JUICY DAY TWO: LORD, STRENGTHENED ME!
TEXTS: Isaiah 40:30-31; Ps.84:7; Ex.15:2; Judges 16:6, 16-19; 2 Samuel 22:33; Neh.8:10; Psalm 18:32, 39; Ps. 71:16
Hello lovely Babes of Unique Dynamite.
It is the second day in our special fasting and prayer programme. How has it been there? You haven’t been fasting? Oh no! Please, even if it is three days, do something!
Tell the flesh that it doesn’t have control over you!
Tell your appetite that your taste for godly things and virtues is of more importance compared to food and pleasure!
Enough of that, let’s move on.
Quickly say a word of prayer to God today. What are you expecting from God today? How do you want Him to meet with you?
(Keep praying till you are led to pause. Then, let’s move.)
The first part of Proverbs 20:29 says: “The glory of young men is their strength”
This simple sentence tells us why the devil is focused on the youths to kill, steal and destroy but thank God for Our Lord Jesus Christ who went through that path and overcame!

Welcome back.
Lord Jesus is the Author and Finisher of faith of any Youth that care to succeed.
There are two dimensions of strength.
1. Physical strength (The strength of man)
2. Spiritual strength – This is the inner strength.
1. Physical strength (The strength of man)
In the song of Hannah in 11 Samuel 2:9, she says, “By strength shall no man prevail”.
The food we eat, where we live, what job we do affects to a great extent how our lives would be.
A twenty year old lady who eats noddles everyday of her life and is exposed to AC and all conveniences can obviously never be able to compete with a fifteen year old girl who had been working on a building site when it comes to carrying something.
Their physical strength varies and affects their different abilities.
PRAYER ONE: Oh Lord, I receive the strength to be strong in my body. Sicknesses, be gone! Infirmity, out! Weaknesses, you are bound and burnt to ashes! Fire in my body now in the Name of Jesus! Burn all the deposits of the enemies in my body which are sapping my strength. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.
2. Spiritual strength – (The inner strength of man)
The bible calls it the Strength of the Lord. It is the Spirit of His Might.
Psalm 71:16 says, “I will go in the strength of the Lord God.
Lovely sisters, to soar high with wings like eagle we must desire this strength! The Spiritual Strength!
We get it in prayer, in the study of the Word of God, in spiritual exercises (e.g. Fasting etc.) and so on.
PRAYER TWO: Lord, if I am strong physically and weak spiritually, it would have been better for me not to have been born Lord. Strengthen me in my Spirit! Strengthen my soul! Strengthen my spiritman in the Name of Jesus!
WHAT SAPS OUR SPIRITUAL STRENGTH?
In Luke 22:31; Jesus said to Peter, “…Satan wants to sift you, but I have prayed for you.”
Today, Satan has not stop sifting, especially the youths and that is why we need to be aggressive in prayer.
PRAYER 3: Lord, You prayed for Peter and that was why the devil’s plan over him failed. Lord, pray for me in advance so that as weak as Peter as I am now Lord, the plans of the devil will not materialize in my life in the Name of Jesus.
What then are these satanic instruments?
1. SIN: Sin stings!
Sin sinks one!
Sin saps one’s strength!
Joseph and Daniel knew this well in their days and never compromised with sin.
Samson fell into the lap of Delilah; and he lost his glory and strength- sadly.
“And he came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the Valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah. And the Lords of the philistines came up to her, and said unto her, Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lies, and by what means we may prevail against him….. And she made him sleep upon knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off, the given locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him”. Judges 16:4-5,19.
Every contact you have with a strange man/guy/porn/sex image, or act of fornication gets you into:
(a) the valley
(b) shaves off your head (glory)
(c) Takes away your strength.
The wise man, King Lemuel says in proverbs 31 vs. 3 “Give not your strength unto women, nor your ways to that which destroys kings”.
Do you know you are a priest and a king unto our God? Do you know you are a royal priesthood?
PRAYER 4: Oh Lord my Father, sin has dealt with me enough! It has beaten me a lot of times. It has thrown me on the ground and made me weak. God, this particular sin…..(Mention it) will destroy me if you not help me. Strengthen me to deal with the sin(s) before it/they deal with me in the Name of Jesus!
Another thing that saps our spiritual strength is:
2. WRONG ASSIGNMENT:
Nothing saps a man’s strength than embarking on a wrong assignment.
