EXPOSING ASSYRIA’S SCHEMES

JUICY JULY 2025: ABBA FATHER

DAY 17: EXPOSING ASSYRIA’S SCHEMES

TEXT: ISAIAH 36

BIBLE STUDY: JOHN 17

ECHOES OF TRUTH

Welcome to Day 17 of Juicy July 2025. It’s another time in our Father’s Presence. He is our Maker. We were made for Him, for His glory. Turn your heart to Him right now and bless His Holy Name. Tell Him you see Him, you hear Him, you cherish Him, and you love Him. Let Him know He is all you have, and outside Him, there is no other. Bless Him.

We are back again in the place of prayer today. And no, we won’t be tired. This is our calling. This is our life. The enemy is not taking a break over your matter. Why then should you rest?

Declare to yourself three times:

In the name of Jesus, I won’t be tired, I won’t rest, I won’t be weary until the Spirit be poured upon me from on high, and my wilderness be a fruitful field, and my fruitful field be counted for a forest. Then judgment shall dwell in my wilderness, and righteousness remain in my fruitful field.

Now, let’s stir our spirits and charge the atmosphere with this prayer song:

Spirit of the Living God – Vertical Worship

AUDIO:

Spirit of the living God
We only want to hear Your voice
We’re hanging on every word

Spirit of the living God
We want to know You more and more
We’re hanging on every word
Come and speak to us, oh Lord

Cause when You speak and when You move
When You do what only You can do
It changes us
It changes what we see and what we seek
When You come in the room
When You do what only You can do
It changes us
You’re changing everything

We’re leaning in to all You are
Everything else can wait
Come now and breathe upon our hearts
Come now and have Your way

When You move, You move all our fears
When You move, You move us to tears
When You fall, we fall on our knees
When You fall, we fall at Your feet

Say this prayer from your heart:
Holy Spirit, I am here again today. Please speak to me. I want You to fall upon me afresh. Change what I see and change what I seek. Do what You alone can do. Change everything about my life, my circumstances, my situation, my experiences. Change my past, my present, and my future. Breathe upon my life. Influence my life. Let it align fully with Your will for me, the will that brings You glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

OPENING PRAYER

Abba Father, we invite You into today’s session. Grant us Access, Abba! Take over. Take the whole atmosphere. Saturate this moment with Your presence, Lord. Break every chain, raise every weary heart, and fill us with Your fire again. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TESTIMONY

Sis, let us read through this testimony before we go any further:

FIRST: Last year juicy July program I submitted several prayer request for my elder sister who was sent out of the house she was staying before in Lagos and needs a new apartment, I asked God to favour her with a comfortable and a affordable apartment and also usher her from there to her husband house, because she’s approaching 35yrs already and yet unmarried, God answered everything one after the other, she got a wonderful apartment at an affordable amount, not just that God gave her an amazing man, they recently did the introduction ceremony and have fixed October 25 for the wedding, All thanks be unto God who have made this possible.

SECOND: 1. Praise the Lord. God is good. My daughter introduced me to juicy July, and although I’ve not been participating in the fasting due to my health, but I’ve been actively reading the bulletin and praying the prayers. One of the things I noticed was that the time for stirring the waters is usually not enough for me. It’s always as if someone came to fast-forward the time for me. And it has been making prayer easier and sweeter for me. I’m grateful to God for that because I think it’s a good experience.
2. Also, I’ve been seeing improvement in my health condition, I just need God to perfect it.
3. My husband also has been making some good resolutions on some issues which he would rather argue about and defend his intentions in the time past, even if it’s not good. But recently, he has been saying that he is now realizing his mistakes. I pray that what God has started in my life and family, he will perfect it in Jesus name. Amen. Thank you very much.

TESTIMONY PRAYERS

Shout ‘Halleluyah’ on behalf of our sister and mummy. Amen.

