING INDOORS ALL ALONE. KEEP COMPANY WITH GODLY FRIENDS AND SISTERS THAT THE LORD LEADS YOU TO.
- DON’T JUST READ THE WORD OF GOD, OBEY IT!
Psalms 119:9 says: How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
Can you see????
It is as simple as that. Praying daily. Daily Bible Study. Obedience of what we learn in the Bible. Repeat the next day and the next. And the next. Giving no room for any break or rest.
For the married or engaged:
HOW TO PROTECT YOUR HOME FROM SEXUAL PERVERSIONS NOW AND TOMORROW
- ENJOY QUALITY SEX WITH YOUR SPOUSE. STOP STARVING EACH OTHER.
- DON’T JOKE WITH A DAILY PRAYER TIME TOGETHER.
- PUT DISCIPLINES IN PLACE.
- FOLLOW THE DISCIPLINES JUDICIOUSLY
- NEVER BE TOO BUSY FOR YOUR CHILDREN. BE PRESENT AT HOME. MAKE THEM FRIENDS. KEEP THEM MODEST AND DECENT. LET THEM BE IN DIFFERENT ROOMS IF THEY OF OPPOSITE SEXES.
- GO TO PLACES TOGETHER WITH YOUR SPOUSE. BE BY HIM!
- MEET OPPOSITE SEX IN PUBLIC.
- BE OPEN TO EACH OTHER: DISCUSS THE SEXUAL ADVANCES YOU ARE GETTING WITH YOUR SPOUSE.
- BE A FRIEND OF THE BIBLE. STUDY IT EVERY DAY EVEN IF IT IS FOR THIRTY MINUTES. DON’T MISS IT!
- WATCH THE FRIENDS YOU ALL KEEP. YOU, YOUR SPOUSE, YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR SIBLINGS ETC.
- RELY ON THE HOLY SPIRIT AS A COUPLE
- STOP TRUSTING YOURSELF. WHEN YOU SEE TEMPTATIONS, FLEE!
- PRAY HOT PRAYERS FOR YOUR TOMORROW
- STOP GETTING SUSPICIOUS AND CONTROLLING OF YOUR SPOUSE. INSTEAD, GET SPIRITUAL! GET PRAYERFUL! TRUST HIM!
- DO NOT BE IGNORANT OF THE DEVICES OF THE ENEMIES! THAT’S YOUR REAL ENEMY. FIGHT HIM!

Let me show you this story before we pray. It is a story that alights the danger of resting when we should be fighting; seeking pleasure when we should be on the move; trusting spiritual men over God’s instructions; disobeying God when we should hold His commands to our hearts. And the consequences of doing all of this.
1KINGS 13:11-25
The old prophet went after the man of God. He found him sitting under an oak tree and asked him, “Are you the man of God who just came from Judah?”
The man of God answered, “Yes, I am.”
So the old prophet said, “Please come home and eat with me.”
But the man of God said, “I cannot go home with you. I cannot eat or drink anything in this place.
The Lord said to me, ‘You must not eat or drink anything in that place, and you must go back on a different road.’”
The old prophet lied to him and said, “But I am a prophet like you. And an angel from the Lord came to me and told me to bring you home and give you something to eat and drink.”
So the man of God went to the old prophet’s house and ate and drank with him.
While they were sitting at the table, the Lord spoke to the old prophet,
And the old prophet spoke to the man of God from Judah. He said, “The Lord said that you did not obey him! You did not do what he commanded.
He told you not to eat or drink anything in this place, but you came back here and ate and drank. So your body will not be buried in your family grave.”
The man of God finished eating and drinking. Then the old prophet saddled the man’s donkey for him and the man left.
On the way home, a lion attacked and killed the man of God. His body was lying on the road while the lion stood next to it. The donkey stood nearby.
Some people came walking by and saw the body and the lion standing by it. They went into the city where the old prophet lived and told people what they had seen on the road.
I know you can draw out lessons from the story yourself. I’d just emphasize that you should stop sleeping lest sexual perversions catch up with you!
Stop sleeping lest sexual perversions swallow up your home!
Stop enjoying pleasures when you should be mounting pressures against the devil in your prayer room.
1Timothy 5:6 says: But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.
Arise ladies and begin to fight for your freedom from the sexual perversiojs that have taken a hold of you already.
Or the ones waiting to entrap you.
The ones into which your fiancé/husband/children/parents/siblings/in-laws/loved ones have fallen into.
Or the ones waiting to ensnare them!
Arise like a lioness woman and defend your territory, dear lady!
Numbers 23:24 says ‘Behold, a people rises like a lioness, And as a lion it lifts itself; It will not lie down until it devours the prey, And drinks the blood of the slain.”
Ayayayyayayaya!
Sexual perversions, this lioness will not lie down until you are devoured, defeated and uprooted from her territory!
Enough is enough!
All your plans for my life, home, marriage, ministry, even in the future are neutralized!
Like a lioness, I arise!

Praise Him because your home will not be swallowed up because of any sexual perversion of any sort.
