THE BUD FAMILY AFRICA
MONTHLY PRAYER AND FASTING BULLETIN FOR MARCH 2026
THEME: RECLAIMING BIBLICAL WOMANHOOD
TEXT: JEREMIAH 12:5-6
Dearly beloved sis, welcome to the end of the month of March.
Indeed God has been faithful.
Let’s take some moments to bless the name of the Lord for His faithfulness and goodness over us. Let’s lift up our hands wherever we are and just worship His name.
Celebrate Jesus… give Him praise… give Him honor… thank Him for the gift of life… Thank Him for bringing us through the month of March… For His faithfulness… for His mercy… for His preservation…
Father, we worship You…
We give You all the glory…
We give You all the honor…
Exalt the name of Jesus…
The name that is above every other name… The name by which we are saved… Let’s thank Him because there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we can be saved…
Let’s bless Him because His name is higher than every power… higher than every throne… higher than every situation…
Lord, we exalt Your name …
Now ask: Father, breathe upon us today as we seek your face… Breathe upon us afresh… Speak us into action… Cause us to move forward in Your purpose… Lord, let every resistance be subdued… Every opposition against Your will…let it bow in the name of Jesus.
Every gathering against our lives, against the BUD family Africa, against the Church of God in Nigeria, against God’s purpose…against marriages and homes, be scattered in the name of Jesus.
Father, we declare that Your counsel alone will stand… Your will alone will prevail…Thank You, Father… We give You all the glory… In Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed… Amen.
How Far We Have Come
We thank God for how far He has led us in March. It has truly been a month of reclaiming Biblical womanhood! Click here to read all the past bulletins for the Biblical Womanhood Month
There has been so much to learn and unlearn, right?
It has been a journey through the Bible, with Truth delivered in ways we might never have imagined; except the Lord Himself had opened avenues like this to us.
We believe so much in our hearts that not only have we received these Words, but we have begun to take intentional steps and make deliberate decisions to please God as women.
As wives, single ladies, and mothers, it is important that we notice the very things that make us shine brightly and differently in God’s presence, so that our hearts and lives become of great value to Him.
By now, we should have taken note of the best ways to apply these truths we are learning in our daily circumstances.
We should have resolved by now that presenting ourselves as living sacrifices to God is our first and most reasonable worship (Romans 12:1).
Because of the way we have been raised and the many influences we have absorbed from the world, it is imperative that we decide in our hearts to be different.
Romans 12:2 says:
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” (NLT)
In other words, all God has been exposing us to this month is how we can avoid the ways of the world, by being armed with the Truth.
If we are not to copy the world’s customs anymore, we must know what to do instead.
More importantly, we must allow God to transform us into women who fit the Biblical mold, following in the steps of Jesus. If our sincere desire is to please God, we must give Him the right of way to transform us by His Spirit.
So much has been said, and much remains to be done in response. This is the call to obedience.
The only way for the words we have heard, read, and seen to become life in us is through obedience, for God’s Truth carries His Spirit and Life.
The more we obey, the more we become like Christ.
The Bible says Jesus learned obedience (Hebrews 5:8). Likewise, we must learn it by our willingness to die to ourselves and the world’s ways.
Truth be told, the only reason we will live by these truths and apply them sincerely; not just to please others; is when our hearts are grounded in true love for God.
Love for God is not a matter of words, gifts, or traditions. It is characterized by our intentional decision to let go of all else, regardless of the consequences, and to say: “All we want is to do the will of the Father” (John 6:38).
In John 14:31, Jesus said the reason He obeyed the Father completely was because He loved Him. In verse 15 of the same chapter, He added: “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”
Sister, the only way we can live as Biblical women is to cultivate sincere, unpolluted love for the Father. That way, we will not see His Word as burdensome.
As 1 John 5:3 puts it:
“Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome.” (NLT)
If we will keep all the commandments of God as spelled out in the Bible for women; especially in these last days, in this perverse and corrupt generation; it is essential to love God.
And we can only love Him when we are ready to obey Him!!!

Stand Apart by the Truth
If this month has echoed anything at all, then surely you have heard it clearly: Be different, woman!
Yes, be different!
The women of the world, (who are in the majority, the loudest, the flashiest, and on the wide path) are all clamouring for the same things and the things they clamour for contradict the Scriptures! They contradict life!
The Bible says in Matthew 7:13–14,
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.”
The way of the world is broad and easy to follow. It is the path of the crowd. You cannot pretend not to see it. Everyone flows into it. Many of us have walked that path before as women. We have hungered for the same things, pursued the same course, and thirsted for what the world offers.