Our God is a wonder! Yours is just next in line! May God’s people rejoice at the sound of your testimony, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

Let’s take this moment to lift our voices with gratitude:

Thank You, Lord, for these testimonies. We give You ALL the glory. None belongs to us! Father, glorify Yourself even more in the life of the testifier in Jesus’ Name.

Now, say:

Oh Lord, don’t leave me out. Let me carry my own testimony with dancing from the beginning of Juicy July 2025 to the end and thereafter. Lord, may everyone praying in Juicy July 2025 have something tangible to show in Jesus Name. We receive it by faith in Jesus Name. Amen.

EXHORTATION: EXPOSING ASSYRIA’S SCHEMES

Dear sisters, your Father has a very terrible enemy, and this enemy hates you, deeply, with every vein, every molecule, every part of himself. He hates you and is constantly plotting, creating strategies and weapons to fight you, to hunt you down, to keep you from resting in the love of your Father, to stop you from enjoying all that your Father has for you.

This enemy has already been judged and condemned, but he does not want you to live the full, victorious life God intended for you. Instead, he wants you to join him in defeat and destruction.

That is why your Father has decided that today, it is important to expose some of the tactics this enemy uses to fight against you. Of course, the devil has thousands of strategies, and he can manipulate in countless ways, but once we know the basic ones, it becomes easier to recognize his attacks, even when they come in unexpected forms.

Today, we have serious business to attend to. Please study the Bible text for today very deeply before you settle in the prayer guide for today. Thank you.

.

.

.

Welcome back, sis. The chapter before us shows the story of two kings. King Hezekiah of Judah and King Sennacherib of Assyria. We will see the strategies the enemy uses to overpower people, cripple them, and take control of their territories and inheritances.

In 1 Peter 5 verse 8, Peter describes the devil as a roaring lion, seeking whom to devour. Sennacherib is a clear picture of that devouring lion. Before the enemy steals, kills, or destroys, he first studies. He monitors. He lures. Then when it seems quiet and safe, he pounces. Jesus already revealed this in John 10 verse 10.

The enemy goes for the powerhouse.

Verses 1 and 2 of our text:

Now it came to pass in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah that Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and took them. Then the king of Assyria sent the Rabshakeh with a great army from Lachish to King Hezekiah at Jerusalem. And he stood by the aqueduct from the upper pool, on the highway to the Fuller’s Field.

So, sis, Sennacherib had already taken over many parts of Judah. Only Jerusalem was left. So, he laid siege around it. No one could go in or come out. His goal was clear. To capture the heart of Judah! And where did he camp? By the water source! Ayaaaa, sis, that’s not by chance. That is strategy. He positioned his men where the city got its water from. No water, no life. If they dared to get water, they would be attacked. The people would soon become too weak to resist and you know, the enemy would win. And interestingly, Sennacherib had not even appeared himself. He sent his chief officer ahead to weaken the city first.

Now think of this, dear sis. What territories of your life has the enemy already gained access to? What areas are already under siege? Could it be your finances? Your marriage? Your peace? Your mind? Your health? Your home? Has the enemy used people, painful experiences, or the storms of life to try to crush your joy?

The truth is that all these are not his ultimate aim. They are just his tools. What he really wants is your connection with Abba Father. He is after that relationship. He is after your Koinonia with the Holy Spirit. He is after your fire. He wants to pollute your altar. He wants to be the one directing your life. That is why everything is geared toward weakening your intimacy with God.

If you look closely, you’ll see that all the distractions, stress, and pressures are aimed at one thing: disconnecting you from the Presence!

Now let us sing and pray this song three times. Let it rise like fire from your spirit:

Gbogbo ogun to nja mi ni koko
All the attacks of the enemy in the secret
Ati eyi to nja mi labele
And those within my doors
Baba mi, gbe mi leke gbogbo won
My Father, lift me above them all
Ko to di pe won o ba mi laye je
Before they destroy my life completely

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

The enemy challenges your belief

Isaiah 36 verses 4 to 6 (CSB):
“Tell Hezekiah:
The great king, the king of Assyria, says this: What are you relying on? You think mere words are strategy and strength for war. Who are you now relying on that you have rebelled against me? Look, you are relying on Egypt, that splintered reed of a staff that will pierce the hand of anyone who grabs it and leans on it. This is how Pharaoh king of Egypt is to all who rely on him.”

