DAY 17: ZOE AND THE MYSTERY OF MARRIAGE
JUICY JULY 2026: ZOE UNLEASHED!
TEXT: GENESIS 1:26-28
BIBLE STUDY: MATTHEW 16
Welcome to Juicy July 2026, Day 17!
Glory be to God! Welcome to Day 17 of Juicy July 2026 dear sisters. As we begin, let us return all the glory to our Heavenly Father for the incredible journey He has taken us on. Day after day, the Holy Spirit has been faithfully opening our eyes to profound truths. We are deeply grateful that the entrance of His words gives light, and we thank Him for counting us worthy to sit quietly at His feet to learn of Him.
Looking back over the past few days, we have walked through a truly remarkable journey together. We first discovered that God planted the incorruptible Seed of Christ within us; a divine Seed that was never meant to remain dormant, but to grow until Christ is fully formed in our lives.
We saw that Christ is now our Tree of Life, and that we must continually feed upon Him through His Word, His voice, and intimate fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Through this, we realized that the Gospel is not merely about the forgiveness of sins or escaping hell, but the glorious good news that the God of heaven has adopted us as His sons and is building an eternal family for Himself.
Just yesterday, we returned to the very beginning to recover the original mandate God gave to humanity: to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish the earth, to subdue it, and to have dominion.
If you look closely, you can see how carefully and intentionally the Holy Spirit has been leading us. He has not been giving us isolated, disconnected teachings. Instead, He has been building one revelation upon another, leading us step by step into His eternal purpose, where every single day’s study lays another essential stone in the same glorious building.
May we never rush ahead of Him, and may we never allow ourselves to become overly familiar with these sacred truths. Instead, let us pray that our hearts remain humble, teachable, and perpetually hungry for more of Him.
Yesterday, I mentioned that we would return to Genesis 1:26-28 because those three verses are far too rich for us to exhaust in a single sitting. There are mysteries hidden deep within them that are foundational to everything God has ever intended to do on the earth.
Before we continue our study today, I want to invite you to pause and do something. Please do not rush through this.
Take your Bible, open it once again to Genesis 1:26-28, and read those verses slowly, prayerfully, and more than once. As you read, do not merely search for information; instead, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the very heart of the Father hidden within those lines.
Keep your journal close by and write down every observation that comes to your heart during this quiet time. Apart from the fivefold mandate we studied yesterday, what else do you notice? What words seem unusual or stand out to you? What patterns do you see emerging, and what questions begin to rise within your spirit? Sit there for a little while to meditate, to wonder, to ask questions, and to wait quietly before the Lord.
Now, pray: “Father, show me more. Open my eyes again. Reveal Yourself to me through Your Word.”
Now, with our hearts quiet before Him and our Bibles wide open, let us continue our journey together into one of the greatest mysteries hidden in the beginning.
START FROM DAY 1 HERE IN CASE YOU ARE NEW. DON’T JUMP THE STUDY THANK YOU.
Let us take our first song for the day prayerfully:
GOD, GIVE US HOMES! by Dynamite Films Africa

OPENING PRAYER
Father, thank You for bringing me into another day of this glorious journey. Open the eyes of my understanding today. Remove every veil from my heart, and let me see Your truth as You desire me to see it. Let Your Word become life to me, not just knowledge. Teach me by Your Holy Spirit, and let the life of Christ become more real to me than ever before. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
EXHORTATION: ZOE AND THE MYSTERY OF MARRIAGE
And did not God make [you and your wife] one [flesh]? Did not One make you and preserve your spirit alive? And why [did God make you two] one? Because He sought a godly offspring [from your union]… Malachi 2:15 AMPC
Glory be to God!
My sisters, let us now go back to our main text and read it once again:
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion…” (Genesis 1:26). F
The very first thing that catches our attention is the phrase, “And God said…”, not, “And gods said…” We know there is only one God, a truth firmly established throughout the Scriptures, perhaps most famously in Deuteronomy 6:4: “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.”
Yet, immediately after introducing this one God, the Bible records Him saying, “Let Us…” Did you notice that? One God, yet He says, “Let Us…” Who exactly is God talking to?
As we continue reading, we encounter another striking shift: “Let Us make man…” Notice that the word is “man,” not “men.” It is entirely singular: one man. Yet, before we can even settle into that thought, the very next statement surprises us: “…and let them have dominion.”
Them? Who is “them”?
Naturally speaking, we would expect the verse to read, “Let Us make man… and let him have dominion,” but that is not what the Holy Scriptures say. Instead, He deliberately wrote, “…let them have dominion.”
This incredible pattern continues as we read on into the next verses: “So God created man in His own image…” Again, we see the singular “man.”
But immediately, the Scripture adds, “…male and female created He them.” There it is again:”them,” not “him.”
Moving into the next verse, we see this plural focus consolidated: “And God blessed them…”, not “God blessed him,” followed by, “And God said unto them…”, again choosing “them” over “him.”
My sisters, can you see that the Holy Spirit is repeatedly and intentionally moving from the singular to the plural, from “man” to “them”?
This is not a grammatical mistake, an accident, or anything like that. This is the Holy Spirit drawing our attention to a profound mystery.
One of the greatest mistakes we make when studying the Bible is reading too quickly, assuming we already know what a verse says because we have seen it so many times. But sometimes, the greatest revelations are hidden in the smallest details.
As Jesus Himself said in Matthew 5:18, “…one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law…”
Every word, expression, and detail matters.
So before we move any further, let us pause to think about it: Why did the one God say, “Let Us”? Why did He create man, yet immediately speak of “them”?
Why does the singular suddenly become plural, and what exactly is He trying to reveal to us?
My sisters, we are standing before one of the greatest mysteries in the entire Bible. If the Holy Spirit opens our eyes to understand it, I honestly believe we will never look at ourselves, marriage, family, or God’s eternal purpose in the same way again. Let us go a little deeper.
THE MYSTERY OF THE GODHEAD
Before we can understand the mystery of man, we must first seek to understand the mystery of God Himself. After all, the Scriptures reveal: “And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness…” (Genesis 1:26).
