I NEVER KNEW
WRITTEN BY: BABES TEMILAYO ODUFUWA
[A PUBLICATION OF THE B.U.D. FAMILY INTERNATIONAL]
I wish I had known, that
An inch in the wrong direction could be a mile in a journey of regrets
A minute sleep could be the entrance to a lifetime of poverty
A careless smile to Mr Wrong could be that straw that breaks Mr Right’s back!
Why did no one tell me, that
Though my besetting sin isn’t so powerful as to overpower the Love of the Almighty
It’s consequences would be so strong as to seduce me to leave the shadow of the Almighty,
It’s wages would be so great as to make me blot from my memory the easily accessible and everlasting mercies of the Almighty
It should have been written on billboards, that
Though there’s an army out there ready to steal the treasure of the Lady of Virtue,
However where sin abounds, grace much more abounds
And her security lies in her relationship with Abba and fellowship with heaven bound brethren…
I truly never knew but now that I know, VICTORY IS MINE!
Glory to God! This is powerful!
