Good day lovely sisters and welcome to the 10th day of our Juicy July 2023 Prayer Programme.
Glory be to the Lord for how far He has brought us. Amen. Halleluyah!
Today, the Lord will be opening our eyes to see some things we have looked down on. Some things we have lost or have not received because of lack of importunity and the Lord will be restoring some gracious abundance back to us.
Amen???

ALL THE DEVIL HAS TAKEN FROM ME, I SHALL GET IT ALL BACK!

We are exalting the Lord of all the earth, our gracious Redeemer who is able to do more than we can ask or think here today.
Close your eyes and let each name of the Lord sink deep into you. Amen?

Today, the Lord is redeeming our souls, lives, families, generations from the shackles and curse of penury!
Amen???
What is penury?
Penury is a spirit that robs, dispossesses, destroys, consumes, and disinherits someone in a cunning way.
It causes one to be lacking, to be deprived of good things, to be destitute, to be begging, to be borrowing here and there, and to be rolling in insufficiencies.
Psalm 66:12 paints the picture well. It says:
“Thou hast caused men to RIDE OVER OUR HEADS; we went through FIRE and through WATER: but thou broughtest us out INTO A WEALTHY PLACE”.
That last part is what we are contending for today by the power of the most High.
But you see those first lines, that is penury!
Men riding over our heads, cheating us, lording over us, giving us peanuts when we do huge works for them, thinking we can be nobodies and so on.
Riding over our heads!!!!
Penury causes men to ride over our heads!
We went through FIRE!
And through WATER!
Ayaayayyaaa
Penury must die!!!
In the Name of Jesus, penury must die out of my life today!!!
Many of us think that it is God’s Will for us to be poor, so we remain there and just ask for the ‘daily bread’ alone.
I know how wonderful it is to be content but are you sure financially, you are where the Lord wants you to be right now?
We need to stop spiritualizing our poor spiritual conditions, thinking that is God.
Sometimes, there are some battles making it so.
Let me show you from the Scriptures.
Galatians 3:13 says:
“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: THAT THE BLESSING OF ABRAHAM MIGHT COME ON THE GENTILES THROUGH JESUS CHRIST; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith”
Our text says, “Christ hath redeemed us…” (v. 13).
If you ask many of us, even Spirit-filled ones of us, “What did Christ redeem us from?”
We’d usually say, “From sin.”
That’s partly true, but not nearly all of the story.
The rest of verse 13 tells us in no uncertain terms what Christ redeemed us from:
“…. FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW…” (Gal. 3:13).
In the Book of Deuteronomy, Moses stated the blessings and curses of the Law.
In the first part of Deuteronomy 28, God talks to Israel about the blessings that will overtake them if they obey His commands/laws (vv. 1-14).
Then skipping down to verse 15, God says, “But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee.”
The curse or punishment for breaking God’s commandments is threefold: poverty, sickness, and the second death.
We’ll only deal with the curse of poverty today.
Let’s look at some verses that talk about the curse of poverty.
(Deuteronomy 28:16-19, 38-40)
Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field. Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store.
Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out….
Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it.
Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.
Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit.
You can see with your open eyes that these verses are talking about penury, right???
God said poverty and lack was a curse which was to come upon the people of God because they failed to keep His commandments and His statutes.
The curse of penury should come upon all of us automatically then because all of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
But Galatians 3:13 tells us that instead of the curse coming upon us, Jesus was made to be a curse for us.
Jesus didn’t go to the Cross for Himself – He did it for us! The curse fell on Him instead of upon us. He bore the curse for us so we wouldn’t have to.
Jesus became our substitute and paid the debt for our sins through His death on the Cross. And God wrote it down as though we had paid the debt for sin ourselves! Now because of Jesus, we are free from the curse of the Law – and that includes the curse of penury!
Halleluyah!!!
Let us let this understanding sink in and stop tolerating the devil’s nonsense to us.
2 Corinthians 8:9 says: For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, THAT YE THROUGH HIS POVERTY MIGHT BE MADE RICH
Some endeavor to only put a spiritual interpretation on this verse. They say it’s talking about Jesus becoming spiritually poor so we might be made spiritually rich. But there’s more to this verse than that.
Jesus was born into a poor home. Jesus, for example, didn’t even have His own home. He said about Himself, “…The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head” (Matt. 8:20).
But Jesus certainly wasn’t spiritually poor!
How can you say Jesus was poor spiritually?
Someone who walked with God daily while on earth?
Who obeyed God fully while on earth?
Who was blameless and pure as He journeyed through earth?
Someone who worked wonders???
Someone who was spiritually poor could not work miracles, raise the dead, turn water into wine, feed 5,000 people with a little boy’s lunch, or heal the sick!
So this statement:
‘For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, THAT YE THROUGH HIS POVERTY MIGHT BE MADE RICH’
Isn’t only focusing on our spiritual riches but on the physical, material ones!
The Word of God emphatically teaches that poverty is a curse as we have read above
And the Word of God teaches also that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, which includes the curse of poverty and penury.
He redeemed us from poverty so we wouldn’t have to live in poverty and lack in this life.
Let’s look at what Jesus said during His earthly ministry about God meeting our material and financial needs.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matt. 6:33).
Jesus is talking about the material things of life being added unto you, such as food to eat and clothes to wear (Matt. 6:31,32).
The way some people talk, it sounds like Jesus said those things would be taken away from you if you live for God.
No way!
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, SHALL MEN GIVE INTO YOUR BOSOM. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again (Luke 6:38).
Notice Jesus said, “…shall men give into your bosom….”
Of course, God is always the One who motivates people to give to us as we believe and obey His Word.
God isn’t going to rain down money from Heaven to meet our needs! The money will come from people on this earth.
Now let’s go back to Galatians 3 again: “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ…” (vv. 13,14).
Under the New Covenant, Abraham’s blessing belongs to us! Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law so we wouldn’t have to live under the curse – but under the blessing.
The blessing of Abraham is threefold in nature. It’s a spiritual blessing, a physical blessing, and a material blessing. This agrees with what the Spirit of God said through the Apostle John in the New Testament.

