THEME: LORD, DELIVER ME FROM THIS BLINDNESS
TEXT: MARK 10:46-52
BIBLE READING: 1Kings 13:11-32
It’s Day 6, dear sisters!
Our God is faithful!
Thanks be to the Lord who has seen us through these past 5 days.
We worship Him for all the testimonies we have had so far. Glory be to the Holy Name of the Lord forever. Amen.
I pray today that the Lord will also give you a great testimony and you will find rest in Christ indeed in Jesus’ name.
Maybe you’re yet to start the fast or every day you wake up with vigor but 2 hours later you cannot just help it, I pray for grace for you today in Jesus Name.
The Devil will not be able to cheat you in Jesus Name. Because, you see, this prayer will do something different in your life and walk with God. Amen?
Did you say a resounding ‘amen’?
Today, we will be looking at one particular ailment that might be operational in our lives at the moment.
The ailment is blindness!
What is blindness?
It is the loss of the ability to see!!!!
Can you imagine not seeing?
You go to the bathroom in stark darkness.
You go to the market in darkness!
When you are served food, you can’t even see what you have been served!
If someone is pointing a gun at you, you can’t see it!
Someone can confidently sit before a blind man and put poison in his/her food without her knowing!
If there is a ditch before a blind man/woman, they won’t know at all. Before anyone could go to their rescue, they’d be in the ditch.
It is a normal thing for someone blind to:
Easily fall
Easily break teeth
Easily break bones
Have multiple scars
Be involved in an accident
Be easily cheated
Be frustrated
Be angry
Be robbed
And so on.
You just stand up from where you are now, tie a scarf very tightly around your face and start to walk around. It won’t be easy. You will be frustrated. You will have pangs of self-pity.
Ah, blindness is no easy thing at all!
Yet many Christians are blind!!!
They walk around life blind!
They don’t know what the Lord is saying!
They don’t know when a ditch is before them, so they can easily fall, lose a teeth, break a bone etc.
They don’t know who is about to attack them!
They don’t know what is in the heart of people facing them, talking to them!
They are in the dark perpetually.
They don’t know what choice to make.
They constantly fall into errors.
They always end up in tears, wailing in regrets.
They easily believe lies.
They live their lives frustrated.
They get married wrongly.
They go into the wrong friendship.
They are easily attacked by people they thought were their friends.
It is such a frustrating life to be living this life blindly as a Christian!
Yet, unfortunately, many are blind!
Let’s bury ourselves in this prayer song before we continue:

Welcome back!
Let’s assume you woke up this morning and discovered you couldn’t see any longer, what would you do?
You would freak out!
You’d pray!
You’d call all the pastors on your contact list.
You’d go to the hospital straightway!
Why?
Because it is an EMERGENCY!!!!
This is the exact approach you should make when you have discovered you have a bad eyesight spiritually! Or when you discovered you are blind or going blind!
Take it seriously!
See it as an emergency!!
This life is physical indeed but you can only survive through life spiritually!
Our physical eyes are too limited!
Where you are seated now, you don’t even know what is happening outside!
You don’t know what is even happening under your leg.
You don’t know what is going on at your back.
Even if they give you a bottle of drink that you are holding and you feel like it has been poisoned, you can examine it o, turn it over and over and still not know that there’s poison in it!
Someone can be before you, lying beautifully to you without you knowing!!!
Our eye sights are limited!
Extremely limited, I mean.
This is why the focus should be on our spiritual eyesights.
How is your eyesight spiritually?
Is it sharp?
Is it dull?
Is it sick?
Is it blind?
Is it going blind?
Matthew 6:22-23 says: The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.
But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!
Did you see God’s Word???
If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

We need open eyes!!!
Blindness is bad!
Zephaniah 1:17 says “Because you have sinned against the Lord, I will make you grope around like the blind…’

Sin blinds the eyes!!!!
When we commit sin, we intentionally choose the ways of God’s enemies, so how can we then be able to walk in His light?
And look at the verdict! Because you have decided go against my will I will make you grope around like the blind! Aaaiiiiiya!
What is blindfolding your eyes???
What are you feeding your eyes?
What are you exposing your eyes to?
When people daily expose their eyes to firewood smoke, little by little, the eyes are getting destroyed!
When they are exposed to laptop screens every single moment without protective lenses, the health of the eyes is getting lost!
When your spiritual eyes are open daily to pornography, it cannot receive Heavenly signals!!!
When your spiritual eyes are open to pranks and gossips on the social media every day, how can you see clearly?
You are single but you daily see the nakedness of one brother or the other in your fellowship, how can you see????
Your spiritual eyesight will only get worse and worse!!!
‘Because you have sinned against the Lord, I will make you grope around like the blind…’
Ah!!!!
Sisters, we must wash off our eyes all the effects of the dirtiness we have exposed them to, if not, we cannot receive anything divine!!!

