DAY 28: BE RECOVERED AND RESTORED TO ME!

TEXTS: Job 42:10, Joel 2:25,26

BIBLE READING: 1 Samuel 30

Welcome to day 28, sisters. God has been so good to us since the beginning of this program.

We thank God for all the juicy testimonies we’ve been recording and will still record. Of a truth, God is faithful.

Sisters, it’s just few days to go and God is not done with us yet. So, it’s not time to relent. We keep pressing in prayers till we get all our blessings in Jesus Name.

Today, we will be looking at a very important topic which centers on RESTORATION & RECOVERY.

Restoration is the process of bringing an object back to its original state.

Recovery is the act or process of regaining or repossession of something lost.

In essence, before we can talk of restoration or recovery, it means something has been tampered with or lost.

A lot Christians lose so many great things daily 😞.

Many Christians have lost their birthrights, blessings, inheritances, etc.

Their losses occur from factors such as:

1) SINFULNESS: Sin is number one factor that causes lots of Christians to lose many spiritual and physical blessings.

A little indulging in sin here and there.

A little addiction of pornography, lust and masturbation.

A little lie here and there.

Some Christians have lost their spiritual sights as a result of all they’ve fed their eyes with.

For some, spiritual complacency, laziness, lethargy, etc has caused them to miss or lose God’s great blessings for them.

The children of Israel lost so many battles as a result of their inconsistent spiritual states.

David lost many things as a result of the little sin of adultery with Bathsheba.

2) CARELESSNESS: A lot of Christians have lost great opportunities, virtues, etc through their carelessness.

Careless talking, careless visitation, etc.

Dinah embarked on a careless visitation which caused her to lost her virginity and which in turn led to the murder of many.

Michal became barren as a result of her careless and untamed speech.

3) PRAYERLESSNESS:

Another important thing that has caused loss of great things for many believers is inability to pray and pray effectively.

Many are so cold and lackadaisical about prayers.

Many are waiting and only relying on the prayers of their parents or pastors.

The truth is when we don’t pray, there are some things we will never get and some things will easily be taken away from us.

4) PRIDE: Pride is deadly.

Satan lost his position as a result of pride.

Saul also lost his position as a result of pride.

5) ACTIVITIES OF THE DEVIL:

The Bible tells us that the thief came to steal, kill and destroy.

And the greatest thief of all time, the devil is roaming around seeking who to steal from, kill and destroy.

We could see an example of this in the life of Job. Satan touched him and he lost all he had.

Then, how do we recover all that have been lost?

On one occasion when I was small, my mum sent me on an errand and sachet of MILO was part of what I had to buy. As I returned home, I never knew that the beverage had fallen down.

My mum wasn’t happy with me and I think I cried on that day.

I went back and frantically searched everywhere for it.

It was so difficult to locate because it fell on a grass and of course the colour of the Milo sachet was almost like the colour of the grass 😁.

But eventually, I got it. Oh the joy that filled my soul.

You will realize that when we lose something precious, we place great efforts in finding it back.

That’s the same way God wants us to seriously get back everything that we have lost.

BUT HOW?

1) THROUGH REPENTANCE:

You’ve got to cry out to God and say “Father restore me back to yourself!”

Break down all barriers that block you from having a meaningful relationship with God.

David cried for the Mercy of God *(Read Psalms 51).*

Remember, no matter where you have been or what you have done the mercy of the God is able to reach you if you will call upon Him.

2) FERVENT PRAYING

Praying can never be overemphasized.

Of course by now, every BUD member should know that PRAYER is the master key.

You shouldn’t joke with prayers sisters.

It’s by prayer we take hold of our possessions.

It’s by prayers (and not by struggle) that we contend with the enemy and get back all he stole from us.

3) FAITH

*And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive – Matthew 21:22.*

The woman that lost her child in 2 kings 4 had strong faith.

Her words were full of faith. She took action of faith by going to see the man of God, Elisha.

What have you lost dear sister?

You need to recover them all.

The church also needs restoration and recovery.

The nation needs restoration and recovery.

📍COVER YOUR ENVIRONMENT WITH THE BLOOD OF JESUS. HE CHARGE OF ANY POWER THAT MIGHT WANT TO HINDER YOUR PRAYER.

NOW, WHAT HAVE YOU LOST?

WHAT ARE THOSE THINGS YOU’VE PENNED DOWN IN YOUR JOURNAL?

📍BEGIN TO CLAIM THEM BACK NOW.

OH LORD, I RECOVER ALL THE LOST Gifts, Strength Power Virtues Grace Opportunities, Spiritual sight, Foresight, Spiritual sensitivity, Courage, Vigour, Glory, Focus, Peace of mind, Joy of salvation, vision, etc IN JESUS NAME.

Take your time and mention them one after the other and pray fervently.

📍NEXT, WE SHALL BE CARVING OUT EVERYTHING WE’VE LOST WITH THE FOLLOWING SCRIPTURES.

Personally draw out as many prayer points as you can from the Scriptures and pray fervently.

Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

And the LORD restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Then the Lord your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you.

DID YOU GET AS MANY PRAYER POINTS FROM THOSE SCRIPTURES. ENSURE YOU PRAY THEM IN. REMEMBER THAT WE CARVE OUR WORLDS THROUGH WORDS.

NOW, PRAY THESE FOLLOWING PRAYERS AGGRESSIVELY WITH FAITH..

– I recover back all the grounds that I had lost to the enemy, in Jesus’ name.

– I command all the damages done to my life by demonic prophecies, witchcraft spells and curses, personal negative confessions, household wickedness (add more) to be repaired, in the name of Jesus.

– I command hundred fold restoration of everything the enemy has taken from me, in Jesus’ name.

– All my possessions that have been captured in the spirit realm, I release them into the physical by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.

– LORD, restore my wasted efforts, money, health, strength and blessings, in Jesus’ name.

– I bind every strongman holding my inheritances captive, in the name of Jesus.

– I recover all my stolen properties from the covens of darkness, in Jesus’ name.

– Father, help me to see my mistakes and faults and to do all in my power to overcome and correct them, in the name of Jesus.

– Let all the potentials and gifts that will make me great which have been stolen from me be restored to me now in the name of Jesus.

– I break in pieces every covenant or curse hindering divine restoration in my life in Jesus name.

– I destroy every covenant or power that gives the enemy upper hand to take from me the blessings God has given to me in the name of Jesus Christ.

– Father, give me the power and grace to preserve all my recovered and restored blessings in Jesus Name.

– All my possessions in the north, south, east or west, I command you to come to me now, in Jesus’ name.

– I receive the power to pursue, overtake and recover all my lost goods in the name of Jesus.

– I destroy every hedge the enemy has put over my blessings to prevent me from receiving them in Jesus Name

– Father, carry out all the repairs that are necessary in my life in Jesus name.

–  I command all doors of good things and my blessings closed against me by the enemy to be opened, in the name of Jesus.

– Father, I pray, remove any person or personality sitting on my blessings, miracles, breakthrough, prosperity, finance, marriage, job or good health, in the name of Jesus Christ.

– Father, we pray that Nigeria will recover all what she has lost in Jesus Name (Take some minutes to truly pray for Nigeria). Pray for your country as well if you are not a Nigerian.

– Father, let there be restoration of revival and  power in the church in Jesus Name. (Spend some time to pray for the church as well).

– Lord, I thank you for the restoration of my lost glory, virtues, gift, blessings, etc
