It’s been an awesome time in God’s presence!

 

 

God has been Faithful!

 

 

Please let’s maximize the time remaining and redeem all that’s ours by taking this week seriously as if our lives depend on it! 

 

 

Keep squeezing out all the juices.

 

 

So, trust, wait and don’t keep quiet!

 

 

You know, if Hannah had kept quiet in Shiloh, how would she have birthed Samuel? 

 

 

We’ve got to move from Shiloh to Samuel! 

 

 

Amen???

 

 

2 Kings 3:17a says assuredly that:

 

 

‘Here’s what will happen, you won’t hear the wind, you won’t see the rain, but this valley is going to fill up with water’

 

 

I believe it will rain till we are drenched in all varieties of juices that will bring out all the fatness and freshness in our lives, homes, marriages, finances, health, spiritual lives and all that concerns us in Jesus name, Amen!

Welcome back. 

 

 

Let us take a look at our text for today. 

 

 

Luke 8:43-48 (GNT) says:

 

 

43 Among them was a woman who had suffered from severe bleeding for twelve years; she had spent all she had on doctors, but no one had been able to cure her.

 

 

44 She came up in the crowd behind Jesus and touched the edge of his cloak, and her bleeding stopped at once.

 

 

45 Jesus asked, “Who touched me?” Everyone denied it, and Peter said, “Master, the people are all around you and crowding in on you.”

 

 

46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me, for I knew it when power went out of me.”

 

 

47 The woman saw that she had been found out, so she came trembling and threw herself at Jesus’ feet. There in front of everybody, she told him why she had touched him and how she had been healed at once.

 

 

48 Jesus said to her, “My daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”

 

 

The text talked about the woman with the issue of blood and how long she had been battling with it.

 

 

This sickness practically limited her life i.e it put her life on hold to a great extent. 

 

 

It relegated her to the bottom. 

 

 

It made her an outcast. 

 

 

It ripped her off her money. She spent all she had trying to fix this issue! 

 

 

She was isolated from gatherings because of this!

 

 

She couldn’t even go into the temple because of course a bleeding woman was unclean. 

 

 

She must have used a lot of pads and napkins. 

 

 

She was on her ‘period’ everyday, probably even having cramps! 

 

 

She was alienated from people. 

 

 

Not for a month or one year. 

 

 

For twelve whole years!!!

 

 

Oh what a reproach! 

 

 

It did a whole lot more to her than was recorded in the Bible I am sure. But judging from her condition and relating it to our world today, it must have been terribly draining!

 

 

Today’s prayer focus is on recurring and limiting sicknesses.

 

 

Not just sickness(es) but a recurring/limiting one at that!

 

 

What does it mean to be sick? 

 

 

Sickness is not just a physical thing like having malaria, or any type of aches, pains or fever. 

 

 

A person could be sick spiritually (lack of fire in your prayer life, Bible study, fasting)

 

 

Mentally (this has to do with a person’s psychology, mental wellness, thoughts, moods, attitudes e.t.c), 

 

 

Morally (in terms of attitudes to appearance, dressing, speech,) 

 

 

Financially (indiscipline, reckless spending, not having enough, borrowing and all) 

 

 

Maritally (delays, disappointments, childlessness) 

 

 

Habitual (addictions to certain things like food, social media, too much sleep,) 

 

 

Academically (average results despite so much effort, having awaiting results or missing scripts, forgetfulness especially during exams) and so on! 

 

 

It’s more like becoming a pattern that you have to live with it periodically. Daily, monthly or even yearly! 

 

 

I remember an instance in my junior secondary  school when I had a recurring and limiting sickness. 

 

 

I was still bed wetting at J.S.S 1-2 (and it was a boarding school. You can imagine the level of shame for me). 

 

 

You know, no matter how hard I tried, it would always happen. My self esteem was affected! Nothing I did could help, not even reducing my water intake could rescue me. 

 

I also wasn’t getting it right academically either, not until I encountered Christ on a deeper level and I gave my life to Christ. 

 

 

I have a whole lot of events in my life that you probably can relate to, but I can’t pen them all down. 

 

 

Bedwetting did stop eventually,, my grades went up and I gained my self esteem back on a balanced level! 

 

 

How?

 

 

I prayed and fasted to God to help me for I knew I had no strength of my own and God heard me! 

 

 

Today, in this year 2023 Juicy July prayer program, there shall be an avalanche of answers for us all in Jesus name, Amen!

 

 

No matter how long you’ve been struggling, no matter how serious your situation is, ’healing belongs to God!

 

 

Let me show you something:

 

 

Isaiah 53:5 says: 

 

 

But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.

 

 

Oh Hallelujah!!

 

 

Jesus was pierced so that we wouldn’t be pierced by anything or anyone!!!!

 

 

He was crushed so that we wouldn’t be crushed by anything or anyone!!!!

 

 

He was chastised (beaten) so that we wouldn’t be chastised by anything or anyone!

 

 

He was wounded so that we wouldn’t be wounded by anything or anyone!

 

 

Halleluyah!

 

 

And did you notice? 

