DAY 3: WHY SATAN ALWAYS INTERCEPTS THE JOURNEY TO LIFE
JUICY JULY 2026: ZOE UNLEASHED!
TEXT: GENESIS 3:1–7; ISAIAH 14:12–15; EZEKIEL 28:12–17
BIBLE STUDY: MATTHEW 3
Welcome to Juicy July 2026, Day 3!
Over the past two days, the Lord has been taking us back to the very beginning.
On Day 1, we discovered that God created within man a unique vessel, a vessel unlike anything else in creation. And we saw that God never creates a vessel without already preparing what will fill it.
Then yesterday, we followed that journey into the Garden of Eden. We discovered that the Tree of Life was not an ordinary tree, but God’s invitation into His own Life. Yet before man could partake of that Life, another voice entered the Garden. The journey was interrupted. The way was shut. And mankind began a long history of living outside the very Life for which he had been created.
But have you ever wondered why all of that happened so quickly?
Why did Satan appear almost immediately?
Why was he in such a hurry to stop man?
What exactly was he so afraid of?
Those are the questions we shall begin to answer today.
Before we begin, let us ask the Holy Spirit to open our eyes once again. May He grant us understanding, unveil His Word to our hearts, and reveal Christ to us as never before. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Let us take our eye-washing, mind-delivering, soul-humbling, spirit-crying song again, passionately. This will become our beginning anthem until it breaks forth alive in you. Pray as you sing passionately.

YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN
Before You Continue…
One very important note.
We must not make the costly assumption that everyone reading this bulletin has already been born again.
The Zoe we are talking about throughout this month is first received at the new birth. Before we talk about its manifestation, we must first be sure we have received it.
If you have never truly surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, or you are unsure of your salvation, we encourage you to prayerfully read the article here before proceeding.
OPENING PRAYER
Father, thank You for bringing me into another day of this glorious journey. Open the eyes of my understanding today. Remove every veil from my heart, and let me see Your truth as You desire me to see it. Let Your Word become life to me, not just knowledge. Teach me by Your Holy Spirit, and let the life of Christ become more real to me than ever before. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
EXHORTATION: WHY SATAN ALWAYS INTERCEPTS THE JOURNEY TO LIFE
Memory Verse:
“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”- 1 John 2:16
Adam had only just been created. Eve had only just been formed. The world was still perfect. There were no kingdoms to conquer, no cities to corrupt, no murder, no adultery, no violence, no idolatry, nothing. Everything God had made was still “very good.”
Yet almost immediately, Satan appeared. Why? Why was he in such a hurry? Why didn’t he wait for Adam to grow older? Why didn’t he allow mankind to multiply first? Why did he consider it so urgent to enter the Garden before anything else happened?
I don’t believe that was accidental. Neither do I believe it was simply because Satan delights in doing evil. There was something he saw! Something that made him move immediately. Something that stirred a deep jealousy within him.
Remember who Lucifer was. He had been clothed with precious stones. He had walked in the holy mountain of God. He had stood in the very presence of unimaginable glory. If you were to compare him with Adam outwardly, Lucifer appeared far more glorious. Adam was formed from ordinary dust, common earth. There was nothing outwardly impressive about him.
Yet God did something He had never done before. He bent down over that ordinary dust, formed him with His hands…and breathed into it.
Then He began to walk with this man. He planted a garden for him. He gave him dominion. He prepared the Tree of Life for him.
Can you imagine what that must have looked like to Lucifer?
The very fellowship he had thrown away! The very Life he had rejected! The very privilege he had lost through pride…God was now preparing to give it to a creature made from dust!
Oh, that must have provoked something terrible within him. Evil jealousy. Burning hatred. Resentment.
How could ordinary dust receive what he had forfeited? How could man become the object of such divine affection? How could God choose to pour Himself into a vessel of clay?
My sisters, I believe that was what ignited the serpent’s haste. He had already lost everything through rebellion. Now he was determined that man would lose everything through the very same rebellion.
The poison that had destroyed him…He immediately carried into the Garden! Ayaaaa.
Can you imagine the questions that must have begun to fill Satan’s mind?
“Why is God giving so much attention to these creatures?”
“Why is He walking with them?”
“Why has He planted that Tree?”
“What is He preparing them for?”
Satan knew enough about God to understand one thing:
God never prepares without purpose.
If God had created a vessel, then something glorious was about to fill it! He knew!
If God had created a vessel, then something glorious was about to fill it. Satan knew that.
He knew the holiness of God. He knew the purity of God. He knew that God could never fellowship with rebellion. After all, he had experienced it himself. The day pride entered his heart, he lost everything.
He was cast down. He lost the privilege of God’s presence. He lost the glory he once carried. He knew exactly what disobedience could cost.
So when he saw man standing before the Tree of Life, he understood something Adam did not yet understand.
“If these people continue obeying God… if they continue walking with Him… if they enter into that Life… there will be no telling what they will become.”
He could not allow that to happen. But neither could he stop God’s plan by force. So he did the only thing he knew.
He introduced the very poison that had destroyed him!
Rebellion! Independence! Distrust.
He whispered into the ears of those who had never known evil and invited them to join him in the very same path that had brought him under judgment.
In a sense, Satan was saying,
“If I have fallen, you will fall too.”
