TOPIC: LORD, SEND DOWN YOUR RAIN OF MIRACLES!

BIBLE STUDY: 2KINGS 4:8-37

 

It’s Juicy July 2022, Day 10, sisters! Glory be to God for how far He has brought us. Halleluyah for what He has done for us, what is presently doing and what He will yet do. Glory!

 

And Day 10 is also a perfect day to do what we are about to be doing today, sisters. Before I introduce what that is, let me ask you a question.

 

Do you want more miracles, my dear sister?

 

Yes? Oh glory! Because what we are going to be doing today is one of the ways God uses to bless His children. Halleluyah!

 

Let me show you what Job 42:10 says:

 

After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.

 

Wow! Just because he prayed for his friends? He got restoration in double portions? Wow!

 

Let me also show you another passage. James 5:16 says:

 

Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

 

Did you grab that again?

 

It says we should pray for one another so that we can be healed! When we pray for others, healing comes to not only them but to us!

 

 

I hope you now understand what we are going to be doing today.

 

 

Oh yes, we are going to be praying for our fellow sisters. We are carrying the burdens of our sisters today and raising our voices to Heaven for them!

 

 

As I compiled the prayer points, my eyes welled up within me and my heart was moved with compassion. As I compiled the prayers, I prayed! Like, what! My sisters going through all these? My own sisters bearing all these burdens?

 

 

Sisters, we all need one another! Let us be ready to raise our voices to Heaven on behalf of our sisters. When we all raise our voices, there would be abundant rain of miracles in our family! Halleljuyah!

 

 

Let’s sing this song together before we go on. This song in itself is a deep message. It is a deep prayer. Let our minds be focused on Heaven with great faith as we sing. Amen.

WELCOME BACK, SISTERS!

So, why should we pray for our sisters?

 

It is important for us to pray for others because Jesus Christ has commanded us to do so.

 

Jesus commands that we pray, not only for our family, friends, and fellow believers, but even for our enemies (Matthew 5:44; Luke 6:28).

 

By praying for others we are imitating Jesus Christ, who intercedes with God the Father on our behalf (Romans 8:34; John 17:9), as well as the Spirit of God who intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26).

 

Like, did you get that?

 

We are not just people who ask and ask and concentrate on ourselves. But we take eyes off ourselves like our Lord Jesus would, just for the sake of others!!

 

The New Testament epistles are replete with examples of praying for others as well as calls to do so.

 

So, obedience to God’s Word is one reason to pray for others.

 

It is also important to pray for others because by doing so we are participating with God in the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18–20).

 

Although God is sovereign over all things, He has chosen to allow us the unspeakable privilege of being part of the outworking of His plan.

 

He has chosen to include our prayers and our sharing of the gospel as a means to bring others to repentance and salvation in Jesus Christ (Matthew 9:37–38; 2 Thessalonians 3:1; 2 Timothy 2:24–25).

 

As children of God, we are spiritual weapons in God’s mighty hand. When we pray for others, we also enjoy the privilege of rejoicing in God’s work in their lives.

 

Because of a truth, when you pray, God will answer. When you see the answers, you’d rejoice and be glad.

 

Praying for our fellow sisters in Christ is one means by which we share one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

 

We pray for things such as their spiritual growth, physical needs, and encouragement.

 

Praying for others indicates love for others. If we do not love, it indicates that we do not know God (1 John 3:10; 4:20–21).

 

We ought to love everyone, but there is a special love that we have for fellow believers and as such we ought to pray for them fervently (1 John 3:14; Galatians 6:10).

 

We see this frequently among the apostles and early believers. They were always asking each other to pray for them and remembering each other in their prayers (Ephesians 1:16; 6:18–19; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Philemon 1:4;). Why?

 

Because they know that it is God and God alone who can strengthen them, uphold them, and cause them to rejoice even amid the sorest trials and stand against the most enticing temptations (Luke 22:32; Ephesians 3:20; Romans 16:25; 2 Peter 2:9; Matthew 6:13).