Now that we know the enemy’s ultimate goal is to destroy our relationship with the Lord and enthrone himself over our lives and affairs, we must realize that one of his direct attacks is aimed at our faith in God. He goes straight for our belief system. He makes sure we doubt our Father. That was exactly what He did to Eve in the garden. He makes us feel insecure and left out, abandoned and orphans.

The enemy knows he cannot simply enter our lives without access. He cannot force himself in. There must be an open door. That’s why he targets our faith. When our faith is strong, it becomes a shield that blocks off his attacks. But when it’s weakened, our defenses fall. To weaken us, he introduces doubt. He questions our trust in God. He magnifies his own power in our minds while attempting to reduce our image of God, our dear Father.

Notice that the enemy here was guessing. He didn’t know for sure whether Judah had turned to Egypt for help. So he tried to shame the idea, calling Egypt an unreliable support that would harm more than help. He threw words designed to provoke doubt and fear.

He even mocks Judah’s words as mere talk. In his eyes, their negotiations, their plans, their prayers were nothing. Empty. Weak. Powerless. And sadly, in a sense, he was right. We cannot reason with darkness. We cannot strike a deal with evil. The enemy has no truth, no honor, no integrity. Every offer from him is a trap.

Yet many times, we try to meet the devil halfway. We avoid direct confrontation. We stay silent when we should roar. We dress up compromise as Christian maturity. We whisper peace when we should be crying out for war. We try to play it cool when God is calling us to rise in faith and resist. We begin to search for solutions outside of God. We try other alternatives. And even when we choose God’s way, we take it lightly. We are half-hearted. Unserious. Distracted.

So we find ourselves in battles that could have been avoided if only we had sought our Abba Father from the beginning. We fight with our own strength and get exhausted. But the Bible says in James 4 verse 7, submit yourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. There is a divine order. Submission comes before resistance.

Let’s take this prayer together:

My dear Abba! Oh, in any way I have allowed the enemy to weaken my faith in You, have mercy on me. Strengthen me to resist every one of his attacks. For whatever battle I am fighting with tactics that did not come from You, my Father, I give up on them now. I ask humbly, equip me with Your strategy. Teach me to fight right and in Your way, in Jesus’ name.

The enemy questions your devotion to God

Isaiah 36 verse 7:
Suppose you say to me, ‘We rely on the Lord our God.’ Isn’t he the one whose high places and altars Hezekiah has removed, saying to Judah and Jerusalem, ‘You are to worship at this altar’?

Another tool the enemy uses during battle is to attack your devotion. He questions your walk with God. He throws accusations at your consecration. He mocks your sacrifices. He tries to confuse what obedience looks like.

He says, You say you rely on God? Is that not the same God whose altars you have destroyed? In other words, he begins to twist your obedience and make it look like rebellion. He paints your discipline as destruction. He suggests that your efforts to serve God wholeheartedly are actually displeasing to God.

And then comes guilt. Then shame. Then condemnation. All of it to drive a wedge between you and your Father. Not to make you feel inadequate before Him, but to make you believe God has turned His face away from you. That He no longer recognizes your love, your worship, your prayers.

Once this seed takes root, it grows. You begin to doubt the finished work of Christ over your life. You question your salvation. You second-guess your faith. You look at other believers and feel like you no longer belong. The enemy whispers, God has rejected you. You were never truly His. And the heart, once joyful, becomes heavy. Confused. Frustrated. Distant.

All because the enemy succeeded in making you question your devotion in the first place.

