PRAYING FOR MY FUTURE HUSBAND DAY 13

 

Day 13 Prayer Focus:

Lord, fill my future husband with the Holy Ghost and let all the fruit of the Spirit be produced in him that our marriage might be beautiful.

 

Before You Pray

Dear sisters, a marriage without the Holy Ghost is like a house without breath! And the truest beauty of a man is not his face, voice, or body but the Presence he carries.

Many men today are alive but not filled! Some are gifted but empty, intelligent but powerless, disciplined yet spiritually blind. Many know Scripture but not Spirit. They can lead businesses, but not their homes. They can conquer the world, but cannot master their emotions! Ayaa!

Only the Holy Ghost can make a man whole. The Holy Ghost is the One who makes a man love beyond offense, forgive beyond reason, lead without arrogance, and serve with joy. He teaches men to control anger, to resist temptation, to build, to nurture, to lead.

When the Spirit of God fills a man, he becomes stable. He is not tossed by lust, anger, depression, or fear. His presence becomes peaceful, his voice carries power, and his love becomes a shelter. Can’t you see what blessed gift this kid of a man is, sis?

Many marriages today are suffering because the men of the home are empty. No oil in their lamps. No fire on their altar. No Word in their hearts.

You must pray for your future husband to be filled, truly filled, with the Holy Ghost. Dear sis, I do not mean just a one-time encounter thing but a daily overflow. Pray that the Spirit will not just rest on him, but dwell in him.

Pray that the fruit of the Spirit will grow naturally from his life, and that his love for you will be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church. Oh that the Lord may enlighten your understanding so you can know what I am talking about and give you the grace to really desire this for your man!

Father, I lift David, my future husband, into Your presence today.

Oh my Lord, You said it is not by might, nor by power, but by Your Spirit. So, breathe upon David afresh wherever he is. Let Your Holy Ghost overshadow him from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet. Let Your fire purge him within and without. Baptize him into Your Spirit until every trace of fleshly weakness is swallowed by divine strength in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Father, let the Spirit of holiness rest upon him. Burn out every residue of carnality, lust, pride, fear, or self-dependence. Uproot every habit that fights purity and righteousness. Deliver him from secret struggles, unseen battles, and inner torment. Let his heart become Your home. Let his thoughts become Your dwelling place in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Lord, fill him until he overflows. Let the Spirit of wisdom and revelation rest upon him. Let the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord rule him. Let the Spirit of counsel guide his mind. Let the Spirit of might empower his hands. Let the Spirit of truth fill his mouth. Let the Spirit of grace and supplication keep him at Your altar in the Name of Jesus.

Oh, Holy Ghost, brood over my husband’s mind until it becomes calm and clear. Brood over his emotions until they come under Your government. Brood over his heart until every trace of anger, impatience, or insecurity is washed away. Let the river of peace flow through David’s soul now in the Mighty Name of Jesus. 

Lord, fill David, my future husband with Your love, a love that heals, protects, and gives.

Fill him with joy that cannot be stolen, with peace that silences storms, with patience that waits, with gentleness that corrects in kindness, with goodness that shines like light, with faith that never shakes, with meekness that bows to Your will, and with self-control that conquers temptation in the mighty Name of Jesus. 

Father, make him a man whose spirit cannot be manipulated. Let his ears discern truth from deception. Let his eyes see through flattery. Let his hands reject sin and embrace righteousness. Let his feet walk paths that lead to destiny in the Name of Jesus.

I decree that my future husband will not be filled with alcohol, ego, or lust, he will be filled with the Holy Ghost. He will not be drunk with emotion, he will be drunk with power. He will not burn with strange fire, he will burn with divine passion in the Name of Jesus. 

Oh dear Lord, let the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead quicken his mortal body. Let resurrection power enter his prayer life, his worship life, his thoughts, his habits, his vision, his relationships, and his future marriage with me in the Mighty Name of Jesus. 

Let his life carry the aroma of Your presence.

Let David, my future husband’s words bring healing. Let his leadership carry wisdom, and let his love reflect Your purity in the Name of Jesus. 

Oh Father, make my man a man of fire who prays without ceasing, who hears without confusion, and who obeys without delay in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. 

And Father, fill me too. Let me be the kind of woman who can host a Spirit-filled man. Ayaaaaaa…..Make me a woman fit for Your dear son, David, my future husband. May I never be a misfit for him. Prepare me, oh Lord, my God. 

Let our union be a dwelling place for the Holy Ghost, my Father and let our home become a sanctuary where You reign forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Now, Declare

I declare that David, my future husband, is a man filled with the Holy Ghost. He is saturated with fire and clothed with power. His thoughts are holy, his actions are righteous, and his life is ruled by the Spirit of God.

I declare that the Spirit of the Lord rests upon him, the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord. He will not walk in confusion, he will not stumble in darkness, he will not bow to the flesh.

I declare that his life overflows with love, peace, and joy. Anger, lust, pride, and bitterness have no place in him. His spirit is calm, his heart is pure, his words are seasoned with grace. The Spirit of God gives him strength to lead, wisdom to build, humility to serve, and patience to love.

I declare that our marriage will be a house of the Spirit, a place where the glory of God dwells, where peace reigns, where fire burns continually upon the altar. Our love will reflect the image of Christ and the Church.
Our children will be raised under the cloud of His presence. We will not live by emotion but by the leading of the Holy Ghost.

I declare that this prayer is sealed in heaven. The Spirit of God has filled David. The Spirit of God has filled me. And our union will be filled with God Himself. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
