DAY 26: CALLING FORTH MY MARITAL REHOBOTH

TEXT: GENESIS 26:22

BIBLE STUDY: EPHESIAN 6:10-20

He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, “Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land.”

Rehoboth is a land of flourishing!!

It is a land of rest!

After being fought for some time, you get to a place of comfort and rest and deliverance and joy and sigh with so much satisfaction – I am now in Rehoboth!

So, that is where we are looking at today.

We will be praying for our marriages. In actual fact, we will be calling our marriages forth!

A kind of marriage where ‘no one quarreled over it’

A kind that will come with so much satisfaction, we’d exclaim ‘Now the LORD has given us room’

And if God gives you room, Hahahahaa, who can ‘ungive’ you?

Also, a kind of marriage where  “we will flourish in the land.”

Can we quickly confession this verse of the Scriptures below:

‘For the Lord God will help me, so shall I not be confounded, I have set my face like a flint, and I know I shall not be put to shame.’

Confess it three times confidently!

Say this prayer very quickly:

*The Lord shall order my steps to the place of my marital rest in the Mighty Name of Jesus*

Amen!

Are you scared?

You don’t know who your husband is but you are waiting so fervently for him?

You’ve prayed but you are seeing nothing?

You are being pressured everywhere and it is getting at you?

You even almost got married to a wrong person because of pressures?

You desire strongly to love and be loved?

It is your desire to have godly children that you will raise in a godly, homely, atmosphere?

It is your desire to serve God with your husband and children, bringing glory to God?

You are tired of the loneliness?

Everyone around you is married but nothing is forth coming for you?

No more stories, sister, today, Call forth your Rehoboth!

Not a marriage you will enter and start crying ‘I should have waited oooo’

No!

Not the one you will enter and cry everyday

Not the one you will enter and die!

Not the one you will enter and be attacked!

Not the one you will enter and lose to home-snatchers!

Not the one you will enter and ask ‘where is my God?

Sisters, let me show you a verse of the Scripture very quickly:

Hebrews 11:3 says: Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear

Let it break it down for you:

Through faith and your words, your marriages can be framed!!!!

Things that you cannot see, you can ring them forth through faith and your words!

That was exactly what God did in that verse of the Scripture and as His children, we have the same authority.

Sis, can you do a quick faith-filled thing, please ?

Something you will come back to soon and say ‘oh my, I said in faith and it is so!’?

Okay!

Bring out your prayer journal and write the date you DESIRE to be married.

God, I desire to be married to my God-chosen husband on the………

Believe it when you do it! Never doubt it! God will do it!

Let’s do another quick one:

I want you to write 10 fiery prayers in your prayer journal for your hubby-to-be.

Declare what you what him to be, cast out all you don’t want him to be, write those prayers out and send them into his heart like arrows. They will penetrate and yield much fruits!

My husband to be…. I pray for you that….

Pray from your heart for him because he will feel it. Whether you have meet him (engaged) or nor, they will happen to him because God knows him!

I prayed fervently for my husband during my single days and in actual fact, the Lord visited him as I had asked. Do the same now for a ‘tomorrow’ testimony!

GO WITH THESE:

1.  God still leads!! He still leads! He is interested in leading you if you yield to Him! God will lead you if you yield to Him!

2. Be still. The Lord is never too late.

3. Work on your appearance. Don’t appear shabby and don’t dress scantily. Appear modestly and beautifully.

4. Stop advertising yourself on the social media. It is not necessary. No need to say things like ‘See lips na’ ‘Future hubby, come o, I don ready’ ‘Who go carry this fine girl dey go?’

They are unnecessary advertisements. The person who you should go to is God, not anyone on the social media. The people you will attract there most likely will be unserious. But when you go God, you get it real and beautiful! God still leads!

5.  Work on your character. That might be why there is this wait till now. Stop getti g angry easily! Stop insulting and cursing everyone. Stop gossiping and turning people’s heart against one another.

Confess your bad characters to God and ask Him to purify you.

6.  Stop reading from ungodly ‘christian’ marriage counselors. They are everyone on the social media. They might parade themselves as happily married but they are there to sow evil seeds in your minds.

Teaching things that are against the Scriptures, tell you nothing like submission and respect in marriage. Telling you things that are worldly as if they are godly.

Watch what you read and watch! They might corrupt your mind and you’d set your heart too high.

7.  Forgive those who’ve jilted you or those who have snatched your ‘man’ from you.

8. Make good use of your single life. Be a hot cake, not a liability. Work to be a plus to that man, an advantage to him, not a prayer point!

Work on your spiritual life. God will not give a fire extinguisher to His feiry son!

Get professional qualified in your jobs and businesses

Work for the Lord and be impactful to everyone who comes in contact with you.

9.  Start practising married life with your family and friends. If you cannot tolerate them, love them, not get tired of them, not get bored of them, you still have a lot to work on!

Practise with them. Intentionally love and tolerate them! Intentionally have fun with them and enjoy them

If not, you will have issues when you get married and there’d be nowhere to run to.

10. Read good Christian books on marriage and garner from many godly people’s experiences.

God is ready to choose for you!

He’s ready to remove whatever veil is covering your face from being seen and loved.

Never get so desperate that you’d end up in the wrong hands and get your destinies messed up! Never!