Let’s take this prayer:

Dear God, wherever the borders of my heart have been weakened, wherever the enemy can easily sow doubt, please help me. Heal my heart. Repair my faith. Let nothing shake my trust in You. Strengthen my devotion again. Help me love You more deeply and serve You more wholeheartedly than ever before. In Jesus’ name.

The enemy taunts you

Isaiah 36:8–9
“Now make a deal with my master, the king of Assyria. I’ll give you two thousand horses if you’re able to supply riders for them! How then can you drive back a single officer among the least of my master’s servants? How can you rely on Egypt for chariots and horsemen?”

Taunting is one of the enemy’s sharpest tools. It is designed to provoke and belittle. It makes you feel small, defeated, and insignificant. Have you ever sat down and felt like your life doesn’t matter? That you’re just here to survive until the day you die? That’s a lie. That’s taunting.

The enemy whispers these lies to make you feel like you’re just one out of millions with no real life or purpose. But your Father has never called you insignificant. You are known. You are seen. You are called. You are chosen. When the Bible teaches us to think less of ourselves, it is in humility, not inferiority. The enemy distorts this and turns it into shame.

Taunting warps our identity. It blinds us to what the Word says about us. God’s Word says in Jeremiah 29:11 that He has good plans for you. Ephesians 1:3 says you are already blessed with every spiritual blessing. 2 Peter 1:3 says you have everything you need for life and godliness. Ephesians 2:6 says you are seated with Christ in heavenly places.

The enemy wants you to forget all that. He wants you to see yourself through a lens of failure. He wants you to surrender to the world’s version of reality. But whose report will you believe? Will you believe the enemy’s taunt or your Father’s truth?

Let’s pray:
Every lie of the enemy that I have accepted, I cast out right now. I cleanse my mind with the blood of Jesus. I purify my heart by the fire of the Holy Spirit. I say no to lies and yes to the truth of God’s Word. I believe in the plans, the promises, and the love of my Father. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

EXPOSING ASSYRIA'S SCHEMES

The enemy validates his attacks as God’s will

Isaiah 36:10
“Have I attacked this land to destroy it without the Lord’s approval? The Lord said to me, ‘Attack this land and destroy it.’”

This is another cruel tactic. The enemy claims that the suffering in your life is God’s will. He hides behind hardship and convinces you that you’re supposed to accept it, even when God has not called you to it.

God never promised us a life without challenges, but not every hardship is from Him. Some things are not meant to be tolerated. They are meant to be rejected and fought in prayer. There are generational patterns and strongholds that we call our cross, when really, they are chains that need to be broken.

Barrenness is not God’s will. He called us to be fruitful.
Debt is not God’s will. He said owe no one anything but love.
Sickness is not God’s will. Jesus bore our sickness on the cross.

When the enemy convinces you that these things are from God, you’ll accept them. You’ll carry what Jesus already took from you. You’ll stop resisting because you think it’s holy to suffer. But if it doesn’t glorify God, it doesn’t belong in your life.

Let’s pray:
I reject every false burden I’ve accepted as God’s will. I separate myself from every negative experience that the enemy disguised as my portion. I sweep them out of my life now. Whatever claim the enemy thinks he has, I cancel it. If my Father did not approve it, I will not accept it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The enemy speaks demoralising words

Isaiah 36:11–12
Eliakim, Shebna, and Joah said to the royal spokesman, “Please speak to your servants in Aramaic, since we understand it. Don’t speak to us in Hebrew within earshot of the people on the wall.”
But he replied, “Was it only to your master and you that my master sent me to say these things? No, it was also to the people who will eat their own excrement and drink their own urine with you.”

The enemy uses words like arrows. His goal is not just to scare leaders but to terrify the people. He targets the crowd, the community, the vulnerable. The words are brutal and shameful. The aim is humiliation.

The devil uses demoralising words to plant seeds of fear and defeat. That’s why the Bible says guard your heart with all diligence. The enemy cannot read your thoughts, but he can try to shape them. He plants words through people, media, systems, and circumstances.