 

 

He was pierced for our what??

 

 

Sin, transgressions, iniquities!

 

 

That settles our spiritual lives! 

 

 

He was crushed for what? 

 

 

The same thing! The sin! He went further to be really dealt with for our sins. 

 

 

Can you see why we shouldn’t toy with sins? 

 

 

Oh, the price He paid was so precious! 

 

 

The chastisement did what?

 

 

Brought us peace! 

 

 

That settles our minds. Our thoughts. Our mental health! 

 

 

And what did His wounds bring us? 

 

 

Healing!!!!

 

 

Oh Hallelujah! 

 

 

Jesus’ death brought so much healing to:

 

 

Our spirits!

 

 

Our souls/minds! 

 

 

Our bodies! 

 

 

Such an all-encompassing healing! 

 

 

We just need to key in! 

 

 

I pray for you today that your day of freedom is here in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ! 

 

 

John 8.36 says:

 

 

So if the Son liberates you [makes you free], then you are really and unquestionably free. [amp]. 

 

 

Really free! 

 

 

Unquestionably free! 

 

 

Oh hallelujah!

 

 

God is setting us free, not just for the moment but for ever! Amen!

 

 

So, what are the recurring sicknesses of your life? 

 

 

What are those illnesses holding you back?

 

 

What are those sicknesses serving as reproaches in your life?

 

 

I remember those days that I was terribly sick that even when everyone at home would be going out for programmes, school, work, fun places and so on, I would just be on a particular settee at home. 

 

 

My breakfast and lunch would have been served beside me for easy access. 

 

 

Even a potty would be close in case I needed to ease myself. 

 

 

Then, they’d lock the door and the gate and leave. 

 

 

Oh my!

 

 

Not a good experience at all. 

 

 

Not something I’d wish for my enemies.

 

 

Are you in the same case?

 

 

Or in something similar?

 

 

That when it starts, your family would be running helter skelter to rescue you?

 

 

Or when a visitor is about coming in, they’d start rushing you inside?

 

 

That’s a limiting sickness. 

 

 

How would you be able to do God’s will in that condition?

 

 

1John 3:2 says:

 

 

Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.

 

 

That’s God’s desire for us. 

 

 

Isaiah 58:8 says: 

 

 

Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily…..

 

 

Oh, Halleluyah!

 

 

Today na today!

 

 

That terrible illness must give way!

 

 

May it is your child. 

 

 

He or she is not meeting up with his/her developmental milestones. And you’re so sad. 

 

 

Or maybe it is your husband. He doesn’t seem to be in the right senses at times. After a while, after getting really mad, then, he’d calm down and start to talk softly, asking what went wrong. 

 

 

Or could it be your mom? She has a series of health issues that the pills she takes are so numerous. 

 

 

Or could it be you? You’ve lost feelings in some parts of your body? You can no longer use your leg or arm or ear?

 

 

Or is a part of your body shorter than the other? 

 

 

Or when you wake up, it feels as though you’d just returned from war? All your body aches as if nothing good dwells in there?

 

 

Have you had tests run over and over again without results?

 

 

What is your ailment?

 

 

What is disgracing you? 

 

 

What is causing you daily cries and nightly wails?

 

 

Is it in your blood?

 

 

In your brain?

 

 

In your bones and marrows?

 

 

It doesn’t have to be that way!

 

 

Jesus has paid the price for it!

 

 

Psalm 34:17 says: The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles” 

 

 

The Lord hears me today and delivers me from all my troubles in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. 

 

 

What about you?

 

 

When I was in the secondary school, I used to have some terrible menstrual cramps. So terrible that I’d be admitted at the sick bay every time. I would vomit, feel miserable, groan, wail out in pains. It usually was a terrible time for me. 

 

 

And the period was always for five or more days. 

 

 

When I came to know the Lord and I got to the university, I found my roommates menstruating for three days and painlessly too. 

 

 

So, I took it up with God. 

 

 

I told Him I wanted my menstruation to become three days. 

 

 

He did it! 

 

 

Not only that. 

 

 

He healed me of the dysmenorrhoea!

 

 

I have had many issues with my health so many times, dear sisters. And I can assure you that the Lord comes through for His children! 

 

 

Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivereth them from them all!!!!

 

 

When the Devil tries us many times, God will deliver us from them all many times as well! 

 

 

The afflictions in our lives must give way today! 

 

 

And they must not come back! 

 

 

Amen????

 

 

One of the days when I was terribly sick and was wailing, one of my uncles came into my room and started to sing to me.

 

 

He sang two songs to me prayerfully that day and it brought me so much peace and healing. 

 

 

Let’s listen to one of them now before we pray. And another one. I will reserve the other song until the end. 

 

 

Now, maybe you are not sick in any way, pray for your tomorrow. When you would be pregnant, when you would be in childbirth, when you would be raising your kids, when you would be in your old age etc. 

 

 

Pray for your spouse and future spouse also. 

 

 

Pray for your children and unborn children also. 

 

 

Pray for your parents and siblings also. 

 

 

Sicknesses, pains and diseases are terrible! 

