BIBLE STUDY : MATTHEW 5

TESTIMONY HIGHLIGHT

Let us read through these testimony before we start to pray. May your own testimony also arrive speedily and gloriously to the Glory of the Lord alone in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TESTIMONY 1: I want to thank God for granting me the grace to let go of things I thought I needed but were taking me away from private fellowship with my God. It’s been hard and painful but thank God that day by day my affection for God is growing bigger and bigger.

TESTIMONY 2: Sisters help me praise God oo. He has been gracious towards me since I started the juicy July 2024 programme. The prayer points all seem to be crafted specifically for me. Also, the grace and strength to fast and pray each bulletin prove that God is interested in my case. Just this morning I had a dream(one of the ways God communicates to me is through dreams). After the prayer of destroying the strongman, I had a feedback. I dreamt (dream withheld) and Immediately the Lord gave me the interpretation. I have been delivered from the strongman but he has sent his minion(the flesh) to lie in wait for me somewhere. I want to thank God for that victory and also for the revelation not to relax. There is still war ahead. I know with certainty that God is in this house and he is answering our prayers. Victory is ours in Jesus name. Amen. God bless BUD. God bless our mama, the vessel He is mightily using to lead us like an undefeated champion into the battle field. Amen

TESTIMONY 3: I want to give God all the glory for delivering my daughter from a sudden sickness, I just thank God for divine intervention. It all started on 2nd of July midnight, she was having high temperature and suddenly start stooling that she couldn’t control herself, I was like God what is happening , I was just praying and couldn’t sleep, Lo and behold , Day 3 Juicy July bulletin (Battling with the spirit of death) dropped and I opened and start to read, thereby praying the prayer request with all intensity, I placed my hand on her and I start to decree, gradually the fever start to come down and the stooling stopped. I give God all the glory and she celebrated her birthday on 07/07.

PRAYER

Praise the Lord for the testimonies. Ask the Lord to take all the glory for it. Ask that the Lord will glorify Himself the more in the life of the testifiers. And that the Lord will give everyone heartily participating in the Juicy July Prayer programme great testimonies to the glory of His Name. Ask for your own testimonies also.

Amen! Glory be to God!

If you are done praying, you can proceed in this prayer guide.

THE SPIRIT OF FEAR

Fear is more than just an emotion; it is a spirit. A dark spirit that works against the peace, joy, and faith that God wants us to have. Fear is a powerful weapon used by the enemy to paralyze and limit us from stepping into God’s promises and fulfilling His Will for our lives.

Fear, as a spirit, operates by planting seeds of doubt, anxiety, and dread in our hearts and minds. It whispers lies, magnifies problems, and distorts our perception of reality. Fear makes us forget who God is, who we are in Christ and diminishes our view of God’s power and love.

Fear enters through our thoughts, often triggered by past experiences, negative reports, or perceived threats. It then manifests in various ways, such as physical symptoms (e.g., sweating, trembling), emotional responses (e.g., panic, worry), and behavioral changes (e.g., avoidance, hesitation). Fear feeds on uncertainty and thrives in environments where faith is weak.

When fear appears, it paralyzes us, stopping us from taking action. It torments us with worry and anxiety, steals our peace, and makes us doubt God’s goodness and power. Fear isolates us, causing us to withdraw from others and from God.

WHY GOD HATES FEAR

If you didn’t know, then, I would love you to know today that God hates fear! He hates fear with passion! This is why the phrase “fear not” appears in various forms approximately 365 times in the Bible- one pill for each day of the year!

So, why does the Lord hate fear? You imagine a very strong, muscular, fearsome man holding a very little one year old baby in his hands. You’re imagining that, right? Now, imagine a little teeny-weeny boy coming to tease him and imagine as the baby keeps crying and shouting and shaking, sweating and vomiting in anxiety of what the boy could do to him. What do you think the man holding him would feel?

Appreciation? Joy? Love? He’d smile and feel great, right?

No way! The man is going to be embarrassed and sad. He’d wonder what he had the muscles for. He’d wonder if he boy hadn’t yet seen the display of his strength to ever fear something as tiny as that little boy.

