Hey sisters, welcome to the 13th day of Juicy July 2024. Glory be to God for thus far He’s brought us. I trust you have been squeezing and pressing and praying and getting all the juice out of the seventh month of the year. Please don’t stop! Please start if your haven’t. May our mouths be full of glad tidings and our hearts full of joy at the end of this prayer endeavor in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

TESTIMONY HIGHLIGHT
Let us read through this testimony before we start to pray. May your own testimony also arrive speedily and gloriously to the Glory of the Lord alone in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
I got a call from my mum that her goods worth over 800,000 were seized while transporting it to Delta where she sells, which made her very disturbed and worried. Yesterday morning during the prayers I asked specifically that before 12pm I want to hear good news about it being released and God did it accordingly. The goods were released and she has received them successfully. Also, last week my elder brother called me from bayelsa state that thieves came to attack his shop last month June, broke the locks and everything, which resulted to him packing up for over two weeks now, staying at home, in need of financial help to start up again. I included it in my prayers along with the bulletin and to the glory of God he called back yesterday that he has finished setting up the shop and everything and he’s resuming back today. May the name of God be praised forever Amen.
PRAYER
Praise the Lord for the testimony. Ask the Lord to take all the glory for it. Ask that the Lord will glorify Himself the more in the life of the testifier. And that the Lord will give everyone heartily participating in the Juicy July Prayer programme great testimonies to the glory of His Name. Ask for your own testimonies also.

WHO ART THOU, OH DAGON?
Here is the topic that we have before us today but before we venture into this, have you read our text for today?
No? Okay, let’s read it together patiently first. It is important that we study it before we go on in the prayer. I will be using the NLT.
1 SAMUEL 4:2-18
2 The Philistines attacked and defeated the army of Israel, killing 4,000 men.
3 After the battle was over, the troops retreated to their camp, and the elders of Israel asked, “Why did the Lord allow us to be defeated by the Philistines?” Then they said, “Let’s bring the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord from Shiloh. If we carry it into battle with us, it will save us from our enemies.”
4 So they sent men to Shiloh to bring the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, who is enthroned between the cherubim. Hophni and Phinehas, the sons of Eli, were also there with the Ark of the Covenant of God.
5 When all the Israelites saw the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord coming into the camp, their shout of joy was so loud it made the ground shake!
6 “What’s going on?” the Philistines asked. “What’s all the shouting about in the Hebrew camp?” When they were told it was because the Ark of the Lord had arrived,
7 they panicked. “The gods have come into their camp!” they cried. “This is a disaster! We have never had to face anything like this before!
8 Help! Who can save us from these mighty gods of Israel? They are the same gods who destroyed the Egyptians with plagues when Israel was in the wilderness.
9 Fight as never before, Philistines! If you don’t, we will become the Hebrews’ slaves just as they have been ours! Stand up like men and fight!”
10 So the Philistines fought desperately, and Israel was defeated again. The slaughter was great; 30,000 Israelite soldiers died that day. The survivors turned and fled to their tents.
11 The Ark of God was captured, and Hophni and Phinehas, the two sons of Eli, were killed.
12 A man from the tribe of Benjamin ran from the battlefield and arrived at Shiloh later that same day. He had torn his clothes and put dust on his head to show his grief.
13 Eli was waiting beside the road to hear the news of the battle, for his heart trembled for the safety of the Ark of God. When the messenger arrived and told what had happened, an outcry resounded throughout the town.
14 “What is all the noise about?” Eli asked. The messenger rushed over to Eli,
15 who was ninety-eight years old and blind.
16 He said to Eli, “I have just come from the battlefield—I was there this very day.” “What happened, my son?” Eli demanded.
17 “Israel has been defeated by the Philistines,” the messenger replied. “The people have been slaughtered, and your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, were also killed. And the Ark of God has been captured.”