But the way of the Bible for a woman is narrow. It will require that you die to yourself, your will, your ambitions, your passions, and your emotions, so that Christ may be formed in you. You can’t walk this path and still carry baggages of the world, the road is for you alone, no worldly baggage attached. This is the way of Christ.
The way of Biblical womanhood leads to life, and only those who are willing, those who dare to be different, will find it. To walk this path, you must gird yourself.
But now that you have fed on the Bread of Life and drunk from the Rivers of Living Water, have your appetites truly changed?
My sister, determination alone will not sustain you.
Gird Yourself with Truth
Jeremiah 12:5–6:
If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan? Even your brothers, members of your own family, have turned against you. They plot and raise complaints against you. Do not trust them, no matter how pleasantly they speak (NLT).
If you have resolved to live by these truths but you do not gird yourself right, you will only end up right where you chose to withdraw from. You will faint before you even start!
If you choose to be a Biblical woman, prepare yourself for when the antagonisms come.
The world will rise against you, resist you, oh Biblical woman.
You will be called foolish, you will be called ignorant, you will be deprived, you will be ignored, you will be considered depraved and gullible. People will complain against you, telling you that the path of God is wrong. The voices around you will tell you that you have missed it.
Those whom you once called friends will be the ones to jest you and gossip about you.
Family will plot against you, perhaps deny you, and when things look like they are not working out, they will mock you.
Even in the Church, you may hear them say you have joined a cult, you have been brainwashed, you are living in heresy.
Are you willing to have this?
Will your resolve still be to be the woman who fits perfectly into God’s Biblical mold?
This path is one that a disciple of Christ must walk.
It is one of the things that makes the road to life narrow.
It is not suitable for the crowd. For this reason, sometimes you might have to walk alone.
Sometimes, God intentionally brings sisters you should walk with.
But in all, the Holy Spirit, the encourager, is right there to hold your hands and support you.
How to Stand in Truth
-
Know the Truth to Detect the Lies
This is where the belt of truth becomes very important. The belt is not a decorative piece of the armour. It is what holds everything together.
In the same way, truth is what keeps a woman from falling apart inwardly. If the truth is loose in your life, everything else will become unstable. Your convictions will be weak, your discernment will be poor, and your walk will soon become compromised.
Verse 6 says that they speak pleasantly, but they are not to be trusted. That is one of the clearest marks of deception.
Lies do not always come looking dangerous. Many times, they come sounding soft, reasonable, appealing, comforting, flattering, and even compassionate.
They speak pleasantly. They appeal to the flesh. They soothe pride. They protect self. They make rebellion sound harmless. They make disobedience sound wise.
That is why a Biblical woman cannot judge truth by how something sounds or how it makes her feel. She must judge by the Word of God.
That is what the belt of truth does. It fastens you to what is real. It binds you to what God has said. It keeps you from being carried away by every pleasant voice, emotional argument, cultural pressure, or flesh-pleasing doctrine.
A woman wearing the belt of truth is not easily seduced by language, tone, trends, or sympathy. She has been secured by what the Bible says.
This is why Hebrews 4:12 is so important here.
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (KJV).
The Word of God does not come merely to comfort the flesh. It comes to pierce. It comes to divide. It comes to expose. It comes to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.
In other words, truth does not merely tell you what is wrong outside you. It reveals what is wrong in you. It shows you where your desires are mixed, where your motives are impure, where self is still alive, and where your heart is resisting God.
That is why truth will not always make you feel comfortable. Truth is not given to pamper the flesh. It is given to crucify it!!
Truth does not stroke ambition. It confronts it!!
Truth does not excuse selfish desires. It exposes them!!!
Truth does not help you keep your idols. It tears them down!!!
So when a message, teaching, idea, or counsel keeps making your flesh feel safe while leaving your rebellion untouched, you must check it well.
A lie often feels pleasant because it agrees with what the flesh already wants. It tells a woman she can hold on to self and still please God.
It tells her she can disobey Scripture and still call it wisdom.
It tells her she can reject God’s pattern and still remain spiritually sound. That is not truth. It is lies.
So to gird yourself with the belt of truth means you must become a woman who loves the cutting edge of God’s Word.
You must be willing for the truth to search you, wound your pride, expose your motives, and correct your path.
You must stop asking only, “Does this sound nice?” or “Does this feel good?” and begin asking, “Is this what God has said?” “Does this agree with the Scriptures?” “Does this lead me into obedience or into self?”
If it soothes your selfish ambition, check it well. If it feeds self-preservation, check it well. If it gives you permission to live contrary to the clear teaching of the Scriptures, it is not the truth. It is a lie, no matter how pleasant it sounds.