In the same way and even greater, God hates fear because:

1. It Distracts Us from God: We take our eyes from the One holding us. We forget His strength, His muscles, His past display of strength and start to look at the teeny-weeny issues as grand and strong and powerful. God doesn’t want our eyes taken off Him!

2. Fear Undermines Faith: Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Fear is the opposite of faith, so, when we have fear, we are actually displeasing our God!

3. Fear Denies God’s Promises: When we are in fear, we forget all the promises of the Lord. Even when the Holy Spirit tries to bring His Word to our hearts, we shake our heads in disagreement and just want to be alone and cry and see how huge our problems are!

4. Fear Leads to Sin: From your experience, you must have realized that you sin when you fear. Is that incorrect? Well, fear will always lead to sin when we allow it to overcome us. Fear made Abraham to lie that Sarah was not his wife! Fear makes us lie. It makes us complain. Some even give their bodies for fornication or adultery for fear of being sacked from an employment or for fear of the guy not going ahead with the marital relationship. Some out of fear for their lives remove pregnancy, committing abortions, in their marriages!

5. Fear Shows a Lack of Trust in God: God’s Word says we should trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. However, when we choose fear, we are saying ‘Ah, I don’t trust the Lord o. How can I be kept in this danger now? Who will help me? I have no one o. Who will rescue me?’ We’d start to devise ways from our own understanding. This is contrary to trust!

THE FRUITS THAT FEAR PRODUCES

I heard a story of someone who went for an HIV test one day and got a result that showed ‘Positive’. She went back home, defeated. In the next few weeks, she was looking like an AIDS patient. She couldn’t eat, couldn’t drink, couldn’t live anymore! It was as if she had received a death sentence. A few weeks later, she received the correct exam results. The positive result had been a mistake! Then she started to recover from the terrible prison that fear had locked her in!

Fear as we have established is a spirit and one thing spirits do when they find themselves anywhere is to leave their seeds behind which will germinate and bring forth fruits.

Here are some of the fruits that fear bring forth:

1. Torment

2. Anxiety

3. Doubt

4. Paralysis

5. Isolation

6. Disobedience

7. Despair

8. Insecurity

9. Self-protection

10. Suspicions

11. Complaints

12. Sicknesses

13. Worry

VARIOUS TYPES OF FEAR

1. Fear of Hell Fire: This is one reason why so many people are Christians today. They don’t have a sacrificial, unconditional love for the Lord. They don’t seek to honour Him or obey Him with their lives. They simply don’t want to go to Hell Fire! This Causes constant worry about salvation, dos and don’ts – leading to legalistic behaviors!

2. Fear of Marriage: Another very popular fear is this! Almost every youth has this in the church today and unfortunately, many churches we have today aren’t doing anything about this! How evil the Devil is that he’d turn something that God made so very beautiful and good into something to be dreaded and hated! Oh how evil he is! This makes so many go into marriage with the mind to do it their own way and if it doesn’t work, they’d back out! They don’t even put in 20% talk less of the whole 100% required, so eventually, the marriage fails!!! This is why I would always counsel people who have this demonic fear to get rid of it before getting married, if not, that fear alone has condemned them to failure!

3. Fear of Children/Pregnancy: We live in a ‘Contrary-to-conception’ era! In fact, people get married today with plans not to give birth or with plans to give birth to just one kid and lock it up. I was in a hospital ward with some Brazilian girls born in the early 2000’s coming to tie up their wombs or remove them altogether. Oh, I cried in my heart all through my time at that hospital. Fear of children is becoming a thing these days. Fear of my breasts becoming sagged. Fear of me ‘losing myself’. Fear of me giving birth to ‘nurchins’ who only come to destroy my life. Oh, what the Lord calls ‘Blessings’, fear created by Satan makes man call them burdens and destroyers and money-sappers and destiny-destroyers. When this fear grips a soul, she is anxious about pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting responsibilities. This is not from God.

4. Fear of Barrenness: This is very common also especially with people who have lived with people who struggle with infertility, issues of generational barrenness and attacks against reproduction. As they are getting married, they enter with the anxiety that they might also be counted among the barren people in their family. This causes a lot of stress and depression over the inability to conceive.