18 When the messenger mentioned what had happened to the Ark of God, Eli fell backward from his seat beside the gate. He broke his neck and died, for he was old and overweight. He had been Israel’s judge for forty years.
1 SAMUEL 5:1-12
After the Philistines captured the Ark of God, they took it from the battleground at Ebenezer to the town of Ashdod.
2 They carried the Ark of God into the temple of Dagon and placed it beside an idol of Dagon.
3 But when the citizens of Ashdod went to see it the next morning, Dagon had fallen with his face to the ground in front of the Ark of the Lord! So they took Dagon and put him in his place again.
4 But the next morning the same thing happened—Dagon had fallen face down before the Ark of the Lord again. This time his head and hands had broken off and were lying in the doorway. Only the trunk of his body was left intact.
5 That is why to this day neither the priests of Dagon nor anyone who enters the temple of Dagon in Ashdod will step on its threshold.
6 Then the Lord’s heavy hand struck the people of Ashdod and the nearby villages with a plague of tumors.
7 When the people realized what was happening, they cried out, “We can’t keep the Ark of the God of Israel here any longer! He is against us! We will all be destroyed along with Dagon, our god.”
8 So they called together the rulers of the Philistine towns and asked, “What should we do with the Ark of the God of Israel?”
The rulers discussed it and replied, “Move it to the town of Gath.” So they moved the Ark of the God of Israel to Gath.
9 But when the Ark arrived at Gath, the Lord’s heavy hand fell on its men, young and old; he struck them with a plague of tumors, and there was a great panic.
10 So they sent the Ark of God to the town of Ekron, but when the people of Ekron saw it coming they cried out, “They are bringing the Ark of the God of Israel here to kill us, too!”
11 The people summoned the Philistine rulers again and begged them, “Please send the Ark of the God of Israel back to its own country, or it will kill us all.” For the deadly plague from God had already begun, and great fear was sweeping across the town.
12 Those who didn’t die were afflicted with tumors; and the cry from the town rose to heaven.

How was the text?
Fiery, right?
Glory be to God!
So, we could see in the first part how God’s people, the Israelites, in an ongoing conflict with the Philistines, suffered a significant defeat, and how in an attempt to turn the tide, they decided to bring the Ark of the Covenant into battle, believing that its presence would ensure victory.
The Ark of God was the most sacred object in Israel at the time, representing God’s presence and His covenant with the people.
Well, as we could see, bringing the Ark into the midst of the battle couldn’t work! This is a big lesson about the sovereignty and holiness of God. God is not a magician to be manipulated for human ends. The Israelites’ defeat showed that God cannot be controlled by merely having His symbols; He requires true obedience and reverence.
This is the first lesson we must learn here today. For the Lord, obedience is better than sacrifice. If He’s been convicting you of things, you OBEY! Don’t just speak in tongues to cover up His Voice. Fix what He’s been talking about, sis.
If over and over again, you have suffered a form of defeat or the other despite your prayers and fasting, you need to take a U-turn and see what the root cause is. How could God allow His Name be dragged in the mud? Well, for the Lord, if your defeat would result to the opening of your eyes, He will allow it.
It was this defeat that made people to wonder “Why did the Lord allow us to be defeated by the Philistines?”
Those issues that linger despite your prayers and sowing of seeds and service to God, have you taken a pause to wonder “Why, Lord?”
You just imagine the people that led the Ark of God to the battle- Hopni and Phinehas! The two terrible sons of Eli who were stealing from the Lord and sleeping with women in the temple! Haba! What a disregard for the Lord! Oh what a lack of fear and reverence for the Almighty.
This is not the subject matter before us today but since the Lord is taking us through this route, it’s very essential not to gloss over it.
You fornicate. You lie. You destroy people’s names and reputations. You are an unsubmissive wife to your husband. You are very rude (blunt you call it). You backbite and backstab. You steal. You envy. You are full of the works of the flesh. All of God’s attempts to correct you and get you to amend your ways have proved abortive. Yet, you fast and pray and speak in tongues and are looking for God’s hands? And you are surprised that instead of Him showing up, things only seem to get harder?
