Our topic for today is ‘LET THERE BE!’
Let me quickly tell you a story.
In the beginning, the only place that was beautiful was Heaven. Heaven was perfect and Holy and beautiful and without stain.
But the earth was dark and all waters! Waters covered everywhere in the earth. And you know, as beautiful and important as water is to humans, too much of water is deadly!
I can say that it is the most dangerous force on the earth, even more than fire! Yes! You see, water can put fire off, sand can quench fire, detergent and ash can out fire off, but what can put waters off? Nothing!
Let’s assume someone close to you had a dream. In the dream, the person found himself in a dark, lonely, roaring, large water, drowning, screaming and shouting for help, what singular message will come to your mind?
Trouble, right?
Death, right?
The end, right?
Exactly!
That was probably what went through God’s mind one day when His Spirit hovered or flew or moved upon the face of the deep or waters, darkness! (Any of these would be right)
God Himself is light, so, seeing darkness everywhere and waters (depression) spreading across the whole place and even roaring, He decided, He had to do something about it.
Sisters, what situation are you in right now in which you cannot see anything because of the darkness? You cannot hear anything because of the roaring of the waters? You cannot be comfortable because you are struggling to catch your breath as well as scream for help?
You see people around you with beautiful lives (heaven) but there you are in the middle of the darkness (waters)! No joy around you! No light! No gladness! No good news! No testimonies!
I have good news for you today, dear sister!
The Spirit of the Lord is around. He is hovering over your darkness right now! He is moving over the face of your depressing deep right now! He is here to bring solutions to your life!
This explanation that I have just given is what you can find in the book of Genesis 1:1-2
1 In the beginning God created (carved out) the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Halleluyah!
So, God saw the darkness and He was not comfortable with it. That is our God for you! He is not comfortable with that darkness in your life. He is interested in introducing light into it! And I tell you that light is powerful! Light is evasive! A little torch can brighten up a dark tunnel! Where light is, darkness cannot reign!
Every darkness reigning in my life, your time is up, be subdued by the light of the Almighty God right now in the Name of Jesus!
Did you shout the prayer above very loud and clear?
What is that darkness in your life?
There is a song in Yoruba that says:
Sugbon kan n be laye mi (There is a ‘yet’ in my life)
Emi ko fe mo la toni lo (I don’t it henceforth!)
Oba to wo sugbon Jabesi (The Lord that dealt with the ‘yet’ of Jabez)
Wo sugbon aye mi (Dealt with the ‘yet’ of my life)
The ‘yet’ I want us to look at in the next few seconds is the one of Namaan!
According to the Bible, Naaman was a commander of the army of Syria. He was a good commander and was held in favour because of the victory that God brought him. Yet Naaman was a leper.
Oh my goodness!
What is the yet in your own life?
Are you beautiful, yet a dullard?
Are you ‘spiritual’, yet a sickly person?
Are you intelligent, yet so poor?
Are you trying, yet stagnant?
What is that deep, depressing, roaring oceanic and pacific darkness hanging over your life?
Oh Lord arise in Your omnipotence, and deal with this deep, depressing, roaring, oceanic problem of my life! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH LORD! (Pray so loud and clear 7x)
Then, God spoke!
I said, God spoke!
And when God speaks, every power must keep silent and obey!
When God speaks, gates and doors must be lifted up!
When God speaks, mountains and hills must melt!
When God speaks, darkness must be dispelled!
Speak Your Word only, Lord, and I am sure this depressing history of my life would be gone forever. Speak Your Word of light into my darkness Dear Father! (7x)
God said ‘Let there be light!’
And sisters, there was light!
It means if God says into my life ‘Let there be joy in Lizzy’s life!’ it shall be so!
Then, God examined the light and He nodded with affirmation and satisfaction that ‘This is good!’
And God’s good means it is good! It cannot be improved or upgraded. It is good! It is in its best form! Nothing can diminish from it or add to it! Even if people see it, they would know that such is designed by the greatest power ever!
3 And God said, let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Light from Heaven, step into my life this very moment and separate me from this darkness that has been roaring in my life nonstop in the Name of Jesus! From this day forward, darkness, I bid a permanent farewell to you! May we never meet again in the mighty Name of Jesus! (7x)
God as a very good artist and creator, checked through earth again and saw that that was not the only need in its life. The water was still much. ‘This place still needs something else’ He must have thought.
‘Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters’
He said it and trust Him, dear sisters, it was so!
But the water was still much! So, He said:
‘Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear’
Oh, gracious Lord!
It was so!
The best architect ever!
When He is on your case, He doesn’t leave any stone unturned!
He also said:
Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth
And it was so! And after he examined them, they were all good!
Thereafter, He said:
Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
And it was so! Also, after he examined them, they were all good!
Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
And….
Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind:
All that the Almighty said came to pass and they were all good!
Can we then say that the Lord is the most creative person ever!
Sure!
That the seas and oceans we see, the mountains and the valleys and the vegetations were all created (carved out)- BY HIS WORDS???!!!
Oh, my goodness!
This is simply supernatural!
Our God is great!
God carved out the world by His Word and He’s given us the power to do the same!
If there is anything awry in your life, you can shape or form it with His word!
God carved out everything by His words. God carved out everything in the spiritual realm by calling them forth.
Dear sisters, this is July!
The month of perfection is here!
Six months of 2021 is gone!
And in January, we got to know that 2021 is our year of joyful noise. If you are yet to see it, call it forth!
If you are yet to see joy, call it forth!
If you are yet to see gladness, call it forth!
If you are yet to see light, call it forth!
If you are yet to see greatness, call it forth!
Those promises that God had promised you, if you are yet to see them, call them forth!
Let there be light in the dark areas of my life Lord!
Let there be spiritual upliftment in my life dear Jesus!
Let there be healing in my bones, dear Saviour!
Let there be plenty and surplus!
That is the way to do it! Just like our God did it!
We have the Holy Spirit in us and when declare a thing, it shall come to pass according to His will for our lives!
Job 22: 28 says ‘Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.’
Are you ready to pray?
Before we pray, let’s do something.
Pick up your prayer note and pen and start to write down the deep, dark, roaring and scary areas of your life.
Write as many areas as you can remember, even the seemingly simple ones. As long as you can see some dark areas already or you can see dark areas approaching, write them down. You will need them when we start praying.
WHEN YOU ARE DONE, YOU CAN CONTINUE:
Let’s take this powerful song very quickly. If you know it, sing it with so much life three times before you start praying. If you do not know it, make sure you learn it till you know it before starting the prayers. I will ask you during the Bible study in the house at 5pm, okay?

SHALL WE PRAY?
Begin to worship the Name of the Lord. For He is good. For His mercies endure forever!
Heavenly Father, I speak out your light over and into any dark area of my life by the reason of your hovering spirit in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Heavenly Father, I speak a divine separation from anything that holds me back in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father, because of the supreme authority in your name, as an individual, I take dominion over any sea, atmosphere and environment in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father, I enforce your very word of blessings declared in verse 28 into every area of my life that may it be just as you said it, that; “It was so and it was good” in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

Oh God you gave me dominion from the beginning of your creation , from today I begin to take charge in everywhere I am and I go in Jesus name.
Oh God you gave me a command from the beginning to be fruitful and replenish the earth, so therefore barreness is not my potion, from today I destroy all works of barreness in my life in Jesus name.
Oh God you saw everything about your creation and said that it was good , so from today let the whole universe begin to see and experience your goodness in me in Jesus name Amen .