“If I have lost the presence of God, you will lose it too.”
“If I cannot partake of His Life, neither will you.”
That is why the temptation in Eden was much more than eating a forbidden fruit.
It was an invitation to share in Lucifer’s own rebellion.
And tragically, humanity accepted it!
Satan Was Fighting What Man Would Become
My sisters, I want you to understand something that has changed the way I look at temptations.
Satan has never been primarily afraid of where you are today. He is afraid of what you will become if you continue with God.
He sees the seed before you see the tree. He sees the harvest while you are still looking at the soil. He sees tomorrow while you are still discouraged about today.
Many of us think the devil attacks us because we are already great. No. Very often, he attacks because he can see what the grace of God is making us.
He knows that if you keep saying “Yes” to God…If you keep obeying…If you keep fellowshipping with Him…If you keep feeding on His Life…You will not remain the same person!!!!
Christ will begin to be formed in you.
The life of God will begin to spread through every part of your being. Darkness will lose ground. Light will increase. The Kingdom of God will gain expression through your life.
That is what terrifies him!
The tragedy is that many believers think Satan is fighting their job, their marriage, their finances, or their ministry.
Those may be the battlefields. But they are rarely the real target. The real target is always becoming!
He wants to stop you from becoming the person God has ordained you to be.
He wants to stop Christ from being fully formed in you.
He wants to stop Zoe from finding full expression through your life.
That is why his attacks often intensify just before seasons of growth, deeper consecration, greater revelation, or divine promotion.
He is not merely reacting to who you are. He is reacting to who you are becoming!
And once you understand that, you stop seeing temptations as random events. You begin to recognize them for what they really are.
They are attempts to interrupt your journey into the fullness of God’s Life!!!
Satan Has Always Fought Becoming
If what we have just seen is true, then we should expect to find the same pattern throughout the Scriptures. And that is exactly what we find.
The devil has always fought becoming!
He attacks before the manifestation. He attacks while the seed is still hidden. He attacks before the promise comes to pass. He attacks because he is terrified of what the life of God can produce in a yielded vessel.
Look at Cain and Abel. Why did Cain suddenly hate his own brother? Was it simply because of an offering?
No!
The devil could already see where that righteous line was leading. Through that line would eventually come the promised Seed who would crush the serpent’s head. So before God’s purpose could unfold, murder was introduced! He was trying to stop becoming.
Look at Joseph. A young man receives dreams from God. Dreams that Abraham had and came to pass, that Isaac and Jacob also had and received their manifestations? Ah!
Before those dreams could unfold, what happened?
Hatred. Jealousy. A pit. Slavery. False accusation. Prison.
Do you think all those events were random?
No.
The devil was terrified of what Joseph would become.
He knew that if Joseph reached the throne God had prepared for him, nations would be preserved, lives would be saved, and God’s covenant purposes would continue. So he attacked him long before the palace.
Then look at Samson.
His birth was announced by an angel. Before he was even born, Heaven had already declared that he would begin to deliver Israel. Don’t you think Satan heard that? Of course he did.
And how did he fight Samson? He did not begin with war. He began with lust.
He knew that if he could capture Samson’s appetites, he could imprison Samson’s destiny!
The strongest man in Israel was finally defeated, not because God failed him, but because he repeatedly yielded to the very thing Satan used to stop his becoming.
What of Esau? The firstborn?
The birthright belonged to him. Yet Satan found another doorway.
Food!
One meal!
One moment of uncontrolled appetite.
One decision that exchanged eternal inheritance for temporary satisfaction.
Again, the battle was not about food. It was about becoming!
Then the promised Seed Himself arrived: Jesus Christ.
Have you noticed that Satan did not wait until Jesus had finished His ministry?
He attacked almost immediately He was starting!!!!! Ayaaaaa
When the wise men came searching for the newborn King, Herod issued a decree to kill every male child in Bethlehem.
Do you think that was merely political?
No.
Satan knew the time had come.
He knew the Seed had arrived.
He was afraid of what that Child would become.
When that failed, he waited.
Then, immediately after the Father publicly declared,
“This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased,”
the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness.
And who was waiting there?
Satan. Again!
Not because Jesus had already healed the sick. Not because He had already raised the dead. Not because He had already gone to the Cross. But because Satan was scared if this one is that seed!
Can you see the pattern now?
The devil attacks before fulfillment!
He attacks before manifestation.
He attacks before becoming.
And my dear sister, he has not changed.
If he is fighting you today…If he is resisting your growth…If he is constantly trying to distract you from the presence of God…If he keeps placing temptations, discouragements, fears, pleasures, and distractions before you…
Perhaps you should stop asking,
“Why is all this happening to me?”
Perhaps the better question is,
“What has God destined me to become that Satan is so desperate to stop?”
Because one thing is certain. The enemy has never been afraid of ordinary people! He is afraid of ordinary people who refuse to let go of God until His Life is fully formed within them!
Satan Never Changed His Strategy
Now let us go back to the Garden one more time.
Have you ever noticed that Satan is actually very predictable? He may change the packaging. He may change the generation. He may change the circumstances.
But he never really changes his strategy!
The Apostle John gives us a remarkable insight.
He says,
“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” – 1 John 2:16
Now go back to Eden.
Read the temptation carefully.