God is not a puppet to be used, sis. If His Name must be hallowed in your mouth, it must first have been hallowed in your heart.
There was a mummy that I used to really pray for. She had been praying for the fruit of the womb for many years and it was a very huge source of concern to me. She told me of a number of people who had seen in revelations that she had a pair of twins. We claimed those revelations and prayed for them to manifest but no matter what we tried, there was simply a standstill. One day, because my heart desperately burned for her, the Lord decided to show me what the issue was.
In the vision, an angel held two babies (to confirm all that other children of God had been seeing) and he was handing them over to her. She was stretching her hand (not hands) to collect the babies but the angel shook his head and signaled for her to collect the babies with her two hands. She insisted that she could handle them with one hand, urging the angel to hand them over but he refused. I was watching from one end of the encounter and wondered why she wouldn’t use both hands. When I found her second hand, I realized she was holding on to a rope. ‘Ah ah, what is so special about this rope?’ I wondered. Then, when I traced the rope, it was tying one person to another till there was a long queue of people. That was the rope she was holding on to. A rope of offenses.
The people who had insulted her due to her condition, people who had called her names, people who she couldn’t wait to ‘show’ etc. They were bound and she wouldn’t allow them go! To the extent that even when it concerned collecting the most prized gifts of her life, she wouldn’t let go. Yet, the fasts and the prayers wouldn’t stop and God seems so far away!
Another lesson from this story is that God is God! Can you scream that loud?
God, You are God!

God is the supreme God! He is the King of kings; the Lord of lords! The One with the supremacy over all gods.
When the people of Ashdod rose early the next day, there was Dagon, on his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord! It had bowed!!!!! It had no choice!
They took Dagon, their god and put him back in his place but the following morning, when they rose, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord! AGAIN!!!! Not only that, his head and hands had been broken off and were lying on the threshold.

A Stubborn problem met with a much more stubborn resistance- the Power Himself!

See, I have told us. We wouldn’t have to lift a hand in this battle. Only let us be on the Lord’s side in obedience. He’d fight for us. He will defend us.
NEVER FORGET WHO YOUR GOD IS!
Thy Philistines cried: “We’re doomed! Who will deliver us from the hand of these mighty gods? They are the gods who struck the Egyptians with all kinds of plagues…” (4:8).
Listen again:
“…They are the gods who struck the Egyptians with all kinds of plagues…”
It’s amazing that sometimes people who don’t serve the Lord have a better opinion of God than we, God’s people! The Israelites might have forgotten the power of God displayed in the Egyptian plagues, but the Philistines had not!
Even Eli must have forgotten! That was why He was afraid. He was scared that God would fail! He was scared that God would be captured! Hmmmm….there are times when it looks like God may have failed or is about to fail but I tell you, this is far from the truth!
The lyrics of a song says:

He’s Jehovah, my great provider
Tell me why you’ve given up on God

Immediately the Devil gets us to forget who our God is, how He’s moved huge mountains for us in the past, we will begin to see the waters as great and we will begin to sink! Our mountains become so big and our God grows small in our eyes.
YOU CAN’T LAUGH LAST, DAGON!
If you watch Football games, you’d know how the players celebrate after each goal- Gyrate, Shake, Jump up & down, Yell, Spike the ball, Run around.
That’s what the Philistines had done after their two great victories over the Israelites, and probably more now when the ‘Deity’ of the Israelites had been captured. Probably the whole city of Ashdod was assembled to celebrate.
They brought the Ark — as a trophy — into the Temple of Dagon, and probably shouted, “Praise to the Mighty Dagon, who has defeated the God of the Israelites, Jehovah.” And they put the small box before the giant statue of Dagon.
But the enemies can’t throw the last blow! The One who is now with us in this battle must just have the final say!
“Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain,” says Zechariah 4:7.
