THE MIGHTY INFILLING (April 2025’s Prayer Bulletin)

THE BUD FAMILY AFRICA

MONTHLY PRAYER AND FASTING BULLETIN FOR APRIL, 2025

THEME: THE MIGHTY INFILLING

TEXT: Acts 1:8

BIBLE STUDY TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 2

Hello my beautiful sisters, welcome to another edition of our monthly prayers and fasting. I’m glad the Lord has been taking us through a series of moulding and making with His word, month after month. I also want to wish us all a resurrecting Easter, may everything seeming dead in our lives come alive in this season in Jesus Name!! May we daily experience the resurrecting power of the Lord in our lives daily, Amen!

Today, the Lord has brought before us this topic, THE MIGHTY INFILLING.

Before we begin, can we cry out intensely:

  • Lord fill me with Your power today

  • Can You please take every hindrance to Your infilling away from my life, right this moment

  • Please Lord, purge me from every defilement, cleanse my cup (your heart – His dwelling place) and empty me of self and sin.

Thank you Jesus, Amen!!!

Let’s take this song before we proceed.

Holy Ghost Power by David Dam

[Verse 1]

Let Your Power,

Holy Ghost Power,

Rest on me, Rest on me,

Let Your Power,

Holy Ghost power,

Rest on me, Rest on me (2X)

[Chorus]

Oh, Oh, Ooh Rest on Me,

Oh, Oh, Ooh Rest on Me,

Oh, Oh, Ooh Rest on Me,

Holy Ghost Power,

Rest On Me.

[Verse 2]

Let Your Spirit,

Holy Spirit,

Rest on me, Rest on me,

Let Your Spirit of Wisdom,

Rest on me, Rest on me (2X)

[Chorus]

[Verse 3]

Lord let your glory,

Shekinah Glory,

Rest on me, Rest on me,

Let your glory,

Shekinah Glory,

Rest on me, rest on me

[Chorus]

Let’s focus on the three verses of this song for our prayers today. You can listen to the rest of the song later and pray with the remaining parts. Only after the baptism of the Holy Ghost power, can we talk about a fire of revival, power to prosper, grace of favour and every other thing. The Bible says in Matthew 6:33 KJV “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”.

What is the righteousness of God? It’s the Holy Spirit’s dwelling in us and leading us day by day to do what pleases God. There’s also a realm of righteousness and brokenness you may not be able to access if you do not have the baptism of the Holy Ghost yet.

Remember that the baptism of the Holy Ghost is not of speaking in new tongues, it is of the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to do all God desires of you. It is by this empowerment we walk in the light of His will, God working in us and working through us. Sisters, this power is important and the Lord wants to give it to us, if only we ask intently and sincerely.

One word stands out from the song lyrics “Power”! Let’s take careful looks at the following Bible texts:

Acts 1:8 KJV “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Luke 24:49 NIV: I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high”.

2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV: “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me”.

Ephesians 3:20 ESV:  “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us”

Can you see the various contexts of use of the word power again and again? The empowerment of the Holy Spirit enables one whom it has rested upon to be a vessel unto honour in God’s hands, Christ’s ambassador to the nations. Being clothed with His power is receiving the fundamental promise of the Father which Peter highlights in 2 Peter 1:3-4 as all that we need for life and godliness. It is by this power. It is by this power that we are able to rise above the weaknesses of our human frailty and the demands of the flesh which we greatly struggle against. It is the power that helped Christ to live sin-free and walk daily in prayer and loud cries to do the Father’s will, our own Forerunner in righteousness (Hebrews 5-6). This power by the Holy Spirit works in us to do what our minds and desires desire in Christ and more than that.

Acts 2:1 – 4 KJV: “When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance”. This is POWER!

There is no way the power will infill us and rest upon us and clothe us that our lives will stay the same. It is impossible that our walk with the Lord will stay the same. We will be transposed from being a weakling in faith into one whose source of daily strength is deeply ingrained in Christ, making us do the extra-ordinary.

Acts 4:31 KJV: “And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness”. This is POWER!

There are many dimensions and realms in the spirit the mortal man can never travel into, it has to be the Holy-Ghost-possessed-man that can enter into those realms. It is only the overwhelming manifestation of this power that takes you out of yourself, your comportment and your understanding that can access those dimensions.

Let’s look at a Bible verse together, Acts 8: 39, 40 KJV – “And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, and went on his way rejoicing. But Philip found himself at Azotus, and as he passed through he preached the gospel to all the towns until he came to Caesarea”.

This is that Power that can carry a man from one city to another. Do you think if Philip wasn’t filled with the Holy Ghost, he could do that himself? NO!! The Lord in this verse is the Holy Spirit, the same Spirit that is in the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:17 states: “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom’.  And as confirmed in Romans 8:11 if the Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, then God will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit dwelling in you’. We can have the Holy Spirit walk in us as He did in our Lord Jesus Christ’s life when He walked on earth as a Man.

If you’ve been believing the Lord for the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues, or you have been baptised in the Spirit but you don’t have the gift of speaking in tongues,  take this time to really cry out to Him to loosen your tongue and believe without doubting that He will do it just at that perfect moment.