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 2).
Let’s go back once more to Deuteronomy. We’ve looked at those scriptures which have to do with the curse of poverty. Now let’s look at the blessings of the Law.
“And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God” (Deut. 28:2).
The truth is, the curse should come on us because we’ve all sinned and come short of the glory of God.
We’ve broken His commandments. But, thank God, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, which we rightfully deserve. We were made righteous in Christ so that the blessing of Abraham could come upon us!
Deuteronomy 28:3-6,8:
Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. (You’ll be blessed wherever you are!)
Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out…
The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee IN THY STOREHOUSES, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
Some say you shouldn’t desire material possessions in this life. But God says He will bless what you have stored up! He promises an abundant supply!
And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail, and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath….
(Deut. 28:11-13)
Verse 12 says, “…thou shalt not borrow.”
Does that mean it’s wrong to borrow money? No.
If it’s wrong then God told the Israelites to do wrong when He told them to lend, and we know He wouldn’t do that.
Actually, God was saying, “I’m going to bless you so much you won’t have to borrow.”
You may not be at a place financially yet where you don’t have to borrow. But begin to stand in faith for such an abundance that you don’t have to borrow. It’s part of the blessing of Abraham that is yours in Christ!
The blessing of Abraham that has come upon us gives us a full supply – spiritually, physically, materially and financially.
“But my God shall supply ALL your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:19)
The phrase “all your need” would include financial and material needs, as well as spiritual needs. In fact, if you’ll read the entire context, you’ll find that Philippians 4:10-19 are specifically talking about financial and material needs.
There is an important balance to this subject of blessing that people need to understand, however.
God has promised to supply His children’s every need. But that doesn’t mean a person can just sit down and do nothing and expect God to bring the money in supernaturally.
That’s not in line with the whole counsel of the Word.
WHAT PROVOKES GOD’S BLESSINGS?
One is SEEKING FIRST HIS KINGDOM AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS!
If you are committed to having riches that last. Riches that come with peace, you make sure you face the Kingdom of God squarely. That’s the main thing the Lord requires of you. Pursue God’s Kingdom and things of His Kingdom. Seek His righteousness. Seek for it as if it is lost. The way you look for what to eat hungrily and thirstily, pursue the Kingdom of God and His righteousness like that. And wait to see if ALL OTHER THINGS won’t be added!
Two is GIVING TO OTHERS AND GOD.
The Bible says ‘Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together….’
But first of all, GIVE!!!
Give to the needy in the church. Give to the widows. Give to the orphans. Give to the fatherless.
Don’t wait till you have to give!
Do you remember the Widow of Zarephath in 1 Kings 17:7-16? The only thing she had at home, she gave to the prophet!
Isaiah 58:6 also describes the kind of fast that is acceptable to God. You see:
Isaiah 58 : 6
“No, the kind of fasting I want calls you to free those who are wrongly imprisoned and to stop oppressing those who work for you. Treat them fairly and give them what they earn.
Isaiah 58 : 7
I want you to share your food with the hungry and to welcome poor wanderers into your homes. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help.
Oh wow!
So what would happen when I do all these during my fast???
‘….Do this and the lights will turn on, and your lives will turn around at once. Your righteousness will pave your way. The God of glory will secure your passage.’
Kaaaaayyaaaaa!
But you aren’t only to give to the needy and poor in the church. You are to give to the Lord!
We are in an era of revolting! An era where people don’t want to give to God and his servants but you are cheating yourself!!!!
This is not between you and the servant of God but between you and God. Give it and look away. Give it and stop monitoring how it is used. It is none of your business.
Malachi 3: 8-11 says:
Do honest people rob God? But you rob me day after day.
“You ask, ‘How have we robbed you?’
“The tithe and the offering—that’s how! And now you’re under a curse—the whole lot of you—because you’re robbing me.
Bring your full tithe to the Temple treasury so there will be ample provisions in my Temple. Test me in this and see if I don’t open up heaven itself to you and pour out blessings beyond your wildest dreams.
For my part, I will defend you against marauders, protect your wheat fields and vegetable gardens against plunderers
Can you see???
The Lord said we should do this and test Him in this! Ayayayayaya
