What a deep message, right?
It is all because of the glory that has been seen!
You are being fought because of the glory the enemy can see!
Herod is killing every little child around you just to make sure you are not found and glorified!
The sing of the song said you should endure and manage till God comes from you. That is the only problem with the song because we are not going to endure nada!
Or you will endure and wait?
No way!
We are facing all that needs to be faced squarely NOW!
We are gonna pray!
We are gonna secure the glory!
We are gonna take it all back!

When the Bible says ‘Arise, shine for thy light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you’ in Psalm 60:1, have you ever sat to think about it?
If the glory has arrived, where will it descend on?
If the glory is to shine, from where will it shine?
Is it from your hand?
Or your neck?
Or you buttocks? Haha
It is from the head!
The head is the topmost part of the body. It is the one that represents you!
If you say ‘Oh that lady is beautiful’, many times, it is because of what is in her head- her face, her hair, eyes, teeth, lashes, brows etc.
The head is in many ways the most important part of the body.
It is the center of thought and emotion, and unlike other visible body parts (such as the hand or arm) it is essential for life at all!
The first biblical reference to the head comes in Genesis 3:15, where the curse on the serpent is that the woman’s offspring will crush his head.
The clear difference between the serpent’s bruising the heel of the woman’s child and that child crushing the serpent’s head pictures the difference between a wound and utter defeat!
Crushing the head signifies utter destruction!
Cutting off a person’s head in a warfare is a symbol of victory
1 Samuel 17:46 says: This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
1 Samuel 31:8-10 also say:
8 And it came to pass on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his three sons fallen in mount Gilboa.
9 And they cut off his head, and stripped off his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to publish it in the house of their idols, and among the people.
10 And they put his armour in the house of Ashtaroth: and they fastened his body to the wall of Bethshan.
2 Samuel 20:22 also says:
Then the woman went unto all the people in her wisdom. And they cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri, and cast it out to Joab. And he blew a trumpet, and they retired from the city, every man to his tent. And Joab returned to Jerusalem unto the king.
So, when the head is cut off in a warfare, it means a defeat! A total destruction! A conquest!
And see, the head is particularly very vulnerable in warfare. That is usually what the enemy targets, therefore you would always see the psalmist pray for protection over his head. For instance, “O Lord Almighty, the strong one who saves me, you have covered my head in the day of battle” in Psalm 140:7.
God’s protection in all of life’s battles is usually symbolized by a head covering.
The head is the focal point of the body, so that is where kings were anointed!
Exodus 29:7 says: Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him.
Also, when the Psalmist said ‘Thou anoints my head with oil’ in Psalm 23:5, images of the king’s anointing would come to your mind, right?
Oh yes! God crowns His people with honour and blessing through the symbol of oil on the head!
In addition, Proverbs 10:6 says: “Blessing cover the head of a righteous person”
Just as you would see throughout the Old Testament that blessings were delivered with a hand over a person’s head. For instance, Genesis 48:14 says: And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn.
Blessing can symbolically center on a person’s head, but so can sin and guilt. The priests put their put their hands on the head of the scapegoat to symbolize the transfer of the people’s sin onto the animal.
Exodus 29:10 says: And thou shalt cause a bullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the bullock
Also, people’s sins can return upon their own head
Obadiah 1:15 says: The day of the Lord is near for all nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head.
Similarly, shame and guilt are symbolized by covering one’s head with one’s hand or with ashes
Jeremiah 14:3 says: And their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters: they came to the pits, and found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads.
Also, uncovering of the head by shaving one’s hair was a symbol of mourning. In some parts of the world today, it also is still a symbol of mourning!
So, I have taken you through some of what the head represents in the Scriptures so we can understand well, what we are doing today.
The head is the command center of the body.
It is the symbolic representation of the person’s being as well as the leader of all the functions of the body.
If you do something stupid, and somebody says, “Have you lost your head?”, you don’t do a quick check to see if something’s missing above your shoulders. You understand that it means you’re acting as if you’ve lost your sense of reasoning.