 

We pray for ourselves and others because we know it is God who holds the power.

 

As the writer of Hebrews said, “Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession….

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:14–16).

 

This is why during any of our prayer programmes, I love us to get personal prayer requests of our sisters so that we can raise our voices together to God on their behalves.

 

It is time for us to bear other people’s burdens by praying for them.

 

It is time to forget all our issues and focus on other people’s problems, knowing fully well that when we leave our problems to carry other people’s issues, God will face our own issues squarely and make a way for us.

SHALL WE PRAY?

 

Let’s glorify the name of the Lord for who he is. Call him all the wonderful names that befit the king of the world.

 

Let’s begin to thank the lord for The BUD family. Thank the Lord for keeping us in perfect peace till now. Thank God for all that the Lord has used this family to do in your life.

 

Let’s give God the glory for the Juicy July programme and all other wonderful programmes of the family.

 

Ask the Lord to forgive you and every member of the family in any way we have wronged him. Ask the Lord to have mercy on us and take away anything that might stand between us and our blessings.

 

Ask the Lord to make you selfless indeed. Ask for His mercy to make you forget all about your own issues now and focus only on the other sisters’ issues.

 

Ask the Lord to give you the heart of an intercessor.

 

Cover where you are with the Blood of Jesus. Take charge of your environment confidently and vehemently.

 

Tell the Lord that whatever you bind is bound and whatever you loose is loosed!

 

Tell the Father that as you travail on behalf of others, their problems will not become yours. Instead, they will be burn to ashes and forgotten forever! If any power rises against you, God should condemn such! Pray!

 

There shall be testimonies after this prayer oh lord! Every sister I pray for will come forward to share of Your goodness. (Pray!)

 

Your testimonies will never depart from The BUD family oh lord. Fill our mouths with songs of joy in the mighty name of Jesus! Pray!

1. Ma, I have a prayer request. I want the children of God to Pray for my family. I want God to open the flood gates of Heaven and pour out Financial Breakthrough and Divine Healing upon my Mom. To also grant me All round Breakthrough in my Academics, Financially and Business.

 

 

2. Here is my prayer point, ma. Please, join me in prayers against the spirit of debts. I can see this as a force of the devil against me. Also, prayer for financial breakthrough.

 

 

3. Good morning Mama. I learnt fashion designing and since 2016, my graduation has been delayed. Many times, I bring it up in the family, they will promise to help but something will just happen and it will not hold. In 2019, I’d already chosen the date and invited people but along the line, the whole plan didn’t work. I have some limitations in my work and it makes me feel less of myself. I can’t accept apprentice because I’ve not graduated. `I feel there’s a limiting factor somewhere. I am the first female in my dad’s family to go beyond secondary school level and it’s like this is one of the battles I will fight. I want the BUD family to join me in prayers. I want God to make my graduation work this year in a miraculous way.

 

 

4. For some months now things have not really been good in my family(financially). We just eat whatever we see. My father’s business and mine have been very low. No sales. So, I want God to turn things around for good and let there be abundance of prosperity and wealth. The lord should bless the work of our hands(business) and destroy every works of darkness over our business d Family

 

 

5. I have just one specific prayer request ma. I’m trying to apply and get scholarship for my post-graduate program abroad, and ever since I started, I’ve not been getting favourable response and starting afresh again last month, I’ve also not been getting that desired results. So, I want the BUD family, to also join me in prayers that He will show me mercy in my applications this year and open the door of good admission with fully funded scholarship abroad for me to the glory of His name in Jesus name👏👏. 6. Good afternoon Ma (From Nigeria). Ma, I am messaging as regards the deep prayer request to be sent. Ma, please I need the children of God to join me in prayers. There is the swelling on me that started last year, I can’t remember precisely when but it is certainly over five months now. I have done medical test and taken medications. It reacts to the drugs like it is healing and later shows up. It is really annoying. I need God to heal me completely this July, as it is my birthday month. Thank you so much ma.

