Let’s dive straightway into what God has for us today!

 

 

DESTROYING ALL EVIL INHERITANCE!

 

 

Ayaaaaaayaa!

 

 

On June 17, 1992, Tomi was born after 10 years of waiting on God.

 

 

Joy filled the household of Mr and Mrs Williams as they held their bundle of joy and gave thanks to God while dancing in church the Sunday after she was born.

 

 

God blessed the family with another set of twins two years later and their joy knew no bounds!

 

 

Tomi had a very great upbringing. Her parents neither pampered her nor were strict with her.

 

 

They made sure all their children went to church and also never missed Sunday school for any reason. They taught their children how to pray and also instructed them on how to fast.

 

 

They did this separately though. Mr and Mrs. Williams were strangers living under the same roof. They did devotions, eat together but there was a thick looming silence every time in the house.

 

 

Despite carrying Bibles under his armpit every time, sometimes Mr. Williams would pounce on his wife and beat her blue black.

 

 

Mrs. Williams would curse, insult, throw things at her husband and swear in return.

 

 

Tomi wondered why they taught her about God then when it was not evident in their lives.

 

 

That was exactly how her paternal grandfather treated his wife!

 

 

And her maternal grandmother was not helpful to her husband! They always fought.

 

 

Tomi prayed every day that she would get married to a genuine man of God who truly feared God, so she wouldn’t have that kind of lifestyle.

 

 

She also made up her mind to study hard and become successful. She thought maybe her dad was that harsh to her mum because she was not educated.

 

 

Tomi eventually bagged two degrees, two Master’s and two doctorate degrees! When she went for her Post-doc in Malaysia, she met this man she believed was her husband – Dan.

 

 

He was very quiet, soft-spoken, intelligent and very Godfearing!

 

 

She was sure that no evil would come into her own home as she’d got it right maritally.

 

 

Five months after their wedding however, Dan beat her to stupor for talking back at her when he was correcting her.

 

 

Her three-month-old pregnancy was forced out because she fell over a mortar as she was running away, trying to save herself.

 

 

She fainted almost immediately and neighbours had to run inside to see what had happened to ‘iyawo’. They got the quiet husband who was crying so profusely at the sight of his bleeding wife arrested almost immediately.

 

 

On the hospital bed, with tears rolling down her face, she wondered what she’d done wrong that made so much mishap to fall on her.

 

 

Dan was beside her in handcuffs, a policeman behind him. He was weeping so profusely.

 

 

‘I don’t know what came over me, honey. I have never fought in my life, never. Oh Lord!’ He wept.

 

 

His dad who had heard the news rushed in and fell on his son.

 

 

‘Danny!!! Ah, Danny! What have you done?’ The old man cried as he hugged his son.

 

 

‘I told you marriage is not for us in our lineage. Why did you marry? Now, see!’ He cried the more.

 

 

‘How can you escape this jail term? And prison life is horrible! Ah, son, ah! You should have learnt from me and your grandfather. Edi di o, ah! (You’ve been spelled)”

 

 

Papa had also hit his wife, Dan’s mum’s head to the wall in a fit of anger. She died as a result of the damage to her brain. She was pregnant for Dan’s youngest brother when it happened. The baby couldn’t survive it! Dan’s dad was jailed for ten years.

 

 

A similar thing happened to his grandfather but the wife survived it and ran away. He married thirty women but each of them ran from him because he’d beat them to stupor whenever he was angry over any little thing!

Right???

 

 

Evil inheritance!

 

 

Yes, that is it!

 

 

Inheritance is something passed down from parents to their children.

 

 

Inheritance is the right of ownership given to someone by law or through birthright to take over another person’s estate.

 

 

Inheritance can come in the form of cash, property or position.

 

 

Isaac for instance, inherited Abraham’s estate according to Genesis 25:5-6. And Abraham gave all that he had to Isaac!

 

 

Solomon inherited the throne of King David his father (1kings 1:29-30)

 

 

And so on as we can see from the scriptures and even all around us!

 

 

But then, there are other things which someone can still inherit from his father, mother, ancestors or through blood line apart from money, properties or positions.

 

 

Unfortunately, some of those things are not usually the best gifts anyone can ever desire to receive from a loved one.

 

 

For example, there are dangerous sicknesses which move through the blood line which a child can inherit from his or her parents.

 

 

Someone can also inherit curse and bad luck from his or her lineage.

