OPENING PRAYER
Father, thank You for bringing me into another day of this glorious journey. Open the eyes of my understanding today. Remove every veil from my heart, and let me see Your truth as You desire me to see it. Let Your Word become life to me, not just knowledge. Teach me by Your Holy Spirit, and let the life of Christ become more real to me than ever before. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
EXHORTATION: CARRIED BY THE RIVER OF LIFE (ZOE)
“There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God…” Psalm 46:4
Perhaps, after these past twenty-four days, a question has quietly settled in your heart:
“Father… when will all of this become my experience?”
You have read about the Zoe life, seen it in the Scriptures, prayed the prayers, and worshipped with the songs. You have heard the testimonies of men and women whose lives seem to overflow with the very Life of God, and deep within you, a longing has begun to grow.
“Lord, when will I know You like this? When will these encounters become my encounters? When will the Life I have been reading about become the Life I daily live?”
Perhaps you have even wondered if there is something you are missing. Why do some believers seem to burn continually while your own fire rises and falls? Why do some walk with such confidence in God while you still struggle through seasons of dryness? Why do the pages of Scripture describe a life so glorious, yet your own experience often seems far below it? If these thoughts have crossed your mind, you are not alone; in fact, you are standing at one of the most beautiful places in your walk with God.
Because the day a believer becomes satisfied with where she is, she stops pursuing the God who is infinitely more.
There is more, sis, there is always more. No matter how long you have known the Lord, there is more of Him to know. No matter how deeply you have encountered Him, there are still greater depths to explore. No matter how greatly He has used you, His Life is inexhaustible. God is not a pool that can be exhausted; He is an endless ocean.
The closer you come, the more you realize there is still more to discover.
Every encounter awakens a greater hunger, every revelation opens the door to another revelation, and every depth whispers of an even deeper place waiting ahead.
That longing you feel is not frustration but an invitation. The Holy Spirit is gently drawing you beyond where you are, because the Christian life was never designed to become familiar or predictable. It is a continual journey into the limitless riches of Christ.
So today, instead of ignoring that hunger, embrace it and let it draw you forward. Because there is more, and the Father delights in leading His children into it.
The Invitation to the River
So, where is this “more”? Where is this Life we have been talking about for the past twenty-four days? Where is this Zoe that changes a man from the inside out, and where is this place where Christ truly becomes our Life?
The answer is found in one of the most beautiful pictures in the entire Bible: a river.
From Genesis to Revelation, God keeps bringing us back to this same picture. A river flowed out of Eden to water the garden (Genesis 2:10). David rejoiced, “There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God” (Psalm 46:4). Ezekiel saw a river flowing out from the house of God, bringing life wherever it flowed (Ezekiel 47:1-12). Jesus stood and cried, “If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink” (John 7:37-39). And John, on the Isle of Patmos, saw “a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb” (Revelation 22:1-2).
This is not a coincidence, sis. You should know this by now. The Holy Spirit is painting one unified picture. Where God’s Life is released, there is always a River. Where the River flows, life appears, dryness disappears, weary hearts are refreshed, barren places become fruitful, and everything begins to live.
Can you see what the Holy Spirit has been showing us all along? The Zoe life is not stagnant, nor is it merely stored up; it flows. But before it can flow through a man, it must first flow into him.
Leaving the Shore
When the Lord led Ezekiel to the River, He did not tell him to stand there and admire it; He brought him in. That may seem like a small detail, but it changes everything. Many believers spend their entire lives standing on the shore. They love the River, sing about the River, preach about the River, long for the River, and even invite others to the River, but they never truly enter.
The shore is a comfortable place where everything is familiar, and where we still feel secure because our feet are firmly planted on the ground. It is where we can decide how close we want to be and how far we are willing to go.
If the water becomes uncomfortable, we simply step back onto dry land. There is no risk, no surrender, no dependence, and we remain in control.
Cry: Father, deliver me from my comfort zone, Lord. The comfort zone that is void of Your Presence and Your Glory and Your purpose for my life. Father, deliver me today. I am ready for the river, Dadddddyyyy! I am so sorryyy for the delay in surrender.
The River was never given to be admired from a distance; it was given to be entered. There comes a point in every believer’s walk where Jesus lovingly says, “Come further.” Further than comfortable Christianity, further than occasional encounters, further than living on yesterday’s testimony, and further than knowing about Me, my daughter, come into Me!
So Ezekiel obeyed and stepped into the River, and the water reached his ankles.
What a beautiful beginning!
The River had touched him, but it had not yet taken him. He could still walk wherever he wanted, and he could still turn around if he chose to. He was in the River, yet the River had not become his environment.