“And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food…”
There it is.
The lust of the flesh!
Her natural desires were awakened. The fruit looked as though it could satisfy an appetite.
Then the Bible continues.
“…and that it was pleasant to the eyes…”
There is the second one.
The lust of the eyes.
It was attractive. Beautiful. Captivating. The eyes became the doorway.
Then finally,
“…and a tree to be desired to make one wise…”
There it is again.
The pride of life.
“You will become.”
“You will be something.”
“You will rise higher.”
“You will no longer need to depend upon God.”
Can you see it now? The devil has never needed another strategy. He succeeded once. He simply keeps repeating it.
But there is something even more astonishing for me!
Think carefully about what he actually said.
“Ye shall be as gods…”
Isn’t that amazing?
That was the temptation!!!!
“You shall be like God.”
But excuse me…
Hadn’t God already made them like Himself?
Go back to Genesis chapter one.
“Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…”
They already bore His image.
They already carried His likeness.
They already possessed what Satan was promising them.
The serpent did not offer them something God had withheld. He offered them something God had already given!!!
The only difference was this:
God intended them to enjoy His likeness through continual dependence upon Him. Satan offered them the same likeness through independence from Him!
Can you see the deception?
The issue was never becoming like God. The issue was how.
God said, “Walk with Me.”
“Trust Me.”
“Depend upon Me.”
“Receive Life from Me.”
Satan said,
“You don’t need Him.”
“You can become by yourself.”
“You can arrive without dependence.”
“You can be your own source.”
My sisters, that is still the greatest lie in the world today!!!
“Be yourself.”
“Follow your heart.”
“Speak your truth.”
“Do whatever makes you happy.”
“Become whoever you want to become.”
Those statements sound motivational. They sound liberating. Sadly, many Christians even repeat them today as though they were profound spiritual revelations. They do not realize they have embraced the oldest lie ever told.
Life without God.
Identity without God.
Purpose without God.
Greatness without God.
And every time man embraces that lie, the result is always the same.
Death!
Now, I know what some of us may be thinking.
“But everything I do is for God.”
“I preach for God.”
“I sing for God.”
“I serve in church.”
“I pray.”
“I fast.”
“I even cast out demons in Jesus’ Name.”
My sister, that is not the question.
We are not talking about doing things for God. We are talking about whether those things are coming from God.
There is a world of difference.
Jesus Himself said that there would be people who would prophesy in His Name, cast out devils in His Name, and do many wonderful works in His Name. Yet He would say to them,
“I never knew you.” (Matthew 7:22–23)
Notice that He did not deny their works.
He only questioned the relationship!
He questioned the source!
This whole journey is not about attaching the Name of Jesus to our own ambitions. It is about yielding so completely to Him that our lives begin to flow out of His Life.
That is what Adam lost. That is what Christ came to restore.
The tragedy of much of modern Christianity is not that we have stopped doing things for God. Ah, we even have a surge in the number of people ‘doing things for God’ these days.
It is that we have become comfortable doing many things without depending upon His Life!
We make decisions and ask God to bless them.
We choose our own paths and ask Him to approve them.
We build according to our own wisdom and sprinkle a few prayers over it.
We call it ministry.
We call it purpose.
We call it service.
But Heaven is asking a different question:
Did it originate in Me?
Did it flow out of fellowship?
Did it come from My heart?
Was it born in My presence?
Or was it simply a good idea with My Name attached to it?
This is why the Scriptures place such emphasis on abiding.
Jesus did not say: “Without Me you can do only a little.”
He said,
“Without me ye can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
Nothing that carries eternal value can exist independently of Him!
Nothing that truly manifests Zoe originates in the bios or psuche!
Everything that bears the fragrance of Heaven begins in fellowship! It is conceived in intimacy. It grows through obedience. And it is manifested by the Life of God.
My dear sisters, let us be careful not to baptize our own desires with the Name of Jesus. Let us become women whose lives do not merely carry His Name, but truly flow from His Life.
So, back to Lucifer.
His great corruption was not immorality. It was independence.
“I will ascend.”
“I will exalt my throne.”
“I will be like the Most High.”
Now look at what he does.
He takes the very poison that destroyed him…And offers it to Adam and Eve. He reproduces his own rebellion.
The tragedy is that Adam and Eve reached for something they already possessed. Ignorance made them pursue independently what God had already given them by grace.
And my dear sisters, Satan is still doing exactly the same thing today.
He spends every day trying to convince believers to chase outside themselves what Christ has already deposited within them.
He tells them to strive for significance when they are already accepted in the Beloved.
He tells them to search for identity when they have already become children of God.
He tells them to pursue life everywhere else when the very Life of God has already been planted within their spirits.
That is why ignorance is so dangerous. Because an ignorant believer will spend his whole life trying to become what God has already made possible through Christ.
The Flesh: Satan’s Operational Base
Now let us go one step further.
If Satan has been using the same strategy from the Garden until today, how does he keep gaining access to people’s lives?
How does he continue to hold believers captive?
The answer is what the Bible calls the flesh.
The flesh is much more than this physical body. It is that fallen principle within man that continually seeks to live independently of God. It is the part of us that insists, “I know what is best. I will satisfy myself. I will have my own way.”
Flesh was born immediately man fell!