Look back to our text. Blind Bartimaeus was a blind beggar, one whose eyesight was gone.
Oh, he had perfect ears, distinct ones too, he had good hands and agile legs, but he wasn’t satisfied.
Oh, one of the things the Lord will do for you and me is to take away the satisfaction we so feel. Kaaaayaaaaa!!!
How can you be blind and be satisfied???
How can you be going blind and still feel at ease?
Who said you have to grope in the dark?
How are you satisfied with the wounds your blindness has caused you???
How can you say you are used to errors and falls???
SHOUT THESE WITH ME:
– I’m tired of the status quo, there’s got to be more than this, Lord!
– Lord, I need to seeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!
– There’s more to my life than what I am experiencing. I cannot settle for less, Father!!!
Dear sis, you have stayed too long in the camp of the defeated! You, an eagle frolicking around pigeons and chickens?
Refuse like Bartimaeus did!!!
He heard Jesus passing by, and he started to call out!
As he called, something began to happen in the Spirit!!!!
Ahhh, there was a rumbling!
It sounded so distant, yet he continued to call out and Jesus could tell the desperation of a man who was tired of the old.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh, the new must break forth.
And while people tried to shut him down, he cried even louder!
‘Jesus of Nazareth, Son of David, have mercy on me!’
It was the cry of a man who had so long walked in darkness and gloom. He knew his only ticket was mercy.
I don’t know what has kept you in darkness for so long.
Is your own stealing? Your fingers are just too sticky, you even steal what you won’t ever use!
Or is yours lust? Hmmm, once you see that fine brother, that fine sister, your heart begins to wander. Your legs lose their strength! You would have already undressed the person in your heart! Or maybe you’re filled with shame from pornography, masturbation, dirty phone conversations with the so-called brother or sister you’re in a relationship with.
Is it jealousy, lies, bitterness, unforgiveness, or a dividing spirit (spirit of discord)?
Those things blind the eyes, as we have seen from the text above!
And those sins must go!
If you want to begin to see clearly, sin must go!
If you want to know what God is saying, sin must go!
If you must be sure of the decision about who to marry, sin must go for you to see clearly!
If you want your steps to be daily ordered by the Lord, sin must what????
Must go!!!!
Daniel 2:22 says ‘He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what [is] in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.’
Can you see???
The Light Himself is the One who can shine light on our paths!!!
We need you, oh God!!!
As a wife, you need God to shine light on your path! You need to be sensitive in your spirit. You need to be sharp! You have been given a whole task on building a home! Oh, c’mon, you can’t do it blindly!!!
You can’t bring forth children to this world just to take them around blindly!!!
You can’t afford to be blind and house the person who has been sent to come snatch your husband, destroy your finances or kill your children.
You can’t be blind at all!
As a single, the quality of your future is determined by how much health your spiritual eyes have!!!!
There are some decisions that are everlasting, for instance, marriage. If you make a mistake getting married, the quality of your tomorrow has been affected whether you like it or not.
But if you could see clearly, you would have been able to make better choices!!
It is important for us as believers to receive divine guidance because our decision will determine our destiny!!!!
Only God knows the right steps and the right people around you!
You know nothing!
Only God knows!
If the Lord shall set our eyes free, they will free how???

WHAT CAN CAUSE SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS???
-Sin
-Attacks
-Oppression
-Ancestral strongholds
-Idol
-Disobedience
-When you sow discord among believers: I don’t know why this is coming again, perhaps it is a message for someone here. The reason for your problems was that you orchestrated the discord between two people, maybe in your school, office, amongst your siblings, between your parents etc. If you did not fuel that discord, it would never have stood. Now, a relationship has gone sour and some words have been said and this has opened the door for the affliction you are currently facing. Please restitute and receive your sight.
CRY ALOUD WITH ME:
Lord, I’ve come for the surgery to take place! Insist on me Holy Spirit. Insist on me, insist on me!
My generation is dependent on my sight! My family is counting on my vision! My lineage cannot move into goodness if this blindness continues, ahhhhhh, insist on me Lord, visit me today!
If you’re praying at this time in sincerity you would notice a change in your atmosphere, and it is not one to be taken lightly, because your cries have awoken the Master!
See, your tears have stopped Him in His track. Don’t reduce the tempo. Cry the more till He bids you come!
That’s right, keep praying, yes, pray in the Holy Ghost!
Ahhhhh, you’ve attracted the powers of darkness too, because they know they’re about to see light.
So take authority over any unwanted element of darkness, every nonsense of the manipulation of wickedness, resist the devil, and let him flee in the mighty name of Jesus.
Now, begin to wash your eyes of any dirtiness they have gathered over the years. Wash them by the Blood of Jesus. Touch your eyes and call the dirtiness off by the Blood of the Lamb!