How many of us live there? We have genuinely encountered God. We love Him, we pray, we read our Bibles, and we enjoy His presence. Yet, if we are honest, much of our lives is still directed by our own strength, our own understanding, our own plans, and our own timing. The River has touched us… but it has not yet carried us.
God did not rebuke Ezekiel for being ankle-deep, nor did He leave him there. The One holding the measuring line simply measured again.
God’s desire is never that we remain where we first encountered Him. There is always another thousand cubits; there is always a deeper place.
Deeper Still
The Man measured another thousand cubits, and again, He led Ezekiel into the River. The waters rose, and this time, they reached his knees.
Can you see what the Holy Spirit is showing us? God is not in a hurry; He is not trying to throw you into the deep overnight. He is patiently leading you, one measure at a time, until every part of your life comes under the influence of His Life.
As the waters reached Ezekiel’s knees, something had already changed. He was no longer merely touching the River but the River was beginning to influence him.
The knees speak of surrender, of dependence, and of a life that has learnt to bow before God. Prayer is no longer just something you do; it becomes the atmosphere in which you live. You begin to discover that your greatest strength is no longer in your ability, but in your dependence upon Him.
But the Man measured again, because the River was still calling. Ayaaaaa
The River is still calling, sis!
The waters now reached Ezekiel’s waist.
The waist is the seat of strength. It is where we brace ourselves, and where we gather our energy to move, to labour, to carry, and to strive.
Now, even that strength is under the River!!!!!
River carry me. Suck me up, carry me, river!
Ayaaaaa!
What a beautiful picture of the Christian life! God is gently bringing us to the place where we stop living by our own strength and begin to draw everything from His.
This is the journey of Zoe. Little by little, the River takes more of us. Our thoughts, desires, and ambitions begin to change, and our confidence shifts from ourselves to Christ. Without even realizing it, we begin to pray differently, love differently, forgive differently, and serve differently, because the Life within us is becoming stronger than the life we once lived. Every new measure of the River whispers the same truth: less of me, more of Christ.
Yet even this is not the destination. The knees are not the destination, and the waist is not the destination. God is after something far greater.
Waters to Swim In
Then the Man measured another thousand cubits.
By now, Ezekiel probably thought he knew what was coming; the waters would simply rise a little higher. Perhaps to his chest, perhaps to his shoulders.
But this time, hey, everything changed. “Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in…” (Ezekiel 47:5).
Read that again: “…a river that I could not pass over.”
Something had happened. Standing was no longer possible, walking was no longer possible, and the River had become too deep.
This is the destination God had in mind all along for us, sis. Not ankle-deep, not knee-deep, not waist-deep, but swimming.
Do you know what is remarkable about swimming? When you swim, your feet no longer touch the ground. You have nothing beneath you to support yourself, you cannot rely on your own balance, and you cannot stand on your own strength.
You are completely dependent upon the water; if the water does not carry you, you sink. Can you see it? This is the Zoe life!
For many of us, our Christian life is still lived with our feet firmly planted on the ground.
We say we love God, but we still depend upon our wisdom. We say we trust Him, but we still have a backup plan. We say we pray, but deep within, we still believe we are the ones holding everything together.
God’s desire is deeper than that. He wants to bring us to the place where His Life becomes our only confidence. Where His strength becomes our strength, His wisdom becomes our wisdom, His thoughts become our thoughts, His desires become our desires, His will becomes our delight, and His Life becomes our life.
Do you now see why the River kept getting deeper? The River was never changing, Ezekiel was. It was not the River that was growing, it was Ezekiel. The River was taking more of him.
At the ankles, he could still walk. At the knees, he could still stand. At the waist, he could still move himself. But here, everything changed.
The River now determined his movement, decided the direction, supplied the strength, and became his support.
This is why I believe the goal of the Christian life is not simply to stand in the River. It is to reach the place where standing is no longer possible. Where the Life of Christ has become so real, so governing, and so overwhelming that you stop striving to live for Him and begin living by Him.
This is what Paul meant when he declared, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” The old life struggles to stay on its feet; the Zoe life learns to float upon Another.
Oh, what freedom there is when you stop trying to carry yourself! What peace comes when you discover that the River was never asking you to sustain yourself but was inviting you to surrender to the current of His Life.
This is where fear loses its grip, where striving comes to an end, and where rest becomes real.
This is where the Holy Spirit ceases to be a Visitor and becomes the very atmosphere in which you live, until your daily prayer is no longer, “Lord, help me manage my life,” but simply,
“River… Carry me!”