The bible talks about wasted years. What does this mean? It is a situation where you embark on the journey of life without destination. And destiny without destination leads to destruction”
“Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain”. Isaiah 49:49.
Have you been labouring being a Christian Writer when the Lord wants you to be a Christian presenter?
I came in contact with a scripture in Judges 9:8-15 and it changed my entire life. I discovered purpose-driven trees and I made up my mind to discover purpose.
“The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them;
And they said unto the olive tree, “Reign thou over us.” But the olive tree said unto them, “Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honour God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?”
And the trees said to the fig tree, Come thou, and reign over us. But the fig tree said unto them, Should I forsake my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees?
Then said the trees unto the vine, Come thou, and reign over us. And the vine said unto them, “Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?”
Then said all the trees unto the bramble, Come thou, and reign over us. And the bramble said unto the trees, “If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon”.
When you do not know God’s intent for creating you; then the following will be shown clearly in your life:
1. Job Dissatisfaction
2. Academic frustration.
3. Lack of focus
4. Instability
5. Lack of influence
6. Compromise – You will accept any offer. Jesus refused to accept the Kingship of this world because he knew his purpose for coming to the earth.
7. Lack of inner joy no matter the academic performance.
8. Frustration
9. Confusion etc.
If trees discovered their assignment to humanity what about you, the tree of Righteousness; the planting of the Lord?
PRAYER 5: If trees could know their purpose in life so much that they wouldn’t even give it up to become kings, Lord, help me to discover my purpose and stand by it in the Name of Jesus!
Another thing which saps one of spiritual strength is:
3. Ignorance or Spiritual Blindness: The more the light you encounter in God’s word the greater your strength within.
Ecclessiastes 10vs15, says “The labour of a foolish wearies everyone of them, because he knoweth not how to go the city”.
Knowledge saves strength, and time. It is not enough to discover God’s purpose, you must ask for the How?
Beloved sisters, you must be able to know the following and then you will begin to soar high in your calling:
What/Who? – My purpose
How? – To go about it
Where? – The location
When? – The timing
PRAYER 6: Lord, open my eyes, open my ears, open my spirit, open my feelings, open all my senses and take over them! I want to know! I want to know what to do, who to meet, where and when to meet them in the Name of Jesus!
Another one is:
4. Laziness: Idleness does not increase strength as some may think, rather it saps it.
“By much slothfulness, the building decays; and through idleness of the hands the house drops through”. Eccless.10:18
Are you idle? Are you slothful? Do you procrastinate? It is time to awake and work while it is day for the night comes when you can no more work.
Idleness will open the way to:
1. Mental dullness,
2. Lack of vision
3. Perverted thinking – To go into different sins and vices
4. Loss of inner strength.
PRAYER 7: Oh Lord my Father, I have been so lazy and insolent in this area and this area (Mention them) Forgive me. I have realized that it is a sin and a waste of my life. Forgive me oh Lord and have mercy in the Name of Jesus.
Another one is:
5. Prayerlessness: Prayer empowers the inner man. It supplies inner strength as you fellowship with the Holy Spirit and unite with God in the closet.
Daniel, Esther and Joseph were young people who soared high with inner strength by prayer. They could not be intimidated by the powers of their day.
In the place of prayer weapons of war are sharpened, strategies obtained and less strength is used.
When we pray, we will become strengthened.
Strengthened to resist the devil and he will flee!
Strength to intercede!
Strength to even forgive!!!!
Strength to love others!
Strength to be patient and longsuffering!
Oh what strength that comes from praying!
PRAYER 8: I receive prayer power in the Name of Jesus! I receive fire power in my bones! I will pray! I will find prayer easy! Everything in this community and environment, in my life and family warring against prayer, I destroy you and render you useless in the Name of Jesus!
6. Depression: A merry heart greases your bones and renew your strength but a moody heart does no good.
Whatever steals your joy steal your strength.
Sister, what is stealing your joy?
What steals our joy and leads to depression which invariably leads to loss of strength?
1. No Purpose: When you are not purposeful, confusion and depression is not far.
2. Low Self Esteem: which is tantamount to the lies of the devil. He says the negatives about your true identity and you believe it!
3.Unfriendly atmosphere: When you do not have friends or where you have friends or family members who are not friendly, you can be depressed, your strength will be sapped.
4. Ungodly delay – Academic pursuit, breakthrough and marriage. *When your set goals are not coming forth.
5. Disappointment or betrayal: When you are disappointed or betrayed, it will affect your mood, depression sets in and strength is gone!