If humanity was intentionally designed to reflect God’s very image, then our first and most important question must be: “Who is God?”
From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible is absolutely clear that there is only one God, a fundamental truth declared in Deuteronomy 6:4: “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.” There are not many gods; there is only one true God.
When we return to Genesis with this understanding, we see that when God said, “Let Us make man in Our image,” He was definitely not speaking to angels. Humanity was never made in the image or likeness of angels; we were made in the image and likeness of God. Therefore, when the Father spoke those words, the Son and the Holy Spirit were right there.
The entire creation process was an expression of the perfect unity within the Godhead: the Father purposed it, the Word spoke it, and the Spirit moved to accomplish it. We see this in the very opening of Genesis: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth… And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters” (Genesis 1:1–2), followed immediately by God speaking.
The New Testament confirms that all things were made by and through the Word. There is no competition, no confusion, no striving for position, and no struggle for recognition. Only perfect unity, perfect cooperation, and perfect love exists in the Godhead.
So, if man was created in the image of such a God, shouldn’t we expect to see this same beautiful unity reflected somewhere in humanity?
Shouldn’t there be a design in our lives that mirrors this glorious divine oneness?
The answer is a resounding yes.
Let us go a little deeper.
THE MYSTERY OF MAN
Now that we have seen the mystery of the Godhead, let us return to the vital question we left unanswered: Why did the one God say, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness…”, and then immediately continue by saying, “…and let them have dominion”?
The answer is hidden in the very next verse: “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them” (Genesis 1:27).
Did you see it? God created man, and then He immediately explains who that man actually is: male and female!
My sisters, this is a profound mystery.
In the eyes of God, “man” is male and female together. God was not looking at Adam alone, nor was He looking at Eve alone; He was looking at the complete man He had created in His heart.
This truth becomes even clearer in Genesis chapter 2. Many people mistakenly think Genesis chapter 2 is just a second, different creation story, but it is not. Genesis chapter 1 gives us the summary, while Genesis chapter 2 unfolds the details.
God did not suddenly realize that Adam was lonely as if He had made a mistake; God was intentionally unfolding His eternal, perfect design. The Bible says: “It is not good that the man should be alone…” (Genesis 2:18).
This is the first time in the entire Bible that God says something is “not good.”
Light, the heavens, the earth, the seas, the animals, everything God made was declared good. Then suddenly, He declares that it is not good for man to be alone. Why? Was Adam unhappy? No, he was in perfect fellowship with God. Was God correcting a mistake? Certainly not.
God was revealing a mystery.
He did not go back to the dust of the ground to fashion another human being from scratch. Instead, He caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, reached inside the man, and from his very side, He brought out the woman. The woman came out of the man because she belonged in him; she shared the exact same life, the same nature, and the same humanity.
This is why Adam did not say, “Here is a nice companion.” No, his response was: “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh…” (Genesis 2:23). He recognized himself!
He was looking at another person, yet he saw his own life reflected back. The Apostle Paul later explains this exact mystery in 1 Corinthians 11:8: “For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.”
Can you see what God was doing?
He took one, revealed two from that one, so that the two could dynamically become one again!
Marriage was never intended to be the joining together of two total strangers; it was the sacred reunion of what had originally belonged together.
This is why the Bible says: “…and they shall be one flesh” (Genesis 2:24).
The Bible does not say one team, one organization, or one partnership. It says one flesh: one life, one purpose, one vision, and one testimony.
To take this one step further, the prophet Malachi says something extraordinary: “And did not He make one?… And wherefore one? That He might seek a godly seed” (Malachi 2:15).
Some translations make this emphasis even clearer, asking, “Did not the One God make them one?”
Why was oneness so critically important to God? Because He was seeking a godly seed!
My sisters, this is one of the greatest revelations about marriage.
Marriage was never created merely to make people happy; it was created to make them holy.
It was never merely for casual companionship; it was created to produce a godly seed; not just children according to the flesh, but generations that reveal the image and likeness of God on the earth.
Can you see now why the Holy Spirit kept saying, “them”? The mandate of dominion could never be fulfilled by Adam alone, nor could it be fulfilled by Eve alone. It could only be fulfilled when the man and his wife walked in perfect oneness. This is the mystery of man.
And this is exactly why Satan has spent thousands of years trying to destroy that oneness. He knows that once oneness is lost, the original purpose of God is hindered.
AND THE BLESSING WAS UPON ‘THEM’
Now, my sisters, let us observe something else that is equally astonishing. The Bible says: “And God blessed them…” (Genesis 1:28). It does not say He blessed him alone; He blessed them.
Then the Scripture continues: “And God said unto them…” Again, the Holy Spirit does not write “unto him.” It is “unto them.”
Then came the mighty, fivefold mandate: “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion…”
To whom was this divine mandate given? It was given to them.
My sisters, this is of utmost, vital importance. Everything we looked at yesterday: fruitfulness, multiplication, replenishing the earth, subduing the earth, and having dominion, was not spoken to Adam alone, nor was it spoken to Eve alone. It was spoken directly to them.
Can you now see that God’s original plan was never for isolated, independent individuals? It was always designed for oneness.
The power was hidden in the union, the blessing was pronounced upon the union, the mandate was entrusted to the union, and the dominion was to flow through the union.
Even naturally speaking, God built this profound mystery into the very fabric of creation itself. A man cannot reproduce life by himself, and a woman cannot reproduce life by herself. God deliberately designed physical creation so that life would only come forth through the coming together of a man and a woman.
This design was never merely about having children; it was God preaching a powerful, eternal sermon. He was showing us that His Kingdom advances through covenant, through oneness, through unity, and through two dynamically becoming one.
This is exactly why the prophet Malachi declares: “And wherefore one? That He might seek a godly seed” (Malachi 2:15). God made them one because He was seeking a godly seed.