Pause for a moment and think about what that prayer really means. What kind of life is this? It is a life where you no longer carry yourself because Another is carrying you. It is a life where tomorrow no longer terrifies you because your tomorrow is already in the hands of the One carrying you, and where anxiety begins to lose its voice because the River already knows where it is taking you.
Can you imagine travelling to a country where everything has already been arranged for you? Your visa has been approved, your ticket has been paid for, someone is waiting to receive you at the airport, your accommodation has been prepared, and every need has been provided for. All you have to do is follow the instructions given to you. How much anxiety would be left? How much striving? How much fear? You simply trust the One who has gone ahead of you.
That is only a faint picture of the Zoe life. Our Father has gone infinitely further. Before you were born, He prepared good works for you to walk in (Ephesians 2:10). He knows the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10), He has already gone before you (Deuteronomy 31:8), and His Spirit dwells within you to lead you step by step. Your responsibility is no longer to carry the weight of your life, your responsibility is to remain in the River.
This was Jesus’ secret. How could He sleep in a boat while the storm was raging? Because He knew He was not being carried by the boat; He was being carried by the Father. The wind was not in charge, the waves were not in charge, His Father’s will was.
Can you imagine living like that? The economy may shake, nations may rage, people may fail, and circumstances may change overnight, yet your heart remains at rest. Not because your world is free from storms, but because the River is carrying you through them.
This is what David meant when he declared, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me…” (Psalm 23:4). This is what Isaiah meant when he wrote, “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee…” (Isaiah 43:2). This is what Paul meant when he said, “The life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God…” (Galatians 2:20).
This is the freedom of the River: no longer carrying yourself, no longer trying to hold your own life together, and no longer exhausting yourself trying to control tomorrow. Simply remaining in Christ, and allowing His Life to carry yours.
Can you picture yourself there? Safe in the Father’s hands. Hidden in Christ. Carried by His Spirit. There is no safer place in all the universe.
What the River Does to a Man
No one enters the River and remains the same. That is the nature of the River: it changes everything it touches.
Long before the River begins to flow through a man out, it begins to work within him.
It refreshes what has become weary, heals what has been wounded, softens what has become hard, strengthens what has become weak, revives what has been dying, and satisfies the deepest thirsts of the soul.
This is why God keeps using the picture of a river throughout the Scriptures. A river is always a giver of life.
The first river flowed out of Eden to water the garden. Before there was fruit, beauty, or abundance, there was a river. The garden flourished because it was continually supplied by that stream.
What a picture of our lives! Many believers are trying to produce fruit without remaining by the River; we want patience, joy, peace, holiness, wisdom, strength, and victory, yet we neglect the very source from which they flow. God has never asked you to manufacture life. He simply asks you to remain where Life flows.
That is why the Psalmist says, “He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water…” Notice that the tree is not running from place to place searching for life. It is planted; its roots have found the source.
Season after season, drought after drought, heat after heat, it remains green because it is continually drawing from a supply that never runs dry. This is the secret of the Zoe life.
Your circumstances, your seasons, and the people around you may change, but the River never changes. Those who remain in the River remain fresh.
Then Jesus brings the picture even closer. Speaking to the Samaritan woman, He says that the water He gives becomes a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Notice where the River begins: inside you.
Before it becomes a river flowing outward, it first becomes a well bubbling upward. Before it refreshes or strengthens others, it refreshes and strengthens you. Before it brings life to dry places around you, it first fills every dry place within you.
How often we rush to become channels while neglecting to become full! But God never intended empty vessels to pour!!!
He first fills, then He satisfies, and then He overflows. He never reverses that order.
If the River is truly flowing in you, you will not have to force spiritual fruit, pretend to have peace, manufacture joy, or strive to appear spiritual. Life will simply begin to appear. Just as a healthy tree does not struggle to bear fruit, a soul planted by the River naturally begins to reflect the Life of the River.
This is why the Father keeps inviting us deeper. It is not because He wants something from us, but because He desires something for us.
He wants His own Life to become our life: His peace to become our peace, His joy to become our joy, His strength to become our strength, and His rest to become our rest.
What the River Does to a Man
No one enters the River and remains the same. That is the nature of the River: it changes everything it touches.
Long before the River begins to flow out through a man, it first begins to work deeply within him.
It refreshes what has become weary, heals what has been wounded, softens what has become hard, strengthens what has become weak, revives what has been dying, and satisfies the deepest thirsts of the soul.
This is why God keeps using the picture of a river throughout the Scriptures. A river is always a carrier of life.