How can we unfaithful humans do our parts and God will then fail on His own part? Lailai!
Three is OBEDIENCE
Deuteronomy 28:1 says ‘If you listen obediently to the Voice of God, your God, and heartily obey all his commandments that I command you today, God, your God, will place you on high, high above all the nations of the world.’
If you obey! Obey the Lord. Do His Will. Let that be your focus! And he will do His part of blessing you. That was what Abraham did. He faced his business of obeying and following God. And God blessed him to the extent he is the main reference point of great riches today.
Four is ASK FOR IT.
Ask and it shall be given. Seek and you shall find. Knock and it shall be open to you. This is what the Word of the Lord says to us.
If you need wealth, ask for it!
If you are swimming in poverty and seek to be free, ask!
And this is what we are doing to do today. We shall ask and we shall receive. Amen??
Five is DO SOMETHING!
This has become the first in many people’s life. They pursue money while awake and while sleeping. This is what the prosperity preachers focus on the most but no, it is the one at the bottom of the ladder. Don’t let this replace your pursuance of a righteous living, of God’s kingdom, of giving, of obeying God!
Nowhere does it say in the Scriptures that you should do something first and then come to God to bless it and all.
It is God first. It is even in God you can know what to do to make the money. No by your head.
Proverbs 10:22 says: The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, And he addeth no sorrow with it.
The one you are pursuing and planning and are stingingly storing up so your generation doesn’t suffer, that one can be stained with sorrow.
Remember the story of the rich fool?
Read carefully below:
Luke 12:13-21
13 Then someone called from the crowd, “Teacher, please tell my brother to divide our father’s estate with me.”
14 Jesus replied, “Friend, who made me a judge over you to decide such things as that?”
15 Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.”
16 Then he told them a story: “A rich man had a fertile farm that produced fine crops.
17 He said to himself, ‘What should I do? I don’t have room for all my crops.’
18 Then he said, ‘I know! I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then I’ll have room enough to store all my wheat and other goods.
19 And I’ll sit back and say to myself, “My friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Eat, drink, and be merry!”’
20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! You will die this very night. Then who will get everything you worked for?’
21 “Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.”
Did you see the punchline in verse 21?
And that’s where people miss it.
The rich fool made some huge blunders.
It was all about him!
No consideration for God!
No thought for others!
Just him!
And this is what the prosperity preachers teach.
Jesus is saying you are rich in foolishness if this is your thought.
Pursue being rich in the Lord and let Him put you on the right path to true riches!
That’s why you will see Christians that are:
– Rich but no peace at home: Their marriages are in shambles. The children are wayward. Money is there in abundance but unfortunately, it cannot do everything!!!
– Rich but dying: Their money is spent on sicknesses and diseases. As one sick is leaving, another is flying in. No opportunity to even enjoy the wealth.
– Rich but leaving the Lord: Some are so rich they have no need for God anymore. They don’t see God in all they have. They got it all by themselves! They even start dictating the tone of how the message should go in the church. If you don’t yield to their pressures, they’d threaten to go to another church with their huge tithe!
– Rich but at enmity with others: These people have money indeed but it keeps pulling hatred towards them. Families, spouses, and even their children want them gone so they can have what they have.
That is what happens when we try to seek wealth at the detriment of our relationship with, service to, and obedience to God!
However, we still have to do something! God promised to bless everything we set our hands to:
“I will bless the work of your hands” (Deut. 28:12).
God never promised to bless Israel if they didn’t set their hands on something!
God also said, “Blessed shall be…the fruit of thy ground…” (Deut. 28:4). God couldn’t bless the crops if the Israelites hadn’t planted them!
And God promised that His blessing would be upon their storehouses (Deut. 28:8). But God wasn’t going to fill the Israelites’ storehouses while they did nothing!
Ask the Lord to lead you, your husband, your siblings, your parents, your loved ones into what you should lay your hand on, do it and believe God to prosper the work of your hands!
So don’t settle for living under the curse of poverty. You’ve been redeemed from that curse of the Law by the blood of Jesus Christ!
Stand on God’s Word and claim the blessing of Abraham that is yours in Christ. Believe God for a full supply in every area of your life!
1 Samuel 2:8 says ‘He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, to set them among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory…..’