Adam and Eve chose independence over dependence and from that moment onward, the flesh became fertile ground for Satan’s operations!
Look at this, sisters:
When God works in a man, the result is the fruit of the Spirit.
When Satan works in a man, the result is the works of the flesh.
When Satan finds a man walking in the flesh, he finds something he can continually work with! It becomes his operational base. His feeding ground.
No wonder because the Lord had said to the serpent,
“Dust thou shalt eat all the days of thy life.” (Genesis 3:14)
What was man made from?
Dust.
The devil feeds on everything that belongs to the fallen man!
Wherever the flesh is allowed to reign, Satan finds something to work with but wherever a believer walks in the Spirit, Satan begins to lose his influence be it in your marriage, in your health, your relationships, your spiritual life…
This is why the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit stand in complete opposition to one another.
One gives the enemy room. The other gives Christ expression.
Now think about all the examples we have considered.
With Esau, Satan found an appetite.
With Samson, he found lust.
With Cain, he found jealousy.
With Saul, he found pride.
With Judas, he found greed.
Different people.
Different generations.
Different stories.
But the same operational base.
The flesh!
That is why our battle is much deeper than merely trying to become better people.
God is not asking us to manage the flesh.
He calls us to crucify it.
The flesh can never be improved.
It cannot be educated into holiness.
It cannot be prayed into spirituality.
It cannot be disciplined into becoming Zoe.
It must die daily!
This is why Jesus said,
“If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” (Luke 9:23)
Notice that word: daily.
This is not a one-time victory.
Every single day, we are presented with the same choice Adam faced in the Garden.
Will I live from myself?
Or will I live from God?
Will I satisfy the flesh?
Or will I yield to the Spirit?
Every act of obedience weakens the grip of the flesh and gives more room for the life of God to be expressed through us.
Every act of surrender is another step in becoming what God has always intended us to become.
And that, my dear sisters, is exactly why Satan fights so relentlessly.
He knows that every time you say “yes” to God and “no” to the flesh, another part of Christ is formed in you! Another measure of Zoe is unveiled! Another victory is won. And his kingdom loses ground!
The Devil Is Not Afraid of You. He Is Afraid of Zoe.
Now, after everything we have seen today, one thing should become very clear.
The devil is not afraid of human intelligence. He is not afraid of education. He is not afraid of money. He is not afraid of talent. He is not even afraid of religion.
He has lived through every civilization. He has watched empires rise and fall. He has seen brilliant minds, mighty armies, influential leaders, and gifted speakers. None of those things frighten him.
Do you know what frightens him?
The life of God finding full expression in a human vessel.
That is what he tried to stop in Eden!
That is what he tried to stop in Joseph.
That is what he tried to stop in Samson.
That is what he tried to stop in Jesus.
And that is what he is trying to stop in you!!!!!
Please don’t misunderstand me. Satan is not running around because he thinks you are naturally extraordinary. No!
He is afraid because he knows what God can do in a life that is completely yielded to Him!
He knows what happens when a man stops living by the flesh and begins to live by the Spirit.
He knows what happens when Christ is formed in a believer.
He knows what happens when Zoe begins to overflow.
That is why he works so tirelessly to keep us distracted, offended, proud, lustful, fearful, discouraged, addicted, prayerless, busy, and spiritually dull. He knows that every one of those things keeps us living from the flesh instead of from the Life of God.
But here is the good news.
Satan does not have the final word!
The same God who breathed into Adam has not abandoned His purpose!
The Life he tried to prevent…The Life he tried to interrupt…The Life he tried to keep from mankind… God has determined to restore through His Son.
That is why we must never settle for merely surviving as Christians.
We must become!
Shout it loud, sis:
I MUST BECOME!
Shout it again with all your heart:
WHETHER THE DEVIL LIKES IT OR NOT, I WILL BECOME EVERYTHING THE LORD INTENDED ME TO BE!
Amen!
So shall it be in Jesus’ Name.
But let me lovingly remind you of something.
It is not enough to declare it.
Declarations are powerful. They align our hearts with God’s purpose. They strengthen our faith. They remind us of what God has spoken.
In fact, one of the subtle dangers of modern Christianity is that we have sometimes elevated affirmations and confessions as though they were the whole Christian life.
We declare. We confess. We speak. We decree. And all of those things have their proper place.
But if our declarations are not followed by daily obedience, daily surrender, daily dependence upon the Holy Spirit, and a willingness to pass God’s tests, they become nothing more than beautiful words.
God has never been looking merely for people who can say the right things. He is looking for people who will obey Him.
Adam did not fail because he confessed the wrong thing. He failed because, when the test came, he chose another voice.
Jesus did not overcome the wilderness because He merely quoted Scripture. He overcame because His heart was completely yielded to His Father. Every Scripture He spoke flowed from a life of perfect obedience to God and disobedience to Satan!
My dear sister, don’t let your Christianity stop at your mouth. Let it reach your heart. Let it govern your choices. Let it shape your responses. Let it determine your obedience when no one is watching.
The true measure of faith is not merely what we declare before the battle, but how we respond when the battle arrives. That is where becoming takes place.
Adam had a declaration from God. Joseph had dreams from God. Samson had a prophetic destiny spoken over his life before he was born.