When you start to believe what he says, those words begin to grow. And soon, you start living under the weight of something God never said. The enemy paints pictures of a doomed future so that you stop hoping for anything better.

But not everything you feel or hear is the truth. And just because it is loud doesn’t mean it came from God.

Let’s pray:
In the name of Jesus, I cancel every negative word spoken over my life. I reject every seed of fear, shame, and defeat. I cleanse my mind and soul with the blood of Jesus. I declare that only the Word of God will shape my life. I will not live by the verdict of the enemy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The enemy breeds discontent

Isaiah 36:16–17
“Make peace with me and surrender. Then each of you can eat from your own vine, fig tree, and cistern until I come and take you to a land like your own, a land of grain, new wine, bread, and vineyards.”

Discontentment is subtle, but deadly. The enemy paints a picture of something better. He makes you feel like you’re missing out. He offers what seems good, even something that looks similar to what God has promised, but it is all a trap.

That’s how Judas Iscariot fell. He grew tired of following the Lord without seeing the glory he expected. He wanted more. He wanted influence, position, and power. He was tired of waiting. So he took matters into his own hands.

Thirty pieces of silver looked better than the slow, humble road beside Jesus. He thought he was gaining. But in that moment, he lost everything.

This is what discontentment does. It makes you trade God’s presence for the enemy’s promises. It makes you abandon the process for a shortcut. And once the enemy has your heart, he has room to bring in all kinds of destruction.

We must fight discontentment. We must guard our joy in the Lord and trust His timing. What He gives is always better than what the world offers.

Let’s pray:
Father, wherever I have allowed discontentment to grow in me, have mercy. Cleanse my heart of envy, impatience, and selfish ambition. Teach me to trust Your plans and delight in Your presence. Help me not to trade Your process for the enemy’s lies. Keep my heart rooted in contentment and joy in You, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

The enemy always underestimates God in your life

Isaiah 36:20-22 (CSB)
“Who among all the gods of these lands ever rescued his land from my power? So will the Lord rescue Jerusalem from my power?”
But they kept silent; they didn’t say anything, for the king’s command was, “Don’t answer him.”
Then Eliakim son of Hilkiah, who was in charge of the palace, Shebna the court secretary, and Joah son of Asaph, the court historian, came to Hezekiah with their clothes torn and reported to him the words of the royal spokesman.

We must always remember: the enemy has never learned his lesson.

I have used the word enemy instead of satan or the devil, but they all refer to the same person. We often forget that the devil is not our friend or a neutral figure. He is our enemy. Because we belong to our Father and stand on His side, the enemy stands against us. He does not want anything good for us. He wants to return to the place Jesus already removed him from in our lives.

All the rubbish and sin that Jesus swept out, the enemy wants to bring back again. The generational curses that were broken, the altars that were torn down, he wants to rebuild them and make us slaves once more (Matthew 12:45).

He will not rest until he finds a way back into our lives. Even a tiny crack is enough for him to sneak in and cause destruction. But to truly succeed, he must first overthrow God’s rule in our lives.

That’s why we must not give him any chance. We don’t need to answer him or argue with him. Our first move must always be to run to our Father, to His power and His presence. From there, we rise up and stand our ground in Christ.

Isaiah 49:24-26 (NLT)
Who can snatch the plunder of war from the hands of a warrior?
Who can demand that a tyrant let his captives go?
But the LORD says,
“The captives of warriors will be released,
and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved.
For I will fight those who fight you,
and I will save your children.
I will feed your enemies with their own flesh.
They will be drunk with rivers of their own blood.
All the world will know that I, the LORD,
am your Savior and your Redeemer,
the Mighty One of Israel.”

Dear fellow daughter, our Father is the one who fights for you. You can rest in His strength. Just like He fought for Hezekiah, He is ready to fight for you and protect everything that belongs to you.

Isaiah 37:36-37 (CSB)
Then the angel of the Lord went out and struck down one hundred eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians. When the people got up the next morning, there were all the dead bodies! So King Sennacherib of Assyria broke camp and left. He returned home and lived in Nineveh.

