SWIMMING IN GOD’S PROMISES

JUICY JULY 2022| DAY 7
THEME: BUT FOR THE SHOWERS WE PLEAD
TOPIC: SWIMMING IN GOD’S PROMISES
TEXT: ISAIAH 55:11
BIBLE STUDY: ISAIAH 55

Welcome to the day of perfection, sisters!

It’s the seventh day in the seventh month of this special Juicy July. Amen?

7/7= Double rest! Double fulness! Double completeness! Double perfection! So shall it be for you in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

We receive double double today in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

And all our requests and prayers that we have been tendering before God’s throne since the first day of this month, bring to us fulness of answers, perfection of all our problems, completeness in all ramifications, fulness of joy and overall abundance in Jesus Name.

Today, we will be swimming in God’s promises till they become real in our lives!!!

Let’s assume the President of the United States writes us a letter for instance stating how he’d had a whole lot about us and how now it is time for us to reap the benefits, I know how soon our joy would overflow!!! We would shout the testimonies loud and clear and would soon become the envy of the town.

But God’s promises are of more importance. They should make us go around with confidence and joy, they should make us hopeful, they should have us sharing the testimony in advance, than any promise any man or woman of influence and power makes to us!

That is how it is supposed to be!

We should hold God’s Word and His promises in high esteem than any word of a mere mortal like us!!!

Ameeeeeen???

Amen! Hallelujah!

Let’s sing this song very deeply and with understanding as we dig into what the Lord has for us today:

‘God said it, I believe it, That settles it’ by Heritage Singers

Faith is the essence of things unseen
The substance of things hoped for
God’s word has said it and I believe it
For the miracle has happened to me

God said it and I believe it
And that settles it for me
God said it and I believe it
And that settles it for me
Though some may doubt that His word is true
I’ve chosen to believe it, now how about you?
God said it and I believe it
And that settles it for me

Do you believe that God created you
Just like He told you in His word?
Do you believe that every world in space
Came to place by His own power?
Do you believe that God can change your life
And give you freedom from your sin?
He’ll open every door that blocks the way
You can say within…

God said it and I believe it
And that settles it for me
God said it and I believe it
And that settles it for me
Though some may doubt that His word is true
I’ve chosen to believe it, now how about you?
God said it and I believe it
And that settles it for me

God is the Author and He’s the ending
Of all that I believe in
Life more abundant is yours for the asking
The miracle can happen to you

God said it and I believe it
And that settles it for me
God said it and I believe it
And that settles it for me
Though some may doubt that His word is true
I’ve chosen to believe it, now how about you?
God said it and I believe it
And that settles it for me
God said it and I believe it
And that settles it for me.

Hallelujah!!! Sisters, do you believe???

The Scripture says in Isaiah 55:11

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

It’s that time of the year when people’s hopes keep reducing. The excitement for the new year has faded away. The word received for the year has been forgotten.

It’s that time of the year when you are nursing injuries caused by the challenges from January to June.

Sisters, I’m here to remind you of what God said.

What God said to YOU!!!

What God said to YOUR LOCAL CHURCH!!!

What God said to BUD!!!

What God said!!!

Hallelujah!

This wasn’t what I initially planned to share today but the Lord is saying that many people are getting discouraged and losing it already. Many people are crying. You’re seeing testimonies and are saying “what about my own now”. God is saying to you today; HOLD ON TO MY PROMISES! I HAVE ENOUGH FOR YOU TO SWIM IN!!!

See, there are thousands of God’s promises in the Bible and His Word is true-all He says MUST come to fruition!

We believe that God keeps His promises, that’s why we are called believers but many times, when life happens–when we experience one issue or the other, we can sometimes lose sight of the fact that God’s Word is still in fact true, in spite of our predicaments.

No matter how we sometimes may feel, we must remember the fact that God will always keep His promises–no matter what.

But what is a promise?

You know, many times, we toss the word “promise” around very loosely.

We make promises to loved ones and later let them down by not keeping those promises.

We also have been disappointed by others in our lives who may have promised something to us, only to find some time later that those promises were not honored.

Well, that’s humanity for you! But when it comes to divinity, when it comes to God, He always keeps His promises!

Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; everyone was fulfilled. Joshua 21:45

According to the dictionary, a promise is “a declaration or assurance that one will do something or that a particular thing will happen.”

Just as God spoke the world into existence with the power and might of His Voice, when God declares that He will do something, it will happen!

Amen?

Amen!

Every single Word God spoke to the people of Israel never failed!

God told Abraham: “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Genesis 12:2-3

God chose Abraham to establish the nation of Israel through his family line.

He promised to Abraham in Genesis 17:15-16 that his barren wife Sarai (later Sarah) would have a baby, Isaac and that through this promised child, the nation of Israel would be born!

And you know, it was even through this line that the promised Messiah was born!