Wherever water continually flows, dryness begins to lose its claim: the atmosphere changes, the air becomes cooler, the land becomes softer, green things begin to appear, trees take root, fruit emerges, birds gather, fish multiply, and life returns. That is what happens when the Life of God is allowed to move freely within a person.
The first river flowed out of Eden to water the garden. The garden thrived because it remained under a continual supply.
What a picture of our lives!
Many believers are trying to produce fruit without remaining by the River. We want patience, joy, peace, holiness, wisdom, strength, discernment, victory, a healthy marriage, godly children, fruitful ministry, emotional stability, and spiritual maturity, yet we neglect the very Source from which these things grow.
Sis, God has never asked us to manufacture life. He simply asks us to remain where Life flows.
That is why the Psalmist says,
“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither…” (Psalm 1:3).
Did you see the tree?
It is not wandering from place to place looking for moisture. It is planted; its roots have found the source.
Season after season, heat after heat, drought after drought, it remains supplied because its life is connected to something deeper than the weather.
Jeremiah saw the same picture:
“For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit” (Jeremiah 17:8).
What a life, sis!
The heat comes, but the leaf remains green; the drought comes, but the tree is not anxious; the season becomes difficult, but fruit does not cease. Why? Because the tree is drawing from a hidden supply!!!
This is the Zoe life.
Your circumstances may change, the economy may shake, people may disappoint you, and seasons may become difficult, yet there is something within you that remains fresh because your life is drawing from the River.
This freshness is more than emotional excitement; it is the quiet strength of a soul continually supplied by God.
It is peace that does not depend on good news, joy that does not collapse when plans change, and stability that remains even when everything around you becomes uncertain.
Isaiah describes such a life as “a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not” (Isaiah 58:11).
A watered garden is different from land waiting anxiously for rain. Its beauty is sustained, its fruitfulness is supplied, and its life is continuous. This is what the Holy Spirit desires to make of us: believers whose inner and outer lives are continually watered by God.
A person living in the River does not have to pretend to be peaceful. Peace is rising from within. They do not have to manufacture joy, joy is being supplied. They do not have to force spiritual fruit, fruit begins to appear because the roots are drinking.
The River enters the thoughts and begins to quiet the noise. It enters the emotions and begins to heal what has been unsettled. It enters memories and brings light into places that once carried pain. It enters desires and purifies what the heart longs for. It enters the body and gives strength for the assignment of each day.
Ehhhhhh, sis!!!
The River touches every part of life. It enters a marriage and softens harsh words, breaks pride, teaches patience, restores tenderness, and gives wisdom to forgive. A marriage in the River becomes more than two people trying to survive one another. It becomes a place continually watered by the Life of God.
It enters parenting and gives grace beyond natural strength, teaching a parent when to speak, when to wait, when to correct, when to embrace, and when to pray. It carries them beyond fear for their children and roots their confidence in the God who loves them even more.
The River enters the home and changes its atmosphere. Prayer becomes natural, worship becomes sincere, and peace begins to settle where tension once ruled. The presence of God becomes more than something experienced in church, it becomes the climate of the house.
It enters spiritual growth and awakens sleeping places within us: hunger returns, prayer deepens, the Scriptures open, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit increases, grace begins to stir, and gifts that have remained dormant begin to awaken.
Cry: Faaaaaattthhhhheeeerrrrr!!!!
The River enters ministry and removes the desperation to impress people. Service stops flowing from pressure and begins to flow from fellowship. What you give to others is no longer borrowed language or empty activity; it comes from a life that has first been watered by God. Kai!
The River carries its own ecosystem: it brings its own atmosphere, supply, fruit, beauty, movement, sounds, and freshness.
There is a calmness around a river that no dry land can reproduce. There is a coolness in the air, movement without panic, and sound without confusion.
The river is always going somewhere, yet it never appears anxious.
What a picture of life in the Spirit! You can be moving and still be at rest; you can be fruitful without striving; you can be busy without becoming dry; you can carry responsibility without allowing responsibility to carry you; you can walk through intense seasons and still retain the quietness of God within.
The River of His Pleasures
David understood that the River carries more than strength; it carries pleasure.
“They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Thy house; and Thou shalt make them drink of the river of Thy pleasures” (Psalm 36:8).
Did you see that? The river of His pleasures! There are pleasures in God, and there is no boredom in Him.
Sisssssss, if your walk with God has become dry, mechanical, and predictable, then you are probably still at the shore or just stuck at your comfort zones where you still want to be safe and not allow God carry you away….
Ah!!!
Get carried away sis! That is the real safety!
