Day 10 Prayer Focus:
Father, if discouragement has entered the heart of my future husband about love or marriage, heal and renew him. Give him boldness to step into covenant.
Before You Pray
There’s nothing as beautiful as getting married to a man with a renewed heart, sis. For some men, life has been kind, but for many, it hasn’t.
Some men have once trusted deeply but were betrayed. Some even lost someone they loved, maybe a relationship, a fiancée, or a dream they thought would last. Some have grown up watching broken homes and have quietly concluded that marriage never works. Others have absorbed wrong teachings, heard mockery from peers, or seen religious leaders fail and something inside them gave up on the idea of covenant.
So now, they carry quiet wounds. They may still desire marriage, but they no longer believe in it. And my sister, a wounded man cannot love rightly; a fearful man cannot lead safely.
That’s why you must pray, for his healing, for his renewal, and for his courage. That your future husband will not come to you bleeding, doubting, or escaping. But that he will come whole, healed, renewed, and confident in God’s design for love and marriage.

Scriptures to stand on
- Psalm 34:18 – The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
- Romans 12:2 – Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.
- 1 John 4:18 – Perfect love casts out fear, because fear has torment.

Let Us Pray:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I stand in the power of the cross and the fire of the Holy Ghost, and I lift David, my future husband before You. Let Your light enter every dark place in his soul. Let Your fire pass through every hidden wound, every heartbreak, every grief, every betrayal, every disappointment that still breathes inside him in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Oh Lord, heal him! Where he was broken, mend him. Where he was deserted, comfort him. Where he was made to feel small, restore his confidence in Your love. Let the fire of the Holy Ghost burn out every bitterness, every anger, every secret fear, every memory that still speaks pain in his heart in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
If women have broken his heart, if parents have scared him, if society has mocked him, if leaders have misled him, please touch him now.
Every lie that says love is pain, every wound that says marriage is trouble, every memory that whispers “don’t try,” heal it completely in the mighty Name of Jesus.
Lord, You are the Potter. Take the broken pieces of his mind and heart and remake them. Give him fresh understanding about the marital covenant in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Oh, let David not see marriage not as just an escape or a duty or a burden but as you made marriage to be, Lord. As an assignment, a blessing, a glory.
I command the spirit of discouragement to leave him now! I command the spirit of fear to lose its grip now! I command every dark altar feeding his pain to be silenced forever by the blood of Jesus! Let there be light in his heart, peace in his soul, and joy in his spirit.
Father, raise him as a man healed and whole. Let him come into marriage as a builder, not a broken man. Let the resurrection power of Christ breathe new life into his emotions, his vision, and his hope. From today, his heart beats again with faith, love, and courage in the Name of Jesus.
Lord, pull him out from every negative influence, friends, books, videos, or doctrines that corrupted his view of women or of love.
Rebuild his values from Your Word, oh dear Lord in Jesus Name.
Father, also heal my heart. Every fear, every secondhand trauma, every wrong example that has shaped my view of marriage, correct it, Lord.
Make me a woman of faith, not fear. Make me a builder, not a complainer. Prepare my heart to love him without suspicion and to walk with him in hope.
Lord, put both our hearts under construction. When we meet, let it not be two wounded souls, but two healed vessels ready for Your glory.
When he sees me, let him see peace. When I see him, let me see glory. And together, let us write a new story for our generation and beyond. A story of redemption, truth, and godly love. For it is in Jesus’ Name I have prayed. Amen

Now, Declare
I stand as a daughter of the covenant, and I declare by the blood of Jesus that healing has entered our marital story. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead breathes upon David, my future husband, and upon me. From this moment, every chamber of his heart receives light; every shadow in his members turns to peace. He will not love from wounds but from wholeness. He will not lead from fear but from revelation. I declare that no power of the past, no voice of regret, no buried memory will rise again to corrupt our love. Our emotions are purified, our minds renewed, our spirits aligned. Love will be a river of life between us. It will be strong, selfless, and undefiled. Every altar that once fed pain in us is now consumed by the fire of the Holy Ghost. From this day, our story will speak healing, our marriage will carry presence, and our union will echo redemption. In the name of Jesus, it is done. Amen.