In Genesis 17, God also promised Abraham that He would:

Make him the father of many nations (Gen 17:4)

Make him fruitful (Gen 17: 6)

Make nations and kings from him (Gen 17:6)

Establish his covenant as an everlasting covenant between him and Abraham’s descendants (Gen 17:7)

Give Abraham and his descendants possession of the land of Canaan (Gen 17:8)

And our God did everything- we can even still see all these things He promised to Abraham now!!!

Our God keeps His promises!

In Exodus 6:6 God declared to Moses,

“Therefore, say to the Israelites: ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment.”

And God fulfilled that promise!

God freed the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. After years of captivity, God’s chosen people were delivered!!! Glory!!!

Also, when Joshua was summoned as the new leader of the nation of Israel after Moses died, God gave him this promise:

I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates—all the Hittite country—to the Mediterranean Sea in the west.

No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them. Joshua 1:3-6

Many of us are familiar with the passage in Joshua 1:9 where God said,

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

And God fulfilled his promises!!!! Every one of it!

God was with Joshua when they crossed the Jordan River and took possession of the land of Canaan in Joshua chapter 6.

What of for David?

God’s hand of love and protection was with David ever since he was a young boy in the wilderness as a shepherd.

When God appointed David as king of Israel, he promised that his throne would endure forever when he said,

“Your house and your kingdom will endure forever before me; your throne will be established forever.” 2 Samuel 7:16

And God fulfilled His promise.

Jesus, the King of Kings, was born through the family line of David, and through his sacrifice on the cross for the sins of humanity and his mighty resurrection, his Kingdom is established and will last forever!

All through the Scriptures, we can see the amazing hand of God working through his people–and his promises were fulfilled every single time!

Since we as believers through Christ have been adopted into God’s own family, we can undoubtedly claim the promises of God’s Word and because of this powerful truth, we can confidently pray God’s promises into our lives. Amen???

Paul boldly wrote in 2 Corinthians 1:20 that,

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through Him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

Will God keep his promises? YES! His words are true, firm, and steadfast.

Can we depend on God to do what He says? AMEN!

As surely as our God lives, His words will be fulfilled!

We can count on Him to come through on His promises, always and forever.

Glory!

Do you know some promises that the Lord has made to you?

I am not talking about just what you have seen in dreams or what prophets have seen about you. Those are great but the promises in God’s Word are the greatest!

And since God speaks no vain words, we can trust Him to bring all His promises to pass!!!

Do you believe it?

Well, let me show you some of those promises. If I were you, I would write the ones that personally relate to me in my prayer journal and open the verses in front of them. Then, I will also pray them in as I read them! I would hold on to the Lord and say ‘Here comes Your Word Lord, You said…. Let Your Word be fulfilled in my life today in the Mighty Name of Jesus’

Oh, what a rush!!!!

Can you feel the wind???

His Word comes with so much power!

And look at all these ones I’ve listed above! Fiery!!!!

And they are ‘Yea’ and ‘Amen’!!!!

Yea means ‘Surely, truly, verily’ and  Amen means ‘Surely, truly, verily, so be it, may it be fulfilled’

So, He said ‘yea’ and we say ‘amen!’, then we’d see its manifestation!!!!

Amen????

Glory!

I trust you have noted a whole lot of prayer points from the above list.

Let me give you a quick class work before we pray. Think of 10 promises of God that you know of that counter some of the problems you have seen in your life. Now, write them down in your notebook. MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS. SEE IT AS AN IMPORTANT RITUAL GOD IS TELLING YOU TO DO TO BRING YOUR WALLS DOWN!

For instance:

If you have been waiting on the Lord for the fruit of the womb, you can write:

Oh Lord, Your Word says none shall be barren in Your land, why is my marriage not having this promise come to reality then, Lord? Well, today, I know my right in Christ, therefore you barrenness in my marriage, I curse you today, give way for abiding, healthy fruitfulness in the Mighty Name of Jesus!’

Write ten of these promises down and use them to face those problems in your life.

If you are stuck and don’t know many of these promises, this is to reveal to you that you need to marry your Bible the more henceforth. The Bible says: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, you shall meditate on it day and night. Then shall thou make thy ways prosperous, then thou shalt have good success.

If you don’t have the Word in your mouth and you don’t meditate on it, you are playing with hot prosperity and success. May we not miss all that the Lord has promised us in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

So for today, if you don’t know any ten of those promises, you can copy from the promises I listed up there and use them to counter the problems you have seen in your life. Write them down for they shall bear the witness of the fact that God’s Word never fail! Amen???

When you are done, let’s see this song graciously.