In the same vein, who art thou, o great Dragon before the Lord God of Host- thou shalt be broken to pieces!!!!
Dagon, this so-called god, could not stand in the presence of the Almighty. Sisters, this is good news to us. This is simply letting us know confidently that no idol, no power, no principality can withstand the true and living God. Dagon fell, his power shattered, his dominion nullified. That is the God we serve!
Many of us have found ourselves in situations where it seems the enemy has triumphed over us. Our goods, our glory, our testimonies have been captured and taken to the enemy’s camp. We may have been responsible, having done things that opened the door for the enemy to invade our lives. Yet, even when we fall, we must make efforts not to stay down! We must remember the promise in Micah 7:8: “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.”
Amen? So, as long as we still have breath in us, there is hope!
The Ark of God troubled the Philistines. They thought they had won, but they didn’t realize that they had brought into their camp the very presence of God, which would become their undoing. Oh my my!
Similarly, our entitlements, our God-given blessings, can trouble the camp of the enemy until they are returned to us. Do you believe?
CRY LOUD
Oh Lord arise and cause all my stolen goods in the camp of my enemies become their undoing! Use my possessions that are in their camps to destroy them in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!
Just as the Ark brought plagues upon the Philistines, causing them to return it to Israel with offerings, so too will our captured blessings trouble our adversaries in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
ROUNDING OFF
Today, we’d be calling upon the Lord to defend His Name. We’d be asking that our entitlements trouble the enemy’s camp until they are returned. It’s not just about us reclaiming what was lost, but about God demonstrating His power and glory over the idols and principalities that seek to oppress and frustrate us.
What battles have you intentionally walked into? You got sexually involved with someone and the enemy is using that to judge your case, holding on to the bond of covenant you wallowed in for a few minutes of pleasure? Or you insulted or looked down on someone called of the Lord? Or you have been fetish, visiting herbalists and submitting things here and there?
Whatever thing anyone does, he will reap it! This is what the Scripture says. And if you sow one seed of beans, do you reap one? No! You will reap in barns! So, this is dangerous. But we have the Lord already who has settled this bill for us. All we need do is ask for the bill to cover those grey areas and nullify their reproduction effects. Yes, sis. Because of His mercy, the judgment against your life can be overruled! Oh yes! We enjoy the mercy of the Lord by the Power in His Blood.
Can you cry very loud?
Oh Lord, I am sorry for all the evil seeds that I have sown knowingly and unknowingly. Please forgive me oh Lord. Please by your mercy that prevails over judgment, and by the completed works of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross, nullify all the reproductive effects of these seeds by the Blood of Jesus Christ.
All the evil fruits that the evil seeds I planted are already bringing forth, I curse you now by the Power of the Holy Spirit, dry up from the roots. I hide under the mercies of the Lord and curse you to your roots now in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
Oh, have mercy upon me oh my Lord. (Repeat this over and over again until your spirit is indeed crying it meaningfully)
Or maybe yours isn’t even about you walking into battle but you are being bundled into it. You are being forced into battle. You are just hated and until the enemies see your end, they don’t want to give up. They take your pictures today to a shrine, take another video tomorrow to a herbalist. They lie against you and now it seems that you are at their mercies. When they renew their covenants, your life becomes miserable. When they are unable to, you relax and have small peace. They have been the ones controlling all the seasons of your life. No way! Enough is enough! That was never the Lord’s plan, sis! How can you declare yourself a child of God and still be under the remote-control-ship of Dagon?
Today, we must pray! Amen?
We must hide under the Wings of our Almighty God and carry fire into the shrine and abode of Dagon. Amen?
And you know what? Dagon will bow, nay, he’d be smitten and broken to pieces. Amen???
Isaiah 8:9-10 says: Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.
Personalize that passage and quote it like a warrior that you are! Mean it fearlessly! Amen??
PRAYER TIME
WORSHIP
Let us take some quality time to worship the Lord for His Word that we have just gone through.