It is fun!
Oh, I mean it! Hahaha, what other joy???
Pleasures!!! Pleasures that displace all other pleasures!
There are mornings you wake up with songs already bubbling out of your spirit before your feet even touch the floor. There are days you open your Bible intending to read one chapter, and suddenly one verse grips your heart. You cannot move on. You read it again, and again, and again. It leads into another chapter there and another there. It becomes sweeter with every reading, as though honey is dripping into your spirit. Ayaaaaaa
Just as Jeremiah declared,
“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and Thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart…” (Jeremiah 15:16).
And like the Psalmist,
“How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (Psalm 119:103).
Sometimes the Word becomes so alive that your heart begins to burn within you. You underline one sentence, you begin talking back to God, tears come, and worship interrupts your study. Before you know it, you look at the clock and realize you were not trying to spend hours with God, you simply entered the River and lost all sense of time.
There are moments when the Holy Spirit gently nudges you to obey Him in something that seems so small:“Call her,” “Forgive him,” “Wait,” “Don’t say that,” “Give it away.” You obey immediately, and suddenly your whole spirit becomes flooded with joy. Not because anyone applauded you, but because you pleased the One you love and He releases a flood within. Ayaaaaa
There are days when you are washing the dishes, driving to work, cooking for your family, or walking quietly down the road, and His presence becomes so tangible that you stop for a moment and whisper, “Father… I love You. I love You! Why do You love me so? Ah, Father, what do I do to love You back?” Nothing dramatic happened o, no alert or anything; just pleasures. Just you simply enjoying Him.
Then there are those precious moments when you meet another believer who also lives in the River. River meets river; Life recognizes life. You begin talking about Jesus, and before long, the room is no longer just a room. Scriptures begin to flow effortlessly, one revelation opens another, one testimony awakens another, your hearts begin to burn, faith rises, and joy fills the atmosphere. You don’t want the conversation to end, and even your physical body feels strengthened. Goosebumps everywhere. Maybe even some tongues and hugs and some Rhema looks….ayaaa….hahahaha.
I always imagined that was what happened those few months Mary stayed with Elizabeth. Encounter jammed encounter!!!!
You leave refreshed, not because you had a motivational conversation, but because the River flowed freely between two lives surrendered to Christ.
This is the fellowship John spoke about: “…truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ” (1 John 1:3). When our fellowship is first with the Father, our fellowship with one another becomes a natural sharing of His Life.
There are days He wakes you in the middle of the night just to be with Him. There was no crisis or an emergency Rara. You just couldn’t go back to bed. Love desires fellowship. You pray, you listen, you worship, and sometimes you say nothing at all, just listening for Him. Yet when you rise from that place, your soul is overflowing. You understand why David said, “In thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore” (Psalm 16:11).
This is the River. This is Zoe. This is not reserved for a few great saints; this is meant to be the normal Christian life. And this is not theory, sis. I am not writing what I am not enjoying! This is real! This is life! I desire nothing else! Haha…I’d give everything to ensure nothing tampers with the pleasures. Oh yes!
My dear sis, the Father is not merely calling us to serve Him. He is calling us to enjoy Him, to delight in Him, to walk with Him, to hear Him, to know Him, and to be so captivated by His presence that nothing this world offers can compete with the sweetness of His fellowship.
Actually, He is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied with Him!
If you are not satisfied with Him, no one can be attracted to Your God. Yeah, because even you are unsure. Seek to enjoy the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit, sis.
Come into the River. There are pleasures there that can only be understood by those who have learned to remain.
Stop Living from Cups
One of the greatest tragedies in the Body of Christ today is that many believers have learnt to survive on cups of water when God has invited them to live in a River. A conference gives them a cup, a sermon gives them a cup, a worship service gives them a cup, a retreat gives them a cup, someone else’s prayer gives them a cup, and someone else’s revelation gives them a cup.
For a few days, they feel refreshed, then the dryness returns. So they begin searching again for another conference, another revival meeting, another programme, another preacher, another song, another cup.
That was never God’s design. The Christian life was never meant to be sustained by occasional drinks; it was meant to be sustained by a continual flow. This is why Jesus did not promise us a cup. He promised us a well springing up into everlasting life (John 4:14), a River.
It would start as a well that would be enough to satisfy you, springing up, bubbling up, till it becomes the River of Zoe!
The Holy Spirit has not come to visit you once in a while and leave you searching for your next spiritual experience. He has come to dwell within you, to become your continual source of life, strength, wisdom, joy, peace, and fellowship with the Father.
Learn to stay with Him!
