TAGGED: WAR AGAINST ADDICTION
THEME DAY 7: OPENED FLOODGATES OF FREEDOM
Halleluyah!
We have gotten to the seventh day of our wonderful programme, War Against Addiction and the fourteenth and last day of our Juicy July Programme. Oh Glory!
The Lord is faithful!
He is mighty!
Today, we want to seal everything we have prayed about but before we go on, let’s go over what we have done these past seven days.
DAY 1, we considered SEARCH ME OH LORD! And our TEXT was taken from the book of PSALMS 139 verses 24-25:
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of.
It was a foundation of the programme. A test to know if you are an addict or not was conducted and some fiery prayers were said to that effect also.
Let me just run through the remain days so we can continue with our prayers for today.
DAY 2: THE FAINTING WARRIOR
Romans 7:24-25
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
DAY 3: YANKING OFF THE ADDICTIONS.
TEXT: Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Day 4: DESIRE TO BE FREE!
2 Corinthians 5:17 …those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun! {NLT}
Day 5: PURIFY ME OH LORD!
TEXT(s): So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:16
He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, and they will bring offerings in righteousness to the LORD. Malachi 3:3
Day 6: A TOTAL KNOCKOUT.
TEXT: 1CORINTHIANS 15:57: “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!”
Oh Glory! Today, we bring to you, OPENED FLOODGATES OF FREEDOM.
Something good is going to happen to you today! Halleluyah!
Gen. 28:16-17: “And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not. And he was afraid, and said, how dreadful this place is! This is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven”
SURELY; IF HELL HAS GATES (Psa. 24:7, Matt. 16:18), HEAVEN MUST HAVE. SO THERE IS THE GATE OF HEAVEN.
This season, the Floodgates of Heaven are opened unto you for victory and breakthrough in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
Three outlines:
1. What happens when the floodgates of Heaven opens?
2. Example of People that had open heavens.
3. What must I do to keep the door perpetually opened?
1. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE FLOODGATES OF HEAVENS OPEN?
The gate of Heaven is the Meeting Point between the mortal and the immortal, the human and the divine and between the natural and the supernatural.
Anyone that the gate is opened to is initiated into the realm of the supernatural.
That is where the dead hears the voice of the Son of God and live – Jn. 5:25
That is where the law of resurrection terminates the law of death by the force of faith: Jn. 11:25-26.
It is the place of the ‘Now Possibility’ – Jn. 11:22
It is where captivity turns like a dream Ps. 126:1-3
It is a place of turn around breakthroughs.
When the floodgates of heaven opens:
Struggles end and tears are wiped away – Rev. 21:4.
It is where God makes all things new – Rev. 21:5.
It is where the stories of men are re-written, new chapters are opened to a man and men enter into ‘above the next level’ in their endeavors and adventures on the earth – Mk. 2:10-12.
It is place of special and creative miracles. Mk. 8:22-25
It is where a man’s life begins to command supernatural experiences, occurrences and explanations on the earth. Gen. 26:12-14
2. JESUS IS A BIG EXAMPLE OF SOMEONE WHO ENJOYED THE FLOODGATES OF HEAVEN
“While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.” Matt. 17:5.
Also in Matt. 3:13-17 The results of these are the supernatural experiences that followed Jesus’ lifestyles on the earth.
Everything he spoke to, heard and obeyed him!
Nothing refused him; everything answered without sweat to Him.
Others are Moses; the widow of Zarephath; Solomon; Peter and so on.
3. WHAT MUST I DO TO COMMAND FLOODGATES OF HEAVEN TO OPEN?
The forces that open the gate of heaven to a man include the following:
1. Obedience to the Word of God – Commitment, compliance with and addiction to the Word of God opens the gate of heaven to man. (Read Deut. 28:1, 12-13)
This was the case of Peter in Lk. 5:5, ”Master, we have toiled all the night “…nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.”
2. Tithing – Heaven refuses, rejects and resists any man who fails to pay her tithes. The Gate of Heaven is totally locked against him no matter her religious rituals and rigors.
A non-tither has attracted devourers to every area of his life: Mal. 3:10-12
3. Aggressive Praying & Righteousness: Jesus went to the transfiguration mountain to pray when the gate of heaven was opened to Him. Jesus was a prayer addict: Mk. 1:35, Lk. 6:12; 4:2, 22, 44.
The praying man will stop sinning and a sinning man will stop praying.
Heb. 1:9, ”Thou hast loved righteousness and hated iniquity; therefore God…hath anointed thee with oil of gladness above thy fellows”
If you are a lady of the Word, a tither and a prayer addict that loves righteousness, you will access the opening of the floodgates of heaven from now on and all your days of sojourn on this side eternity.
SHALL WE PRAY?
Begin to thank Him for yet another day. Thank Him for He is a covenant keeping and merciful God.
Begin to plead the Blood of Jesus upon your life to atone for your errors and shortcoming.
Every act of violation and breaking of scriptures in my life, Oh Lord Jesus, forgive me, in Jesus’ Name.
Thou floodgates of heaven, open unto me as from today by the Blood of the Lamb and by the mercy of God, in the Name of Jesus.
I revoke and annul right now every evil law that is remotely controlling my experiences on the earth, in Jesus’ Name.
Every diversion and perversion inflicted upon my destiny, be reversed now by fire, in the Name of Jesus.
I command the anointing for the now possibility to rest upon my life as from today, in Jesus’ Mighty Name.
Oh thou my destiny, begin to experience new things; a turnaround breakthroughs and the above-the-next-level in every area of my life as from today, in Jesus’ Name
I command that as from today, life begins to answer, support, and favor and help me on every side, in Jesus’ Name.
Today, I open all the cosed doors of sexual purity in the Name of Jesus.
Lord, because all things are possible to You, I decree and command that righteousness will be possible to me! Holiness will be possible to me! In the Blessed Name of Jesus!
You promised Joshua that no man shall be able to stand on his way all the days of his life, Lord I command by the Power that is in the Name of Jesus that no sin, no addiction, no habit, no thought shall stand on the way of my spiritual success in the Name of Jesus!
You also promised Joshua that as You were with Moses, so You would be with him, Lord, as You were with Joseph, shielding him from sexual sins, be with me and shield me from lustful desires in the Name of Jesus
Even in a strange land, Daniel and his three friends could resist good delicacies because they weren’t necessarily good, help me to caution myself oh Lord! Help me not to indulge my flesh in the Glorious Name of Jesus.
Little Samuel lived with children of Eli who were sexual perverts and thieves, even the Bible called them the sons of Belial, yet Samuel was incorruptible. Oh Lord my God, even in the midst of this dirty world, keep me.
I am free in the Name of Jesus! (Repeat seven times)

I will not miss Heaven in the Name of Jesus.
I receive the Grace to do exploits for the Lord in the Name of Jesus!
My spiritual life shall not be defeated or cut short in the Victorious Name of Jesus.
I command the floodgates of Heaven to be opened right now in the Name of Jesus! Over me, over my family, over all that concerns me, the floodgates of Heaven, be open in the Name of Jesus! Amen.

Pray on as the Spirit leads.
Proclaim great promises of the Lord into Your life.
Sing praises to the Lord for He is good and His mercies endures forever.