 

 

For example, Reuben the first Son of Jacob inherited curse from his father Jacob for the abominable act of incest he committed with his father’s concubine Bilhah (Genesis 35:22)

 

 

And it happened, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father’s concubine; and Israel heard about it.

 

 

In Genesis 49:3-4 the Bible said that Jacob placed curse on Reuben.

 

 

Reuben, you are my firstborn, My might and the beginning of my strength, The excellency of dignity and the excellency of power.

 

Unstable as water, you shall not excel, because you went up to your father’s bed; Then you defiled it

 

 

Mind you, Reuben was not the only one that suffered from that curse, but all his generation!

 

 

Evil inheritance can result in tragic death, massive hardship, infant mortality, barrenness, bad luck, constant disappointments etc.

 

 

The children of Ahab inherited death as a result of the evil ways of their parents (2 kings 9:7-8)

 

 

You shall strike down the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of My servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord, at the hand of Jezebel.

 

For the whole house of Ahab shall perish; and I will cut off from Ahab all the males in Israel, both bond and free

 

The bad effects of evil inheritance have destroyed the lives of many young people through accidents and tragic deaths.

 

 

Evil inheritance is the costly repercussions innocent children suffer for the evil past of their parents or ancestors.

 

 

The acts of Idolatry, sorcery, occultism, murder, killing and stealing are among some dangerous behaviours that can leave an evil inheritance to the children and the unborn generation.

 

 

HERE ARE SOME SIGNS THAT THIS IS OPERATIVE IN YOUR LIFE:

 

 

• You always miss the timing of good things, either by omission or commission?

 

 

• You are promised help or favour by people, but before they can help you, bad things happen to them making them unable to fulfil their promises to you.

 

 

• On the day you are invited to receive a favour or help, things beyond your control or things you don’t understand mysteriously or forcibly keeps you from going to the place of help or blessing.

 

 

• In the midst of many people, you are always singled out for rebuke, reprimand, query, suspension, retrenchment or victimization for no just cause.

 

 

• You are always punished for other people’s crimes and offences.

 

 

• People somehow find it difficult to help you. They’ll rather give their help to someone else who is less deserving.

 

 

• You or others make great efforts to make something or an occasion very successful only for you to make a little silly mistake that ruins the whole thing.

 

 

• You always have last minute disappointments.

 

 

• Despite your gifts, talents and potentials, men find it easy to forget, ignore or bypass you; or even use and dump you.

 

 

• Your progress is not commensurate with your efforts (your input always exceeds the output, no matter what you do).

 

 

• In the midst of many people, you are the one disaster strikes all the time.

 

 

• You are always visited with regular and repeated tragedies or near death situations.

 

 

• You repeatedly loose opportunities for political, business, financial or educational rising?

 

 

• You labour and when it is time to reap, something somehow will push you out of place and you start again. And you keep starting things and never finishing.

 

 

• With all you good character, sweet, loving and caring nature, your relationships or marriage is in shambles. Breakups and heartbreak pains all the time. Everything you do, it is seen and looked upon with serious fault…!

 

 

• You do good, but you are paid back seriously with evil, and your life is full of deep hatred from people.

 

 

• Any other repeatedly unpleasant experience you have seen in your family which you are seeing in yourself now!

 

 

What is the solution from this kind of problem?

 

 

PRAYING THROUGH!

 

 

You need to know how to pray and pray through!

 

 

There is a big difference between praying and praying through!

 

 

I am not going to dwell so much on this, but if truly you want to be liberated from generational curses, you need to know the right prayers to pray.

 

 

Before we go on,

 

 

What then happened to Tomi?

 

 

God is Merciful!

 

 

One day, her pastor’s daughter came to visit her at the hospital and told her about a group called “The BUD Family”.

 

 

She told her that the Juicy July programme was ongoing.

 

 

One thing led to another and she had her first prayer bulletin in her hands!

 

 

And she read Isaiah 10:27!

 

 

And the Holy Spirit whispered into her ears that “that day is today”.

 

 

The Holy Spirit ministered to her from Galatians 3:13 also and she burst out crying.

 

 

‘So, this is not ordinary!’

 

 

‘My quiet gentle husband wouldn’t have done this!’

 

 

‘And with the way I had sworn to be the best wife if God could give me the best man, I wouldn’t have spoken that badly to my husband. I would have been wise in presenting my case.’