Psalm 66:12c says:
but Thou broughtest us out INTO A WEALTHY PLACE”.
We enter into a wealthy place today in the Mighty Name of Jesus!!!
You’re not a beggar; you’re not a nobody; you’re not a speck in the dust! God is your helper and He’s all the help that you need. When you live your life with this consciousness, you’ll discover that crises and challenges of life are all bread for you.
Success and prosperity are your birthright! You’re born for the top and distinguished for greatness. You’re royalty possessing power with God, called to ride on the high places of life, and occupy the places of honor in kingly palaces.
Amen???
Don’t forget however that:
When God blesses you, it’s not just for you. It’s so He can be a blessing through you.
If He realizes you don’t think of Him in the plans you are making, He probably wouldn’t even see the need to bless you.
Henceforth, let all you have revolve around God. Let nothing be too precious to you to give to the Lord.

NOW, LET US BEGIN TO PRAY.
Spend a significant moment to worship the Lord. When you are done, begin to pray:
I stand on the word of God to claim my right as a child of the Kingdom.
I cover myself in the blood of Jesus Christ.
I cover my household and everything concerning me in the blood of Jesus Christ.
I hereby charge this atmosphere by the blood of Jesus Christ and by the fire of the Holy Ghost.
I command fresh fire of God to rest upon me now as in the day of Pentecost, let fresh anointing and new oil be released upon me now as I pray.
I receive power and authority over the power and the kingdom of darkness, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant; whatever I decree in this prayer shall be established; whatever I bind today shall be bound in heaven and whatever I loose today shall be loosed in heaven as it is written in the word of God.
Let fresh fire of God be released on my prayer altar and my prayer life now, prince of Persia cannot hinder my prayer, territorial spirit of my neighborhood cannot hinder my prayer, household wickedness cannot hinder my prayer.
I can see my prayer attracting divine intervention. This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the day that the Lord has chosen to set me free from any form of bondage and break any form of curses upon my life;
This is the day that I will receive a total and complete deliverance in every area of my life.
Today shall mark the beginning of a new thing in my life.
I am a child of God, born of the Spirit, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. It is written concerning me that power and authority is given unto me over all devils and to cure diseases, I hereby take authority over any form of curses upon my life, be it ancestral, be it generational, be it demon-inflicted or self-inflicted; I command all curses upon my life to break now by the authority in the name of Jesus Christ.
The Bible says, where the word of a king is, there is power; today I speak as a king with the authority and power of the King of kings, and I command every other power to bow in the name of Jesus Christ.
I render any power behind any curse upon my life useless and ineffective.
I overcome any form of distraction, spiritual laziness, and slumber that wants to stop me from receiving God’s best today in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Before the end of this prayer session, my testimonies shall manifest without delay by the power in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

I know that I have made mistakes in the past regarding my finances, and I ask for your forgiveness and your guidance in making things right.
Please help me to eliminate my debt, dear God, so that I may be free to live my life without the constant worry and stress that comes with financial struggles.