Absolutely everything Heaven wanted to accomplish on the earth was hidden inside that oneness. Fruitfulness was hidden there. Multiplication was hidden there. Replenishing the earth with the very life of God was hidden there. Subduing darkness was hidden there, and dominion over every earthly realm was hidden there.
The home was never merely a place to live; it was meant to become the first, truest expression of the Kingdom of God upon the earth.
Now, if all of God’s eternal purposes are hidden inside this oneness, if His blessing is upon this oneness, and if His dominion flows through this oneness, then it should not surprise us at all that Satan has spent thousands of years trying to target, dilute, and destroy it. And that is exactly what we shall now consider.
WHY SATAN HATES MARRIAGE
Satan does not hate marriage because he hates romance; he hates marriage because it is the very cradle of God’s original purpose on the earth. If he can destroy marriage, he destroys the family. If he destroys the family, he weakens the church. If he weakens the church, society quickly follows.
This is exactly what we are witnessing today.
The home has become the primary battlefield of the enemy. He knows that if he can destroy the oneness between a husband and a wife, he has already cut off and weakened everything God intended to flow through that union.
This is why the enemy constantly whispers the self-centered language of the world: “My life,” “My career,” “My purpose,” “My dreams,” “My money,” ”My womb,” ”My body,” “My family,” and “My happiness.”
Everything in this generation is designed to push people toward independence. But the Kingdom of God speaks a completely different language: the language of surrender, of covenant, of dying to self, and of becoming one.
Selfishness, therefore, is one of the greatest enemies of marriage. The Bible warns us that in the last days, “…men shall be lovers of their own selves…” (2 Timothy 3:2). Can you imagine that?
The very first sign the Holy Spirit gives of the end times is not outward persecution, but inward selfishness. And nothing destroys oneness faster than selfishness.
When two people both insist on living for themselves, oneness dies;
when they insist on defending themselves instead of dying to self, love begins to disappear.
When both are busy building separate kingdoms, the Kingdom of God cannot be built through them.
Satan understands this perfectly, which is why he fights courtship, covenant, forgiveness, honor, submission, headship, agreement, and praying together. He fights absolutely everything that produces oneness because he knows that if oneness is destroyed, the mandate is weakened.
THE POWER OF ONENESS
There is undeniable, supernatural power in oneness. This is why the Scriptures continually emphasize the power of agreement. Jesus tells us in Matthew 18:19, “If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done…”, and Deuteronomy 32:30 declares, “One shall chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight…”
Notice that God did not say two would chase two thousand. No, two put ten thousand to flight! Godly unity does not merely add power; it exponentially multiplies it.
We even see this principle operating in the negative at the Tower of Babel. When the people gathered themselves together with one language, one speech, one purpose, one vision, and one project, God Himself looked down and testified: “…the people is one… and now nothing will be restrained from them…” (Genesis 11:6).
Did you see that? These people were not even serving God, yet their unity was so powerful that the Creator Himself acknowledged its strength. He scattered them not because unity was evil, but because they were using that unity for evil purposes.
If fallen unity can build Babel, what can holy, Christ-centered unity build?
WHAT SATAN REALLY STOLE IN EDEN
Now, my sisters, can you see that what Satan attacked in the Garden of Eden was much bigger than just a husband and a wife? He was not merely trying to separate Adam and Eve as individuals; he was directly attacking the very image and likeness of God.
He was targeting God’s divine government upon the earth, seeking to sabotage the Father’s eternal plan to fill the entire creation with His own life.
Remember what we have been studying throughout the past days. God’s original plan was that man would eat from the Tree of Life, allowing the very life of God to fill him. The man and the woman, walking together in perfect, undivided oneness, would then reproduce a godly seed.
Those children would likewise feed upon God, walk with God, and reproduce more godly seed.
Generation after generation, the entire earth would have eventually become filled with people who perfectly reflected God’s image and likeness.
Can you picture that glorious reality? The entire earth would have become a living, breathing expression of God Himself.
There would have been no corruption, no violence, no broken homes, no rebellion, and no death. The knowledge of God would have covered the earth naturally and beautifully as families multiplied His life from one generation to another. That was Heaven’s original blueprint.
But Satan understood a critical spiritual law that if he could corrupt the very first family, he could corrupt every family that followed it!
If he could break that first, holy oneness, he could weaken every oneness after it.
If he could stop the godly seed at its very source, he could fill the earth with a completely different kind of seed.
And tragically, that is exactly what happened!
Once sin entered, Adam could no longer reproduce after God’s likeness. Instead, the Scripture reveals a heartbreaking shift: “And Adam… begat a son in his own likeness, after his image…” (Genesis 5:3).
Did you notice that tragic change? In Genesis chapter 1, man was made in God’s image; by Genesis chapter 5, Adam was producing children after Adam’s fallen image.
The divine image and likeness had become corrupted. Consequently, masculinity and femininity became distorted, marriage became corrupted, and the family structure collapsed, leading to the corruption of the entire earth.
Everything God had designed to release life into the world now began releasing death instead.
This is why the curse touched every single part of human existence. The woman began to experience pain and relational struggle, while the man labored by the sweat of his brow. The beautiful harmony that once existed between them devolved into a bitter battle for control.
The atmosphere of joyful, effortless oneness was instantly replaced by the toxic atmosphere of self. Pride, blame, fear, shame, competition, and control entered the human heart. Instead of living to serve one another as one, each person began living strictly for themselves.
With the Fall, both masculinity and femininity became corrupted. The man, who was created to lovingly represent the Christ on earth, became harsh, selfish, passive, or domineering.
The woman, who was created to beautifully reflect the Church, became fearful, manipulative, independent, controlling, or rebellious.
Both tragically lost the beauty of what God had originally designed them to be. The Fall did not simply affect isolated individuals; it deeply affected the very first institution through which God intended to reveal Himself.
Consequently, marriage could no longer accurately reflect the Godhead. Oneness gave way to division, love gave way to selfishness, submission gave way to rebellion, and headship gave way to domination.
Instead of two dynamically becoming one, each person began to live strictly for self.
