PRAYING FOR MY FUTURE HUSBAND

Sisters, if there is anything you must never joke with, it is prayer. Prayer never dies. Every prayer you whisper in faith is a seed. What you sow now is what you will meet tomorrow. If you plant little, you will harvest little. If you sow much, you will meet a future loaded with answers. The prayers you pray today are not empty words. They are investments into your destiny, into your future home, into the man you will marry- ‘your future husband’ and even into the generations coming after you.

Pray for Your Future Husband! Stop Waiting!

Marriage will come, one way or another, I tell you. Shae it is marriage na, you will marry, sis! But will it come prepared? I mean, will it come ready-made?

Do you think your future husband is just automatically becoming a godly man somewhere out there? Do you assume God is fighting all his battles while you stay silent? Do you believe you’re automatically becoming a wise, loving wife without prayer?

Sis, life is not automatic. That you are God’s child doesn’t approve laziness and lack of spiritual intelligence. God will never do for you, what you can do for yourself! Can you fetch water into the pots? Yes! But can you turn it into wine? No! Okay! Then, do your own part and I’d do the impossible part! That is the way of the new covenant, sis! You roll the stones away and He calls Lazarus forth! He opens your blind eyes and you go and wash in the Pool of Siloam! Oh yes, this is the way of God! 

My sisters, the tomorrow you do not pray for WILL as a matter of fact wait for you unsealed and unprepared. But the future you hand to God in prayer will be covered, guarded, and fruitful. Prayer is where battles are won long before the wedding day!!! Prayer is where you water the ground you hope to walk on.

This challenge should not make you blush or anything like that. It is not a mushy, romantic or cute endeavour. It is warfare. You are standing on the walls of your future home and crying out: “Lord, prepare him. Protect him. Deliver him. Build him. Shape our love and our destiny.”

The Praying For My Future Husband 10-Minute Daily Challenge

So, from today (around every 5pm Nigerian time), we will be gathering on thebudfamily.org to pray intentionally for our future husbands.
Every single day, we will release a focused, fiery prayer point that will guide you.

Each prayer will take about 10 minutes. Isn’t that too short? Oh, but what power is embedded in that! It is enough to do daily, powerful enough to change everything. You will be praying about so many things for your man including for instance:

• His walk with God, character, and spiritual maturity

• His freedom from past battles and generational bondage

• His courage, leadership, and readiness for marriage and fatherhood

• Protection of your future union from evil plans and delay

• Perfect timing and divine connection between you both

Why Should I do the Praying for My Future Husband Challenge?

Prayer works. Prayer shapes marriages before they begin. Prayer covers the man you will marry while he is still becoming. Prayer breaks chains, destroys patterns, and builds homes on Christ before the foundation is laid.

When you pray:

• You invite God to prepare him to lead, love, and raise children for the Lord.

• You stand against forces that would delay, derail, or destroy your union.

• You prepare your own heart to be wise, strong, pure, and yielded.

How to Join

1. Visit thebudfamily.org every day in October.

2. Get the day’s prayer point for your future husband.

3. Spend at least 10 intentional minutes praying it through.

4. Share the daily flyer and link with your sisters and friends so they can pray too.

You can set an alarm or calendar reminder so your 10 minutes with God becomes a holy daily appointment. Oh yes! 

Finally…

Don’t take life lightly, sis. Don’t hope marriage will “just work out.” Pray!!! Pray while you wait. Pray before you meet him. Pray while God is still shaping both of you.

The way you lay your bed is how you will lie on it. The future you water with prayer today will meet you prepared, protected, and blessed.