Bear in mind dear sister, that this gift will not come if you do not hunger for it as desperately as you hunger for food. You have to be tired of living without power and desire the Holy Ghost baptism. You have to see reasons (many) why you need this baptism. Those reasons will inspire and push you to the point of intense desire for the power in prayers.

Let’s take a look again at Scriptures giving us the importance of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. 1 Corinthians 14: 2 ESV: “For one who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God; for no one understands him, but he utters mysteries in the Spirit” Jude 20 ESV: But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit.

If you ever will build spiritual capacity or really communicate one on one with God, YOU NEED THIS EMPOWERMENT! It is the Grace needed to build intimacy and fellowship with God and loving every bit of it, never failing to keep God before you, always. It is the first step to being daily filled with the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:26-27 ESV: “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God”. You do not even know how to pray the right way! Ah! You will not and cannot pray according to the will of God without the baptism of the Holy Ghost. God is a spirit and those that must worship him must worship him in spirit, by his spirit/Holy Ghost. You cannot even properly communicate directly with God WITHOUT IT!

Again, note dear sister, that the Holy Ghost Baptism is just evidenced by a physical manifestation of speaking in tongues, but there’s a lot more to it. The loosening of your tongue is just one of the physical evidences, so many things change in your spirit man that day! You carry a new aura in the spirit.

Manifesting the Power of the Holy Spirit

The manifestation of the power of the Holy Ghost is another mighty realm to look up to sisters. It is the possessing power of the Holy Ghost that could fill you to the point where you may not be able to move from a spot for hours or lose control of yourself completely. Beyond this, those who come in contact with us cannot but testify that there is that difference between us and others. We get to be true carriers of the aura of Christ and the testimony is simple: This one has been with Jesus. This is the manifestation of power. It is when the infilling of the Holy Spirit in us finds outward expressions, touching and changing, and influencing and birthing new lives for Christ everywhere we find ourselves. It is the glory of the Father, spreading the fragrance of Christ through us in all that we do, making all who are outside of Christ seek to become one body with Him.

I don’t know if a sister here already desires this manifestation, please begin to desire it. Don’t ever be satisfied sister with any level you get to spiritually. I assure you that no matter how much you pray, or experience divinely, there’s always a lot more to experience. Unique experiences and manifestations the Lord gives every believer who asks for them.

Have you ever read a bible verse and start weeping because it becomes so real to you? You begin to see yourself as that person in the Bible, you begin to see your unbroken selfish self in that verse because it pierced through your soul and spirit, bone and marrow, revealing the true intentions of your heart (Hebrews 4:12)

That is the brokenness the Holy Spirit seeks to work in us so we can truly manifest His power. We should cry out to God for this daily brokenness. It should be daily! Not once a while, not once a year.

I implore you sisters, to truly grow in the Lord. You and I need this baptism and the infilling. You have not been able to share the word of God with boldness and talk about Christ with utmost conviction? It is because you have not been experiencing the daily workings of the Holy Ghost’s power in you. You cannot share what you have not experienced and what has not broken you. Let the power of the Holy Spirit break you, daily!

It is the memories of the cross and revival within you that would propel you to share the gospel with others. And this intense revival (clean broken hearts walking in purity with the Lord) will make you genuinely concerned with intense prayers for a soul.

You will look at those Christians in church that are still mingling with sin with godly sorrow that will drive you to pray for them. You would want them to have a taste of the sweetness of the Holy Spirit in you. You would desire your local church to be on fire. You would crave the outpouring of the spirit on everyone around you. You would hate sin so badly that you do not want to see anyone or yourself having anything to do with it.

There are certain revelations you begin to have, trances, visions, revelations of his word. You would see a verse you’ve read a “million” times as a totally new verse. You would not listen to messages just carelessly, pressing your phone mindlessly. NO! Something within you will keep wanting to drink of the word, you’ll be filled with an immense thirst that any healthy word of God will run into your heart. You will also be able to discern false doctrine, you will discern the spirits correctly, so many things sisters. It is inexhaustible.

It is a “TASTE AND SEE” experience that we should all really cry to the Lord for and desire that we all have.

All these are dimensions that only salvation and sanctification cannot take you into sisters. You may start and feel some of these but you need power to do them, you need power to feel these and only the Holy Ghost power within you can make you feel it.

If you are already filled, you should desire daily manifestations and infill and cry out to God for that. You will still have the same old prayer life if God does not do new infillings and manifestations in your heart. So we must desire to grow, dear sister.

I really beg of you dear sister, that you really desire this gift and infill. For the advancement of the Kingdom, through the BUD family, it is prerequisite that we are each baptised with this power and daily experiencing his infilling. Only then can we be true blessings and bring more women to the light of God’s word. Only then can you become a true vessel unto honour to God.

And just a huge disclaimer, don’t ever try to fake the gift of tongues. THAT IS A VERY GRIEVOUS SIN OF MOCKING THE SPIRIT! 1 Corinthians 12:3 ESV: Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says “Jesus is accursed!” and no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except in the Holy Spirit. You never know if what you are saying is accusing the Lord because you don’t understand your words either and that is really dangerous.