Jesus Himself had the Father publicly declare,
“This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Yet every one of them still had to face a test.
That is the way of God.
Your confession will be tested. Your obedience will be tested. Your love for God will be tested. Your dependence upon Him will be tested.
Just as Adam stood before two trees, there will be moments when you too will stand before your own “two trees.” One will invite you to trust God. The other will invite you to trust yourself.
Like Joseph, you may one day stand before your own Potiphar’s wife.
Like David, you may stand before your own Goliath.
Like Samson, you may meet your own Delilah.
Like Esau, you may be asked to exchange something eternal for something that satisfies you only for a moment.
Like Jesus, you will have your own wilderness.
And yes, Satan will come. He always comes.
But this time, you are not ignorant.
Adam did not fully understand what was at stake. You do.
You now know that every temptation is more than a temptation. It is an attempt to interrupt your becoming! It is an attempt to keep the Life of God from finding fuller expression through you.
That knowledge should not make you afraid. It should make you watchful. It should make you prayerful. It should make you cling more tightly to your Father.
So when your own test comes, and it will come, don’t be surprised.
Remember this day. Remember the Garden. Remember Joseph. Remember Jesus.
And remember that every victory over temptation is another step toward becoming everything God created you to be.
My dear sister, don’t just make the declaration today. Live it tomorrow. And the next day. And after Juicy July. And every day thereafter. By the grace of God, you will become. I will become!
So, my dear sister, never despise small beginnings in your walk with God!!!
The devil certainly doesn’t.
He knows what a yielded vessel can become after one year… five years… ten years… of abiding in Christ.
So should you!
Let this be your determination from today:
I will not allow the enemy to interrupt what God has begun in me.
I will keep walking with my Father. I will keep saying “yes” to His Word. I will keep choosing Life. And by His grace, I will become everything He created me to be.
Tomorrow, we shall discover the greatest news of all.
The journey that Satan interrupted did not end in Eden.
God Himself made a New and Living Way.
And through Jesus Christ, the way back to the Tree of Life has been gloriously reopened.
Satan Believe the Word of God So Much He Trembles!
My dear sisters, there is something else I want you to understand. Satan believes the Word of God more than many believers do.
Oh yes! He believes it.
He knows that if God has spoken it, it will happen.
That is why he trembles.
That is why he moves so quickly.
That is why he fights so fiercely.
Sometimes we read the promises of God and quietly think, “Maybe that is for somebody else. I don’t think God can use me like that.”
Satan doesn’t think that way.
He believes you can become exactly what God says you can become.
He believes Christ can truly be formed in you.
He believes you can become a mighty woman of prayer.
He believes you can become a mother of nations.
He believes you can raise children who shake their generation.
He believes your home can become a sanctuary where the presence of God dwells.
He believes your marriage can become a testimony of Christ and His Church.
He believes your business can become a channel through which the Kingdom of God is financed.
He believes your ministry can become a terror to the kingdom of darkness.
He believes all of those things.
The question is…
Do you?
Look carefully at your own life.
Why do you think the enemy fights marriages so relentlessly?
Why does he work so hard to introduce pride, offence, unforgiveness, comparison, selfishness, and rebellion between husbands and wives?
Because he has read the Scriptures.
He knows that “two are better than one.”
He knows that “one shall chase a thousand, and two shall put ten thousand to flight.”
He knows there is a multiplication of authority when a husband and wife walk together in God.
He knows what your family can become if both of you are fully yielded to Christ.
So he fights it!
Why does he attack your children?
Because he knows what they can become.
Why does he attack your finances?
Because he knows what God can do through a generous, surrendered steward.
Why does he attack your prayer life?
Because he knows what happens when a woman truly learns to touch God. Ayaaaaa!
Why does he attack your time in the Word?
Because he knows that faith comes by hearing, and that every revelation of Christ causes His Life to grow within you.
My sister, the devil is not wasting his energy!
Every battle he brings your way is telling you something. Every fierce attack against you is revealing something.
He is fighting, not merely because of where you are today, but because of what the God says you can become tomorrow.
So stop measuring yourself by what you see today. Measure yourself by what God has spoken concerning you!
Because if Satan believes the promises of God concerning your life enough to fight you over them…You should believe them enough to contend for them.
Don’t Let the Journey Be Interrupted Again
My dear sister, after everything we have seen today, I want to leave you with one earnest appeal.
Don’t let the journey be interrupted again!
Many of us read the story of Adam and Eve and shake our heads, wondering how they could have listened to another voice so quickly. Yet if we are honest with ourselves, we face the very same choice every single day.
Every day, there is the voice of the Father. Every day, there is another voice.
Every day, there is an invitation to dependence. Every day, there is an invitation to independence.
Every day, there is a choice between Life and self.
The battle has never changed!
Please don’t underestimate the subtlety of the enemy. Very rarely does he come announcing himself. He comes with what looks reasonable. He comes with what feels good. He comes with what seems urgent. He comes with what appears harmless. He comes with what promises quick satisfaction. Above all, he comes with suggestions that quietly move your heart away from simple obedience to God.
That is why your greatest protection is not merely knowing many Scriptures. Your greatest protection is remaining close to the Father. Stay where His voice is clear. Stay where your heart is tender. Stay where obedience is simple. Stay where Christ remains your greatest delight.