Sisters, because this blindness has crippled your progress, you must pray with vigor. And as you pray, deliverance will come in the Mighty of Jesus!
Begin to appreciate our King:
The One who sits on the circle of the earth, the mighty man of war, I call Him Captain of the Host, the Champion Himself, the One who never loses a battle.
Let your praise rise as an incense to the Lord, sweet and undeniably refreshing.
Worship His Majesty. If your dialect is better, please praise in your dialect.
NOW, IT IS TIME TO PRAY!!!
Lord, I’ve dwelled in darkness for too long bid me come into the light, let me see You!!!
My eyes are dim, my sight is gone, Lord that I might receive my sight in Jesus’ name!!!
The Strongholds of darkness be broken now over my spiritual eyesight in the mighty name of Jesus!!!
Father, shut the entrance of darkness in me today Lord in the name of Jesus
Lord, I want to receive my sight, I want to see, give me brand new eyes. Eyes that see, eyes that perceive in depth!
There are scales that must fall off my eyes for me to see. I command you to begin to fall off. Oya begin to fall!!!
Demonic covering over my eyes rend by fire right now in the mighty name of Jesus!!!
Lord, I reject dim sight, partial sight, incomplete sight, let there be full restoration of my eyesight in the mighty name of Jesus!
From tonight, let me begin to see things, and visions about me, my future, my generation, my family. Insist on me Holy Spirit!
Father, this blindness came as a result of my broken altar, today let my altar be repaired in Jesus’ name!
Father as a result of the blindness I have suffered injuries from falling, injuries from not being able to see my way around. Heal those injuries lest they become infected and affect me in the future in the mighty name of Jesus.
Begin to declare:
I am not blind over my marriage.
I am not blind over my business.
I am not blind over my children
I am not blind over my ministry.
I am not blind over my career.
I see, I see, I see!!!
I don’t see seasonally, I don’t see occasionally, I see always, I see clearly!
Let there be perfect restoration of my eyesight in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!
Satanic eyeglasses that I have received I break you now, I receive my sight in Jesus’ name Amen!!!
Ancient powers that have put my eyesight under lock and key I command you be powerless now in the mighty name of Jesus!!!
I plead the blood of Jesus and I apply it over my eyes it brings a restoration to my sight in Jesus’ name!!!
You Spirit of blindness assigned to me that once I want to receive light, and illumination you appear, today is your expiration date. Catch fire in the mighty name of Jesus!!!
Lord, open my inner eyes to see what has been stolen from me- the powers, virtues, goodness. And today, oh Lord, let there be a total restoration of them all in Jesus name

Every spirit that causes blindness to my dreams, so that when I wake up, I cannot remember what the Lord had shown me and if I remember, I can’t understand, or if I remember, they are in fragments and hence I cannot pray about what the Lord is trying to show me, you evil spirit, you dream stealer, I curse you today!!!!
The syndrome of not seeing spiritual things come to an end today in my life in the Mighty name of Jesus. Amen
Any atmosphere of blindness in my life, in my family, in my ministry, in my local church be removed in Jesus name!!!
Lord, I have reached the age of marriage but I cannot see my husband and he cannot see me. Today, I decree that the veil is removed, my husband will see me, locate me, prefer me and love me in the mighty name of Jesus!!!
And I will see him, locate him, prefer him and love him in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!
Eyes and light are synonymous, therefore every darkness that has persisted, what are you waiting for? Be gone in the mighty name of Jesus!
Lord let the anointing to see the will and purpose of God for my Life fall upon me!
My Lord, open my eyes to know the secret about my home, marriage, health and business according to your word in Jer. 33: 3 in Jesus’ name.
Undue interference over my spiritual vision from the dark kingdom; be removed by fire!
I will no longer be robbed in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!!!
MAKE THIS DECLARATION:
I, ( put your name here) today, I have been delivered from blindness, I will take heed to my eyes, I will nurture this newfound sight to get stronger.
I will come for a constant check-up so my eyes do not become affected again.
The Holy Spirit lives in me, so from today I see clearly, not as trees, but completely.
Visions, revelations, insight, perceptions I see, I see, I see in Jesus’ name
My vessel I will keep pure for God to always inhabit in Jesus name Amen