5. Fear of Being Hated: Since we live in a ‘people-pleasing’ era, this has become a thing! People care so much about being ‘loved’ and accepted- especially people with character and personality issues They are scared that they might be hated and so they do all in their powers to ensure it doesn’t happen. They could decide to destroy other people’s reputations so that they are loved. They could spend a lot of money on gifts that they would share to people so that they can be accepted. This is a terrible fear. It makes one to live one’s life just pleasing people and compromising one’s values to gain approval. This is definitely not God’s way!

6. Fear of Failure: A Christian woman in Abuja had a school that was growing pretty slowly. The other schools around her were growing just so fast. Well, she visited one of them and the lady told her that she wouldn’t be able to do what she did to get that big because of her faith. The woman however insisted that she should show her the way. That she was ready. That she was tired of growing slowly. The woman asked her to be sure, she insisted. Then, the woman took her to the man that helped her. As the man saw her, the man asked her to go back. He told her that he saw something fiery about the woman and that she should go back but the woman said the man should ignore whatever he was seeing and just help her. The man insisted but the Christian woman also insisted. At the first consultation the man would do, there was an explosion in the place and both the Christian woman and the man died. Only the other woman survived to come and share the tale. See how that woman ended her life just because she didn’t want to be seen as a failure! Oh my!

Some fear that their courtship will fail. Some will never risk trying new things, even if it was an angel that came to deliver the news because they wouldn’t want to be seen as failures. This is contrary to faith and trust in God!

7. Fear of Not Making It Through a Spiritual Discipline: Some people as they are starting a new spiritual endeavor just fear that they won’t carry it through! Even this Juicy July, they believe that they just would be unable to carry it through. They believe they can’t study the Bible through the year. They believe they cannot grow in the Spirit up to the level of a certain person. If they are struggling with a habit and God is helping them overcome it, they believe it will not last. That in some days, they would be back to their vomits! This will constantly lead them to spiritual stagnation.

8. Fear of God’s Wrath: Just like the fear of Hell, some people see the Lord as a taskmaster who is always angry and full of wrath, so they are so afraid of Him. But this is contrary to the Scriptures. The Bible describes the Lord as ‘slow to wrath’ and One whose mercies endure forever! What we should have for this God is Love and not Fear. However, the Devil has succeeded in making so many people bound here. You’d see them pray- ‘May we not see the wrath of God’ and things like that. This results in living in constant fear of punishment rather than in the joy of salvation.

9. Fear of God’s Plan/Will: Oh how my generation hates to hear anything about God’s Will or God’s Plan! When either is mentioned, you’d see one or two persons reply ‘Well, God has given us the free will to make our own decisions, anyway’. These people believe that whatever God chooses for them is going to be below par. They believe that they know their lives better than anyone and allowing God to step in would ruin their lives. Ah! What a devilish fear! This leads to resistance to surrendering to God’s direction, choice and calling.

10. Fear of Loss: Some are bound by fear of losing their lives, or losing loved ones or losing their marriages or losing something they so much love. This makes them do everything possible to ensure they don’t lose those things. They could visit herbalists to give them charms to hang on their necks so they don’t die in a sickness (yes, they are professing Christians!). Some would enter into witchcraft to protect their marriages or their children. Some would resort to overprotectiveness and anxiety about their safety and the safety of others close to them. They don’t trust God to keep all that belongs to them. No, how can God be able to handle all of that? I’d have to do it all by myself! Oh such a gruesome fear!

Others include:

11. Fear of Loneliness: Leads to desperation and settling for unhealthy relationships.

12. Fear of Spiritual Attacks: Causes paranoia and constant suspicion.

13. Fear of Rape: Results in extreme caution, hatred for men and potential isolation.

14. Fear of Financial Inabilities: Causes anxiety and worry over provision and future needs.

15. Fear of Being Looked Down On: Leads to insecurity and a constant need to prove oneself.

REASONS WHY WE FEAR

1. We are in control of our lives, never allowing God in the driver’s seat.

2. We think God is too slow, we can’t just trust His timing and choice.

3. We think the evil powers are stronger than God because they are so loud and noisy.

4. We are fleshly, not spiritual

5. We lack faith

6. We lack the Knowledge of God’s Word

7. We have had past Negative Experiences/Trauma

8. We are Influenced by negative Culture and Tradition

9. We are always listening to Negative Voices

10. We are overexposed to Bad Media

11. We have a shallow relationship with the Lord.

12. We are perpetually marinating in Sin and Guilt

13. We overthink a lot and are pessimists.

THE FEAR OF JOB

Let us read from Job 1:2-5

There once was a man named Job who lived in the land of Uz. He was blameless—a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil.

