PRAYING FOR MY FUTURE HUSBAND DAY 18

 

Day 18 Prayer Focus:

Lord, make my future husband and I into one, glorious, flourishing light. May we never be divided in anything in the Name of Jesus.

 

Before You Pray

The enemy’s greatest attack against marriages isn’t always infidelity or poverty, it is division. 

Many couples are married but still live as two strangers under one roof. They plan separately, pray separately, save separately, even dream separately. That is not God’s design.

When God said, “the two shall become one,” He meant everything! One heart, one body, one vision, one direction, one purpose, one spirit, one destiny. Anything short of that is already a crack the devil can exploit.

Some people enter marriage determined never to be fully joined. They say, “I will have my own account,” “my own way,” “my own family,” “my own side.” But that mindset destroys unity. God designed marriage to be a fusion, not an arrangement. When you both become one, you move as a single force that hell cannot divide.

Pray today that every individualistic spirit dies before marriage. Ask God to break every seed of pride, independence, and suspicion that prevents two people from truly becoming one. Cry out for humility, for trust, for deep spiritual joining.

Pray that your future husband will not be a man who hides, withholds, or distances himself emotionally or spiritually. Pray that God will give both of you one language, one rhythm, one altar, one heart. That even in parenting, finances, ministry, and family matters, you will move as one body and one voice.

When a man and a woman truly become one, they are unstoppable. Their unity becomes a weapon. They become like a flaming sword in God’s hand. They become impossible to bend, impossible to break, impossible to divide. That is the kind of marriage we are asking God for today.

Father, I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus. You are the God who made two become one in the beginning. You joined Adam and Eve and said, “The two shall become one flesh.” 

Lord, make me and David, my future husband, one indeed in Jesus Name . 

May we be one, not just in word, not just in appearance, but in heart, in purpose, in calling, and in spirit in the Name of Jesus.

Every spirit of division, every seed of individualism, every root of pride or self-centeredness planted in our hearts, Lord, uproot them now by the fire of the Holy Ghost. 

Deliver us from the spirit of separation even before marriage in Jesus Name.

Deliver us from the mindset that says “mine” instead of “ours,” “me” instead of “us.” Lord, upon meeting ourselves, let our pronouns change, let “I” become “we,” and “mine” become “ours,” by the power of Your Spirit in Jesus Name. 

Father, let Your hand melt us together. Join our hearts so tightly that no enemy can separate us. Let our minds think alike in righteousness. Let our plans be born from the same altar of prayer. Let our visions align perfectly under Your light. May our thoughts, dreams, finances, and decisions become unified in Your will in the Mighty Name of Jesus. 

Oh Lord, break every wall that is mounting or will be mounted between us. Every emotional walls, financial walls, spiritual walls, and generational walls. Break to pieces now! 

Every mindset that says a man must have his side and a woman hers, shatter in the name of Jesus. 

Every counsel that says “do not trust fully,” “keep your space,” “don’t open up everything,” I tear it down now. I decree full openness, full trust, full nakedness of heart and spirit between us.

Lord, make us one indeed. Let us pray together, dream together, plan together, and raise children together. Let there be no separate altars, no separate faith, no separate vision. 

Make our union one that heaven can trust with generational assignments in Jesus Name. 

Use our togetherness as a weapon against hell in the Mighty Name of the Lord Jesus. 

Make our marriage a single flame that burns bright for Your glory in Jesus glorious Name. 

Father, heal every area in our hearts that fears oneness in Jesus Name. Where there is fear of losing control, bring surrender in Jesus Name. 

Where there is fear of disappointment, bring trust by Your mercy, my Father. 

Where there is pride, bring humility in us in the Mighty Name of Jesus. 

Lord, I break every generational pattern of division; of families that separate, homes that fall apart, hearts that stay distant. I declare that pattern stops with us in the Mighty Name of the Lord Jesus. 

I plead the blood of Jesus over our minds, our bond, our home, and our covenant. We will not be divided by in-laws, by money, by offense, or by pride. We will not run two different races. Our marriage will move as one body, one spirit, one fire, one voice in the name of Jesus.

And Father, let this oneness birth fruit. Fruit of love, peace, unity, and destiny. May our children see and learn oneness from us. May our home be so knitted that heaven can look upon it and smile. Make us that one glorious light, one that no darkness can ever divide.

Now, Declare

I declare in the mighty name of Jesus that my future husband and I are one,  one heart, one mind, one destiny, one fire. Every wall of division is broken. Every selfish mindset is scattered. We are joined by the hand of God and sealed by the blood of Jesus. Our oneness is unshakable and unbreakable. We will not walk in pride, separation, or distrust. We move together, we plan together, we pray together, we win together. Our love will not fade with time; it will grow stronger in trials and deeper in purpose. Our marriage will be one light that hell cannot dim, one voice that confuses the enemy, and one union that glorifies God. We are one flesh, one spirit, one calling,  forever bound in divine unity, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