Heads are very very important!
In the head, we have the
– brain
– eyes for sight
– ear for hearing
– mouth for talking and eating
– nose to smell
Without one or two leg(s), you can still be alive. Even, without the two hands, you can still be alive but I am yet to see someone without the head and still alive.
All actions of the body are coordinated from the head. So, when someone gets confused, it started from the head.
The hair on your head represents your glory in the spirit world.
The head is used to describe a person’s life. The psalmist prayed, “Let their mischief come upon their head”. So, the head is a collector: collector of both good and evil.
When your head is lifted up, it is your life that is moving forward or going higher. Your head carries your glory.
The head
– is the topmost part of the body.
– is where is anointed.
– is where the crown is placed
– is the centre of communication
– is the faculty of reasoning
– is where all the senses can be found
Without the head, all other parts cannot function properly. When the head is sick, the whole life is sick too.
Even, Jesus also warned us in Matthew 5:36 that we should not swear with our head. God is always interested on issues about our head. Satan also is very interested.
The devil also knows the important of our heads and He is always interested in targeting it!
2 Kings 4:18-20 says: “And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the reapers. And he said unto his father, My head, my head. And he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother. And when he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died.”
Can you see?
This child was a miracle child from the Lord o!
The Lord, through Prophet Elisha gave this barren woman the gift of a son miraculous!
And the child grew!
He followed his father to the field of the days and an attack hit him!
Where?
IN HIS HEAD!
His head was the target!
And what happened after some time?
HE DIED!
When the Devil attacks your head, it is to kill that glory!
To kill that vision!
To kill that dream!
To kill that destiny!
To kill that knowledge!
To kill your meaning and your existence!
Oh yes, there are attacks against the head!
There are glory exchangers, there are glory traders.
An attack through the head runs through the whole of the person’s life, calling, etc.
The head can be:
– manipulated
– destroyed
– pulled down
– bewitched
– polluted
– crushed
– cursed
Our heads are the most vulnerable to attacks in the spiritual realm. In movies, you would see evil powers invoking a person’s head!
If someone escapes death and destruction, you would see people say ‘Wow, his/her head didn’t cooperate with the evil’ and so on.
Our heads mean a lot to our success in life and that is why prayers for the head is a must for humans.
Heads can cooperate with the Devil if the head is not submitted to the Lord!
A head can be hit with insanity!
A head can be hit with brain problems which will be termed a ‘medical name’
A head can be hit with frustration!
It can be hit mental disorders!
It can be hit with pains and sicknesses!
It can be hit with confusion!
It can be hit with arrows of uselessness!
It can be hit with depression and moodiness!
It can be hit with seizures!
And so on!
Just so that your existence is rubbished!
Just so that glory doesn’t shine!
We need to pray!
If you are married or going to be married someday, this is an opportunity to even pray for the man you are married to or the one you will be married to! He is your head according to the Scriptures and he is more susceptible to spiritual attacks! If the devil can get him, he knows he can get you, the children and all that concerns your home! PRAY FOR YOUR HEAD!
Pray for your children’s heads and their glory!
May the Lord deliver our heads from every past, present and future attacks targeted against our heads in the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen.

Spend some quality time to praise the Name of the Lord.
Call the Lord beautiful Names that befit Him.

Ask the Lord for mercy over your life.

If you have gone to some evil places before or you followed someone there or you were taken there when you were young, lay your hands on your head now and begin to ask for His mercy.
Lord, have mercy on me for the times when I visited/was taken to/ accompanied someone to evil places in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
If a false prophet has laid hands on you head before, when you were young or recently, begin to shake your head vigorously:
Jump out of my head right now! Every evil effect of evil hands laid on my head, jump out of my head now in the mighty Name of Jesus!
If you have been dreaming of some evil powers attacking your head, slapping your head, plaiting your head, spitting at your head or anything like that, this is the right time to fight those powers now!
Every power toying with my head in my dreams and in the spirit realm, enough is enough of your activities in my life, be defeated by the Blood of Jesus in the mighty Name of Jesus!

Heavenly father, take away shame from my head and crown me with divine glory now in your mercy in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
