Day 20 Prayer Focus:
Lord, open my own eyes to see and recognize my future husband when You bring him. Deliver me from distractions and counterfeits. May I not push him away.
Before You Pray
One of the most painful things in life is to have your answer standing before you and not recognize it.
Many women have prayed, fasted, cried, and waited, but when the man God prepared finally came, they were spiritually blind.
They could not see because they were carried away by their emotions, expectations, fears, or past experiences.
It is possible for a woman to be so fixated on her idea of what a man should look like, talk like, or act like, that she misses the very one God designed for her.
Some have turned down covenant relationships because the man came in a humble form.
Others have ignored God’s voice because they were distracted by counterfeits who came earlier, smoother, and louder. Ayaaaa….
It takes discernment to see destiny. It takes the help of the Holy Spirit to recognize the difference between a distraction and a covenant.
Some women cannot see because they are still emotionally tied to the past.
Others are busy chasing opportunities, trying to ‘fix’ their own lives, or comparing themselves with others.
Some are simply afraid of marriage because of what they have seen in their parents’ homes.
This prayer is to ask God for spiritual sight. To ask Him to open your eyes like He opened the eyes of Hagar to see the well beside her. To ask Him to open your heart like He opened Lydia’s (Acts 16:14). Because when your eyes open, you will see that God has been working all along. You will not miss your season. You will not push away your helper. You will not despise your answer.

Father, I thank You because You are the God who gives sight to the blind and light to those who sit in darkness.
You are the God who connects destinies at the right time and in the right way.
You joined Eve to Adam and Lydia to the message of Paul. You are still connecting hearts today, I know You are, my Father.
Lord, open my eyes to see what You are doing in my life in the Name of Jesus. Open my eyes, Father, I want to know. (Stay here for a while. Believe!)
My Father, when You bring my future husband, let me not miss him in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Oh Lord, let me not doubt what You are revealing to me. Let me not be blinded by fear, impatience, or worldly expectations in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Every veil covering my eyes, I tear it now in the name of Jesus.
Every counterfeit relationship that is clouding my vision, I separate from it in the power of the Holy Ghost.
Every distraction in my heart, every unhealthy attachment, every obsession with the past, I release them now by fire! I release them by fire! (7x. Mean it!!!)
Lord, purify my desires. Remove every imagination that is not aligned with Your Word. If my picture of marriage is built from the world and not from Scripture, Lord, tear it down and rebuild it with truth in Jesus Name. Ah, Father, I don’t want to recognize what looks right, I want to recognize what is right, give me a sound judgment my Fatheeeerrr.
Father, deliver me from pride that disrespects the right man. Deliver me from fear that runs away from real love in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Father, deliver me from emotional noise that makes it hard to hear Your voice. Make my spirit sensitive. When You speak, let me hear clearly. When You show me, let my heart bear witness in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
Father, deliver me from blindness. Deliver me from distractions. Deliver me from counterfeits that look real but carry death.
Deliver me from past relationships that still hold my emotions.
Deliver me from the spirit of impatience and fear that causes many to settle wrongly. Deliver me, Fatherrrr.
Oh Lord, take away every veil from my eyes. If my mind has been clouded by expectations that are not Yours, clear them now. If my heart has been hardened by delay, disappointment, or distrust, soften it by Your Spirit. If I have built walls that make it hard for the right man to approach me, Lord, break them gently and heal me fully in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Father, when my future husband comes, let me not reject him by pride, suspicion, or ignorance. Let my heart be ready. Let my discernment be sharp. Let me not mistake him for another, nor mistake another for him.
Lord, teach me to see through Your eyes. Teach me to love through Your Spirit. Teach me to recognize Your handwriting even in ordinary moments. When You speak, let me not argue. When You show me, let me not delay.
Father, align my heart to Your timing. Align my emotions to Your will. Let every counterfeit fade from my life before he comes. Let my ears be sensitive to Your voice saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
And Father, I pray that You prepare me to be recognized too. Make my spirit visible to his. Let my light shine rightly. Let the work You’re doing in me speak clearly to him. Prepare me inwardly and outwardly for the day of divine connection.
Lord, may I not miss the man You are bringing. May I not delay the purpose You have ordained. May I not push him away by carelessness, distraction, or unbelief. I receive grace to wait right, to discern right, and to love right when the time comes. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Now, Declare
I declare in the name of Jesus that my eyes are open. I will see and recognize my future husband when God brings him. I will not be distracted. I will not be confused. I will not be entangled with counterfeits. My heart is discerning, my spirit is alert, and my steps are aligned with God’s will.
I declare that my emotions are healed and my vision purified. I will not push away my future husband by fear or pride. I will walk in wisdom, humility, and clarity. My heart will know, my peace will confirm, and my spirit will rejoice when he comes.
I declare that delay is broken, counterfeits are dismissed, and divine recognition is activated.
My eyes see, my ears hear, and my spirit agrees with God. The man God has prepared will find me, and I will recognize him. Our connection will glorify God and shame the enemy, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