Your Promises by Elevation Worship

When the weight of the world begins to fall
On the Name of Jesus I will call
For I know my God is in control
and His purpose is unshakable

Doesn’t matter what I feel
Doesn’t matter what I see
My hope will always be
In Your promises to me
Now I’m casting out all fear
For Your love has set me free
My hope will always be
In Your promises to me

As I walk into the days to come
I will not forget what You have done
For you have supplied my every need
And Your presence is enough for me

Doesn’t matter what I feel
Doesn’t matter what I see
My hope will always be
In Your promises to me
Now I’m casting out all fear
For Your love has set me free
My hope will always be
In Your promises to me

You will always be more than enough for me
You will always be more than enough for me
Nothing’s gonna stop the plans You’ve made
Nothing’s gonna take Your love away
You will always be more than enough for me

Doesn’t matter what I feel
Doesn’t matter what I see
My hope will always be
In Your promises to me
Now I’m casting out all fear
For Your love has set me free
My hope will always be
In Your promises to me

Thank You Lord for your promises. Hallelujah!!!

SHALL WE PRAY, SISTERS?

Father, I thank You for Your unfailing Word!

Lord, I worship You because You can never lie!

Lord I thank You for sending Your Word to me again today!

Your Word says ‘He sent His Word and healed them’, I thank You because the Word You have sent to me today has healed me of my diseases and problems in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Thank You Father for Your faithfulness, because, Your word says “faithful is He, that has promised”. (Hebrews 10:23)

Thank You Father for all those personal promises You have assured me about in time past. I thank You because according to Your Will, You will bring Your promises to pass in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

Father, in any way I have fallen short of Your glory, have mercy and forgive me in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Father, please in your mercy, send down Your fire into my life now to consume whatever is responsible for the delay in the manifestation of Your promises to me in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Father, I ask in the victorious Name of Jesus that every prince of persia, preventing answers to my prayers from reaching me, be paralysed!!!!

Oh my Father, let every anti – breakthrough decrees and curses, in operation in my life, be broken and destroyed, today, by the blood of Jesus.

Oh my Father, let every weapon fashioned against my financial, material, academic, ministerial, and marital, breakthroughs, be rendered, obsolete and of no consequence, in Jesus’ Mighty Name.

Oh my Father, You are the One that openeth a door that no man can shut, please, open unto me, perpetually, this day, the doors of Your prosperity and breakthrough, in Jesus’ name.

My Father, please, my eyes are on You, fulfil all Your promises in my life from this day forward in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Oh Lord, I declare ‘Be it unto me according to Your Word’ in the Mighty Name of Jesus!!! (3ce)

Declare fierily those ten promises I told you to write down earlier.

If you are done, continue. If you are not done, go back to your prayer journal, sis. Don’t skip this.

Now, sing a song to appreciate God for He is good to you. Call Him sweet names.

Now, stir up the joy in your spirit. Sing songs of joy. Laugh heartily.

Yes, confuse the devil and his kingdom. Rejoiccceeeeee!!!

Sisters, I mean, intentionally sing songs that make you dance. I mean, your Father, the King of the whole universe has spoken. Who can stand against the Lord? Dance a dance of victory unto the Lord!!

Don’t be tired now, sisters. Now, jump for joy. Yes! By now your spirit must be catching the memo. When God speaks our response is to rejoice. Jump for joy!!! Are you jumping?

Hallelujah!!!!

NOW DECLARE:

The Word of God that has come out of His mouth concerning my spiritual life shall not return to Him void but it shall accomplish that which He pleases, and it shall prosper in my life where unto it has been sent in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

The Word of God that has come out of His mouth concerning my finances shall not return to Him void but it shall accomplish that which He pleases, and it shall prosper in my life where unto it has been sent in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

The Word of God that has come out of His mouth concerning my career shall not return to Him void but it shall accomplish that which He pleases, and it shall prosper in my life where unto it has been sent in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

The Word of God that has come out of His mouth concerning my marriage shall not return to Him void but it shall accomplish that which He pleases, and it shall prosper in my life where unto it has been sent in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

The Word of God that has come out of His mouth concerning my health shall not return to Him void but it shall accomplish that which He pleases, and it shall prosper in my life where unto it has been sent in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

The Word of God that has come out of His mouth concerning my business shall not return to Him void but it shall accomplish that which He pleases, and it shall prosper in my life where unto it has been sent in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

The Word of God that has come out of His mouth concerning my children shall not return to Him void but it shall accomplish that which He pleases, and it shall prosper in my life where unto it has been sent in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

The Word of God that has come out of His mouth concerning my ministry shall not return to Him void but it shall accomplish that which He pleases, and it shall prosper in my life where unto it has been sent in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

The Word of God that has come out of His mouth concerning my home shall not return to Him void but it shall accomplish that which He pleases, and it shall prosper in my life where unto it has been sent in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

Keep slotting in the areas you desire to see God’s Word work in your life and family from this day forward. Job 22:28 says ‘Thou shalt also decree a thing and it shall be established unto thee…!’

KEEP PRAYING AS LED BY THE SPIRIT.

When you are done, raise your prayer journal and cry to the Lord ‘Oh ye requests of mine, I command you to begin to turn to me now for testimonies in the Victorious Name of Jesus!’