CHRIST CAME TO RESTORE THE BLUEPRINT
My sisters, if Satan corrupted God’s original design in the Garden, does that mean God’s eternal purpose has failed? Absolutely not!
God never abandons His purpose; instead, He restores it. This is the very reason Jesus Christ came.
Jesus came to recover absolutely everything that Adam lost. He came to restore the image, the likeness, the sonship, the dominion, and, yes, He came to restore marriage!
When you read the Gospels carefully, you discover that Jesus did not merely teach about marriage; He lived out the very pattern that marriage was always meant to reveal.
He showed us, first of all, what true headship looks like. While the world insists that a head is someone who controls and dominates others, Jesus demonstrated that a true head is one who lays down his life:
“Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28).
He washed dirty feet, He served, He carried heavy burdens, He forgave freely, and He sacrificed Himself completely. That is biblical headship.
At the same time, Jesus showed us what perfect submission looks like. Although He is equal with the Father, He delighted in obeying Him, declaring, “My meat is to do the will of Him that sent Me” (John 4:34), and “I seek not Mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent Me” (John 5:30). Even in the agony of Gethsemane, He prayed, “Nevertheless not My will, but Thine, be done” (Luke 22:42).
Can you see the beauty in this? Headship and submission are not products of the Fall. They are beautiful, eternal realities that already existed in the perfect Godhead!
The Son joyfully submitted to the Father, and the Father perfectly loved the Son. There was no oppression, no competition, and no insecurity. Only love, trust, and perfect unity.
This is exactly what Satan has tried to corrupt in marriage. He has made headship look harsh and tyrannical, and he has made submission look degrading and weak, making people deeply suspicious of God’s perfect design.
But, my sisters, whenever Satan corrupts something, he is only proving how precious that thing is to God. Counterfeits only exist because the originals are highly valuable.
Therefore, we must refuse to learn about marriage from the world. The world did not create marriage, social media did not design it, movies did not invent it, and culture did not establish it. God did, and only the Creator has the right to define it!!
We must continually bring our minds before the Word of God and ask the Holy Spirit to renew us.
Many of us have been influenced by painful past experiences, grew up in broken homes, watched unhealthy marriages, or have been taught ideas that sound worldly-wise but are completely contrary to Scripture. Yet, God’s blueprint has never changed. His design and His wisdom remain absolutely perfect, and His ways are still infinitely higher than ours.
My sisters, let us never allow the failures of men to make us reject the wisdom of God. Instead, let us return to the feet of our Creator and ask Him to teach us afresh what it truly means to be a husband, what it truly means to be a wife, and what it truly means to become one.
For when Christ restores His order within the home, oh how glorious! The home becomes the first sanctuary, the marriage becomes the first sermon, and children begin to see the love of Christ before they can even understand doctrine.
A godly seed begins to arise, the Church grows stronger, society begins to change, and revival begins to spread.
I sincerely believe there can never be a lasting revival on earth while God’s blueprint for the home remains rejected.
If we must recover society, we must recover the Church; if we must recover the Church, we must recover the home; and if we must recover the home, we must return to Christ, for He alone perfectly reveals the Father’s original design.
This is why the restoration of marriage is not merely a family issue. It is a Kingdom issue, a Gospel issue, and a Zoe-life issue. For wherever God’s order is restored, His life begins to flow once again.
THE HOME: THE NURSERY OF GOD’S KINGDOM
My sisters, can you now see why the devil fights the home so fiercely? The home is not just a physical structure where people sleep at night, nor is it merely a place where children are raised. The home is the very first place where the Kingdom of God is meant to find active, living expression on the face of the earth.
Before there was ever a nation, before there was Israel, before there was a tabernacle, a temple, a synagogue, or even a local church, there was a home!!!
The first institution God ever established in the history of humanity was not civil government, business, or education. It was marriage!!!
The home is Heaven’s first institution, and absolutely everything else was designed to flow beautifully out of it.
Can a church ever be stronger than the homes that make up that church? Can a society ever be healthier than the families that make up that society? Of course not.
The Church is simply a collection of homes, and society is simply a collection of families.
If our homes become spiritually sick, our churches will inevitably become sick; and if the churches become sick, the nations follow. That is exactly the tragedy we are witnessing in the world today.
We keep praying for revival, organizing massive conferences, fasting, and holding overnight vigils, all of which are wonderful and necessary, yet we so often neglect the very place where revival was meant to take root and begin: the home!
My sisters, there can never be a lasting, generational revival on the earth while our homes remain broken. The Church can only be as healthy as its constituent families. This is why the Apostle Paul wrote that before a man can oversee God’s house, he must first know how to govern his own house well:
“For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?” (1 Timothy 3:5).
Did you notice that?
God measures public ministry by private faithfulness.
Before Heaven entrusts anyone with the Church, He looks at the state of their home, because the home is the ultimate training ground of the Kingdom.
The home is the nursery where sons and daughters of God are raised, the school where Christ is formed, and the workshop where character is built.
It is the first altar where children learn the power of prayer, the first classroom where they learn the Word, and the first place they witness genuine forgiveness, humble submission, and sacrificial love. It is the very first place they should see Christ.
This is why the devil wants to fill our homes with division, pride, and noise. He knows that if children never see Christ modeled in their parents, they will struggle to believe the Christ they hear preached from a pulpit on Sunday!!!!
The greatest sermon our children will ever hear is not preached from an altar; it is preached every single day at home.
It is preached through a husband loving his wife as Christ loved the Church, a wife joyfully yielding to the Lord, and parents walking in perfect harmony, forgiving one another, praying together, serving together, and dying to self daily.
That is true revival. That is the Kingdom of God made visible!!!
The home was never meant to merely produce socially successful people; it was meant to produce a godly seed. It was meant to produce mature sons and daughters who will fill the earth with the image and likeness of God.
Can you now understand why marriage is so precious to the Father? It is not merely because He loves husbands and wives; it is because through godly, unified homes, He is building His eternal family.