The consequence of speaking in an unknown tongue you’ve learned and faking a gift you don’t have, is right in the scriptures. Matthew 12:31-32 ESV: “Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come”.

PLEASE LET IT NEVER BE HEARD OF US SISTERS! It is blasphemy and unforgivable if you continue. Acts 17:30 ESV: “The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent”,  I heard some people learn these tongues in church or on YouTube or anywhere else, if you are one repent quickly and unlearn what you learnt and cry for a true and fresh baptism of the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of our Father will never be hoarded from us. He will never deprive us of the good gift of the Holy Spirit.

May we also note dear sisters that you will never get that baptism of the spirit if you are living in sin. Acts 2:38 ESV: “And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit”.

Let me share a personal experience.

When I began desiring to be filled with the spirit, I was praying and asking God for it as everyone would. Then we went for a conference, I was praying and I felt the Holy Spirit begin to convict me of sinfulness that was obstructing that baptism. I was surprised because I thought I was living free from sin. But when I searched within I found the hidden sin lying around and withholding that gift from coming. Few weeks later, I was baptized in the Holy Ghost in another conference.

This to say that there may be something inside, it could be a little unforgiveness you think nothing of, or a little anger you didn’t even know was lurking somewhere. The power will never come on defilement! and any trace of sin! Because after His outpouring on you, you begin to experience the Shekinah glory of His presence, that can come only in a very holy heart. In the Pentateuch, the High Priest, Aaron had to go through an intense cleansing before he got into the Holy of Holies where the Shekinah glory of God is the only light. Same as us today, we need to be totally pure, spirits searched, sin purged off and then we can then go back to ask for the power with an empty clean heart and he’ll give it to you.

As we round off, please open up your heart. Everyone gets baptised in slightly different ways, you can be by reading this bulletin and praying with all your heart, you could be in your private closet but wherever means it’s done, the evidence of a loose tongue speaking in unknown language to the Lord is the same.

Let’s sing this song over and over again and release yourself to the Lord to take over, don’t mind your surrounding or how you’ll behave, just release yourself and let his deep call unto your deep.

“Open Up” by Dunsin Oyekan

Out of the mundane

To where I’m ordained

For things that were made

Were made from things unseen

There are realms of glory

For my world to see

Dimensions found only

In Jesus Christ the Son

Channels of my spirit, Open up!

I am with the Father, Open up!

No boundaries, no limits, Open up!

Let deep call unto deep, Open up!

(Repeat as often as you can)

Let the river flow now

Out of my belly shall flow,

Rivers of living water,

Out of my belly shall flow,

Out of my belly shall flow,

Rivers of living water,

Let deep call unto deep,

Let it flow flow flow,

No boundaries, no limits

Let it flow flow flow (2X)

Let the river flow (4X)

Out of my belly shall flow

Rivers of living waters,

Let the river flow (13X)

Out of my belly shall flow,

Let the river flow,

Out of my belly shall flow,

Let the river flow (12X)

My world needs to see Jesus

They need to feel Jesus

Because I’m the extension of his hands

I’m the extension of his hands

I’m the carrier of Grace

I’m the carrier of Grace

Nations are inside of me

Open up! Open up!

Destinies are inside of me

Open up! Open up!.

PRAYERS FOR THE INFILLING

  1. If you are already speaking in tongues, ask that the Lord will consistently renew your tongue in every due season. That You will speak in mysteries correlative of the times you are in, as led by His Spirit.
  2. Pray that the Lord will so cause you to be a willing vessel in His hands that the fragrance of Christ will consistently spread from your life.

Listen and pray with this song:

Holy Spirit, Rain Down- Hillsong

Holy Spirit rain down, rain downOh Comforter and FriendHow we need Your touch againHoly Spirit rain down, rain downLet Your power fallLet Your voice be heardCome and change our heartsAs we stand on Your WordHoly Spirit rain down.

No eye has seen, no ear has heardNo mind can know what God has in storeSo open up heaven, open it wideOver Your church, over our lives

Continue to pray as influenced and inspired by the Holy Spirit. Raise prayer points from the various matters addressed in the bulletin as may have struck you.

Thank you Lord, Amen!

Dear Sister, Say you did not receive the infilling today but you began to thirst, congratulations, there are steps spiritually and you’ve just climbed one. Diligently go through the bulletin again and again until you get to the infilling point.

You can read books in these periods that highlight the importance, speak to those baptised in the Holy Ghost, listen to messages about it (be very voracious in this period for you may even receive yours from one), watch God’s outpouring of the Holy Ghost on people. These will help you greatly desire the gift. To conclude, keep your heart open because you may receive it at any point, don’t restrict the baptism to only what you can get from a message/song/bulletin/book. It could be gotten anywhere. The Lord does as he pleases with us as long as we surrender our vessels (purged and clean) to him.

God bless us all sisters. See you in the evening for the study of the word at 7pm. Much love and blessings and may the everlasting peace of God abide with your hearts, Amen!