2. Guard Your Heart
To guard your heart is to understand that your life will always flow in the direction of your heart.
The Scriptures say that out of it are the issues of life. That means your decisions, your desires, your reactions, your convictions, and even your direction as a woman are all shaped from within.
This is where the breastplate of righteousness comes in.
The breastplate protects the vital organs, especially the heart. In the same way, righteousness is what guards your inner life. It is what keeps your heart from being penetrated, corrupted, or weakened by what is around you.
If your heart is left unguarded, it will absorb whatever it is exposed to. What you watch, what you listen to, what you read, and what you entertain will not remain outside you. They will settle within you. And once they settle, they begin to shape how you think, how you feel, and how you respond. That is how corruption quietly enters your inside.
This is why the instruction is not just to avoid evil, but to deliberately fill your heart with what is right.
The Bible says in Philippians 4:8 that you must think on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and worthy of praise. This is not passive. It is intentional. It is a discipline.
A Biblical woman does not leave her thoughts to wander. She trains them. She does not allow every idea to settle. She filters them. She does not entertain everything she hears or sees. She judges them by the Word of God.
Guarding your heart means you become watchful. When something enters your ears or your eyes, you do not just receive it. You weigh it. You ask if it aligns with the Scriptures. You ask what it is producing in your heart. You ask whether it is drawing you closer to obedience or gently pulling you away.
When you can avoid corrupt influences, you avoid them. That is wisdom. But when you cannot avoid them, you do not allow them to take root. You counter them. You correct them within. You train your thoughts to return to what is true. You bring your mind back under the authority of God’s Word.
So if you will live Biblically as a woman, you must not take your heart lightly. You must guard it deliberately, consistently, and with understanding.
3. Search Your Heart Constantly
There are moments when you make decisions without thinking deeply, speak carelessly, or commit to things without checking with the Holy Spirit.
These things may seem small, but if they are not dealt with quickly, they begin to dull your sensitivity.
Over time, your heart becomes less responsive, and you may continue thinking you are aligned when you are already drifting.
That is why this must be intentional. You must continually bring yourself under the searching light of God. You must allow the Word to examine you. Not just your actions, but your thoughts, your motives, your intentions.
The Bible says in Psalm 139:23–24:
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test my thoughts. Point out anything you find in me that makes you sad, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
This is the posture of a woman who desires to remain aligned. She does not defend herself before God. She opens herself. She invites correction. She is quick to repent. She does not allow anything to remain hidden.
If we do not quickly purge ourselves of these things, we may not even know it. We may think we are standing right, but the accuser has found something against us. Hence, like the Psalmist, this must be the content of our prayers. The Bible says in Psalm 139:23–24:
4. Let Your Heart Rejoice Always
Joy is not optional in this walk. It is strength. Without it, you will not last, dear sisters.
If joy is absent, everything will begin to feel heavy. What should be service will feel like burden. What should be submission will feel like oppression. What should be love will feel like duty. And slowly, resistance will grow within.
This is how rebellion begins. It does not start loudly. It starts quietly, with weariness, with complaint, with loss of delight. Then it takes root.
That is why the Bible says to rejoice always. This is not because circumstances are always easy, but because your strength is not coming from circumstances. It is coming from the presence of God.
The Bible says in Nehemiah 8:10 that the joy of the Lord is your strength. It also says in Philippians 4:13 that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. And Psalm 16:11 makes it clear where that joy is found:
You reveal the path of life to me; in your presence is abundant joy; at your right hand are eternal pleasures.
Joy flows from His presence. When you remain there, you are strengthened. When you step away, strength begins to fade.
A joyful heart is a fortified heart. It is a heart that can endure, continue, and remain faithful.
5. Put on the Whole Armour of God
If you will live as a Biblical woman, you must understand that you are not walking on neutral ground. There is active resistance, sis! The enemy does not ignore a woman who is determined to live out the Word of God. He studies, he observes, he looks for openings, and he raises accusations.
That is why you must be fully equipped.
Fully.
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:3–6:
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage battle according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying arguments and all arrogance raised against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.
The Bible says our warfare is not according to the flesh. That means your greatest battles will not always look physical. They will come through thoughts, pressures, conversations, culture, emotions, and subtle suggestions. If you are not armed, you will not even recognize when you are under attack.
To put on the whole armour of God is to live consciously guarded and prepared. It is to ensure that your mind is protected, your heart is preserved, your steps are steady, your faith is active, and the Word of God is alive in you. It is to refuse to leave any area of your life exposed.