Don’t ever become so familiar with spiritual things that you stop depending on Him. Don’t become confident in your experience, your knowledge, your gifting, or even your years as a Christian.
Lucifer fell from the very presence of God because independence entered his heart!
Adam fell because independence entered his heart.
Let us never imagine that we are beyond the need for daily dependence upon our Father.
Remember this: Satan cannot create Life. All he can do is try to interrupt it. He cannot produce Zoe. He can only distract you from it. He cannot overcome the Life of God. He can only persuade you to stop abiding in the One who is Life.
So make up your mind today.
“I will not be hurried away from Life.”
“I will not be seduced away from simple obedience.”
“I will not exchange God’s eternal purpose for temporary pleasure.”
“I will not allow the enemy to rob me of what I am becoming in Christ.”
The journey that began the day you received Jesus Christ is far too precious to abandon halfway.
Walk on.
Abide.
Obey.
Become.
The Father is not merely preparing you for Heaven. He is preparing to reveal His Son through you here!
May that become your testimony, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Prayer
Father, thank You for opening my eyes today. Thank You for exposing the enemy’s devices and reminding me of Your purpose for my life. Keep me close to You. Strengthen me to overcome every temptation and every distraction. Let nothing interrupt what You are doing in me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
SONG FOR TODAY
Before we pray, let us first lift our voices in faith and confidence. No matter what the enemy may try, he has never been able to frustrate God’s ultimate purpose. As we sing, let your heart be strengthened and your faith stirred, so that when we come before the Lord in prayer, we do so from a place of authority, confidence, and full assurance in Christ.

STIRRING THE WATERS
Dear sister, it is that special moment. Take the next 10 minutes to stir the waters by praying in the Holy Ghost. Gladly embrace this sacred pause. Let the instrumental below play as you lift your voice in prayer. Do not rush. Pray until your spirit is refreshed and your heart is stirred.
This is Father to daughter.
This is Spirit to spirit.
Yield yourself completely to Him.
If you have not yet received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, this is your moment. Cry out to your loving Father with all your heart:
“Father, fill me! Baptize me! Immerse me in Your Spirit! I need You for life. Holy Spirit, come. Baptize me with the Holy Ghost, and Father, please grant me another Pentecost, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
Let’s start stirring.
TAKE CHARGE
- Father, in the mighty Name of Jesus, I present myself before You today. I sanctify my spirit, my soul, my body, my home, and this entire atmosphere unto You. Let every part of me and every space around me come under the government of the Holy Spirit.
- By the precious blood of Jesus, I declare that this atmosphere belongs to the Kingdom of God. I establish the Lordship of Jesus Christ over this place. Let every power, every influence, every imagination, every distraction, and every operation of darkness be silenced and brought into absolute submission to the authority of Christ.
- I declare that I am a vessel of the living God. My spirit is open to Heaven alone. My ears are open to hear. My eyes are open to see. My heart is soft and ready to receive. Every veil over my understanding is removed in the Name of Jesus. Every resistance to the working of the Holy Spirit is broken.
- Father, breathe upon me afresh. Let Your Zoe arise within me. Let every dead place receive Your life. Let every weary place receive Your strength. Let every dark place be flooded with Your light. Let everything in me that is not of Christ bow before the power of Your indestructible life.
- I command every strange spirit, every demonic presence, every satanic interference, every spirit of heaviness, confusion, fear, distraction, slumber, deception, oppression, and resistance to the Word of God to leave this atmosphere now, in the mighty Name of Jesus. You have no place here. Jesus Christ is Lord over this home, this room, this meeting, and my life.
- I release the rivers of living water from within my spirit to flow freely throughout this atmosphere. Let the presence of God fill this place. Let the ministry of angels prevail. Let the voice of the Holy Spirit be loud and clear. Let Heaven invade this atmosphere.
- Today, I take my place as a son of God, a temple of the Holy Spirit, and a carrier of the life of God. I refuse every distraction. I refuse every condemnation. I refuse every limitation. My heart is fixed on Christ, and I receive all that the Father has prepared for me today.
- Father, take absolute charge. Glorify Your Son. Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your will be done in me and through me. Let Zoe be unleashed afresh in every part of my life. In the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.
START PRAYING
Cry out from your heart:
Cry to the Lord with all your heart. Tell Him:
“Father, I have seen Your purpose for my life today, and I refuse to let the enemy interrupt it. Lord, keep me! Preserve me! Hold me with Your mighty hand! Every place where Satan is waiting for me, every trap he has prepared, every temptation he has arranged, Father, let Your mercy speak for me! I shall not stop halfway! I shall not become another casualty on the journey to Life! I receive grace to continue, grace to endure, grace to obey, and grace to finish well, in the mighty Name of Jesus!”
Pray with holy violence, sis.
“Father, every trace of Lucifer’s rebellion that is still hiding in my heart, expose it today! Every desire to live independently of You, every secret pride, every self-exaltation, every stubbornness, every resistance to Your will, uproot it by fire! Lord, I reject the poison of independence! I reject every spirit that says, ‘I know better than God.’ Break me! Humble me! Bend me until Your will becomes my delight! I choose dependence. I choose obedience. I choose Your Life!”