Learn to enjoy His Presence!
Let the River flow!
Let your noisy life give room for a silent moment alone with Your Father!
Overcome boredom and the need to be around people!
First learn to be with God and then….just let the River carry you.
Where Living Begins
This is why the Father keeps calling us deeper. He is not inviting us into a harder Christian life. He is inviting us into a happier one. Not happier because there are no battles, but because there is a River: a River that keeps flowing when the world runs dry, that sings over the weary soul, that cools the burning heart, that washes away yesterday’s dust, and that turns deserts into gardens.
It is a River that fills ordinary days with extraordinary fellowship; where His voice becomes familiar, where His Word becomes sweeter than honey, where obedience becomes delight, where worship becomes your natural language, and where prayer is no longer a duty, but a meeting with the One your soul loves.
It is a place where tears become holy, where silence becomes full, and where your greatest excitement is simply that He is near.
Oh, may we never settle for standing on the bank, admiring what God has invited us to enter! May we drink until every dry place within us is watered. May we remain until His joy becomes our joy, His peace our peace, His desires our desires, and His very Life our life.
For there is a place in God where striving ends… and living begins. There is a place where the River is no longer something you visit, it becomes the place where you dwell. Let us not merely read about the River. Let us enter it, let us remain in it, and let us never come out.
PRAYER
Father, thank You for speaking to me once again today. Thank You for opening my eyes to the beauty of Your River. Create in me a deeper hunger for Your presence. Draw me away from every shallow stream until I find my home in You. Teach me to drink deeply, to remain continually, and to delight in Your fellowship. Let every dry place within me come alive again, and let Your River flow freely through every area of my life. May I never settle for standing on the shore when You are inviting me to swim. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Let us take our second song for the day powerfully again:

STIRRING THE WATERS
Dear sister, it is that special moment. Take the next 10 minutes to stir the waters by praying in the Holy Ghost. Gladly embrace this sacred pause. Let the instrumental below play as you lift your voice in prayer. Do not rush. Pray until your spirit is refreshed and your heart is stirred.
This is Father to daughter.
This is Spirit to spirit.
Yield yourself completely to Him.
If you have not yet received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, this is your moment. Cry out to your loving Father with all your heart:
“Father, fill me! Baptize me! Immerse me in Your Spirit! I need You for life. Holy Spirit, come. Baptize me with the Holy Ghost, and Father, please grant me another Pentecost, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
Let’s start stirring.
TAKE CHARGE
- Father, in the mighty Name of Jesus, I present myself before You today. I sanctify my spirit, my soul, my body, my home, and this entire atmosphere unto You. Let every part of me and every space around me come under the government of the Holy Spirit.
- By the precious blood of Jesus, I declare that this atmosphere belongs to the Kingdom of God. I establish the Lordship of Jesus Christ over this place. Let every power, every influence, every imagination, every distraction, and every operation of darkness be silenced and brought into absolute submission to the authority of Christ.
- I declare that I am a vessel of the living God. My spirit is open to Heaven alone. My ears are open to hear. My eyes are open to see. My heart is soft and ready to receive. Every veil over my understanding is removed in the Name of Jesus. Every resistance to the working of the Holy Spirit is broken.
- Father, breathe upon me afresh. Let Your Zoe arise within me. Let every dead place receive Your life. Let every weary place receive Your strength. Let every dark place be flooded with Your light. Let everything in me that is not of Christ bow before the power of Your indestructible life.
- I command every strange spirit, every demonic presence, every satanic interference, every spirit of heaviness, confusion, fear, distraction, slumber, deception, oppression, and resistance to the Word of God to leave this atmosphere now, in the mighty Name of Jesus. You have no place here. Jesus Christ is Lord over this home, this room, this meeting, and my life.
- I release the rivers of living water from within my spirit to flow freely throughout this atmosphere. Let the presence of God fill this place. Let the ministry of angels prevail. Let the voice of the Holy Spirit be loud and clear. Let Heaven invade this atmosphere.
- Today, I take my place as a son of God, a temple of the Holy Spirit, and a carrier of the life of God. I refuse every distraction. I refuse every condemnation. I refuse every limitation. My heart is fixed on Christ, and I receive all that the Father has prepared for me today.
- Father, take absolute charge. Glorify Your Son. Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your will be done in me and through me. Let Zoe be unleashed afresh in every part of my life. In the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.