Thank Him for the specific revelations that He has given you today.
Adore the Lord for who He is.
Tell Him how wonderful His works are!
Tell the Creator how excellent all He has made are.
He who sits upon the earth and rules over the affairs of men. Lord we worship YOU.
Thank the name of the Lord for the opportunity to see the 13th day of this programme.
Worship Him for the strength He has granted you to wait on Him.
Thank Him for the miracles and mighty works He has started already and how far He will take you.
Thank Him for your family. Thank Him for His faithfulness over everyone
Importantly, thank God for the privilege to know Him.
Thank God for the access and the privilege to call HIM Father. Thank You Lord.
SPIRITUAL SANITATION
Begin to sanitize your life right now. Rid your life of every sins and iniquities with the Blood of Jesus. The Lord does not hear the prayers coming from the mouth of a sinner, but if such confesses and forsakes the sins, the Lord will have mercy, hear and forgive.
ATMOSPHERIC SANITATION
Now, take charge of your environment. Begin to cover where you are now with the Blood of Jesus. Cover yourself with the fire of the Holy Ghost.
LET US PRAY:
I shall not be carried away into captivity! (Repeat till you are satisfied in your spirit)
My glory, my health, my marriage, my children, my parents, my (keep mentioning them) shall not be carried into captivity!!
Oh ye Dagon, oh ye long standing and stubborn problem of my life, what are you waiting for? Fall and be broken to pieces before the Lord God Almighty in the name of Jesus!
Oh Lord, let Your hand be heavy against every Dagon that has been placed to monitor my life, ridicule me or hold me captive in the Name of Jesus!
Oh Lord, bring sudden afflictions into the camp of my enemies. They might have shouted in celebration before when I was afflicted but send a noise of mourning into their camps oh Lord in Your mercy!
I am an Ark of God! I bear the Lord in me, so, henceforth, let no man trouble me in the Name of Jesus! I become a threat to all my enemies roundabout in the Name of Jesus!
I decree wherever my name or any member of my family’s name is tendered for evil, let the fire of holy ghost consume the place and let the wrath of God visit the people tendering our names in Jesus name.
Oh Lord, I confess the sins of trusting in candles, oil, water, pastor’s prayers, pastor’s prophecies, mantles and other spiritual materials instead of trusting in You. Forgive me oh Lord God Almighty.
Let there be a shift in my gaze oh Lord!
Henceforth, my hope is in You Lord. My strength is in You Lord!
Oh Lord, I am sorry for the times I’d mixed the spiritual with the secular. I am sorry for telling jokes about you or the church. I am so sorry for laughing at comedies about you and the church. Forgive me oh Lord.
Help me never to mix the secular with your Name. I stick to Your Name oh Lord and I reverence You – in the name of Jesus 🙌
I am an embodiment of Christ therefore no power can take the place of Christ in me in Jesus name
I decree every representation of dagon in my life and lineage is shattered in Jesus name
I decree every evil transportation made in the thick of the night to cause a slow down or retrogression in the journey of my life is nullified in Jesus name
I set myself and family free from every room/shrine we have been spiritually locked in in Jesus name
I decree– every plan to divert the plans of God Almighty for me and my household and make them unachievable for us will not come to fulfillment in Jesus name.
Heavenly Father, just as You caused Dagon to fall before the Ark of the Covenant, let every idol and false god in my life be shattered by Your power, in Jesus’ name.
Lord, by Your mighty hand, overthrow every power of darkness that seeks to hold my blessings and entitlements captive, in Jesus’ name.
O God, who demonstrated Your supremacy over Dagon, reveal Your power over every situation in my life that seeks to rob me of my glory, in Jesus’ name.
Father, let Your presence trouble every enemy camp where my goods and testimonies have been held. Cause them to be released back to me in Jesus’ name.