 

 

‘The devil used my lack of knowledge against me!’ She cried.

 

 

‘He used this avenue to steal my baby from me’

 

 

‘I have been suffering under several curses! From my mum’s family, my dad’s family, even my in-laws’ family and I didn’t know!’ She wept even more.

 

 

Tomi could not contain it any longer!

 

 

‘Christ has redeemed me from all these curses? Really!!!! Why is the Devil still having a headway then? Kaiiiii!!! Enough is enough!!!’

 

 

Right then in the ward, she started praying, binding, casting, singing and worshipping God.

 

 

She started confessing the word and told the devil to get his hands off her family!

 

 

She called the police station on the phone and prayed for her husband!

 

 

She called her father and mother, spoke with them and spoke healing into their marriage.

 

 

She reminded them about the things they already knew but had forgotten.

 

 

Her husband met with the Lord too and his sentence was reduced to a year.

 

 

She learned to trust on the finished work of Christ and not on her works.

 

 

She overcame her pride and insultive character by reading the word, confessing it and spending time with God and with other believers.

 

 

Her husband came out after a year and they got joined together again. Soon, they were celebrating God’s faithfulness with their three kids and their large, fiery congregation of believers.

 

 

Her parents also halted the planned divorce and became marriage counsellors.

 

 

Hallelujah!

 

No matter the situation you are facing, the power of God is greater and mightier!

 

 

The blood of Jesus is available to redeem you from any curse be it from sin or from other avenues you have unknowingly walked into!

 

 

As long as you believe in the finished work of Christ, you shall not inherit any curse!

 

 

And if you have, you’d be delivered today in Jesus Name!

 

 

You may try to please God by merely obeying laws, but the bible calls it the curse of the law. Are you willing to lean on the grace of God today?

 

 

Are you ready to trust in God’s power alone?

Curses that make my family and I to be poor after having had so much wealth initially, Lord, waste them now in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

 

 

Curses that have made me to take back seat though I was destined for greatness, Lord send fire on them now! Let them burn to ashes in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

 

 

My destiny of greatness that curses have withheld, Lord cause them to be released unto me by fire!

 

 

Curses that are congenital in nature, Lord send them parking from my life with your fire in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

 

 

 

The curses that came on me by the virtue of the family I was born into, Lord use your power to wrought deliverance for me in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

 

 

Curses that came into my life in the mid-night, Lord arise in your power and send them out of my life in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

 

 

Spoken words of curses that put my life in bondage let the authority and the power of God loosen the chains of these words in my life.

 

 

Curses responsible for my barrenness, Holy Spirit judge these curses in the Mighty Name of Jesus!!

 

 

Curses responsible for lack of promotion at my working place, Lord I pray consume them with fire in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

 

 

Curses that lock me up in a prison of life, the Lord renounces you and set me free from you all in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

 

 

Curses that would make me have still-births; Lord do not allow these curses to operate any more in my life in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

 

 

Curses spoken into my placenta, that has turned or is planning to turn my life upside-down, Lord, let these curses be wasted with a mighty fire in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

 

 

I break free from every curse of the law for the word of the Lord says I am redeemed from the curse of the law in the Mighty Name of Jesus! (Gal 3:13)

 

 

I break all generational curses of pride, lust, perversion, rebellion, witchcraft, idolatry, poverty, rejection, fear, confusion, addiction, death, destruction (mention all you’ve noticed) in the name of Jesus.

 

 

I command all ancestral and generational spirits that came into my life during conception, in the womb, in the birth canal, and through the umbilical cord to come out in the name of Jesus.

 

 

Father in the name of Jesus, by the power in the blood that your son shed on the cross, I come against any stronghold that the devil has built in my life, and I close the door against the devil into my life! He is no longer welcome in Jesus name

 

 

I decree that I am blessed and not cursed. Therefore, any curse working against me or my family, I nullify it in the name of Jesus!

BUD, I declare that you are blessed in the name of Jesus! Curses are not your portion, curses of addiction and unfaithfulness to God, we nullify you in BUD in the mighty name of Jesus!

I declare that the nations call you blessed! Your friends call you blessed, Your coworkers call you blessed! You are blessed in the city, blessed in the fields, in your going out and coming in, in Jesus name!

 

 

I come against curses of addiction and unfaithfulness, regardless of their source in your life and in the life of your loved ones in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