DEAR SINGLES
My dear single sisters, if there is one decision, apart from giving your life to Jesus Christ, that will shape almost every other part of your earthly journey, it is the person you choose to marry.
Now, I want to ask you a very personal question. When Adam first laid eyes on Eve, he immediately cried out in wonder: “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh…” (Genesis 2:23). How did he know? There had never been another woman before her, and there had never been another marriage on the face of the earth. Yet, there was an unmistakable inward witness. In that instant, he recognized that she had come out of him; that she truly belonged to him and fit him perfectly.
Now, let me ask you: do you have enough faith to believe that your own “bone” is out there somewhere?
Do you truly believe that the God who took Eve out of Adam is still able to lead you directly to the man into whom you fit perfectly?
I am not talking about worldly compatibility. I am not talking about sharing the same taste in music, or both of you being singers, doctors, or engineers, or simply having similar personalities. No, I am talking about eternal purpose. I am talking about divine destiny. I am talking about two lives that fit together because they were intentionally designed by God to fulfill one specific, divine assignment.
When you speak with people who genuinely sought the Lord before marriage and who are doing marriage the God-way, you hear the same testimony repeatedly: as the years go by, they discover more and more how perfectly God had joined them together. The strengths of one supply the weaknesses of the other. The burdens of one become the burdens of the other, and the grace upon one beautifully complements the grace upon the other. There is a deep, inward knowing that says, “This is where I belong.”
That is exactly what God intended from the beginning. The woman came out of the man; where the man lacked, the woman supplied, and where the woman lacked, she found completion in the man. Together, they became one complete man before God.
My sisters, do you believe God still does this today? Or do you think Genesis is merely a beautiful story with no practical reality for our generation?
No! Our God has not changed. He is still writing stories, He is still ordering footsteps, and He is still bringing people together according to His eternal purpose.
The Scriptures say concerning the Lord Jesus: “Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of Me…” (Psalm 40:7; Hebrews 10:7). In the same way, your life has a divine script. Your days were written before you lived even one of them: “In Thy book all my members were written… when as yet there was none of them” (Psalm 139:16).
He knows your going out and your coming in. He knows your purpose and your assignment. Do you not think He also knows the exact person with whom you are to fulfill that assignment?
This is why you must become a woman of the Spirit. Walk with God, pray, listen, look inward, and become sensitive to the Holy Spirit. He delights in leading His children. He knows exactly where your future husband is today, and He knows exactly how to bring both of you together.
My sisters, do you think this was a coincidence?
After Abraham had offered Isaac upon Mount Moriah, the Lord made a covenant promise concerning Isaac and his descendants:
“That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.” – Genesis 22:17
A few chapters later, Abraham sent Eliezer to find a wife for Isaac. Eliezer did not go trusting his own wisdom. He prayed earnestly for the Lord’s leading, and God answered him with remarkable precision. The Lord led him directly to Rebekah (Genesis 24:12-27).
Now watch what happened as Rebekah was leaving her family to marry Isaac. Her relatives blessed her, saying:
“And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them.” – Genesis 24:60
Did you notice it?
These were people who had never met Abraham. Rebekah had never met Isaac. Yet they pronounced almost the very same blessing that God Himself had spoken over Isaac.
God had said:
“…I will multiply thy seed… and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.” — Genesis 22:17
Rebekah’s family said:
“…Be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them.” — Genesis 24:60
Was that a coincidence?
Certainly not.
Heaven was bringing together two lives that belonged to the same covenant, the same purpose, and the same script. God was not merely choosing a wife for Isaac; He was bringing together two people whose destinies had already been written into one divine story.
My sisters, our God has not changed. He is still the God who orders the steps of His children. He still knows your purpose. He still knows your calling. He still knows the man with whom your life will best fulfil His eternal purpose.
Do not be in a hurry. Become a woman of the Spirit. Walk with your Father. Learn to hear His voice. Trust His leading. The God who led Eliezer to Rebekah is still able to lead His daughters today. He writes beautiful stories for those who are willing to wait for Him.
My sisters, God is never limited by geography. Your future husband may be in another city, another country, or even on another continent. That does not trouble God in the least. The God who orders the stars also orders the steps of His children. When His perfect time comes, He knows exactly how to bring two lives together. And when He does, there is often that quiet, undeniable witness within: not just excitement or emotion, but a deep assurance born of the Spirit that says, “This is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh.”
But walking this path requires real faith: “Without faith it is impossible to please Him” (Hebrews 11:6). Believe that your Father is deeply interested in every detail of your life. Believe that His will is perfect and that His choice is infinitely better than yours.
Dear single sisters, please take this to heart. Do not run ahead of God. Walk with Him, wait for Him, and trust Him. When He leads, follow Him with all your heart. You will never, ever regret allowing your loving Father to write your story.
DEAR MARRIED
My dear married, enough of fighting one another, enough of giving the devil a place in your home, and enough of allowing self to rule where Christ alone should reign. Your husband is not your enemy, and your wife is not your competitor. The real enemy has always been Satan, who has been tirelessly fighting the sacred oneness that God established from the very beginning.
The Bible warns us clearly: “Neither give place to the devil” (Ephesians 4:27).
My sisters, many homes have unknowingly become battlefields, not because God intended them to be, but simply because a husband and a wife have forgotten who the real enemy is.
God never called you to fight each other. He called both of you to fight together against everything that wants to destroy your home.
Remember what we have learned today: when God looks at a husband and a wife, He sees one. He did not just call them husband and wife; He called them “man.” Adam and Eve together were God’s “man”-one life, one purpose, one assignment, one house, and one testimony. If that is how God sees you, then why should you spend your strength fighting yourself? I
nstead, turn your fight against the real intruders: fight pride, fight selfishness, fight bitterness, fight offense, fight unforgiveness, and fight every single seed of division. Fight every whisper of the enemy that says, “Protect yourself,” and fight everything that wants to destroy your oneness. Die to yourself, love one another, forgive quickly, pray together, fast together, be transparent, and be vulnerable. Allow Christ to continually break both of you until His Zoe-life begins to flow freely through your home.