He had seven sons and three daughters.

He owned 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 teams of oxen, and 500 female donkeys. He also had many servants. He was, in fact, the richest person in that entire area.

Job’s sons would take turns preparing feasts in their homes, and they would also invite their three sisters to celebrate with them.

When these celebrations ended—sometimes after several days—Job would purify his children. He would get up early in the morning and offer a burnt offering for each of them. For Job said to himself, “Perhaps my children have sinned and have cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular practice.

Job was a man of great integrity and faith. He loved the Lord and hated evil. However, unknown to anyone, he had a hidden fear- that his children had no fear of God and God could strike them dead if they sinned!

As soon as his children finished their feasts, he would start to make sacrifices on their behalf in case they had cursed God in their hearts. He was doing this out of fear, not love, not trust. He just wanted to protect these children by all means lest God would do them harm! Fear!

In Job 3:25, he admitted: “What I ALWAYS feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come true” (Job 3:25).

Despite his faithfulness, Job had underlying fears about losing his wealth, health, and family. We only got to know about this fear when he lost everything. Job’s story shows that fear can be a self-fulfilling prophecy that brings about the very things we dread.

6. Overprotectiveness and Control Issues

7. Negative Thoughts and Speech

8. Lack of Peace and Joy

9. Procrastination

FEARFUL PEOPLE OF THE BIBLE

1. The Ten Spies: In Numbers 13-14, Moses sent twelve spies to explore the land of Canaan. Ten of them returned with a fearful report, stating that the inhabitants were giants and that Israel stood no chance against them. Their fear not only discouraged the people but also caused the entire nation to doubt God’s promise. As a result, the Israelites wandered in the wilderness for forty years, missing out on the immediate blessing of entering the Promised Land.

The Fear: Fear of the inhabitants of Canaan.

Consequence: Wandering in the wilderness for forty years and a generation missing out on the Promised Land.

2. Elijah: Despite witnessing God’s power through miracles, Elijah fled from Jezebel’s threats (1 Kings 19). His fear made him feel despondent and isolated, claiming he was no better than his ancestors. Like how could Elijah conclude that his ancestors were better than him? This moment of fear led to God beginning the process of appointing Elisha as his successor.

Fear: Fear of Jezebel’s threats.

Consequence: Despair, isolation, and the initiation of his replacement.

The Spirit of Faith

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. (Hebrews 11:1). It trusts in God’s promises, relies on His character, and acts on His word, regardless of circumstances. Faith is a gift from God that grows as we spend time in His presence and His Word. Faith and fear are direct opposites in the spiritual realm. If you must overcome fear, you must grow in faith!

FAITH OVER FEAR

  1. Faith is grounded in trust in God’s promises. When we focus on what God has said in His Word, we build confidence that God is in control despite our circumstances that we can see. This is against fear, which dwells on potential negative outcomes of the present or future happenings.
  1. Faith strengthens as we grow in our understanding of God’s character. Knowing that God is loving, faithful, and all-powerful gives us the assurance that He will act on our behalf. Fear, on the other hand, often arises from doubts about God’s goodness or His ability to intervene in difficult situations.
  1. Faith enables us to face uncertainty with courage and perseverance. While fear paralyzes us and breeds doubt, faith propels us forward, trusting that God has a plan and purpose even in challenging times.
  1. Faith empowers us to see beyond present circumstances. It acknowledges difficulties but believes in God’s ability to bring about redemption and victory. Fear, conversely, focuses on immediate threats and potential failures. Fear has no eyes to see. It is so dead blind!
  1. Faith is strengthened through prayer and dependence on God. When we bring our fears to God in prayer, we surrender them to His care and seek His wisdom and strength. This act of surrender diminishes fear’s hold on our hearts and minds. Fear thrives in lives that are prayerless and don’t live in the Word.

Faith and fear are simply incompatible because while faith redirects our focus from our circumstances to God’s promises and character, fear shifts our focus from God to our problems.

