BUD Spotlight: Interview with the Face of BUD

BUD Spotlight:

Thank you so much Miss Dunsin Babalola⁩ for joining us on such short notice. Let’s get started. Can we meet you? Please tell us all we need to know about you

Dunsin Babalola:

My name is Babalola Oluwadunsin Beatrice. I’m 29yrs old. I’m from Ekiti state. I’m a graduate of Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State. I’m a Medical Laboratory Scientist by Profession. I’m single. I’m a lover of God and I’m a BUD.

BUD Spotlight:

When did you join The BUD Family? And how did you join?

Dunsin Babalola:

I joined BUD in 2017. I can’t remember the date precisely. I joined through a colleague of mine while in school that year🤗

BUD Spotlight:

We know you have a lot to say about BUD. Mention some few things about BUD. What are the things you have noticed since you joined?

Dunsin Babalola:

I’ve noticed growth since I joined BUD

BUD Spotlight:

Can you elaborate more ma?

Dunsin Babalola:

The BUD Family is a blessed home, where I see love in action. It’s a home of blessings. It’s a family where godly women are raised and equipped in all aspects.

THE BUD FAMILY INTERNATIONAL

BUD Spotlight:

Tell us more about the journey to becoming the Face of BUD.

Dunsin Babalola:

Actually, this journey started on neutral ground,I didn’t really take it seriously. On the first day of the year which was Sunday, I took a selfie of myself and before the end of the day, I saw a post on the group that we should send in our first picture of the year if we had one and I did. Little did I know that Mrs. Yaks had made a reel with all the photos submitted that day.

BUD Spotlight:

Big things start small. Opportunity met with readiness🥰

Dunsin Babalola:

And another post came that we should send in clearer pictures. I didn’t want to because I was busy that night, so, I just overlooked it, but my younger sister who’s a BUD called me on phone and said ‘Sister mi, are you not uploading your picture again?’ and I told her I’m not really into a contest like this. But she was like ‘who knows if this is going to be your birthday gift?’ Of a truth, I’d been praying to God for a birthday gift because there are some things I need from God in particular but definitely not about this contest.

BUD Spotlight:

Your sister is very prophetic.

Dunsin Babalola:

I uploaded my photo and true to my sister’s words, on my birthday I heard a piece of bad news and a good news as well. Hearing the news that I had scored high in the contest, lifted up my spirit. When I saw the total votes, a few days ago, I was so shocked because I wasn’t expecting it. I’m grateful to God for how far we’ve come.

BUD Spotlight:

How do you hope to represent BUD?

Dunsin Babalola:

I hope to represent BUD in a Godly way so that when people see me, they’d see the light of Christ. I’ve seen and witnessed so many worldly contests and I see how they represent. BUD isn’t about Decency and Godly dressing alone. My lifestyle should preach Christ and propel others to, not repel them from Christ.

BUD Spotlight:

What are the things you hope to achieve as the Face of BUD?

Dunsin Babalola:

I intend to impact my world or the people around me by leaving behind a legacy of service to humanity. There’s actually a project I’d wanted to do for myself but funds and some other factors wouldn’t allow me. It’s a medical outreach actually and looking at The BUD family, we have quite a number of medical practitioners there. If it is possible, we can plan a particular month for it. It’s actually not an easy task but I know God can help us through it.

BUD Spotlight:

How does it feel like to be the Face of BUD?

Dunsin Babalola:

Honestly ma’am, I wasn’t expecting it but at the same time, I feel elated. It’s an honor and privilege to be the first face of BUD- during our seventh anniversary for that matter!

BUD Spotlight:

May that honor make you beam the light of Christ everywhere you go in Jesus’ name. What are your prayers for BUD as we clock 7?

Dunsin Babalola:

I know very well in my heart that BUD is going more international than this. This family will be known through the world at large in the Name of Jesus. Because 7 signifies perfection, the life of every BUD member will be perfected. Our light will not go dim. I pray for Mrs. Yaks and all the admins, that they’d continue to be a blessing to the world.

BUD Spotlight:

How do you see yourself in the next 7 years.

Dunsin Babalola:

In the next 7 years, I see myself as a great entrepreneur in my field as a Medical Personnel, a godly wife, and a great mum to 3 beautiful children.🙈

BUD Spotlight:

What would you love to say to inspire other godly women out there?

Dunsin Babalola:

Godliness with contentment is a great gain. Many women face various circumstances. They encounter inevitable trials and challenges that often make them feel stuck, lost, discouraged, worthless, or hopeless. Yet, during these difficult situations, we discover women clothed with strength and confidence to conquer and overcome. Equip and fill yourself with uplifting words to remind you of your worth and value. Glow with confidence. Additionally, it is a fact that no one can take away the confidence and security found in the Lord. So, if you’re a woman, whatever life throws at you, remember that you are a conqueror. You are loved. You are someone’s answered prayer. With God, you are unstoppable.

BUD Spotlight:

That’s the end of today’s interview ma Thank you so much for coming.