You must understand that standing is not automatic. If a sister is standing well, it is because she is clothed well.
Standing requires that you are clothed properly!
When the enemy comes with arguments, with lies, with pressure to conform, you must be able to withstand and remain unmoved.
This is the posture of a woman who is armed. She does not entertain every thought. She does not bow to every pressure. She brings everything under the authority of Christ.
To put on the whole armour of God, then, is to live deliberately, not loosely. It is to refuse to be spiritually exposed. It is to remain watchful, grounded in the Word, and ready to stand at all times.
A woman who is fully armed may be opposed, but she will not be easily overthrown!!! Having done all, she will stand!

I silence every voice that speaks contrary to Your truth over my life. I choose the narrow path. I choose to be different. I choose to stand. Oh, having done all, I stand in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Father, I receive a heart that loves truth. Let Your Word pierce me. Let it cut through every ambition, every desire, every emotion that is not of You. In the Mighty Name of Jesus.

I reject every sweet lie. I reject every doctrine that pampers the flesh. I reject every voice that calls evil good and good evil. You shall not prevail over me in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
(Place your hand on your heart and cry:) Oh my soul, I command you, hate iniquity! I command the hatred for iniquity, big and small, visible and invisible to overwhelm my soul now in the Name of Jesus!
Oh Lord, establish me in Truth. Root me deeply in Your Word from this day forward in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Lord, guard my heart. I take authority over what enters my heart through my eyes, my ears, and my thoughts. I refuse corruption. I refuse pollution. I fix my mind on what is true, pure, and pleasing to You from this day forward in Jesus Name.
Let my heart become a dwelling place for Your Spirit, oh my Lord. A place where Your will is formed and carried out, in the glorious Name of Jesus.
Father, I receive grace to walk in obedience. I die to myself. I die to my will. I die to my ambitions. Let Christ be formed in me. Let my life become a living expression of Biblical womanhood. Teach me submission that is pure, service that is joyful, and love that is sincere. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
Lord, I receive Your joy. I refuse to walk this path with heaviness. I silence every seed of grumbling and complaint. Fill me with the joy of Your presence. Let Your joy become my strength. Let me serve You with gladness, not as a burden, but as a delight in Jesus’ Name.
Father, I put on the whole armour of God. I cover my mind with the helmet of salvation. I guard my heart with the breastplate of righteousness. I take up the shield of faith and I quench every fiery dart of the enemy. I hold firmly to the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. I stand, and I will not fall. I declare in Jesus Name.
Every scheme of the enemy against my life as a woman, I resist you. Every plan to weaken my resolve, to draw me back into the world, to make me compromise, I reject you. I will not bow. I will not turn back. I will not be counted among those who draw back to perdition. In the mighty Name of Jesus.
Father, raise me as a woman after Your heart. Let my life bring You pleasure. Let my obedience silence the enemy. Let my submission speak loudly in the spirit. Let my home, my words, my actions become a testimony of Your truth.
I receive grace to endure. I receive strength to continue. I receive boldness to stand alone if I must. And I receive discernment to walk with those You have appointed for my journey in life in Jesus Name.
I am Yours, Lord. Fully Yours. I declare myself all yours!
In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Praying for the African Nations
This month, we have been praying for Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Niger, and Cape Verde, and today we are wrapping it up. The Lord has given us a mandate to stand in the gap for Africa, and this is something we must take seriously.
So as a family, let us lift our voices together and pray with faith. Let us call on God for these nations, trusting that He hears us and that His will will be done.
1 Timothy 2:1–2
The Bible says that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Niger, and Cape Verde, I declare that the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. Let the King of Glory walk through your lands. Let every gate, every city, every government, and every institution be opened to Him now in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
The Bible says in Psalm 22:28 that dominion belongs to the Lord and He rules over the nations.
Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Niger, and Cape Verde, I declare that dominion belongs to the Lord over you. Let Jesus Christ take possession of your governments, your institutions, and your systems. Let His rule be established over your leadership and your future.
Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Niger, and Cape Verde, I declare that every work of darkness within you is scattered. Let every hidden agenda of darkness be exposed. Let the counsel of the Lord alone stand in your lands.
Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Niger, and Cape Verde, I declare peace over you. Let terrorism, violence, and bloodshed come to an end. Let unrest and instability be silenced. Let divine order be established within your borders.
The Bible says in John 1:5 that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Niger, and Cape Verde, I declare that the light of God shines across you. Let every darkness give way. Let the knowledge of God fill your lands. Let His name be exalted in every place.
Father, let Your will be done in Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Niger, and Cape Verde. Let Your kingdom come and let Your glory be revealed. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