START PRAYING
Cry out from your heart:
- Father, thank You for the River of Life that flows from Your throne. Thank You for not leaving me to struggle through the Christian life in my own strength. Thank You for making Your very Life available to me through Christ, in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, thank You for calling me beyond the shore into the depths of Your presence. Thank You because You desire not just my service, but my fellowship. Thank You for inviting me into a life of continual communion with You, in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, thank You for the Holy Spirit, the living River within me. Thank You because He is my Comforter, my Teacher, my Guide, my Strength, and my everlasting Source. Blessed be Your holy Name, in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, thank You for every dry place You have already begun to water. Thank You because where Your River flows, everything lives. Thank You because barrenness, emptiness, and spiritual dryness are giving way to Your abundant Life, in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, thank You for the joy of Your presence, the sweetness of Your Word, and the pleasures found in fellowship with You. Thank You because You are satisfying my soul with Yourself. Receive all the glory forever, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
- Father, by the power of the Holy Spirit, pull me out of every shallow experience with You. Carry me into the depths of Your River until I completely lose myself in Christ, in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, I refuse to remain on the shore. Break every fear, comfort zone, tradition, and limitation that has kept me from entering the fullness of Your Life. Draw me deeper, in the Name of Jesus.
- River of Life, flow through every dry place within me. Water every barren area of my spirit, soul, and body until everything in me begins to live again, in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, baptize me into continual fellowship with You. Deliver me from a dry, mechanical, and routine Christian life. Let Your presence become my greatest delight, in the Name of Jesus.
- Lord Jesus, make Your Word sweeter to me than honey. Let every page of Scripture burn with life. Open my eyes to behold wondrous things out of Your Word every day, in the Name of Jesus.
- Holy Spirit, awaken holy hunger within me. Destroy every appetite for spiritual mediocrity, worldly distractions, and empty pursuits. Cause me to thirst continually for the River of Life, in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, let Your River carry away every anxiety, heaviness, fear, confusion, disappointment, bitterness, and weariness in my heart. Fill me with Your supernatural peace and holy joy, in the Name of Jesus.
- Lord, make me like a tree planted by the rivers of water. In every season, let my leaf remain green, my roots go deeper, and my life continually bear fruit to Your glory, in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, let the River of Zoe flow into my marriage, my children, my home, my ministry, my work, my studies, my finances, and every area of my life. Let everything connected to me come alive, in the Name of Jesus.
- Holy Spirit, teach me to live from the River and not from occasional cups. Let Your presence become my daily atmosphere, my constant supply, and my inexhaustible source, in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, raise me above striving and self-effort. Teach me to rest in the current of Your Spirit until Your strength becomes my strength, Your wisdom becomes my wisdom, and Your Life becomes my life, in the Name of Jesus.
- Lord, surround me with men and women who are drinking from this same River. Let every fellowship, conversation, and gathering ignite fresh fire, deeper revelation, and greater love for Christ, in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, wherever there is death in my life, let Your River flow there today. Let every dead vision, dead passion, dead prayer altar, dead gift, dead relationship, and dead hope receive Your resurrection Life, in the Name of Jesus.
- Lord, let my life become a channel through which Your River flows. Wherever You send me, let Your peace, healing, joy, wisdom, and Life reach others through me, in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, I will not settle for the shore. Carry me into waters to swim in until I am completely yielded to Your Spirit, completely satisfied in Your presence, completely filled with Your Zoe, and completely transformed into the image of Christ, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Continue praying as the Lord leads.
Round off with thanksgiving when you are done.
And then continue below.
FATHER’S CORNER
Let the instrumental below play softly while you spend time with your Father. Imagine Him seated right before you. Now, begin to talk to Him as though you can see Him. Heaven is open. Your Father is waiting.
Ask freely. Ask sincerely. Ask for meat, not chaff. Pour out your heart without reservation. This is not a religious exercise; it is a conversation between a Father and His beloved child.
Spend these next 10 minutes unhurried in His presence. If your heart longs to remain longer, please do. Give Him your attention. Listen as much as you speak. Those things in your journal, open them up and cry them out to your Father.
When you are done, round off your time with heartfelt thanksgiving.
PRAYER OF AGREEMENT
Let us pray together as one and see the glory of God. Do not remain silent or just say ‘Amen’. Follow the prayer carefully, open your mouth, and pray along. Repeat each declaration with faith and from the depths of your heart. Let every prayer become your own sincere cry to God.
Remember, this prayer covers every one of us. As you wholeheartedly stand in agreement for your sisters, they are also standing in agreement for you. “Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them” (Matthew 7:12). Therefore, pray earnestly, believe confidently, and expect the Lord to answer.
Now, let us lift up our voices together in faith.
(TRANSCRIPT)
Shall we agree together in prayers?