The question now is this: Will you arise and resist the enemy today? Will you fully surrender to your Father so that the devil has no room in your life? When you do, the enemy will flee, because Your Father will rise to fight for you.

Arise, Daughter of Abba!

Our Father knows this world and the spiritual battle we face. He knows exactly how the enemy accuses us and attacks us. If we obey His Word, if we stick closely to His commands, and allow the Spirit to lead us, we will avoid every one of the enemy’s traps, no matter how cunning or fierce he tries to be.

Think about how human fathers protect their children. Think about how even the smallest animals defend what is theirs. How much more will our God, our mighty Defender, stand for us? Don’t ever doubt His protection. He fights for us because we haven’t always given Him the chance. That’s why throughout Scripture He tells us, “Be still, and see the salvation of the Lord.” He wants us to rest in Him, to watch Him fight for us.

Today, we’ve seen some of the enemy’s tactics. We could reveal many more, but now it’s time to take what we have learned into prayer.

Remember this clearly: Satan is already defeated. His head has been crushed. He is like a dead snake whose body still twitches, or a mighty lion caged and chained, still roaring, but powerless to come near you.

You have the power, in the name of Jesus, to rise as a daughter of the Father. Whatever you have tolerated in your life, the strongholds, attacks, lies, it’s time to say no. It’s time to push out the works of the enemy and claim your freedom.

DEAD ON ARRIVAL

STIRRING THE WATERS

Dear sister, it is that special moment. 10 good minutes of stirring the waters, of praying in the Holy Ghost. Please gladly take this short pause. Let the instrumental below play and just stir. Don’t rush this. Pray in the Spirit. Abba to Daughter. Spirit to Spirit.

And if you haven’t received the gift of the Holy Spirit yet? This is YOUR TIME! Cry out to Abba:  “Father, fill me! Baptize me! Immerse me in Your Spirit! I need You for life, Holy Spirit, come. Baptize me with the Holy Ghost and Father, please grant me another pentecost in Jesus Name”

Let’s start stirring.

TAKE CHARGE

We are daughters, let’s take charge over the territories where we are represented right now.

Father, by Your mighty Name, I sanctify my body, my home, and my atmosphere right now. I cover myself with the blood of Jesus (Revelation 12:11) and declare every strange spirit, every demonic stronghold, to flee by fire (Psalm 34:7). I cleanse this place and myself from every trace of darkness (2 Corinthians 6:17). Let Your Holy Spirit fill this space and my life with Your perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). I take authority as Your beloved daughter and refuse to be moved. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

  • Every lie that the enemy has sold me and I have believed it, Father, send Your Truth, let it transform my mind in the name of Jesus.
  • Today, I refuse to be saddled with what the enemy calls my lot in life. I exchange it with God’s gracious plans for my life and destiny. No more sorrow, no more pain.
  • In Jesus name, I pursue my enemy, I overtake my enemy, and I recover all that he has stolen from me. I breathe the breath of Christ into all that he has killed in my life. Receive new life in Jesus name. All that the enemy has destroyed in my life, in the name of Jesus, the power that raised Jesus from the dead, quickens you and you are restored in Jesus name.

Continue to pray as the Lord lays prayers in your heart. Pray as touching every known and unknown issue that the enemy is using to bring dissatisfaction into your life.

Bless the Lord for answered prayers. It’s in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!

FATHER’S CORNER

Let the instrumental below play freely while you talk to God. Imagine Him seated right before you. Now, start to talk to Him like you can see Him. Heaven is open. Your Father is right before you. Ask away! Ask real things, meat, not chaff. It’s you and Him now. Spend this 10 minutes well, unrushed. spend more time if you so desire but make sure you spend time with your father. I can promise you before July ends, you’d start to have encounters you never knew existed! Ayaaa… Just open your mouth and let it pour! Amen!

Round off with thanksgiving when you are done.