 

 

7. Good morning Mama. Please I have some prayer request. Firstly, I need prayers concerning my spiritual life. Things are not the way I want ma, it’s like I force myself to do things that I should be doing like my prayers and reading God’s word.

 

• Also, my admission and that of my sister is giving me concern ma. We want to get admission before our 25th birthday. I know this is little to which God can do ma.

 

• Lastly, we need financial breakthrough in my family. I don’t know where it’s coming from or how it’s going to happen but we just need to come out of this low life we are living. And Good health for every member of my family.

 

 

8. Good morning Mama. Sorry to drop so many things on you this morning. I am just so tired of everything. This is my 5th year at home after graduation without a job. I did some small certifications to get more skills but nothing. I applied for masters but there was no money to go. I live in a country where students can’t work and foreigners get side-lined in employments. I’m turning 30 this year 😔 (first time admitting it to myself and some else) I never tell people my age because I get anxiety about it and I don’t want to be questioned and stuff. People assume I’m just in my late 20s. My birthday getting closer has made me on edge and frustrated and it got worse cuz my mum reminded me that year was ending again that what will I do (the stress is from my helplessness: no money and no job)

 

I got a word of knowledge 2 years back that I should return home that that’s where my assignment and marriage is meanwhile my family has been here for more than 20 years. It was hard to swallow. But I prayed about it and I believe God was leading me home too. But since then, no headway. My parents keep telling me the bad things happening back home and they don’t advise me to leave and also no money to even get plane tickets. I wanted to enrol for NYSC maybe my path will be one clearer. I told my parents, they seemed to agree but recently it’s been “I don’t think you should go, things are really bad that side, why don’t try and find a job here”..  but I have been on that for 5 years now.

 

Pls I need prayers for my sister’s wedding and also my life. I feel it’s at a standstill. I was ready to go home and start but people around me won’t allow me and no other means of leaving. I feel I am wasting away here while life is passing me by. I don’t even know how to type prayer points but I just need a calm to this storm and a way forward

 

 

9. Good Morning Mama, so I recently had a very embarrassing breakout on my skin. My chest, neck, shoulder and back. It’s so embarrassing that people keep asking questions. 😭 I want everything to clear up in no time. I don’t know the cause but I want God to heal me completely. That I will never ever have any of such.

 

• I also have a major determining professional exams to write next month. I need God’s divine intervention to get my desired outcome.

 

 

10. I really need the family to join their faith with mine and pray for my younger brother, he has not been able to walk for 4 months now and I believe God to bring him back on his feet. The hospital said he is going to undergo a hip replacement surgery which will cost about 2 million or more but before then God showed me my brother taking baby steps until he could work properly again without any surgery and that is what I want the lord to make manifest in the mighty name of Jesus

 

 

11. God bless you ma for the journal every day. I will like BUD to join me in prayer for God’s financial miracle in my family. Also, where I am working there’s a bargain sort of on my salary. I want God’s mercy to intervene and my salary be paid in full. God bless you ma.

 

 

12. This is my prayer request. In 2017, I discovered that I have spirit husband during a prayer meeting and since then I have gone for deliverance severally, still I dream about it and at 26 yet no man has ever asked of my hand in marriage, the one that did in 2020 didn’t last a month with me. I’m an ND holder but I have nothing I’m doing presently, no work, no business. I tried doing coated peanut business but nothing seems to work for me, I tried enrolling for baking class, no financial support. I want God to give my life a meaning. I need a great change and turnaround in my life financially, maritally, academically even in my spiritual life. I want God to deliver me permanently from spirit husband and its afflictions. I want God to deliver me from stagnancy, limitations, failure and delay.

 

I want God to please give me directions on what to do, to fulfil purpose and at the same time make me financially successful and independent. I want God to settle me maritally in his perfect will before the end of this year in Jesus name. Amen

 

 

13. My sister is currently in her first year going to second year but she had to repeat first year because she didn’t get the cumulative GP to study the course of her choice. God willing before September, a list of students would be selected. I pray that the favour of God would speak for her this time around and she would be selected.