I go first, you go with me. Let’s pray.
Our Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, thank You for another day of Juicy July. Thank You because Your mercies are new every morning.
Your Word says that if two of us shall agree on earth concerning anything that we ask, it shall be done by our Father in heaven.
Your Word says that where two or three are gathered together in Your name, You are there in the midst of them.
Therefore, Father, today we stand before You as one family, one altar, and one body in Christ.
We come into agreement according to Your Word, and we receive by faith all that You have purposed to do in this season.
Father, we agree that every participant of Juicy July who has not yet truly encountered Jesus Christ shall be saved.
Let every backslider return home. Let every heart be awakened. Let Christ be revealed, and let many come into the knowledge of the truth.
Father, we agree that every hungry heart shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit. No one desiring the gift of the Holy Spirit will leave Juicy July without experiencing it in Jesus.
Father, we agree concerning every sister and every participant whose spiritual hunger has grown cold. Who have no burden for prayers, Father, awaken them by Your mercy.
Let a fresh hunger for Your presence arise in them. Let a holy burden for prayer fall upon them in Jesus Name.
Fill every participant who has experienced the Holy Ghost baptism afresh, Lord. Stir up every spiritual gift. Awaken every grace. Deepen our intimacy with You.
Empower us to live holy lives, to pray fervently, and to fulfil your will for our lives. Let Your Life be fully unleashed within us in the Name of Jesus.
Father, we agree concerning every participant and every name brought before this altar. Let every sickness bow to the name of Jesus. By His stripes, we decree healing.
We agree for creative miracles, Lord. Let damaged organs be restored, missing parts be created, blind eyes be opened, deaf ears hear, and impossible cases become undeniable testimonies, all for the glory of Jesus Christ.
Father, we agree concerning every waiting family. By Your mercy, release the babies You have promised. Let the sound of rejoicing replace the cry of barrenness.
Heal every husband and every wife. Restore every reproductive system. Open every womb according to Your mercy, and let these children be born for Your glory.
Father, we agree concerning kingdom marriages. Bring together those You have prepared for one another.
Bone to her bone, flesh to his flesh.
Break every demonic influence on their marital life, every delay, every deception, every counterfeit relationship, and every barrier standing against Your purpose. Destroy by fire!
Establish for you, godly homes that will glorify Christ and advance Your Kingdom.
Father, we agree concerning the finances of every participant. Open every door You have ordained.
Open every window of heaven over our lives. Break every chain of lack, stagnation, and financial oppression.
Release divine provision, favour, wisdom, opportunities, and abundant supply, that we may abound unto every good work and have more than enough to advance Your Kingdom.
Father, let Your Kingdom come. Let Your will be done in Africa as it is in heaven. Visit Nigeria and every nation represented in this Juicy July. Let the bloodshed cease. Let kidnappings cease. Let terrorism cease. Let violence and corruption be brought low. Let righteousness be exalted.
Purify Your Church. Remove compromise, falsehood, and worldliness. Raise faithful shepherds, bold witnesses, holy families, and labourers who will make disciples for Your glory.
Holy Spirit, take over the church in Nigeria, Africa and the nations again, by your mercy.
Father, because we carry the life of Christ, we decree that every manifestation of death must give way to life. Let sickness give way to life. Let barrenness give way to life. Let weakness give way to life. Let dryness give way to life. Let fear give way to life. Let discouragement give way to life. Let every area where death has spoken be overwhelmed by the life of God.
Let Zoe be unleashed in us, through us, and around us in Jesus Name.
Juicy July, hear the word of the Lord!
No delays, no roadblocks, and no excuses! Every single day of this month will show the raw Zoe life, light, and power of God!
We decree right now: No problem that came into July with us goes out with us!
Thou pregnant womb of heaven, we open our hands wide and we receive our deliverables! You will not go back with our blessings! You will deliver them all completely, and we are enabled to receive them!
Every power that wants to stop us, we stop you right now by fire! You cannot block our answers, and you cannot delay our testimonies!
It is finished, it is settled, and we have won by the power that is in the blood of Jesus!
In Jesus’ mighty name.
AMEN!
VICTORY DECLARATION
Before you leave today, seal everything the Lord has done in your heart with this declaration of victory. Don’t just listen. Sing it boldly. Let every word become your confession of faith. Christ has finished the work; now walk in the victory He has secured for you.
It is finished…
My Lord cried out loud.It is finished…
The price has been paid.It is finished…
The Kingdom invades earth! It is finished…
Therefore I prevail!
Declare it until your spirit believes it. In Christ, the victory is already yours.