Do your marriage unto the Lord. The husband must love his wife as unto the Lord, and the wife must submit as unto the Lord. Do not live primarily for your spouse’s approval; live before the very eyes of God. Your Father sees in secret. He sees every sacrifice, He sees every tear, and He sees every act of obedience. He is the righteous Judge between a husband and a wife, so never think that your obedience goes unnoticed. The Lord is watching, and He rewards faithfulness.
Perhaps your spouse is not yet walking with the Lord, or perhaps your husband is still an unbeliever. Do not lose heart. The Scriptures tell us that an unbelieving spouse may be won over without a word by the godly life of the believing spouse.
Do not wait for your partner to change before you begin to obey God. Become the first to bow, the first to apologize, the first to forgive, the first to love, and the first to die to self. That is exactly how Christ loved us.
My sisters, if Christ is truly being formed in one person, that life cannot remain hidden forever. Light shines, life spreads, and love softens hard hearts. The Holy Spirit knows exactly how to reach your spouse. Trust Him, pray, wait, obey, and leave the results with God.
And please stop building your marriage according to the opinions of this generation. Go back to the Scriptures and let the Word of God become your absolute blueprint. Many marriages that began beautifully have become painful simply because they abandoned God’s pattern and replaced it with human wisdom. You shouldn’t start in the Spirit and continue in the flesh.
God’s way works. When a home begins to operate according to Heaven’s design, the blessing of God begins to rest upon it. Peace begins to return, love begins to grow, trust begins to deepen, and joy begins to overflow. Fruitfulness begins to appear, and the home becomes a sanctuary where children encounter Christ naturally. Your children are no longer merely growing up; they are being actively raised for the Lord.
LET ZOE BURST OUT OF YOUR HOME
My sisters, can you now see why marriage is so precious to God? It is far more than companionship, far more than having children, and far more than simply having someone to grow old with.
Marriage is one of God’s greatest vessels for releasing His Zoe-life into the earth.
Out of the very womb of your marriage, the Life of God is waiting to burst forth, sis!
No wonder the Scriptures declare: “One shall chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight” (Deuteronomy 32:30).
God never intended marriage to produce simple addition; He intended it to produce exponential multiplication.
There is a supernatural dimension of God’s power that is released only when a husband and a wife truly become one under His divine government. This is precisely why Satan fears such homes. This is why he fights agreement, forgiveness, praying together, submission, and headship. Just because he knows that once Zoe is flowing freely through a home, darkness begins to rapidly lose its territory.
My sisters, would you do your marriage for God’s sake? Would you stop asking only, “What do I want?” and begin asking, “Father, what do You want?”
Would you let God choose your spouse for His sake? Would you build your marriage according to His blueprint for His sake? Would you forgive for His sake, submit for His sake, love sacrificially for His sake, and die to yourself for His sake?
Because when you begin to live entirely for God’s sake, you discover that you have lost nothing at all. Instead, you find everything! You find true peace, joy, purpose, strength, and above all, you find your Father.
He is your Father. He is the Builder of your home, the One who chose your assignment, the One who teaches you how to love, and the One who gives wisdom when you do not know what to do. He is the One who supplies grace when your strength fails, who heals deep wounds, who restores broken things, and who provides every resource your home will ever need. He is the One who fights your battles and establishes His perfect peace in your household.
There is absolutely no safer place to be than in the perfect will of your Father.
My sisters, let us give Him our homes, our marriages, our dreams, our children, and our future. As we do, may Zoe burst forth from our homes like mighty rivers.
May our marriages become living testimonies of Christ, our homes become nurseries of a godly seed, our families become strongholds of righteousness, and our children become mighty sons and daughters of God.
May our households push back darkness, establish the Kingdom of God, and fill the earth with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. For this was His beautiful plan from the very beginning and by His grace, this shall yet be His testimony in our generation in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer
Father, thank You for opening my eyes to behold Your heart concerning marriage. Please recover Your original blueprint in my life. Wherever the spirit of this age has corrupted my thinking, renew my mind by Your Word. Form Christ in me until I become the wife You designed me to be. Make my home a dwelling place for Your Presence, where Zoe flows freely, where oneness is restored, where godly seeds are raised, and where Your Kingdom is established. Let my home become a testimony of Christ, a nursery of sons, and a light to this generation. Father, may my life and my family bring You great joy and make You rich in sons in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Let us take our other song for the day prayerfully:
OH, MARRIAGE! by Dynamite Films Africa

STIRRING THE WATERS
Dear sister, it is that special moment. Take the next 10 minutes to stir the waters by praying in the Holy Ghost. Gladly embrace this sacred pause. Let the instrumental below play as you lift your voice in prayer. Do not rush. Pray until your spirit is refreshed and your heart is stirred.
This is Father to daughter.
This is Spirit to spirit.
Yield yourself completely to Him.
If you have not yet received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, this is your moment. Cry out to your loving Father with all your heart:
“Father, fill me! Baptize me! Immerse me in Your Spirit! I need You for life. Holy Spirit, come. Baptize me with the Holy Ghost, and Father, please grant me another Pentecost, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
Let’s start stirring.
TAKE CHARGE
- Father, in the mighty Name of Jesus, I present myself before You today. I sanctify my spirit, my soul, my body, my home, and this entire atmosphere unto You. Let every part of me and every space around me come under the government of the Holy Spirit.
- By the precious blood of Jesus, I declare that this atmosphere belongs to the Kingdom of God. I establish the Lordship of Jesus Christ over this place. Let every power, every influence, every imagination, every distraction, and every operation of darkness be silenced and brought into absolute submission to the authority of Christ.
- I declare that I am a vessel of the living God. My spirit is open to Heaven alone. My ears are open to hear. My eyes are open to see. My heart is soft and ready to receive. Every veil over my understanding is removed in the Name of Jesus. Every resistance to the working of the Holy Spirit is broken.