HOW TO DISPLAY FAITH OVER FEAR

As long as we are in this world, there will always arise issues that will threaten our faith, dear sisters. One day, I was seated in front of a resident doctor who broke some terrible news to me in such a hopeless manner. ‘Any solution?’ My mum and I asked. ‘No solution– but well, there’s one!’. Then he proferred one temporal, terribly expensive, unhelpful solution like that. The news alone was fearful but the doctor’s delivery worsened it. As we left the hospital, I couldn’t wait to be alone with my Confidant. All through the journey, I tried to smile at my mum to show I was not bothered but my heart wept. As the words of the doctor replayed in my head, I mourned my state.

Thankfully, as we got home, my mum went somewhere else, so I was left all alone. I dragged myself from the gate and journeyed slowly down to the house. As I walked, I broke down in tears. I wailed and wailed. I asked God why. I told God that was not His promise. Oh, I cried.

Then, I leaned against the wall of the house and looked into the skies, hopelessly. I never knew that my Confidant had left a painting for me to see. I looked at the painting and my heart warmed up. I smiled tearfully as I studied it. It was as if I was dreaming. He spoke to my heart, consoled me, gave me songs to sing and strengthened my heart. Then, the painting faded away. It had done its job!

I went inside the house and started to say all sorts to the Devil. I sang and rejoiced. I never would have imagined that that day would end that way after the terrible ordeal at the hospital. Oh how amazing! And none of the doctor’s prognosis came to pass at the end of the day! Just as He said He would do, that was what He did!

How can we display faith over fear? In situations when fear has gripped a hold on our hearts, how can we practically tear off its ugly claws off our hearts?

1. Speaking God’s Word Over Situations: Declaring scriptures that counteract fear. Declare scriptures of health over sickness. Scriptures of wealth over poverty etc.

2. Get alone with the Lord: The first port of call is not your friend or family member. What you need is not compassion and a pity party, it is faith! But you must be someone who already practices time alone with God for this to work! Just get to be alone like Hezekiah and pour it all out. This could be in your prayer room, your bedroom or even during a walk with the Lord. Get alone with Him- first and foremost!!!

3. Telling the Lord About It: Taking time to bare it all out to the Lord is important!. While alone with Him, tell Him about how you feel. Tell Him you trust Him regardless. Ask Him what He’d do about the situation. Tell Him you hand it over to Him. Tell Him to snatch the fears away from your heart. There’s no harm crying. Just ensure you don’t leave Him still crying. Allow Him speak to your heart before you jump out.

4. Singing Songs That Are Opposite to the Current Situations: Worshiping and praising God despite circumstances. Oh, these work, sis! They’d rouse your faith and soon, you’d be the ones strengthening the people who have come to strengthen you.

5. Listening to Others’ Testimonies: Gaining encouragement from how God has worked in others’ lives.

6. Reading Your Testimony Journal: Do you keep one? You do? Amazing then! Reflecting on past victories and God’s faithfulness stir up your faith, sis!

FEAR NOT!

Dear sisters, what is that situation facing you, right now? Fear not! Fear will only bring your torments and hopelessness, my dear sister. You hear what the Lord Almighty has to say to you:

Isaiah 41:10: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God…”

Deuteronomy 31:6: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them…”

Isaiah 43:1: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you…”

Matthew 10:31: “So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

Hebrews 13:6: “So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid…'”

Isaiah 35:4: “Say to those with fearful hearts, ‘Be strong, do not fear; your God will come…'”

Psalm 56:3: “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”

Matthew 6:34: “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.”

Isaiah 41:13: “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”

Let me round off with this one:

Zephaniah 3:16: “Do not fear, Zion; do not let your hands hang limp.”

Do not fear, oh Lizzy; do not let your hands hang limp!

Do not fear, (put your name); do not let your hands hang limp!

REMIND ME, DEAR LORD

The things that I love, and hold dear to my heart

Are just borrowed they’re not mine not mine at all.

Jesus only lets me use them

to brighten my life.

So remind me

remind me dear Lord.

Roll back the curtain of memory now and then.

Show me where you brought me from

And where I could have been.

Just remember I’m a human, and humans forget.

So remind me, remind me dear Lord.