 

 

14. I have a prayer point ma. Every problem, sicknesses the enemies has deposited into my life during my wedding reception, I hold the blood of Jesus against them, pack your load and leave my body in the Mighty Name of Jesus. During my wedding reception a lot happened, there was commotion which caused my MIL to cry and was somehow cursing. Some people called us back to plead with my MIL in which I knelt down with my husband to beg her and some of my relatives and some people too. At the end, they told her to pray for us if she was not angry again which she did. That night my husband had a vigil in which I join him when I heard his voice. All I’m experiencing in form of sickness began when I had my first issue. I discovered I was having fibroid in which I never experience any symptoms while single, high blood pressure in which I’ve never experienced before. Also when I registered for ANC then, during doctor’s assessment he was saying something like lump in my breast and I was like where, I try pressing coz I’ve been doing self-examination myself which I didn’t discover anything but he said it’s not significant. About 2-3 weeks ago now I started feeling slight pain in my flank (lumbar region/ abdominal region towards the back) (I’m trying to explain for you to understand the area ma) I complained to the doctor during my clinic and he was saying something like kidney stone, I was like for where again, I rejected it. He said I should do abdominopelvic scan to rule it out.

 

 

I’ve not used my drugs since the 2nd/3rd day of this program after reading someone’s testimony of her not using hers and her bp has been fine. Same here too since I stopped it now my BP has been normal. I did night duty last night and when I got home yesterday afternoon, after prayer I checked it was 140/90. I was tempted to use the drug but I was like let me go to church when I’m back I will recheck. Though I’ve not checked it but I believe it’s normal in Jesus name

 

 

15. Good morning mama. I want you to join me in prayer ma. I want a life that’s continuously growing in the Lord in all truth and sincerity in the Holy Spirit. And also, I recently started working in a bank but because I used my BSc degree I was employed as an graduate assistant. Later I got to know that I could have used my master’s degree. I just submitted it yesterday to the head office and I am praying that God should perfect all He has started because how I got this job is a miracle. God should please perfect it.

 

• Also mama, it’s my desire to get married this year and I know there’s nothing God can’t do. I want nothing short of His will

18. Please ma, I have a prayer request ma. I have been very concerned about the financial state of my family. Right from before I got married, my parents borrowed to send us to school and even to eat. My husband’s family too is poor and we are both first borns. Now I’m married, the same trend has started again. I have been asking God to bless us, bring me contracts in what I do. Yesterday I had a dream that someone very popular had made agreements with me and someone else to do a work for him, all of a sudden, when the work was to be done, he called, I missed his call and when I tried to remedy it, I couldn’t. I don’t want that dream to come to pass. I want huge contract this month and open doors from now on. I know there’s nothing too hard for Him to do.

 

 

 

19. For some time now because of pregnancy and all that, I haven’t been seeing my signs (I don’t understand this. Maybe she means experiencing the Presence of God). I need the Holy Spirit to come afresh, I want Him to be present with me every minute even as I’m taking care of this baby. I have heard testimonies of His being ever present and I want it too. Thank you, ma.

 

 

 

20. I have 1 prayer request. I need sudden help from God. I need direction on if I should go for masters, what course to go for and which school I apply to. This information will help my life as soon as possible.

 

21. Please I have prayer requests. I have been trying to conceive for about 3 years. I have done some tests so also my hubby. Mine was hormonal imbalance which I have used drugs, even tried herbs, prayers also- it’s like it is already affecting me psychologically already. My hubby was diagnosed with low sperm count and motility which we have been praying about and using drugs. Please I need your prayers family.

 

• Also my aunt she was diagnosed of fibroid she has used different medications and all and she is saying she does not want to do surgery. It has affected her arms and legs. Please I need God’s divine intervention on her because presently now she has to be carried in order to do activities of daily living. Thank you

25. My niece has this monthly nightly cough that leads to her vomiting everything in her tummy every day and can last for weeks. I want God to bring a permanent end to its root cause and give her appetite for good food.