Now, cry from your spirit, like your life depends on it:
“Lord, I know my own day of testing will come. Before that day arrives, strengthen me! Let me not be a Christian only in public. Build secret strength inside me! When my own tree appears before me, let me choose You. When my own wilderness comes, let me choose You. When my own Potiphar’s wife appears, let me choose You. When my own Delilah appears, let me choose You. Father, I refuse to fail the examinations of Heaven! Let my life bring You joy!”
Pray passionately, beating your chest, the center of the ‘Candle of God’ as you do:
“Father, every area of my life where the flesh is still producing for the enemy, comquer it completely! Every appetite that continually drags me away from You, let it lose its strength! Every pleasure that has become an idol, every desire that competes with Christ in my heart, consume it with the fire of the Holy Ghost! Lord, let there be nothing in me that attracts Satan. Let him come and find no flesh to feed upon. Let him find only Christ!”
Lift your voice and stamp your feet on the head of the enemy! Refuse to negotiate:
“Father, I shall not die carrying unrealized purpose! I refuse to leave this world without manifesting Your intention for my life. Everything You ordained before I was born must come to pass! Every gift shall speak! Every calling shall speak! Every grace shall speak! Every prophecy shall speak! Lord, breathe upon me again! I receive fresh strength to become! I receive fresh grace to become! I receive fresh fire to become! Whether the devil likes it or not, I SHALL BECOME EVERYTHING YOU CREATED ME TO BE, FOR THE GLORY OF YOUR NAME, IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME! AMEN!”
Cry to the Lord with deep sincerity.
“Father, throughout the Scriptures, I have seen people who began well but did not finish well. Lord, I refuse to become another interrupted story! I refuse to become another Samson. I refuse to become another Demas. I refuse to become another Judas. I refuse to stand before You with regrets. Preserve me by Your mercy! Hold me when I am weak. Warn me before I fall. Rebuke me when I am drifting. Chase after me if I begin to wander. Father, I surrender my entire life into Your hands. Do not let me lose what You have ordained for me in Jesus’ Name!”
Pray until your heart is broken before Him:
“Lord, destroy every little fox that is spoiling my vineyard. Every secret compromise that I have tolerated because nobody knows about it, expose it today! Every hidden affection for the world, every hidden pride, every hidden bitterness, every hidden lust, every hidden love of comfort, every hidden rebellion against Your will, Father, uproot them! Let there be no agreement between my heart and the serpent. I separate myself from every covenant with the flesh. Purify me completely, O Lord!”
Cry for grace with all humility:
“Father, I have discovered today that becoming is not automatic. Lord, give me the grace to say ‘No’ every time the flesh rises. Give me the grace to say ‘No’ when my emotions want to lead me. Give me the grace to say ‘No’ when my eyes are attracted to what You have forbidden. Give me the grace to say ‘No’ when everybody else is saying ‘Yes.’ Father, strengthen my inner man until obedience becomes my delight. Let me never exchange eternity for temporary satisfaction.”
Pray from your depths, holding your belly passionately:
“Lord, baptize me with fresh love for Your presence. Let nothing in this world become sweeter to me than You. Let Your voice become more precious than the voices of men. Let Your smile become more important than the applause of people. Father, if there is anything competing with You in my heart, remove it today. I don’t just want Your blessings. I want You! I don’t just want Your miracles. I want You! Draw me until my greatest pleasure is to sit at Your feet.”
Now, declare with violent authority of a priest and king.
“In the mighty Name of Jesus, every ancient battle assigned against my becoming, scatter by fire! Every power that has fought my family from generation to generation, your time is over! Every inherited pattern that keeps people from fulfilling destiny, break today in Jesus’ Name! Every altar speaking against my spiritual growth, catch fire! Every satanic resistance against my calling, my marriage, my children, my ministry and my purpose, be consumed by the fire of the Holy Ghost! I shall become!”
This is going to be one of the most important prayers of your life if you mean it:
“Father, my greatest fear is not witches. It is not demons. It is not men. My greatest fear is to be left to myself. Lord, never leave me to my own wisdom. Never leave me to my own strength. Never leave me to my own desires. Correct me quickly. Discipline me quickly. Convict me quickly. If I begin to stray, call me back. If I become proud, humble me. If I become cold, awaken me. Father, I would rather be broken by You than abandoned by You.”
Now, prophesy over your life.
“Father, let my life become a threat to the kingdom of darkness! Let the devil regret ever touching my life. Let every attack he has launched against me backfire into greater glory. Raise me into the fullness of Your purpose. Make me a carrier of Your Life. Let Christ be seen in me. Let my prayers shake hell. Let my worship move Heaven. Let my obedience glorify You. Let my home become Your dwelling place. Let my children become arrows in Your hand. Let my life preach Jesus until the day I see You face to face. In Jesus’ mighty Name, Amen!”
FATHER’S CORNER
Let the instrumental below play softly while you spend time with your Father. Imagine Him seated right before you. Now, begin to talk to Him as though you can see Him. Heaven is open. Your Father is waiting.
Ask freely. Ask sincerely. Ask for meat, not chaff. Pour out your heart without reservation. This is not a religious exercise; it is a conversation between a Father and His beloved child.
Spend these next 10 minutes unhurried in His presence. If your heart longs to remain longer, please do. Give Him your attention. Listen as much as you speak. Those things in your journal, open them up and cry them out to your Father.