Lord, just as the Philistines were afflicted until they returned the Ark, let every enemy holding my possessions be tormented until they restore all they have taken, in Jesus’ name.
Father, arise and defend Your Name in my life. Let every enemy rejoicing over my downfall be put to shame as You restore my glory and testimony, in Jesus’ name.
I reject every bad news of captivity, death and defeat. They shall not be my portion or the portion of my loved ones in the Name of Jesus!
Every plan of the devil to send a messenger of bad news to me, or for people to send a messenger of bad news concerning me and mine, I destroy such plans now in the Name of Jesus!!!
God of war, trouble all who are troubling me and my family, let them know that I have a living God in Jesus name.
Thank you Jesus for answered prayers in Jesus name

PRAYER REQUEST SPOTLIGHTS
Could we please join hands together to raise our voices to the Lord on behalf of these sisters
- I was given a notice to quit my current apartment, I want God to help me to get a suitable accomodation before the deadline elapses.
- I have been having a health challenge for 3 years now, everyday I either feel weak, in pains, dizzy, sometimes I feel like I will faint. I have taken drugs, done series of test but the doctor doesnt see anything wrong, there are times I want to fast and pray for long but due to my health I find it very difficult. I want God to perfect my health
- Prayer for a friend ; Miss Obi Angela. God in His infinite mercy overshadow her and her entire family with His presence and help them build a deep relationship with Him that will last till eternity. God should perfect His will in their life, Totally restore the health of her father( Mr. OBI THOMAS) who is about to undergo a surgical operation in Jesus Name… AMEN 🙏
- Hmmmm, I’ve been experiencing low CGPA for like 2 semesters now. My result started well and now it’s reducing, I can’t even see the results I put into preparing for examinations because when I see my result I’m always discouraged. But now I want the children of God to join me in prayers (I’m currently writing my exams) that I find favour in the sight of those lecturers when they mark my script, I’m so tired of wasted effort, when I see my result I want it to be a testimony, all the grades that I have lost I want to receive them back in million folds till I graduate. Children of God please join prayers with mine
- 1. Since last year, my mother have had issues with her eyes, the doctors confirmed that it was as a result of her diabetes…..Till date, the eyes has not improved and she cannot even see with those eyes of hers. She is a Hospital evangelist but she could not continue this, she does not go to church anymore.she just stays at home connecting online because of her eyes.I want the children of God to help me pray in faith and declare total healing on her health and the recovery of sight. 2. Join me in prayers to pray for my Sisters husband that the Lord would connect him divinely and bring good contract that will cause their family breakthrough……Amen
- Please, I want BUD to pray for my brother in Dubai. He’s been arrested since Tuesday. I’m just getting to know today. They said he didn’t have a residence permit and he’s been arrested. The family is yet to hear anything from him since Tuesday. Please, pray for his release. I’m hearing he’s facing deportation as it is. Please, help me pray that mercy will single him out.
- I want sisters to join me for deliverance from strange spirits and demonic activities that has kept me bound and the Holy Spirit to show me why I have not been having the full experience of a child of God.
- I have been praying for the restoration of my health, it’s been a burden for me and I cry everyday because of it, infact my body has become addicted to a particular medication that without it, I can’t sleep and presently with it self I suffer insomnia, please I believe God is in this family so I want you to join me in prayers asking God to restore my health and break the spirit of addiction to that injection, I know and am sure I would come back bearing testimonies.
- I need God’s intervention in my Job application process in Ernst and Young. God’s favor should single out my application and Grant me entry into the firm this year. Also divine visitation for every members of BuD and their loved ones and Grace to tarry till the end. Finally God should visit my friend by name Blessing getting married this month and supply every needed resources for both the wedding and the marriage.
NOW TO OUR PRAYER JOURNALS
Let us raise our prayer list to the Lord and tell Him all about our requests. Let us ask the Father in the Name of Jesus to turn those requests into testimonies for us according to His Will in Jesus’ Name. Let us pray fervently on them before we move on.