- Father, breathe upon me afresh. Let Your Zoe arise within me. Let every dead place receive Your life. Let every weary place receive Your strength. Let every dark place be flooded with Your light. Let everything in me that is not of Christ bow before the power of Your indestructible life.
- I command every strange spirit, every demonic presence, every satanic interference, every spirit of heaviness, confusion, fear, distraction, slumber, deception, oppression, and resistance to the Word of God to leave this atmosphere now, in the mighty Name of Jesus. You have no place here. Jesus Christ is Lord over this home, this room, this meeting, and my life.
- I release the rivers of living water from within my spirit to flow freely throughout this atmosphere. Let the presence of God fill this place. Let the ministry of angels prevail. Let the voice of the Holy Spirit be loud and clear. Let Heaven invade this atmosphere.
- Today, I take my place as a son of God, a temple of the Holy Spirit, and a carrier of the life of God. I refuse every distraction. I refuse every condemnation. I refuse every limitation. My heart is fixed on Christ, and I receive all that the Father has prepared for me today.
- Father, take absolute charge. Glorify Your Son. Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your will be done in me and through me. Let Zoe be unleashed afresh in every part of my life. In the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.
START PRAYING
Cry out from your heart:
- Father, thank You. Thank You for what You are doing in my life. Thank You for these deep revelations You have been unveiling throughout Juicy July. Thank You for taking me back to Your original plan. Thank You because You have not left me in darkness. Thank You because You are restoring what Adam lost. Thank You because You are making me a part of what You are doing in these last days. Receive all the glory, Father, in the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, thank You that I was never an afterthought. Thank You that before You made woman, You already had her in Your heart. Thank You because You created me intentionally for Your glory and Your purpose. Thank You because my life is not an accident. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, this mystery cannot be understood by human intelligence. Please meet me where I am. Open the eyes of my understanding. Give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ. Let these truths become life inside me. May I never lose what You have shown me today. Seal these revelations permanently upon my heart. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, let my heart become good ground. May these seeds not be stolen by distraction, pride, familiarity, unbelief, or the cares of this world. Let them take deep root and bear abundant fruit in my life. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, deliver me from head knowledge. Bring me into experience. I refuse to merely understand these truths; I must become these truths. Let Christ be formed in me until my life becomes a living revelation of Your Word. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, I have seen today that Adam corrupted everything. Search me. Wherever Adam is still living in me, expose him. Wherever self still rules me, break it. Wherever pride, independence, rebellion, fear, selfishness, or flesh still remain, deal with them thoroughly. Let only Christ remain. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, restore Your image in me. Restore everything that the Fall damaged. Restore true sonship. Restore true femininity. Restore true masculinity in every man. Restore Your likeness until You can look at me and see Your Son. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, Heaven will not regret investing in my life. The Blood of Jesus will not be wasted upon me. The Cross will not be wasted upon me. The labour of Christ will not be in vain over my life. I will fulfil everything You wrote concerning me before the foundation of the world. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, I refuse an ordinary marriage. I refuse an ordinary home. I refuse an ordinary family. Let my home become a dwelling place for Your Presence. Let Zoe flow continually through my household. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, every strategy of Satan against my marriage, against my future marriage, against my home, against our oneness, be destroyed completely. We shall fulfil Your purpose. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, teach us true oneness. Remove competition. Remove pride. Remove offence. Remove bitterness. Remove every seed of division. Make us one even as Christ and the Church are one. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, let my marriage distribute life everywhere it goes. Let our home become a nursery of godly seed. Let everyone who encounters our family encounter Christ. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, let our children become mighty in Your Kingdom. Raise sons and daughters from our home who will reveal Christ to their generation. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, recover the Christian home. Recover marriages. Recover families. Recover the Church through the home. Let revival begin again in our families. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, make me fruitful. Let Christ be seen in my home. Let my marriage produce disciples. Let my home replenish the earth with Your life. Let us multiply Your Kingdom wherever we go. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, my marriage shall not become another statistic in this generation. My home shall not be ordinary. Let my marriage become a mighty weapon in Your hands. Let it become a dwelling place for Your Presence, a nursery of godly seed, a fountain of Zoe, and a stronghold of righteousness. Through our union, let Your Kingdom advance and let many lives encounter Christ. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, You ordained marriage to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish the earth, to subdue it, and to have dominion. I receive that original mandate over my home today. Through my marriage, let darkness be subdued. Let every work of Satan be overturned. Let every assignment of hell be frustrated. Let our home walk in the dominion You ordained from the very beginning. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, every inherited battle, every ancestral pattern, every curse, every covenant, every spirit of division, every power assigned to fight my marriage, my future marriage, my spouse, my children, or my home, I destroy you now by the fire of the Holy Spirit. You shall not prosper. Every counsel of hell against my family is scattered forever. My home belongs to the Lord. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, let Zoe burst forth from my marriage. Let rivers of living water flow out of our home. Wherever we go, let life spring forth. Let healing spring forth. Let hope spring forth. Let deliverance spring forth. Let our home become a continual expression of Christ to our generation. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, let my home become a terror to the kingdom of darkness. Wherever our family is mentioned, let hell tremble. Let demons flee. Let strongholds collapse. Let principalities lose territory. Let our prayers shake nations. Let our worship drive back darkness. Let our obedience establish Your Kingdom. May our home become a mighty weapon in Your hand for these last days. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Father, make our home a factory of sons. Let Christ be formed in every member of this household. Raise mighty sons and daughters through us who will reveal Your image, carry Your authority, destroy the works of darkness, and advance Your Kingdom until the earth is filled with the knowledge of Your glory. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
A Special Note to Our Single Sisters
Dear single sisters, before you leave today, please take a few moments to intentionally pray over your future home. Do not wait until marriage before you begin building your home spiritually. Build it now on your knees. Use the prayer guide below to pray intentionally over your future marriage.
Below the guide is a prayer song titled “Choose for Me, Lord.” Pray fervently with it. Consecrate your future completely to the Lord. Tell Him again that you trust Him to write your story and to lead you into the marriage He ordained for you before the foundation of the world.