When you are done, round off your time with heartfelt thanksgiving.
PRAYER OF AGREEMENT
Let us pray together as one and see the glory of God. Do not remain silent or just say ‘Amen’. Follow the prayer carefully, open your mouth, and pray along. Repeat each declaration with faith and from the depths of your heart. Let every prayer become your own sincere cry to God.
Remember, this prayer covers every one of us. As you wholeheartedly stand in agreement for your sisters, they are also standing in agreement for you. “Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them” (Matthew 7:12). Therefore, pray earnestly, believe confidently, and expect the Lord to answer.
Now, let us lift up our voices together in faith.
(TRANSCRIPT)
Shall we agree together in prayers?
I go first, you go with me. Let’s pray.
Our Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, thank You for another day of Juicy July. Thank You because Your mercies are new every morning.
Your Word says that if two of us shall agree on earth concerning anything that we ask, it shall be done by our Father in heaven.
Your Word says that where two or three are gathered together in Your name, You are there in the midst of them.
Therefore, Father, today we stand before You as one family, one altar, and one body in Christ.
We come into agreement according to Your Word, and we receive by faith all that You have purposed to do in this season.
Father, we agree that every participant of Juicy July who has not yet truly encountered Jesus Christ shall be saved.
Let every backslider return home. Let every heart be awakened. Let Christ be revealed, and let many come into the knowledge of the truth.
Father, we agree that every hungry heart shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit. No one desiring the gift of the Holy Spirit will leave Juicy July without experiencing it in Jesus.
Father, we agree concerning every sister and every participant whose spiritual hunger has grown cold. Who have no burden for prayers, Father, awaken them by Your mercy.
Let a fresh hunger for Your presence arise in them. Let a holy burden for prayer fall upon them in Jesus Name.
Fill every participant who has experienced the Holy Ghost baptism afresh, Lord. Stir up every spiritual gift. Awaken every grace. Deepen our intimacy with You.
Empower us to live holy lives, to pray fervently, and to fulfil your will for our lives. Let Your Life be fully unleashed within us in the Name of Jesus.
Father, we agree concerning every participant and every name brought before this altar. Let every sickness bow to the name of Jesus. By His stripes, we decree healing.
We agree for creative miracles, Lord. Let damaged organs be restored, missing parts be created, blind eyes be opened, deaf ears hear, and impossible cases become undeniable testimonies, all for the glory of Jesus Christ.
Father, we agree concerning every waiting family. By Your mercy, release the babies You have promised. Let the sound of rejoicing replace the cry of barrenness.
Heal every husband and every wife. Restore every reproductive system. Open every womb according to Your mercy, and let these children be born for Your glory.
Father, we agree concerning kingdom marriages. Bring together those You have prepared for one another.
Bone to her bone, flesh to his flesh.
Break every demonic influence on their marital life, every delay, every deception, every counterfeit relationship, and every barrier standing against Your purpose. Destroy by fire!
Establish for you, godly homes that will glorify Christ and advance Your Kingdom.
Father, we agree concerning the finances of every participant. Open every door You have ordained.
Open every window of heaven over our lives. Break every chain of lack, stagnation, and financial oppression.
Release divine provision, favour, wisdom, opportunities, and abundant supply, that we may abound unto every good work and have more than enough to advance Your Kingdom.
Father, let Your Kingdom come. Let Your will be done in Africa as it is in heaven. Visit Nigeria and every nation represented in this Juicy July. Let the bloodshed cease. Let kidnappings cease. Let terrorism cease. Let violence and corruption be brought low. Let righteousness be exalted.
Purify Your Church. Remove compromise, falsehood, and worldliness. Raise faithful shepherds, bold witnesses, holy families, and labourers who will make disciples for Your glory.
Holy Spirit, take over the church in Nigeria, Africa and the nations again, by your mercy.
Father, because we carry the life of Christ, we decree that every manifestation of death must give way to life. Let sickness give way to life. Let barrenness give way to life. Let weakness give way to life. Let dryness give way to life. Let fear give way to life. Let discouragement give way to life. Let every area where death has spoken be overwhelmed by the life of God.
Let Zoe be unleashed in us, through us, and around us in Jesus Name.
Juicy July, hear the word of the Lord!
No delays, no roadblocks, and no excuses! Every single day of this month will show the raw Zoe life, light, and power of God!
We decree right now: No problem that came into July with us goes out with us!
Thou pregnant womb of heaven, we open our hands wide and we receive our deliverables! You will not go back with our blessings! You will deliver them all completely, and we are enabled to receive them!
Every power that wants to stop us, we stop you right now by fire! You cannot block our answers, and you cannot delay our testimonies!
It is finished, it is settled, and we have won by the power that is in the blood of Jesus!
In Jesus’ mighty name.
AMEN!
VICTORY DECLARATION
Before you leave today, seal everything the Lord has done in your heart with this declaration of victory. Don’t just listen. Sing it boldly. Let every word become your confession of faith. Christ has finished the work; now walk in the victory He has secured for you.
It is finished…
My Lord cried out loud.It is finished…
The price has been paid.It is finished…
The Kingdom invades earth! It is finished…
Therefore I prevail!
Declare it until your spirit believes it. In Christ, the victory is already yours.