Nothing good have I done to deserve God’s own son.

I’m not worthy of the scars in his hands.

Yet he chose the road to calvary to die in my stead.

Why he loved me I can’t understand.

Roll back the curtain of memory now and then.

Show me where your brought me from and where I could have been.

Just remember I’m a human and humans forget.

So Remind me, remind dear Lord.

PRAYER REQUEST SPOTLIGHTS

Could we please join hands together to raise our voices to the Lord on behalf of these sisters

I need God to draw me closer to Him, He should settle me maritally, He should destroy every evil pattern in my family affecting my life and set me free,He should grant me all-round breakthrough.

I want God to reveal to me my purpose as I am at a crossroad in my life. I want God to give me a better job before the end of August. I want to experience maritally breakthrough. All my relationships seems to break down before it even starts, most do not last more than 1 month. I want to get married by March 2025. (Let us ask the Lord to take our sister deeper in Himself so that His perfect Will for her life will come to pass in all areas.)

Financial breakthrough and restoration for I and my family (we need a speedy breakaway from incurring loans and debts). Provision for a Visa sponsorship job that covers all relocation expenses for I and my family out of Nigeria. An international remote job for I and my husband as we await relocation. God’s favour in securing a permanent accomodation for us. God bless the works of my husband by granting him massive sales on his job and favor before his employers and clients.

I want my spiritual life to be revived back. I want God to heal from fibroid, my sister to be healed from ulcer, my mum and grandma to be heal from hypertension, high blood pressure, arthritis and diabetes. God should remove poverty from Daddy’s life, his life turned from 100 to zero I know is spiritual matter but his taking with levity and God should open his eyes. I want my name to be on the promotion list that will be released in this July. I am 31 yet to be married, I want God to open the gate of marriage for me that the bone of bone will locate me in this month of juicy July. I also use this prayer point as a point of contact to my friends and family that are yet to be married.  I want God to give a job that will enable me to serve Him

I am a student and I want everyone to join me to pray against spill over in school.

That my school should mobilize me for nysc this month and provision for basic amenities needed (fee for transportation, registration and so on). That the Lord settles me in all aspects both maritally, financially, carreer, healthcare and so on. The lord should settle my family, so we will not be put us to shame. Amen!

My courtship has been on hold due to some issues,I want God to intervene and bring back his peace to my relationship, let God show me mercy,so we can move forward with the courtship and prepare for wedding before this year runs out. (According to the Will of God in Jesus’ Name)

I am in a relationship that I seem not to understand where it’s heading because there’s usually no agreement, which usually come from the brother. I had almost same experience 2years ago. Now I’m confused, I don’t know what’s going on as the joy of being engaged is no longer there. I even had a dream this morning that he told my parents he’s not ready for marriage, I thereafter felt happy and free in the dream. Since the Juicy July started I’ve been praying for my spiritual senses to be at alert, I want the sisters here to please join me in prayers. Please pray against every stronghold standing against me having a successful courtship and marriage, against marital time wasters in my life. I also want you to pray for me for marital joy, rest and fulfillment.

I want God’s children to join me in prayers for a good paying job. I want financial settlement and growth and expansion of my business. Thank you sisters

WHOM SHAll I FEAR by Chris Tomlin

You hear me when I call

You are my morning song

Though darkness fills the night

It cannot hide the light

Whom shall I fear

You crush the enemy

Underneath my feet

You are my sword and shield

Though troubles linger still

Whom shall I fear

I know who goes before me

I know who stands behind

The God of angel armies

Is always by my side

The one who reigns forever

He is a friend of mine

The God of angel armies

Is always by my side

My strength is in Your name

For You alone can save

You will deliver me

Yours is the victory

Whom shall I fear (whom shall I fear)

Whom shall I fear

I know who goes before me

I know who stands behind

The God of angel armies

Is always by my side

The one who reigns forever

He is a friend of mine

The God of angel armies

Is always by my side

And nothing formed against me shall stand

You hold the whole world in Your hands

I’m holding on to Your promises

You are faithful, You are faithful

Nothing formed against me shall stand

You hold the whole world in Your hands

I’m holding on to Your promises

You are faithful, You are faithful

You are faithful

I know who goes before me

I know who stands behind….