 

 

26. There is this group of individuals who decided to have demonic access to my mind because I don’t talk or reply to their attitude. So, they can know what I am saying and thinking. I want God to please bring a permanent end to their demonic access to my mind and heap their evil on their heads. 🙏🏾

 

 

27. I have just been told that the exams I thought I will sit for in December has been slated for August. I don’t have materials to read for it yet. I want God to guide me to the right materials and area to focus on and that I will come out in fly colours.

 

 

28. Good morning sis. I have a prayer request.

 

• Concerning my spiritual life and salvation for my siblings.

 

• Fruit of the womb for two women close to me.

 

• A good and stable job for my elder brother.

29. I want the children of God to join me to pray that God will destroy every form of confusion surrounding my marital life.

30. Good morning ma’am. How is your day going ma? Please I have an urgent prayer request for my mom. She did interview for her promotion with some of her colleagues and some has been given their promotion letter. But my mom wasn’t given because they said there’s a new policy that they need to go for a course for six months which will cost #200k. My mom will soon retire and she doesn’t want to go for the course. So, I want BUD to help pray that every handwriting of ordinances against my mom’s promotion be blotted out and her promotion be given her. She has been working for long and now her reward which she merits won’t be taken away from her. Thanks ma

 

 

31. I have a prayer request. I need all BUD sisters to help raise their voice to God for:

 

– Divine job opportunity

 

– God should turn my reproach around to testimony.

 

– Order my steps, direct my path the next move of my life.

              – Divine Healing from generational sickness

– God should help take away every hinderances that is stopping my NYSC. ASUU have been the reason why I can’t go for NYSC for now. For my own sake God should touch the heart of the govt and meet their needs

 

 

32. I need prayers for myself and my family against evil genetic ailments from repeating itself in my family. Enough of untimely death in my family🙏

 

 

33. I want God to Divinely settle me maritally before 2023 Juicy July. I am a product of unwanted pregnancy, and presently my mother is not even enjoying her marriage, this and many more things are giving me fear about marriage. I will be 29 by December though, I’m in a relationship but, I want divine settlement, I don’t just want to get married but I want to marry well and gloriously.

 

• I just graduated from School in May, I want God to Provide a lucrative job that will allow me serve God, and I want God to bless my business because I want to start it very small.

 

• I want God to give me grace and anointing for fulfilment and manifestation of purpose.

 

 

34. I want the sis of God to join me in prayer, that the Lord in His Mercy will bring clarity concerning my marital Life, it seems all road is blocked, just in one position.

 

• My mother has been down with stroke (left hemiplegia) since the month of March. We have spent so much money in treatment and everything. I really want God to perfect His healing upon her life and restore her left limbs to normalcy.

 

• I have a professional exam to prepare for by November. We just concluded the mock exams for it and the result will be out by weekend. I want to come back to testify of my success in it and I want God to perfect this when I write the main exams in November.

 

• I want God to make me know His will for me concerning something I want to invest in. I don’t want to waste money because I did one before and the money went down the drain. 😓💔

 

 

35. My sis has been trying so hard to travel out for quite some time now. She’s supposed to study there and she has been offered admission but money is still a big issue. Please pray with us that God should open the showers of heaven and surprise her.

 

• Also her bosses at work have been pressurizing her. They slashed her salary into 2 for no just cause, one even wanted to have sex with her, yes it was that worse. Please pray with us that God should intervene.

 

• Another thing is that just this Sunday she lost her power bank and charger despite everything she’s been going through, I really feel for her. I pray she finds it this Sunday. Those that stole it should not have peace until they return it.

 

• Lastly, she clocked 30 this year and no sign of any man. All the ones she was sure were the one after God’s heart did one thing or the other and left. She is really waiting patiently for God’s will. I pray He answers her in due time.