 

 

And when they are recurring, periodical and limiting, oh how much more terrible those are! 

 

 

Always learn to pray ahead!

 

 

Always be miles ahead of the devil!

 

 

Don’t just fold your arms today and say ‘Oh, I am not sick’

 

 

Pray your heart out!

Being born again, we have the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority of the Name of Jesus Christ to engage in prayers that affect the spiritual and the natural realms.  

 

Before engaging in spiritual warfare however, we must ensure that there is no unconfessed sin in our lives. 

 

If there are unconfessed sins, begin to confess them right now. 

 

God is ready to forgive you and set you free. 

 

But note:

 

John 5:14 says:

 

14. Later, Jesus found the man at the Temple and said to him, “See, you are well now. But stop sinning or something worse may happen to you!”

 

So, hide in the Blood right and make your ways right, making promises to the Lord not to return to your vomit. 

 

Romans 3.22 says: We are made right in God’s sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done. [NLT]

 

Isn’t this a good news? 

 

So, let’s go through Jesus Christ to the Father and lay a hold on the forgiveness of our sins and righteousness in Christ Jesus. Amen. 

 

Take some time to ask for God’s mercy! 

 

When you are done, take some ample time to begin to soak yourself and all that concerns you in the blood of Jesus. When you are certain that all about you is soaked and drenched in the Powerful blood of Christ, you can continue praying.

 

In the name of Jesus, I forgive anyone who has hurt, disappointed, abandoned or maltreated me as a result of these recurring/limiting sicknesses of my life. Any inward battle or war going on right inside of me against such person(s), be dissolved by fire! I forgive all of them now in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

 

Now shout:

 

Oh Lord! Expose the root of these recurring sicknesses (mention them) to me in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ! 

 

Shout x14: 

 

Light of God, shine through my life, home, place of work, career e.t.c and reveal all the works of the darkness in us in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. 

 

Again say: Lord, let this mountain be removed (mention your own recurring/limiting sickness(es) by the prevailing power of Jesus Christ! 

 

Shout ‘Power of God’ (Agbara Oluwa) x3times then repeat the prayer above again!

 

Now say:

 

Today! In the name of Jesus, I (mention your name) draw a fire line around myself and all that is mine. 

 

I draw a line with the Blood of Jesus around my life and family from today! 

 

Recurring sicknesses (mention yours) will not cross over anymore into my life or all that belongs to me in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. They will not cross over!!! 7x

 

In the name of Jesus, on behalf of my family and  lineage, ‭ ‬I ‭renounce recurring sicknesses in form all sexual  perversion, ‭ ‬witchcraft, ‭ ‬demonic vows, covenants, ungodly thought pattern, disobedience, addictions and ungodly soul ties, anger, bitterness, revenge, demonic dynasty and spiritual marriages in Jesus name. Amen. HolyGhost Fire! (x3 times)

 

We begin to prophesy now by declaring boldly…

 

I (mention you name) will not experience the old in this new season! Powers that recycle the old in a new season, Holy Ghost Fire consumed you now! x7 times

 

Father in Jesus name, I receive revelational knowledge to know, see and discern anyone or any object around me causing recurring sickness in Jesus name and I have dominion over all of them from this day forward in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ! 

 

I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my body, my mind, my soul and spirit for healing, protection and deliverance in name of Jesus Christ.

 

Heal and deliver me from all my trouble, oh Lord! (14x)

 

I rebuke, curse and defeat any sickness that has come to eat up my flesh in the name of Jesus Christ 

 

Oh Lord, permit no diseases cleave to my body henceforth in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

 

I break all curses of sickness and disease in my life and in my ancestry including all inherited sickness from off of my life in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ 

 

I break all curses of premature death and destruction against me in the name of Jesus Christ.

 

I prosper and walk in health even as my soul prospers in the fiery Name of Jesus Christ. 

 

I command every organ in my body to function in the way God intended it to in the name of Jesus Christ.

 

Every tumor and growth in my body melts away in the presence of God in the name of Jesus Christ.  

 

Every infection in my body, be burned by the fire of God now!

 

I release myself from all allergies and viruses in the name of Jesus Christ.

 

You evil strangers of sicknesses and disease in my body, I command you to come out now!!! in the Name of Jesus.

 

I cough out and vomit any food eaten from the table of the devil causing continuous sicknesses in my body, in the Name of Jesus.

 

Let all negative materials circulating in my bloodstream be evacuated, in the name of Jesus.

Thank you Lord, for I know that the plans that you have for me are plans of good and not of evil.

Thank You Lord for You have strengthened my heart.

 

Thank You Lord that I have boldness and access through the blood of Jesus Christ to the throne of grace.

 

Thank You Lord, for You are the God of the breakthrough and You have gone up before me and broken through all the limitations and barriers of the enemy.

 

Thank You Lord for whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

 

Thank You Lord for You have not given me the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

 

Thank You Lord for Your goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. 

 

Thank You Lord because even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death You are with me, Your rod and Your staff they comfort me.

 

Continue to worship the Lord.