May the Lord Himself tell a beautiful testimony through your life, your marriage, and your generations, all to the praise of His glory in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.

LISTEN TO AUDIO ON YOUTUBE MUSIC
Continue praying as the Lord leads.
Round off with thanksgiving when you are done.
And then continue below.
FATHER’S CORNER
Let the instrumental below play softly while you spend time with your Father. Imagine Him seated right before you. Now, begin to talk to Him as though you can see Him. Heaven is open. Your Father is waiting.
Ask freely. Ask sincerely. Ask for meat, not chaff. Pour out your heart without reservation. This is not a religious exercise; it is a conversation between a Father and His beloved child.
Spend these next 10 minutes unhurried in His presence. If your heart longs to remain longer, please do. Give Him your attention. Listen as much as you speak. Those things in your journal, open them up and cry them out to your Father.
When you are done, round off your time with heartfelt thanksgiving.
PRAYER OF AGREEMENT
Let us pray together as one and see the glory of God. Do not remain silent or just say ‘Amen’. Follow the prayer carefully, open your mouth, and pray along. Repeat each declaration with faith and from the depths of your heart. Let every prayer become your own sincere cry to God.
Remember, this prayer covers every one of us. As you wholeheartedly stand in agreement for your sisters, they are also standing in agreement for you. “Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them” (Matthew 7:12). Therefore, pray earnestly, believe confidently, and expect the Lord to answer.
Now, let us lift up our voices together in faith.
(TRANSCRIPT)
Shall we agree together in prayers?
I go first, you go with me. Let’s pray.
Our Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, thank You for another day of Juicy July. Thank You because Your mercies are new every morning.
Your Word says that if two of us shall agree on earth concerning anything that we ask, it shall be done by our Father in heaven.
Your Word says that where two or three are gathered together in Your name, You are there in the midst of them.
Therefore, Father, today we stand before You as one family, one altar, and one body in Christ.
We come into agreement according to Your Word, and we receive by faith all that You have purposed to do in this season.
Father, we agree that every participant of Juicy July who has not yet truly encountered Jesus Christ shall be saved.
Let every backslider return home. Let every heart be awakened. Let Christ be revealed, and let many come into the knowledge of the truth.
Father, we agree that every hungry heart shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit. No one desiring the gift of the Holy Spirit will leave Juicy July without experiencing it in Jesus.
Father, we agree concerning every sister and every participant whose spiritual hunger has grown cold. Who have no burden for prayers, Father, awaken them by Your mercy.
Let a fresh hunger for Your presence arise in them. Let a holy burden for prayer fall upon them in Jesus Name.
Fill every participant who has experienced the Holy Ghost baptism afresh, Lord. Stir up every spiritual gift. Awaken every grace. Deepen our intimacy with You.
Empower us to live holy lives, to pray fervently, and to fulfil your will for our lives. Let Your Life be fully unleashed within us in the Name of Jesus.
Father, we agree concerning every participant and every name brought before this altar. Let every sickness bow to the name of Jesus. By His stripes, we decree healing.
We agree for creative miracles, Lord. Let damaged organs be restored, missing parts be created, blind eyes be opened, deaf ears hear, and impossible cases become undeniable testimonies, all for the glory of Jesus Christ.
Father, we agree concerning every waiting family. By Your mercy, release the babies You have promised. Let the sound of rejoicing replace the cry of barrenness.
Heal every husband and every wife. Restore every reproductive system. Open every womb according to Your mercy, and let these children be born for Your glory.
Father, we agree concerning kingdom marriages. Bring together those You have prepared for one another.
Bone to her bone, flesh to his flesh.
Break every demonic influence on their marital life, every delay, every deception, every counterfeit relationship, and every barrier standing against Your purpose. Destroy by fire!
Establish for you, godly homes that will glorify Christ and advance Your Kingdom.
Father, we agree concerning the finances of every participant. Open every door You have ordained.
Open every window of heaven over our lives. Break every chain of lack, stagnation, and financial oppression.
Release divine provision, favour, wisdom, opportunities, and abundant supply, that we may abound unto every good work and have more than enough to advance Your Kingdom.
Father, let Your Kingdom come. Let Your will be done in Africa as it is in heaven. Visit Nigeria and every nation represented in this Juicy July. Let the bloodshed cease. Let kidnappings cease. Let terrorism cease. Let violence and corruption be brought low. Let righteousness be exalted.
Purify Your Church. Remove compromise, falsehood, and worldliness. Raise faithful shepherds, bold witnesses, holy families, and labourers who will make disciples for Your glory.
Holy Spirit, take over the church in Nigeria, Africa and the nations again, by your mercy.
Father, because we carry the life of Christ, we decree that every manifestation of death must give way to life. Let sickness give way to life. Let barrenness give way to life. Let weakness give way to life. Let dryness give way to life. Let fear give way to life. Let discouragement give way to life. Let every area where death has spoken be overwhelmed by the life of God.
Let Zoe be unleashed in us, through us, and around us in Jesus Name.
Juicy July, hear the word of the Lord!
No delays, no roadblocks, and no excuses! Every single day of this month will show the raw Zoe life, light, and power of God!
We decree right now: No problem that came into July with us goes out with us!
Thou pregnant womb of heaven, we open our hands wide and we receive our deliverables! You will not go back with our blessings! You will deliver them all completely, and we are enabled to receive them!
Every power that wants to stop us, we stop you right now by fire! You cannot block our answers, and you cannot delay our testimonies!
It is finished, it is settled, and we have won by the power that is in the blood of Jesus!
In Jesus’ mighty name.
AMEN!
VICTORY DECLARATION
Before you leave today, seal everything the Lord has done in your heart with this declaration of victory. Don’t just listen. Sing it boldly. Let every word become your confession of faith. Christ has finished the work; now walk in the victory He has secured for you.
It is finished…
My Lord cried out loud.It is finished…
The price has been paid.It is finished…
The Kingdom invades earth! It is finished…
Therefore I prevail!
Declare it until your spirit believes it. In Christ, the victory is already yours.