 

 

36. Good morning ma, I have a prayer request. I also want to receive my own juicy july testimony. I did this job for a Lebanese Customer since June. it’s a curtain and window blinds job. After supplying and installing, the man has refused to pay me. Up until now I’m still dragging it with him but there seems to be no way. I don’t want to involve the authorities because I Know I have a God who is a higher authority and I know that he grants justice to the righteous. A lot of people have talked to him for me but he is still adamant and I heard he is traveling out of the country on Saturday. 40. I’ve been praying for sometimes now but I also want the whole house to join me. Till this present moment, none of my siblings (elder sisters) has been legally married, the one that has child now even had it in her early 30’s outside wedlock. 41. I don’t know how to start but I believe God will come through for me. I just want to give you a prayer request I know you have been praying for us but I am giving you a special one. You know I got married in 2019. I was expecting as every married woman that God will visit me but it did not happen and fast forward to 2020, I went for scan and it was discovered that I have multiple fibroids. I have been believing God for a miracle because I have heard of people, he blessed with the fruit of the womb even with fibroid. But nothing is coming forth. Was booked for Surgery in February but I did not go for it. Got to know of a sister that God showed some herbs in 1991 for it and she has been using it to cure people and they have been taking in so I decided to give it a try.

 

Two months ago, I went for scan it showed that the size has reduced (from about 8 x 8.2 or so cm to 4x3cm). I took it again went for scan yesterday. The first lab I went to showed that the size was big 7 by 7 cm or so) so I went to the place I did the other and it showed that the size is still same (4×3) like I got discouraged. The doctor advised I go for surgery. But I still believe God for a miracle. I made up my mind this morning to join this program wholeheartedly believing God to do an outstanding miracle.

43. My prayer Requests. I want God to have mercy on my Dad, I don’t know how He wants to do it. He is been writing promotion exams for the past ten years, he passes, even does interview and passes but somehow his name doesn’t come out in the list. It is tiring, writing this same exam year after year. God should have mercy and intervene.

 

• Two, I want God to cancel the plan of the enemy against my family, I have been having series of dreams of either death of accident of my family members.. I want God to cancel death and mourning in my family.
• Three, God should heal my mum, whatever it is in her body system that is not of God should get out. His blood should flow in her veins and cleanse her body.
• Four, Financial breakthrough for me and my family. Enough of poverty and debts.

47. The prayer request I have is that all my sisters join me to pray to God for Divine provision and manifestation of all His promises and prophecies over my family. My dad used to be the most believing but these days it’s like he’s gotten to the point of ‘hope deferred makes the heart sick’. 60. Good morning ma. I was called some time ago to send my application to Benue State Federal University of Health sciences’ School Clinic. Initially, I did not want it, because I didn’t want to leave Abuja. But the Holy ghost convinced me to go. My prayer point is that it comes Speedily.

 

• I submitted without my current Licence, that God will show me mercy.
• I had paid for my Licence for 4 months ago, but some online issues are delaying it, that Protocols will be broken for my sake to get my Licence. Or that the online issues hear the word of the Lord and behave. Because ‘…. the chastisement of my peace was upon him’ so I shouldn’t be experiencing unease.
• Peace in my Licence registration or protocols broken peacefully in Jesus name, Amen.

She told me about a revelation she had of a chicken that was given to her by her husband’s cousin as gift on their wedding day and while in that revelation her husband’s cousin told her that the chicken will continue to give birth but she will not and that chicken has been laying a lot but after that revelation they never saw the chicken again in their house till date it still can’t be found cause after discussing with their pastor and husband they pastor also confirmed it to be so and he asked that they pray over the chicken and kill it but before they could do anything it was gone. 😭😭😭😭

71. I have been out of a job for over 6 months now. I’ve been attending interviews and moving to the next stage but only one offered letter (and that one was offering me less than half of my former salary with much more work). I want to get a job before the end of July with a salary that will glorify God in a place that God has prepared for me.