PRAYER 9: Henceforth, no more depression in my life! Help me Lord to be wise when depression sets in so that I can quickly kick it in the butt in the Name of Jesus!
7. Fear: Fear is a satanic weapon assigned to weaken your strength, shatter your confidence and limit your height of attainment and exploit.
In Judges 8:20, “Gideon said to his first born, Jether to rise up and slay the enemies of God, but he could not because of fear.”
“But the youth drew not his sword; for he feared, because he was yet a youth”.
Apostle Paul told Timothy not to despise his youth.
PRAYER 10: Fear, I cast you out of my life in the Name of Jesus. Lord, increase my Faith! Father, strengthen my faith in the Name of Jesus.
8. Wrong Thoughts: “As a man thinketh in his heart so, he is” Proverbs 23:7
Your thought patterns will either strengthen your inner man or weaken you.
The devil knows very well that you cannot go beyond your thought level.
Do you want your strength to be renewed?
Do you want to soar high as eagles in life?
Then change your thought pattern as you conform to the word of God.
PRAYER 11: My thought life, come alive! Stop thinking dead things, come alive, in the Name of Jesus! As my thought life resurrects Lord, help me think good thoughts from today and think the Bible in the Name of Jesus!
9. Wrong Feeding/Spiritual Junks: Your spiritual feeding pattern will reduce from your strength or add to it.
What physical food is to the physical strength is what the Word of God is to the inner strength!
What do you feed on?
Spiritual junk?
PRAYER 12: Oh Lord, I am sorry for those times I’d fed my spirit with spiritual junks! I had read junky books and magazines that said the false things about You and that are set to destroy my soul. Forgive me oh Lord.
From today my Father, help me to always read what You want me to read, learn what You want me to learn, attend programmes that You want me to attend and be where You want me to be at all times in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
The effects of junky foods to my spirit is removed now! I am becoming renewed! Spiritual death is gone. Thank You Jesus. Amen.
LET US PRAY!
Let us begin to worship the Name of the LORD for He is worthy.
Thank God for the covenant of life. He preserved you because of His purpose in your life.
Thank God for His faithfulness despite your unfaithfulness.
Thank Him for being your strength.
Thank Him for the new height He’s taking you after this prayer.
Thank God for being your strength.
Are you still a sinner?
Or are you unsure of your salvation?
Read these verses prayerfully before proceeding: Job13:26; 20:11; Mark 7:21-23; Gal.5:19-21
Begin to confess and repent of sins : Lies, stealing, masturbation, vain imagination, pornography, rebellion, unfaithfulness, exam malpractice, stealing, sexual promiscuity, pride, falsehood. Etc.
Say this continually till you feel a release that you are already soaked in His Blood:
I receive the atonement of the blood of Jesus from the pollution of the sin of ————-.
I bind the spirit of masturbation, vain imagination,….. and cast you out of my life in the Gracious Name of Jesus.
(Read 2Corinthians 10:5 loudly to yourself)
I pull down the stronghold of sin upon my life in the Name of Jesus.
You arrow of lust fired to sap my strength, I catch you today and break you to pieces, crumbling you under my feet in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
You man/guy sent from the pit of hell after the order of Delilah to sap my strength, stumble and fall in the name of Jesus.
I reject every manipulation in my dream to sap my strength in the Name of Jesus. Even in my dreams from today, I will be strong!
You spiritual partner draining my strength through sex in the dream be destroyed by the Power in the Name of Jesus.
O Lord, separate me by fire from any friend, family member, groups, associate, lover assigned to waste my days in the Name of Jesus.
O Lord my God, deliver me from any project or vocation that is wasting my strength from today in the Name of Jesus.
Henceforth, my strength shall no more be wasted on unprofitable venture.
Father, deliver me from any wrong habit that is draining my Spiritual strength.
O Lord, deliver me from any unholy appetite that is killing my destiny gradually e.g. porn, masturbation, drugs, alcohol etc.
I obtain grace to wait upon the Lord until He renew my strength in the Name of Jesus.
I reject and command arrow of prayerlessness to come out of me and be broken to pieces in Jesus Name.
Spirit of might possess me now and strengthen me from the inner man in the Name of Jesus (Keep repeating till you are led to move on)
My inner man, receive fresh fire for exploit in Jesus name.
I receive grace to be quiet in the inner man.
Every worry, anxiety and noise going on within me be still in Jesus name.
O Lord, I am weak, renew my strength.