OH LORD, GIVE ME A HOME WHERE WE’D LOVE AND TEACH THE BIBLE. MAKE ME LOVE THE SCRIPTURE NOW AND TEACH IT, SO THAT WHEN I GET MARRIED TO YOUR CHOSEN MAN FOR MY LIFE, IT’D EASILY FLOW FROM WITHIN, NOT WITH A STRUGGLE, OH LORD!

Homes where the Master’s will is sought,

OH LORD, GIVE ME A HOME WHERE WE WILL SEE YOUR WILL IN EVERYTHING WE DO! WE’D PUT YOU AT THE CENTER AND ALLOW YOU LEAD US, LORD!

Homes crowned with beauty Your love has wrought;

OH LORD, GIVE ME A HOME THAT WILL BE FILLED WITH THE BEAUTY OF THE WORKS YOUR LOVE HAS DONE. ANYONE WHO SEES MY HOME WILL KNOW OF A TRUTH THAT YOU LOVE US AND HAVE DONE US WELL, LORD JESUS!

Homes where the father is true and strong,

GIVE ME A HOME, LORD WHERE MY HUSBAD WILL BE TRUE, TRUSTING AND LOVING AND WHERE HE’D BE STRONG IN ALL RAMIFICATIONS OF HIS LIFE TO LOVE, LEAD AND PROTECT US.

Homes that are free from the blight of wrong,

HELP ME LORD TO BUILD A PERFECT HOME. A HOME THAT WOULD LOVE SO BEAUTIFUL, IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO SEE ANY WRONG.

Homes that are joyous with love and song;
OH, LORD, I DESIRE A HOME THAT IS FILLED WITH LOVE, AND JOYFUL SONGS. A HOME WHERE I AM NOT SCARED TO SING. A HOME THAT WILL BE FILLED WITH  JOY, JOY THAT WILL BE SO CONTAGIOUS TO ANYONE WHO COMES IN CONTACT WITH US.

Homes where the mother, in caring quest,

I DESIRE A HOME WHERE I  WILL BE A MOTHER. I WILL NOT BE BARREN. I WILL BE FERTILE. I WILL HAVE WONDERFUL CHILDREN IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

GIVE ME A HOME WHERE MY CHILDREN WILL BE TEACHABLE! WHERE THEY’D BE LED AND WILLING TO BE LED! THEY’D FEAR AND LOVE YOU, LORD!

Christ in His beauty who loves them so,

AS THEY ARE TEACHABLE, WITH YOUR FEAR AND LOVE IN THEIR HEARTS, HELP ME TO LET THEM KNOW YOU, LORD. AND TELL THEM HOW MUCH YOU LOVE THEM!

Every utterance of “unless” and “except” spoken against my getting marriage, by the blood of Jesus.  I nullify you in Jesus name.

Every power pushing me or deceiving me into wrong relationships by fire by power, die in Jesus name.

Any battle from my foundation raging against the manifestation of my marriage, be destroyed by holy ghost fire in Jesus name.

Every self battle raging my marriage, die in Jesus name.

Every activity of hell against me through dreams, scatter in the name of Jesus.

You spirit of marital stagnation, I reject you in Jesus name.

Every anti-manifestation spirit in my life, the Lord resolve you!  I cast you out in Jesus name.

Oh Lord, baptize me with the spirit of favour, in the name of Jesus.

Holy Spirit, be my guide in choosing a life partner, in the name of Jesus.

I release my marriage from the influence, control and domination of household wickedness, in Jesus’ name.

Oh Lord, let the joy of the enemy over my marital life be converted to sorrow, in the name of Jesus.

I loose angels, to go and create breakthrough for my marriage, in the name of Jesus.

I receive the mandate to put to flight every enemy of my marital breakthrough, in the name of Jesus.

You devil, take your legs away from my marital affairs, in the name of Jesus.

I bind and paralyse every spirit of error, in the name of Jesus.

I bind every spirit of demonic postponement, in the name of Jesus.

I break all consequences of parental sins on my marital destiny, in the name of Jesus.

Oh Lord, make everything the enemy has

I release myself from the umbrella of any family marital captivity, in the name of Jesus.

Every inherited demonic deposit working against my marital success, be flushed out by the blood of Jesus.

I break and loose myself from every collective marital evil covenant, in the name of Jesus.

Every marital foundational strongman attached to my life, die, in the name of Jesus.

Oh Lord, let any rod of the wicked rising up against my destiny, be rendered impotent for my sake, in the name of Jesus.

Every evil family tree working against my marriage, be uprooted by fire, in the name of Jesus.

Every ancestral problem passed down into my life, receive divine solution, in the name of Jesus.

Every marital curse of failure operating in my family, be broken by the blood of Jesus.

I pull down every demonic stronghold rising up against me, in the name of Jesus.

Oh Lord, help me to identify and deal with any recurring negative cycle responsible for my marital delay, in the name of Jesus.

I break every satanic cycle responsible for my marital delay, in the name of Jesus.

Every effect of parental curses upon my marriage, be cancelled by the blood of Jesus.

I paralyse the handiwork of household enemies and envious agent concerning my marital life, in the name of Jesus.

Every human agent hindering and working against my marriage, be exposed and die, in the name of Jesus.

All boasting powers delegated against my marriage, be silenced, in the name of Jesus.
